Cafe Marina in Irakleion

I had a cup of greek coffee there. The prices were very acceptable.We had an orange juice a cup of cappuccino and a double cup of greek coffee for under 10€.

Nice restaurant, lovely food and nice setting. Dreadful piped music

We went to eat some seafood, and the fish didnt taste fresh. The waiter asked me for my opinion, I gave an honest review on the seafood, and they got upset. Good environment by the beach, but not a good place to eat all over.

Great place to have a drink!

Situated right on the harbour it’s a great place for a drink with views of the moored boats and the Rocca a Mare Fortress which is a restored 16th century fort that overlooks the harbour. You can walk around outside for free but to go inside you need to pay.We got to the cafe at 9:00 hungry for breakfast and told that no food is served until 11:00, despite they have a breakfast menu!! Go figure!This was quite annoying as we had paid 3 euro to park the car. Otherwise I would have given 4 stars. The toilets also not good but this is typical in Greece.

This was my first dinner in Crete!What a great introduction to the Greek cuisine!Nice meals, wonderful staff, fabulous location in the harbour of Heraklion...You were fantastic! 1000 bravos!!!Thank you for everything everyone: this was lovely!

Cool place to have aperitif and see the marina of Heraklion!

Lovely place, we had smooties there in the morning before setting sail for the day.

This cafe is situated at probably the best location in Heraklion with view of the Venetian harbor and the Koule fortress.These last years there have been major improvement is all aspects, renovation, new stuff and new menu!I have had dinner there twice lately and have enjoyed it.I definitely recommend it for a quick bite, lunch with friends or just for coffee.

Excellent place. Even better with the current upgrades! I dont like that they keep bringing dirty bottles of water. But you can get a branded one sealed with extra charge for normal price

If you are the proud owner of this establishment I hope you read this. Serve food for good many, but your guest need to use these toilets without seats etc. Disgustingly dirty place. Don’t go until the decide to tidy up the place.

We were very poorly received, the staff did not come to us. The staff walk past us several times without saying hello to you. I strongly advise against this restaurant if you are tourists.

We waited here for a boat pick up, and had friendly service and lots of free snacks! We didn’t even know we were hungry until we sat down and saw the full cafe of people eating! Soak up the sights of the fortress and the boats docked up, great for a light meal and some local culture.

Food was oustanding, plates were big and Staff was very friendly. I can definately recommend this place to anyone!!!

Great location!!Service is lacking.Only 2 waiters for entire outside area....Only got crips and peanuts halfway through my beer.Room for improvement..

A great place to enjoy your coffee and snack near by the port. The view is excellent and the service really kind and friendly. There is even an indoors small playground for kids , so they can have some fun too while you relax.

Our favorite all time, all ages all peoples cafe by the venetian port.

Easy to park and nice view onthe harbour

Right at the marina. Outside seating. Just had a beer. In December not so busy. Spacious and modern. Access for handicapped people.

Very nice location close to the Yacht Marina. We were here for Dinner, good portions, tasty food and price-worthy. Covid Control for all visitors, staff was wearing masks. Friendly service. We can fully recommend.

Very nice coffee shop & restaurant in the Port!

Very nice place to sit and enjoy your coffee or drink next to the boats of the old port.the view is beautiful especially at evening and morning due to the light playing with the scenery, the castle of coule and the sea and boats is dominating your view.a little expensive and noise the place but very nice experience.

Very long wait, even though it is lazy morning time and just few tables are occupied. My order was mixed, everybody got their dish and I had at least 10 minutes more of waiting. Quite pricey, too, though not extreme. Pancakes themselves were good, though extremely sweet and fat due to all the dressing. Such a portion is for 2 people at least...BTW - No toilet has a seat!

We came just for a beer, so no opinion on the food. But the place is lovely and service is top. Plus we received free snacks

Perfect lunch with beautiful view. The staff is friendly and speak perfectly english. The service was good ans fast (10 min). The food was very tasty, generous and fresh. The homemade lemonade is a must to try 👌

One of my favorite chill out spots in Heraklion, the Marina Cafe has magnificent views, very good snacks and food, and some of the best value in town. This is the place to go if you cannot decide where to go. A thinkers paradise.

This place was once a very nice spot for coffee and a light snack but over the last few months it has gone down hill. Very rude staff below average quality of food and drink and the customers parking is always full of cars of none customers with the parking attendant saying he cannot do anything. I would give this place a wide berth.

Its the best place for a morning coffee or lunch even for a cocktail in the summer nights . It has view at the boats and the Fort in the harbour. Whenever I m there time flies and and I dont want to leave. It has nice music very good service. It deserves a visit if you re a tourist. It s one of my favorite places as a local.

Nice view if you sit outside. About the view I should give give stars. But everything else is maybe even less than four stars....

We entered at a little before 13:00 o clock, sat down in plain sight of the employees. They looked at us for twenty minutes and even relaxed and did nothing, then even watched us as we left. An utter failure is all it was. I don’t recommend this at all. They could have at least talked to us or tell us something... catastrophe.

Very cozy and welcoming place. They offer free parking if you go inside to buy ANYTHING. Get a coffee and then you can walk around heraklion.We happened to stay and had a pizza and a smile to go along with it. We were pleased with the atmosphere and the service.The staff were welcoming and answered any questions we had about the menuThe bathrooms were also cleanI’d definitly go again

Fine café in the heart of the marina - you could hardly find a better location. The atmosphere was really good. We had some club sandwiches with delicious fries, presented on a wooden board. Inside there is a playground for children, and the toilet facilities are also very good. The café is close to parking facilities and sights at the port.

Food was ok (we only had toasties), drinks were lovely and the views are amazing. The staff seemed friendly and the place was clean. A star is knocked off for the pigeons and geese scrounging food. All in all well worth it though for a lovely close up view of the fortress over a beautiful marina.
