One of Trondheims coziest outdoor sitting area. They also have really good onion soup, perfect for chilly autumn days

Dogs are allowed to the terrace and they have infrared heaters so it isnt cold even on a rainy day. We had just drinks here and I was too clumsy and spilled my drink to the bar counter but the friendly staff offered me new one anyway 🙇

Crowded but fun. Mix of all ages, great atmosphere. Built on old shipyard with lots of relics outside.

Not a good experience. There is hardly any service - you have to fetch a menu yourself, order food at the bar, water is available inside (but was empty when we wanted some), tables are not cleared (attracting large birdsand the waiting time is long. The food is ok, not bad, but considering the price for lunch, its not the quality that you expect for the price. The prawn sandwich had a lot of prawns, but hardly anything else (only a small slice of bread, some leafs of lettuce and that was it). May be a good place for a cup of coffee or a beer, but try something else for lunch.

Crowded but not overly full, yet queuing at the bar and waiting for 20+ minutes for two beers. Not acceptable.Only reason for 4 stars is the charm and location of this Trondheim gem. Waiters could have organized peanuts or sth for the waiting customers.Large variety of beers and bar-y snacks and good. Good burgers, I have heard.

This used to be one of my favorite spots to have a drink, but last nights experience didnt really sit well with me. With the COVID restrictions, its more than reasonable that theyd require you to buy food in order to buy a drink. Every other bar has to contend with the same restrictions. But Café Løkka has clearly exploited this opportunity to squeeze out every last kroner from their customers.You want to drink? Thatll be 149kr for the meal you dont want to eat--the meal that were not particularly good at making, and the meal that doesnt really correspond with the money youre paying for it. Walk 10 minutes south along the river and youll find a bar just as (if not morecozy than Café Løkka serving much more nourishing stew for 30 kroner.Okay fine. So youre 150kr down and you have a little basket of microwaved nachos in front of you. You now have the privilege of paying another 90 or so kroner for literally the cheapest and lowest quality beer thats even crafted on the entire planet. Never mind that its somewhere around 25% more expensive than what most other bars will charge for it. Not to worry! They do have student discounts, but "not today (of course)".Why not today? Because it was Monday? May 17? Corona? Taken together with the asinine 5 drink maximum and the food requirement (cleverly designed to ensure that any given person spends twice what theyd normally spend at a bar), the whole experience just felt intensely sleazy, to a point where I feel that Ive been scammed. The only reason I havent given it lower stars is that Ive had a pleasant experience in the past (although its been a while since thenand the staff was very friendly and courteous, despite the absurdity of the rules they have to enforce. Its a pretty cozy place to have a drink, they usually have good taste in music, and the crowd here isnt over-the-top "real douchebag hours". All in all a nice concept and location, but I couldnt in good conscience give them the stars theyd otherwise deserve after they pulled last nights nonsense.

The "Purka" pulled pork burger was juicy and had a sweet taste. Good aioli served with it. The nachos were a bit boring.Good to see infection tracking was taken seriously and followed up on.

Over-priced, you are overpaying for what you get, the burger patties are quite smal (120g), bad service (you order at the bar, and waiters check on you every 30 minutes). The furniture is old and weary.

To put it simply, the worst burger I have even been served. Both me and my girlfriend got served a way overdone burger made from the cheapest minced meat.Served with almost no salad and an aioli that tasted like some random store bought product. An average gas station burger is leagues better.

I recommend this cafe to travelers all the time, good food, good drinks and nice atmosphere. I would give 5 stars however Trondheim is a student city with many international students needing work and this cafe will only hire people who are fluent in Norwegian even though the students take their classes in English and pretty much all of the cafes menu items come from English speaking countries and are therefore easy to order in English so two stars lost for those international students this cafe will not hire.

Origami Løkka is a performance troup within the Origami Republika network based in an around the Solsiden area of Trondheim. They usually perform pieces like burger, fries, eggs, drinks, beer and board games, usually within acceptable parameters.

Good outdoors seating, but could be more confortable, ok food, ok prices, but can generally do better in every aspect, also costumer service, but all in all ok.

Great local cafe/bar. Veggie burger is amazingly good! Open late. Awesome beer selection.

A chill place to hang out both during the day as well as during the later hours. They have really good (really sweetsmoothies, and some board games as well.

Nice atmosphere. Not a place to whisper sweet nothings to your loved one. They wont hear you. Good pub menu though

Good assortment of tap and bottled beer. Nice environment in an old boathouse. Often quality not mainstream funky groovy oldies goldies music.

I love this place. The terrace is perfect when the sun shines, even if its a bit cold. Inside its a cozy place with good food and very good coffee. One of my favourites places in Trondheim.

Had a wonderfull mushroom sandwich for lunch that tasted brilliantly and arrived promptly. The setting was also quite satisfactory.

Fine place to go out for a beer or wine, good food aswell. Great location by the water and close to both the city center and the popular dining spot Solsiden.

Might be my favorite café here in Trondheim. Chill atmosphere with an equally chill staff. You cant not love this place

Great burgers! I reccomend "purka", its a pulled pork burger. If you dont eat meat they have a good vegetarian (not vegan thouburger. They also have a great selection of beer.If the weather is nice in the summer this place is a great alternative to tha restaurants at solsiden. Less noise too.The staff is and have always been very friendly.

Good food for the price. Nice location, fantastic when the weather is nice. Too bad they were out of salt!? when the only thing missing was a pinch if salt on the baked potato and the shrimps. The veggie burger and the chilli was tasty.Nice selection of beer.

Good food, good music, some nice selection of beer, feel is more "American diner" than Cafe. A lot of people on laptops in there during the day, nice and peaceful. Quickly turns busy on a nice day

The atmosphere and location were lovely, and the food was very good. The staff is bilingual and helpful, making the restaurant very tourist-friendly. Food was on the expensive side of affordable (about 300 Krone for a burger, pint of beer and small dessert). Overall had a very pleasant evening here.

Very conveniently located in a stunning area, which benefits from being more friendly than other parts of the city. Great staff are helpful and friendly, and you can practice your Norwegian! Somewhat expensive, but swift service and tasty food. My main quibble was that the patty was rather thin (à La McDonalds), but that might be more of a local thing. Definitely good for food lovers. Lovely outside seating area. And the local IPA is brilliant - Brits should feel at home with a pint of this stuff!

Order and pay in advance inside. Good food choice and great outside location. Seem to be lower prices than main Solsiden restaurants.

Good service, atmosphere and food. Good beer selection too! We were walking around Trondheim center on the hunt for food and beer and then we found this pearl! We sat out by the canal with a lovely view of the summer sky and park.

Pleasant pub with nice pub grub. Decent bottle selection quality wise. Great place for a chat with friends and a large outside area for sunny days.

This place has the best burgers in town and the beer selection is pretty decent. The snickers milkshake is easily worth the cost. It can get a little noisy here though.Very decent outdoor seating during the summer.
