Café Laut - Lystigarðinum in Akureyri

My friend and I were so disappointed to see this location was closed HOWEVER, it is now called Lyst which we found out by a happy accident!!! Check this location out for sure!

נמצא בתוך הגן הבוטני של אקווריירי.מקום שקט וקסום עם נוף פסטורלי של צמחים.ארוחת הבוקר היתה די טובה.הגן הבוטני פתוח גם מוקדם בבוקר ומאוחר בערב, הוא מואר ומתאים לטיולים.בית הקפה היה פתוח כבר ב 7:00 בבוקר.

Der Kaffee ist hier echt lecker! Da dieses Land ja kein Eldorado für Kaffeetrinker:innen ist, kann ich diesen Landen nur wärmstens empfehlen.

For the food I would give 3/4 stars, but this place is in a great location and the bulding itself is simply wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling through the town. And as a bonus, you can visit the botanical garden afterwards.

Hier findet Ihr ein kleines sehr ruhig gelegenes Paradies mit einer sehr freundlichen Besitzerin und liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmer. Der Hot Top mit schöner Aussicht ist genial und Ihr befindet Euch in einer abwechslungsreichen Landschaft, die Ihr bei einer kleinen Wanderung erkunden könnt.Einzig die Möglichkeit selbst zu kochen ist leider nicht optimal. Wir haben gelernt, Reis in der Mikrowelle zu kochen😉 am besten vorher fragen, welche Möglichkeiten bestehen.

Ein gemütliches kleines Café mitten im Botanischen Garten von Akureyri. Das Café bietet sehr guten Kaffee, Brownies und Kuchen an. Die Preise sind minimal höher als in Deutschland, also sehr fair und für Island günstig. Die Panoramafenster bieten einen schönen Blick in den Garten, im Sommer kann man auch wunderbar auf der Terrasse in der Sonne sitzen.

Café dentro del Jardin Botanico de la ciudad. Te sientes dentro de la Naturaleza. Arquitectura del café preciosa y dulces riquisimo.

식물원속에 위치한 카페, 가격도 한국과 비슷하고 적당함. 카페라떼, 아메리카노, 머핀해서 1700이나옴. 주변에 꽃과 정원 구경하기 좋음

Great cafe in fantastic location. After walking through the botanical gardens and being able to sit outside and have a tea what more could you want. Great service and not that expensive for Icelandic standards.

Fantastic coffee shop in middle of botanical gardens. Staff was super friendly and they have some cake and pastry’s as well. Also a few sandwiches.. very unique building and clean great place to unwind after a long day!

A very good cafe with a good selection of general pastries, coffees, etc. The food is very good, but lacks a little bit of creativity and uniqueness to be a 5 star type of a coffee snack. Regardless, very enjoyable.The reason you want to come here is to marvel in the beautiful modern architecture. The building is absolutely wonderful, with bold lines and a terrific view of the outside. Sit, rest, look around, and study the little details. When youre done eating and checking out the building, go outside and enjoy the area. Lovely place not to be missed when in Akureyri!

Beautifully designed cafe in the botanical gardens. Gorgeous view of the gardens while enjoying a beer, coffee, or cake! I had the banana cheesecake and it was divine - very fluffy, light, and full of flavour. A friend had the vegan cake which was delicious too! Reasonable prices.
