Cafe Gallery - Night club in Tbilisi, Georgia
Its closed Tuesday.
Best techno Ive heard in months (better than Bassiani), but filled with a bad crowd that doesnt know how to appreciate good music.
That is obviously not a place to visit. If you have another options, just stay away from this place. Service is poor, not that crowded but they will charge you for entrance. Feels like fraud
I like this place! Drinks, music, dance, fun....
Lovely very lovely place to chill
I came here over a year ago with my girlfriend, as ignorant tourists we were treated wonderfully by the bar staff, we had some wonderful wine and snacks. The Café itself is very nice and cosy, and they play some fantastic music, it is also good to see that they are committed to being LGBTQ+ friendly here , and that they are vocal about it. If I ever visit Tbilisi again this will be the first place I come!!
I ordered here a tomato soup. The soup was very sweet. Taste just sweetness. The lenses soup was with coriander and was not written and the lemon was missing. Both soups for the toilet. Just waste of money
I went there with the expectation of entering a queer place, but it was more the "below-average" party crowd with cheaply dressed girls and macho guys hunting after them. Music was ok, but felt totally like in the wrong place.
Nice open space with a varied clientele. Nothing spectacular about the place though.
Day part of the cafe is good, food is normal, nothing special. Night part is club, oldest night club in Tbilisi. Good is that, every Tuesday they have techno party, but 80% people is under 20. Sometimes they have good techno music on weekends.
They asked for 15 Lari entrance fee. I found out it should be only 10 Lari. When I left I confronted the cashier and she talked out about different prices for pre-sale and at the door but in fact its not true. Club is okay, not so crowded during the week, people are very young… no one around 30 in there.
Very nice, multi porpoise venue with decent food and good parties, best for pre or after parties.
Great place, good vibe, everyone inside seemed to know each other and get well along. Not expensive, laid back (meaning it may take a bit for you to get served, but you’ll be served like you were in a friend’s living room). Fun!
Great place for nice music and friendly stuff
Great Space, cool Music, food is nice... unfortunately the lack of good service even though there is a added 10% service charge is a huge let down.
Nice place to dance and hang out in the smoking room.
Music was good. But the place - is awful. It is dark, the furniture is broken. Prices unreasonably high, menu - small and waiters behave strangely cold and arrogant
Delicious cuisine but I shouldn’t ask to make a chicken in different sauce cause it was very dry
I do not know the reviewer Tiki Miki below but that is a correct analysis. Very rude and aggressive bouncers that frisked us as if we were entering some home of a dictator. The place is dirty, smokey (yes, they allow people to smoke in there without ventalationand well, empty. We left disappointed after one beer and as we left, the most aggressive and drunk bouncer punched the metal door as we wallked out. Avoid this place at all costs.
Very RUDE stuff working at the entrance especially the one waiting next to ticket booth inside. The way he searched me last night was unacceptable TOUCHING ALL MY BODY PARTS and moving me around extremely AGGRESSIVE and DISRESPECTFUL. It was literally a mixture of VIOLENCE and SEXUAL ABUSE. Besides, I’m a DJ, event organizer and played in various venues around the world so very familiar with party scene. But this is definitely not the way you treat customers...Eventually we didnt stay inside too long cos both me and my friends were already demoralized. Besides the party wasnt good. While we were leaving the venue, the same guy PUNCHED the door while we were passing which even freaked out the girl selling the tickets. Probably it was for intimidation but for what reason? I will never come back for sure and also will spread the words about this place..Big DISAPPOINTMENT. If I were in charge of this venue, I would definitely check last nights camera records after this comment and fire that person.
Nice place , but small , basically for drug users to enjoy music while they can snort lines in the bathroom, or smoke weed on the smoking area , bartenders will raise prices if they smell a tourist, Be aware .
Very Great Sound! The best place to chill and listen Techno Music!
This place still has “face control” policy. Clear discrimination is seen which speaks terrible form your venue
Nice food and cool atmosphere!
I got turned down at the door because, apparently, Cafe Gallery doesnt like foreigners, even if it claims to embrace diversity. So, if you are looking for some real Georgian electronic music scene, go to Khidi, Mtkvarze or Bassiani instead.
Here everything is megatasty, super staff, awesome mood!
Tourists!!! A taxi driver who offers "girls", is a liar! He will take you to a very bad and terrible place! Do not trust in taxi drivers in Tbilisi!
An Awfull boring place ... rude and impolite service and staff... after selling alcohol drinks they get rid of their clients sayig that its a private club
Cafe Gallery obviously is well-staked in the cultural fabric of modern Tbilisi. The interior is rundown chic and matches its patio. Both nights I visited were slow, which I consider preferable. The 4 stars reflect the atmosphere, certainly not the service. The bartender seemed cold, but in actuality he was just inept (and comically slow). Stick to beer, hang out on the patio, and youll be fine.
Alternative artistc cafe with large terrace and relaxed atmosphere.THE GOODAtmosphereMusicChilled peopleTHE BADPeople smoke a lot on the terracesBOTTOM LINEI would definitely pay a visit to this place whenever I want to do some laptop computer or enjoy some eclectic vibe.
First time in my life that i was not allowed to enter. Seems like Tbilisi has higher standarts than any other place around the globe.
It is NOT gay bar at all! We went to this bar, and askef to the waitress ‘is this gay or gayfriendly bar?’ And she replied ‘no! İf you are looking for gaybar, go to success bar’. And whenever we went there, there was almost nobody, totally empty bar. So, go to any herero bar instead of gallery in Tbilisi. I think this bar is only ‘using’ gayness; norhing more!
Very unfriendly selectors. You come to the entrance they ask to to look up to the camera and than tell you that you reject and the reason is unknown (I got an ID with me).Even though you dress regulary not making any problems and despite the fact that you came to discover the nice city far away from overseas .Not recommended for tourist maybe only for local and I got the same information from other tourist that try to get in .
very good night club and safe . but dont buy drugs from anyone there some people died because of drug overdose in some clubs in georgia some month ago and this place was also among them. but in general its a fun place for people who r a fan of night life.
Amazing drink without a name (ask the bartender- it’s strong, but while you drink it, you can’t feel it.🍌🍍
Good place to grab some beer and have fun. There is also live music. Cozy and friendly staff.
If you can breathe inside, you can have fun. Smoke, bad trip music, scary bodyguards 👎🏼 Needs to develop, otherwise their life will be as long as you can keep your breathe inside.
Great place for lunch, fresh salats and tender BBQ meat
Good music, young crowd, LGBT friendly. Face control in effect so if you have caused problems in the past you wont get in. I once wasnt being let in because I looked like a trouble maker dressed in all black, but then my think American accent got me in the door right away.Lots of smoke inside and drinks are expensive nor cheap. Fun night overall for locals and foreigners.
Trendy crowd place, the service feels a bit laid back. The hummus was good :Some people are smoking cigarettes inside :(
Nice place nice stuff ....So crowded on weekends and a good place to find your type.....Just needs some lighting instruments such as Lazer, flasher etc to meke it more exciting......
Amazing food and great music selection
Music is good but also its crowy and Facecontrol sucks big time
Great club with friendly athomsphere. The upper Café played a marvelous tech Trance house mix. The main club had on a Saturday an entrace fee of 10 GEL and played a hard Psy Trance. Soundsystem is incredible loud, so you may take earmuffs with.
Almost always good electro music parties every Friday and even more often there is a face control and like do whatever you want atmosphere)
Pretty cool place. Really "Berlin" kind of scene - good DJs and good environment. Thats a pity that this similitude is also valid for the smoking friendliness - which in my opinion, doesnt go well with the writing "respect difference" you can see on top of the blackboard (this costs one star for me). Other than that pretty much the best night scene in the Caucasus so far. Keep on going!
Strictly controlled face control , you can buy basically any drug you like, but overall not a bad place for some who likes to get trashed
Music is never bad here. If you want to flee phobias, this is a nice place to crush.
Seemed like a good place, but has a random face control, did not let in my friends (girls!)Went in anyway and has bad DJ (wannabe german techno)Not really worth it, would suggest to go to Bassiani instead or to Lolita
The decoration is simple, but the service is good. One thing that took my attention was that people acted and looked at you in a weird way. But I liked the place. The menu looked exotic.
