Cafe Dolce in Port Maria

First time ordering from this establishment and it was not a good experience. I was very specific with my order and they either completly ignored it, or the chef decided to make the regular order and not cater to my instructions.

Amazing service!!! Amazing people!!! Vibe is nice and is great! Highly recommended breakfast spot. Currently going thru construction. So I had to walk into Kohler store next door.

I wanted somewhere to eat and get work done. They have a spacious set up upstairs however WiFi is limited for an hour. The serving size for me was small but overall the experience wasnt bad

Super nice, very good variety of foods on the menu and I particularly liked that breakfast is available well into the afternoon. Staff are fantastic and make an effort to vary the items in the menu to meet your needs. All in all a spectacular experience with no complaints.

The cashiers unfriendly demeanor made it hard for me to truly enjoy what was an overall good experience. She was mad at God knows what and she was not able to maintain her professionalism.

Nice little chilled spot to have breakfast, overall the food was okay, service was great. Got the mango passion fruit drink, I didnt like it, you are better off going with a drink from the fridge.

This is a cute spot for a working lunch. Very quiet. Especially if you need to be on a zoom meeting and dont want one of those super busy cafes. The barista is a whole vibe. Had us laughing the entire time. Congrats again for winning the barista of the year trophy. The food was good. Had the Mezze bowl which was very filling. Good portion for the price. Only downside was that it was cold. Also had the Cuban panini. The pulled pork was well cooked... just needed some more flavour. To drink was a strawberry cream frozay. Was super creamy even though it had oat milk. A whole Strawberry Milkshake. Will definitely be back for another working lunch and to try other things on the Menu.

Perfect for meetings while having a meal or drink/coffee. The ambiance is perfect for such. The breakfast menu is awesome as well. Highly recommended

The cashier was so delightful! (My receipt says her name is ShaniceFood was lovely. The space has a warm and welcoming vibe, clean and modern. I love the fact that there are power outlets available to charge devices. Theres dining upstairs but I had just went for a quick grab so I didnt see that section, but they offer dining in and take out as well as u can order ahead and just pick up.

My friends and I took our mentor here to celebrate her birthday and the staff made it so great. The food was great, the customer service top notch and the ambiance the perfect icing on the cake.I definitely recommend for any occasion!

Good lunch spot and a nice place to do some work upstairs. Again, this is Jamaica, so don’t expect workers to give off a vibe like they’re happy at work, and give excellent customer service.

Nice set up. Good spot to grab a coffee while shopping at Tile City. There is a seating area upstairs with music, and a few tables downstairs. Nice food options but limited for those who dont eat chicken.

A late start to my birthday, began at around 10:40 am with breakfast with my daughter. Even though set in a Home & Decor store, this spot had its own aura. Excellent menu items, beverages (hot or coldto match food choice and a relaxing mezzanine area set the mood for brunch with my number one girl on my birthday. Service was ok, but an improved attitude from staff would move service delivery review from ok to good and then great, once the attitude continues to improve. NB, not saying bad attitude, just saying an adjustment in the right direction would do business some good. The food/beverage is always on point.

The atmosphere was not really quiet as it is inside a store (Tile City), but the service was good and the food OK. Downstairs you order and there are seating options to wait or have your meal. Upstairs is a bit more intimate but the noise from downstairs is heard upstairs, so it is not quiet. I took my hubs for birthday breakfast. I thought with me telling them this before hand and them saying they will know what to do, that there would be some little frills to the breakfast - but nope. Overall, we would definitely go back.

This café was just lovely right out of the buzz of the city centre sharing building with Tile City... Very courteous staff, relaxing environment, split level dining area upper level offering a balcony view. Seating capacity seemed reduced due to Covid19 restrictions.Tried their Afime branded sweet potato chips infused with rosemary and sea salt I find this was the best tasting flavoured chips from their display. You can try it while you wait on your meal.Main orders were ready in a giphy. Their filling Mexican Salad seemed all Jcan (greens+ beans+ spicy baked chicken breast piecesexcept for sauce which gave it a balanced 😋 taste. BBQ Pulled pork melts panini were also quite tasty. I hate too much sugars in my drink but enjoyed the Hazel nut frozay without feeling like Im drinking high fructose corn syrup. Need a relaxing environment to chill and something proper to munch on while at it... Café Dolce may be up your street.

Cafe Dolce is my favourite coffee house chill spot. Their Chai Tea Latte is the best Ive found around Kingston. The Egg Sammy, Power Sammy & Pulled Pork Panini are all worth having. The split level layout is perfect with downstairs giving a more bustling coffeehouse vibe and upstairs being more private and comfortable. The free wifi is great too if youre looking for a change of scenery from your home office. Their wifi codes work for 2 hours and you can just ask the cashier for another when the time has run out.The Eggnog Latte for Christmas is also the BEST.

Love this place. Great ingredients, decent prices for what you get and just good foodWeird location in the middle of the showroom but that really does not matter, probably end up shopping next door someday from seeing into it

Like most cafes, they always have seasonal treats which I always look forward to. The service is excellent, great coffee and frozen drinks and they serve breakfast all day (Yes! I know!)I recommend going before peak hours for the location is on a road that has heavy traffic during these times.Try the Chai Egg Nog Latte with a shot of expresso that is one of my fav drink

Great setting, lovely coffee and great options. They have the best pumpkin spice latte and their Christmas specials really taste good.Just so you know, its on the same compound as Tile City and Kohler (actually in between both stores). If youre coming from HWT, you will have to make a u-turn by the stoplight at Oaklands and then turn into the Tile City entrance.

I always enjoyed this place! This is the spot I even got engaged! The food is always delicious and the frozays are great! How many places do you know that sells breakfast 24/7! Im a breakfast type of girl so I love it! Other options are also on the menu! You should also try their soup of the day! It is rich in flavour and rich in texture! The one negative I have to say was that the last time I went there their card mschine would not work for me..it was saying IP comm. failed! I am not someone who likes to walk with money and there was no ATM on the compound! Luckily my friends had a little extra cash! So just walk with cash in case their card machine is down! Other wise, the ambiance, food and customer service is great!

Breakfast is served all day, need I say more? Friendly staff, great ambiance, chic decor and awesome food. Great place to have lunch dates and small meetings. Seating is available both upstairs and downstairs. Always a pleasure coming here.

Walking in the first thing you notice is how clean the space is. There is no clutter and yet ample seating and space to walk, run, stand or whatever you want. The menu has what you expect from a cafe (wraps, paninis, pastryplus breakfast options and salads, soups etc all with healthy varieties. The staff is polite and friendly and the venue is suitable for dining and working alone or a small group. The price point is comparative and food portions acceptable.

Well food is over priced. Staff professional but I want friendly, they once served two ladies before us even though we were standing in line first. Sitting down stairs is horrible. Upstairs has a nice lounge. Coffee is OkAy and the eggs tastes good. Wont be going back in a hurry. Hope they continue to train The staff. I dont think a warm greeting when you enter is too much to ask.

The cafe has two different spaces, the one downstairs has coffee tables and the store. The second floor has sofas and I saw many people working with their laptops using the free WiFi.The coffee shop is in the middle of a big tiles store. You can take advantage and visit both.The food is good, although is light food: think of breakfast or brunch. I liked the coffee taste too.Prices are affordable $$

Love this place and go here so often they literally know my name. Highly recommended. Ask Marvin for an "Anika Special" - Coffee Caramel Frozay with Armaretto if you need a pick up for the stressful day ahead.

Ive visited Cafe Dolce many times, to just relax, do work, and conduct business. It is the perfect cafe environment, not too busy, not too loud. They have a wide selection of hot coffee beverages, frozen drinks, and delicious items to eat. The baristas are really friendly and have been very helpful with menu suggestions as I deliberately work through their beverage options.Having to get a WiFi pass-code every two hours and very limited power outlets is the only downfall. I definitely recommend that you visit Cafe Dolce at least once!

My first time trying this place. The coffee was OK. The meal wasnt that great. Another customer said the Mexican salad is the best so will try that next time.

Cafe Dolce is my new go to coffee shop when Im visiting Kingston Jamaica. Although the blue mountain coffee is pricey, the service definitely makes up for it.

Relaxing atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Coffee is top notch in both taste and presentation. The Smoked Salmon Bagel is delicious! Free WIFI for 2 hours per customer! Easily one of my favorite places to grab a coffee and get some work done!

Staff on 11/10/2018 were so unprofessional that I found them to be rather repulsive. The scenery was nice but the staff ruined it so much that I could not bare to stay inside. Staff huddled in a corner murmuring and laughing when we greeted them. We ordered 4 different flavors of their cold beverages and they where bad they use too much ice so all you could taste was water and sugar. Maybe things would have been better with a different staff and time.

I think this place is a bit over rated but has potential.Firstly the staff act as though everyone who comes through the door is familiar with the place and how it operates. There is seating there to the front before you even get to the cashier and there is no one there to greet you or even ask dining or take out. They just sit around and chat.I decided to dine upstairs and had to ask if i could leave my tab open as it was my first time and i wanted to try few things. They told me its not usually done but they would go ahead this time 🤨.The bacon that came with my order was literally 2 tiny strips like whats the point of serving bacon if by the time you take 2 bites its finished and you are left to eat pancakes or what ever you ordered by it self ? Where is portion control especially when its sold together ???Taste wise it wasnt bad but nothing to write home about.The coffee was good.Prices are a bit high especially for the lil bacon ...i wont stop stressing it.The decor is really nice though.Not sure i like the idea of The entrance through Tile city either. Cafe Dolce has so much potential if they were in a nicer unit with better staff and better servings.

If you are in search of good coffee, great food and great personalities, this is a nice little spot. You are able to call in your order or just walk in. The service is exceptional, consistent and timely.

The staff here was very attentive professional and warm. However, there is little to be desired where the serving portion is considered for breakfast. Was my 1st time here and heard so much about the place; but i actually left disappointed and hungry (and i am not one to eat large portions)

I always think that staffing can make or break your business. It’s scary! I love the food here but the staff need some training. The owners need to do some mystery shopping/eating and see what service they get. I came in and asked if upstairs was empty. The first employee said “I am not sure” so I ask him if I should climb the stairs to check. He answered yes. Now I have a bad knee, didn’t want to go up to come back down. Ok, next employee! Same answer. Wow. I guess no one is going to go look for me. That service definitely needs to be fixed!!

Great ambience, nice cafe vibe, good menu. Salads,coffee, pastries ect.
