Cafe Chill in Batticaloa

I visited this place first because of the positive Google reviews. After that I used to visit there every time I visits Batticaloa. Now it is pretty bad and I wouldnt recommend the place to anyone. The quality of the food and customer service is horrible. I understand it is hard to do business due to the economic crisis. My last visit to the place was and will be my last visit to the place due to the bad experiences I had. I thought of sharing my experience for 3 reasons. 1. Inform individuals who are interested in going there 2. The owners of the place take my review seriously and take action 3. Encourage others to share their recent experiences.I ordered a burger with extra cheese+but no extra cheese not complaining for that even( burger size is very small compared to earlier. No complaints about that I understand the economic crisis should be the one to be blamed). The problem was the bread was soaked and uneatable. It was literally like being soaked in water. Unfortunately I didnt take a photo to share here. If anyone sees it they will never visit your place. It was that bad. I asked the lady who served very politely if there was anything wrong with the burger. She said she will check but never returned. I didnt want a refund. But the simple single word "Sorry" is too much to expect? At least learn simple decency. I ordered chicken nuggets, it was also overcooked.If you really want to keep your loyal customer base and sustain your business please learn to respect customers. We have plenty of other options and we choose your place for a reason.

We have enjoyed visiting this cafe when we are in batticoloa every February for the past 3 years. The atmosphere is relaxed with great service and good music. The coffee/tea and cold drinks are all good and served with a smile. A really nice place for both locals and tourists.

Cafe chill is one of the most visited cafe by the local civilians. The juice here is great.....loved it.

Wifi is good, food is OK, lime juice is really good. Its a nice Cafe but the personal isnt really into speaking with foreigners. Felt conformable to speak with me. I felt a bit wrong in this place

Love the decor of the place... gives off a certain southern beach vibe! Reminds of Unawatuna and hikkaduwa for some odd reason...Good place to have a snack and a drink and just CHILL! 😎🤘🍔☕️

Classic cafe in batticaloa,Best place for ice creams,soft drinks etc.

This is the only place in Batticaloa city where you can have a good coffee and chill. Given the area, this a faily decent place. Obviously one cant expect Colombo level class here but this is not bad

I have been here most of times. but yesterday i had a Mojito and im really amazed. mojito they have better than KFCs Mojito and i really enjoyed their food too..

Very cool place. It was initally closed on the day we got there but luckily the owner saw us and opened up the cafe anyways. Cute place with hip interior. Very low prices for great milkshakes and snacks. Super friendly people.

We stopped here for lunch between Trinco and Arugambay. Very good burgers and friendly staff. European taste! After eating curry for days, this really tasted good :-)Many nice and chill tables to choose from.Parking spots in the front for tuktuk and motorcycles.

It is a nice environment with a vintage look and a quiet place to relax and have a varaiaty of drinks on their menu. Best french fries in town. Most of their products are freshly made. Specially the only place that serves cappaccino and various coffee in Batticaloa.
