Cafe Ango - Cafe in Vientiane, Laos
Love this place. Amazing fruit bowls.
Good food with excellent service. Calm atmosphere, good for chilling and chatting with friends. Love the match ice cream
We had a wonderful dinner here with great vegetarian food!
Amazing food! arrive early
its all right I enjoyed the katsudon. The restaurant is small, but when I visited in the evening, there were 3 or more reserved seats. It was full at dinner time. Food prices range from 50,000 to 70,000 kip per person. I dont think Ive seen the restaurants parking lot, but theres a night market nearby, so its difficult to park.
Homie cafe and restaurant, have wifi, free drinking water, friendly staff. Food is so so for me. Food come with big portion.
One of the best restaurants in Vientiane with very good food.
What a gorgeous little place with fantastic food. If I would have known this place earlier I would have come more often. Food is super delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. Well done 👍
I came here first 5 years ago and whenever I come to Laos visit here. I am so happy that they survived thru Covid. The food is simple and healthy. However, I was surprised that the food was so salty this time.Sometimes communication in English is not good. Still, my cozy and comfortable place in Vientiane, Laos.
Shake fruit is yummy 😋
My favorite place in town, for many reasons: delicious food, nice atmosphere, best coffee served in lovely Japanese handmade clay cups, desserts but most importantly I just love chat with the owner Hiroshi.I usually go there with my little daughter and I feel like Im visiting a friend at home - atmosphere is so welcoming and safe for baby.
Nice place, but feel a little too tight here
Excellent food. The smoothies are also very tasty. A big issue is that the ventilation is not good, so the entire restaurant smells strongly of food. Every time I eat there, I end up smelling like katsu sauce for the rest of the day.
Lovely cafe/restaurant. It’s Japanese-style, so you leave your shoes outside and then sit on cushions on the floor to eat! The food and drinks are great. And of course the desserts! I recommend this place.
Delicious food! Love everything on the menu. Drinks and desserts is 3.5-4/5 for me. But I’m mainly there for the food and quiet atmosphere anyways. Staffs and owner are caring and very quiet.
My favorite restaurant in vientiane. Delicious and healthy food. Coffee also great. You can find lovely handicarft product(jewelry, pouch, coaster, chopsticksas well.
I love the place! So cozy, homey, and lovely. I had spice pork curry and they’re not bad at all, i would definitely love to try katsu laap don next time. I also had cold zenzai, love their mochi! But matcha mochi have bitter taste to them.
Food is delicious and reminds you of home, with vegetarian options. Owners are very friendly
Chill place, good food and nice hang out 😁 cozy
It was a relief to walk into this place on a hot day. Friendly. Understated. Good food.
Amazing food, service, atmosphere and overall hospitality. The meal was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Super accomodating for vegetarians, and really friendly service. Cute Japanese style seating and the menu is a handmade piece of artwork. a bit more expensive than other places, but worth every cent 😊
This place is a restaurant/cafe own by a lovely Japanese couple. The food they serve is kind of a fusion between Laos/Thai/Japanese. Very tasty and ingredients are good quality and fresh. Also portion is quite big. Great service especially the lady was lovely. The ventilation could be improve because the when they cook, the smell of food from the kitchen is very strong and your hair end up smelling like curry when you leave the place.
This Japanese cafe has great lunches. I particularly like the bean curry, laap katsu, and avocado chicken rice. Highly recommend their drinks, too!
Cappuccino is so tasty!!!!Unfortunately the matcha cake had a cheesy flavor and was very dry. Bean Curry was good and the staff is also nice!
Very nice and lovely Café, with delicious food and absolute tasty coffee. It’s also a roasterie and they’re selling also the fresh roasted coffee beans. The sweats are also super delicious, just the portions are a little bit to small, especially for the curry. But except that, it’s a lovely place to relax and have good food. The owner and staff are very friendly.
Cosy, friendly place run by a super kind Japanese couple. Food and drinks are very good. Love to come back each time I am in town.
Awesome food menus including vegetarian and vegan options and fabulous drinks with relaxed vibe and super friendly staff. Gem and epic.
Awesome place, super friendly Japanese owner. Great matcha tea.
Fabulous place! The barista (ownerhas light, medium and dark roasts on offer. We had a filter from medium roasted beans from southern Laos and it was absolutely tremendous! Interior of the cafe is very cozy and neat and makes you feel you stepped through the door into Japan.
Excellent Café. Great food, beverage, ambient and service.
Tasty Japanese minimalist cooked dishes, using organic/green local produce
One of the best cafes in Vientiane. Curry chicken and chicken sour there. The quality of dish is epic. Their dessert is so good as well. There are limited seats available tho, so make sure you reserve a table prior to your visit. Highly recommended
Vary good cafe in Laos. Matcha latte is same taste as original in Japan.
Very nice restaurant with really friendly staff and excellent food!
This is one of the cutest corner cafes I have ever visited. The mix of cultural staples and fresh ingredients made our experience that much more fruitful. The sense of community that is fostered in this little place makes one feel at home, not to mention the food is phenomenal, perfect for anyone with dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free etc.).
This has to be one of the top eaterys to have a meal in VTE! The food is always simple and delicious!!!
Peaceful and quiet place in the central quarters of town. The owners are lovely. They have some great vegan and vegetarian options on the menu.
Wonderful environment small, clean and very nice real japanese stylish restaurant. Staff and management is japanese however they do speak english. Soundtrack music is soft and nice. Menu rich of japanese food and drinks as well as sweets. Ambiance is relaxing and delicious.
so cozy and well organized. I like there space so much! I can feel good combination of Japan & Lao style. Good place, nice food, kind staffs.
Very peaceful Japanese place. Very relaxing. The food is also nice but a bit pricey for the quantity.I guess its part of the concept as there is only 4 tables and they take care of every little details.I like to go there once in a while for a change. The owners are very nice
Superb coffee, good food and a nice atmosphere. The strong drip coffee was prepared to perfection.
Cozy, very tasteful dinner sets, tasty homemade passionfruit soda. Quiet atmosphere. We were here with a toddler and baby and staff was very child friendly. Will come back to taste the sweets.
Very nice place with a good homemade gingerale. A perfect place to relax and enjoy Vientiane!
Everything was nice here, first the environment, second the cleanliness, the food and drinks.Although the pricing is a little concern, and the service could have been a little better.
There are healthy and delicious food here. Wifi is fast also.
Love the cozy details, floor seating, and delightful drinks and food menu!
Super cute restaurant owned and run by Japanese expats. Incredible drink menu and equally great food. Cute decor with a lot of effort in the detail. Could not recommend more.
Amazing place, food is very very well done , fantastic atmosphere, super friendly staff, drink and food menu is very interesting, good for vegetarian and vegan.Everything is so accurate but very simple.Nice and different option from everything aroundHighly raccomended
Excellent food with excellent service at reasonable prices. Good wifi. Interesting drinks menu too. Possibly the best restaurant I’ve been to in Laos.
Perfect place to chill after a yoga class kind of vibe. Simple but delicious food and really nice staff.
