Caeser's Pub & Grill in Calais

Friendly pub in basement of hotel. Laid back and comfortable spot. We both ordered the lobster roll and we were not disappointed. Big chunks of tender lobster with hardly anything else. Served with a side of mayo so you can add to suit your own taste. Perfect balance of flavors! Friendly service, highly recommend!

Great food and great atmosphere. Very chill pub vibe during the week. Pool table and jukebox for music selection. Staff is always amazing as well.

Ordered the Seafood chowder as it sounded great. None available. The the haddock chowder to compare to the restaurant next door. None available. Then ordered the Lobster roll (available). It was great. Multiple claws, not over seasoned, and let the lobster shine. Service was a bit slow, but I didnt notice with the conversation I had with another table. It would have been a 5 star if they didnt have my first 2x choices missing from their menu.

This use to be the best place in town for wings. Massive room for improvement.I miss the old Caesars Pub & Grill.

The food here was AWFUL! The one exception was the rolls. They were awesome. I was there for a wedding reception. The stuffed chicken was edible, but not like one would expect at a restaurant. Its what you might make at home from a recipe on the back of a box of stuffing mix, except at least those recipes usually have additions to the stuffing mix. It was tender, which was likely due to being baked in canned gravy. I have no idea what they passed off as roast beef. It was stacked neatly and obviously was deli roast beef, but not nearly as good. It didnt look, taste or smell like roast beef. The roasted carrots would have had potential if theyd had some type of seasoning even if was just a sprinkle of salt. I like veggies firm, but these were raw. It would have been nice to have serving utensils on the fruit and cheese platters, and the small paper plates ran out after the first 25-30 guests. I requested tings or forks for the unimpressive platters and some more plates. They never brought them. I am not a fan of McDonalds, but if youre ever in that area, I assure you that it would be a much better option.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about, oh wait yes I do. You were there in prime season, wanted to be served right now. Wrong, short staffed, still. Should have been open till midnight. Closed at 22:00. Am I upset, no why cause I got a couple of hours of adult time. TO THE STAFF THAT SERVED ME TONIGHT. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. IF Im ever back up this way I will be back. You are a blessing on a cold night on the border.

I tried to order dinner via over the phone to pick up and drive home to eat with my friends and family, the women that was on the phone was extremely and unreliably rude and offensive. I did not deserve to be spoken to in that horrible manner. Her behavior and attitude towards me was absurd, ridiculous and uncalled for.

Pizza was really good. Plenty of waitresses to take orders and serve. The establishment was very clean and the prices were average for a place like this.

Best pizza in the entire state of Maine. I drive up from Massachusetts And make sure I stop there just to get the pizza. That ought to tell you a lot. I give it a 5.

Ate at this restaurant our first night we arrived at the motel. Food was ok not great just ok. Decided to give it another try again tonight and this time didnt even get our food if you are not seating at the bar you dont exist. Will not be trying this place again ever.

We did not get an opportunity to try their food. Walked in, went to the bar area (with masks on, there was not a line or anyone else at the barto wait direction on which tables were available to sit at, 3 waitresses looked at us and did not say hello nor offer direction just continued with what they were doing and walked away. So we chose a table, where then we sat as multiple waitresses walked by and again did not offer a menu or even acknowledge us. We assumed being attached to a motel they are use to out of towners but it was far from a warm welcome. Needless to say, after a short time of not even being acknowledged, we left.

Disapointed wings were suppose to be garlic parmesan but were preety much plain overcooked had to ask for blue cheese dressing 4 times and they gave cream cheese. Had to ask again way to much chit chatting employees

Paid $20 on $18 tab. Then was charged on my credit card a $29 tab for 2.drinks because first bartender didnt believe I paid first tab or something. Not sure. This is why Josh Thornton is the smart one not leaving his house.

Waitress was great. Place was busy. Wings good but cold. Plates frigid. Friends sandwich cold. No need despite a cold night to have ice cold plates = cold food.
