Jaffa St 208, Jerusalem, Israel, Jerusalem
Set on a bustling street in the city center, this modern hotel with a brick facade is a 6-minute walk from Central Station, 4 km from the 9th-century Al-Aqsa Mosque and 6 km from the Western Wall pilgrimage site.Relaxed rooms feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges, along with tea and coffeemaking facilities.A breakfast buffet (fee) is served in a relaxed kosher restaurant. Other amenities include a synagogue, and a seasonal rooftop pool with a sundeck and city views. Off-street parking is complimentary.
Very good hotel in Jerusalem.
very noisy lots of teenagers hanging around all night
Very good fantastic hotel.
Very good hotel,thanks.
Pictures are totally edited/photoshopped. Elevators weren’t functional when we got there, hallways and rooms had swarms of flies everywhere, shower had significant leak. Bed was little more than a sheet on top of box springs. Only saving grace was the dinner. Strongly recommend Google reviews this hotel for adding their own fake positive reviews.
Excellent and price good.
Excellent hotel a d service
Price location and service excellent.
Excellent hotel,very good.
Very good hotel in jerusalem.
One of the worst costumer service I ever encountered. Room was dirty. Hair in bathroom, on bed, blood stains on sheets and cold water at shower. Took forever to check in. Breakfast poor and old fashioned, not a single fresh fruit. When I returned from breakfast at 09:30 to my room I found they threw away all my belongings to the trash (!??!!!!), Meaning my clothes, scarf, toothpaste &brush, chocolates and cookies I bought. When I faced the cleaner he was mocking me and laughing, saying its not a big deal... Check out is at 11 and I only went for breakfast. They bought me a new toothpaste, and offered free lunch and to stay in the room until 15, which was impossible for me to stay. When I checked out they asked me to pay extra taxes although I was never asked before. I know for a fact that even if a costumer leaves and forget something in the room, they are supposed to keep the stuff and attempt to contact him. Mocking, bullying staff, extremely impolite, agressive and rude. u would recommend to take a hostel and eat a good breakfast at another hotel, and keep the change. Worst money ever spent. The most unpleasant attitude I ever faced in any hotel anywhere around the world. Rude and discriminating. (Im disabled).
Not a good place to quarantine. Have to remind them for food every meal.Only was delivered one extra towel, no water even when I call many times, etc. They have taken my belongings left in front of my door numerous times.Fine to stay for a night or two, but not for quarantine
Very good price and service.
Nice staff, good food, and good value!
Sharon - the worker from this hotel was really mean on the phone. She hangup on me and when I called back because I havent received an answer for my question, she yelled at me and hang up again.(As the story goes, I received hotels number and was told that Ukrainian Jewish people that ran away from the war with nothing and that made aliyah needed some basic things like medicine, clothes and help with their first steps in Israel.)So Sharon not only behaved in a really unprofessional manner, but also denied help to new repatriates-refugees from Ukraine.
Wonderful caring front desk.Sharon took care of me and I even had help from Shai the CEO of the hotel. So unusual to get personal attention in such a big hotel.
Excellent and wanderful, nice price, the beat location,Thanks .
Recommend hotel in Jerusalem,Great breakfast and dinner.Thanks.
Comfortable accommodations, very friendly helpful staff, location excellent, near Machane Yehudah, Central bus station , ,Rechov Yaffo,,I would definitely stay here again .
Great hotel with awesome room services. Good food and close to a lot of groceries stores.
Good location (3 minutes from the Central bus station)(by the tram station )(5 minutes to the market place(7 minutes on the tram to the Old city )..foods good.."peoples hotel"..
This is exactly what I was looking for. Great location on route of public transport. Very clean, great food and super helpful staff. Well done … will definitely come again
Friendly staff, great breakfast and very centrally situatedNice roof top poolGood free WiFiLight trail stop outside hotelHighly recommendFree parking in additional
0 stars would be more apt. Leak coming from ceiling when we came in. Management was annoyed we asked them to fix it and after 3 days our floor was still flooded. Bugs flying everywhere. Room was not clean. Everything seemed to be falling to pieces and no one seemed to care. You’re better off sleeping on the street
Great experience! The whole family enjoyed a relaxing vacation at the Caesar hotel in Jerusalem. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable, the food was delicious and fresh, and the best part is the location of the hotel- close to the market and many more prime locations and places to see.
Brought a group here in 2017...quality has decreased in almost every way. Cold "hot" breakfast food, overcrowded dining room, very poor pressure on showers, old rooms, very poor sound insulation in rooms...
We enjoyed Caesar very much. The location is excellent, right next to the train station and the citys major attractions. The room was clean and roomy.I would like to praise Sharon from the reception who was very kind and helpful. She explained us nicely and patiently about the hotel services and Jerusalems attractions. We will definitely come back when we visit Jerusalem again.
Caesar was good, bed was not impressive because the double beds were made of 2 single bed set together. Not good for couples. Good for sharing. Not too bad spot.
We had a beautiful stay at this very lovely and cozy hotel. It was walking distance to the bus station, walking distance to the shuk and local shops. The staff were so nice and helpful. We had a very please take stay.
This is a 4 star hotel, I would give a 0 star if there is an option. but staff are not very helpful and rude. Got a missing luggage, it took SOOOO MUCCCHHH effort to try to get them to help! It turns out the luggage was misplaced by the staff in the wrong room. They refused to help us, until the tour guide asked. We had to go through room by room, after 10pm, knocked on the door to look for the misplaced luggage. We had to give up hours of rest because the staff made the mistake and refusing to help.
Nice comfy hotel, with gift shop. Great selection of food, I thought the beef was the best Id ever tasted😋 We arranged a wake up call every morning and there was no issues at all. Could have stayed longer. A bit of a walk from city center though.
This hotel is NOT four stars. It’s very old and the food is below average. I don’t think this hotel would get more than one star if it was rated by AAA.
We had a delicious dinner here on the first day of Succoth. The food was amazing, the wait staff were wonderful! It was an honor to be a part of such a celebration!
Great Human service!!But just...Very low hotel quality.Food is between middle to low.Hotel is very old.Room and hallway smells because of old wall to wall carpet.Room furnitures laid in hallway.Location: a bit far from popular tourist places, but very close to light rail station.View: old, lower class back side buildings located in few meters of every window in any side of the hotel.
Room smell of charra and cigarette. Broken wood on floor. Nothing clean, not toilet paper, not dishes in hall. I had to eat outside like dog, but plenty of seat inside. Food good.
Free wifi on all floors and in rooms, nice swimming pool but a tad small , good food and large spare rooms to hold group activities. Lacks a gym/ work out facility but overall good place to stay.
I cant get over just how unpleasant the entire staff are at the hotel. I have no idea what sort of bribe was worked out with Trip Advisor to give the place 4-5 stars. The staff act like the most remedial and easy tasks are just exhausting and back breaking labor. My friends room key was deactivated and they acted as though it required them to walk on hot coals to fix it for them. The towels seem like something you would find in the trash outside of a 24 hour fitness. The beds are mediocre at best. Bathroom is tiny. The hotel bar is open at night but you wouldnt know it because of the fact that the bar tender sits in a small nook out of sight watching tv so he doesnt have to deal with people trying to buy a drink.
The stay was ok. However, one of the rooms 2 of our tour members stayed in had a terrible smell. The person who cleaned the room in the morning should have reported it or tried to do something to the stench.
Clean. Quiet tourist Hotel. Beds Are a little hard and there is no exercise room. Very pleasant staff. Comfortable. Would stay there again.
The hotel caters to basics needs well, providing 3 meals daily. Though there isnt a wide variety of food to choose from, it was still delicious. The rooms are decent, I stayed in a 3 person room. There is a closet space and a safe. The shower also doesnt take long to heat up and has good pressure which was really nice.
I liked it, beds were comfortable for a budget hotel. I found the for interesting and except for the last day very good, so the breakfast on the last day was disappointing scrambled eggs soggy and didnt taste nice at all, so I tried tge boiled eggs and they were over boiled, therefore black on the inside. Shame it would have been 5 stars otherwise.
Hotel is pretty old and low on maintenance.l, something you might expect considering the price.Double bed in room is actually two single beds, where you cannot sleep in the middle.Old radio system inside the bed commode kept making a white noise sound all night without the ability to stop it. Mini fridge also made it hard to sleep throughout the night. Air-conditioning is great.Bathroom is more hostel-like. Very low water flow, human hair in the towels.Breakfast was great, better than average 4stars European hotel. Then again, comparing to Israeli hotel breakfast standards its a 7.Good location, easy access and parking.I went alone, would never come with my wife. When I go to an hotel I want it to be more luxury than my home. At least in some of the parameters. I assume a better option would be an apartment.
visiting Caesar again this week.....happy to relate that every guest is treated the same at Reception - as if they are the most important guest to register....that seems to set the tone for the stay,,,,,,,,very nice to be treated with such manners and kindness when you eat in the dining room - always treated with a gracious smile....all in all - I know we are only two of Caesar guests - but everyone is greeted with that special touch - including housekeeping - maintenance and everyone connected to Caesar - that helps make our Israel trip so special (each visit)
The hotel is alright, but the staff are just incredibly rude. They literally yell at the guests and actively resent being talked to or asked for help. Its astonishing. Everything is what it is, and good luck if you have any questions or actually need help with something.
The roof top pool is very nice with the extra shade. The rooms were nice. Breakfast was a little lacking but very good desserts, bread and fruit
Bloody mattresses left in the hallway for days, flies coming out of the ceilings, nasty front desk workers and management, disgusting meals with hair, crusted tissues in the drawer, and dangerous sharp metal racks in the ceiling. This place is an absolute den of disgust. TERRIBLE for those that observe Shabbat. If you do not get a key before Shabbat they will not give it to you because they say there is danger of the workers breaking into the room (according to the front desk worker). This place is terrible. BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.
WiFi is extremely poor. Meals arent super vegetarian friendly, dont expect a good entree. Occasionally there are no vegetarian entrees. Management isnt friendly either, they are unhelpful, and rude.
Stuff in this hotel is very nice, the hotel also is very comfortable. However it is little hard to sleep because of working air condition (you can turn off this one in your room, However you still hear the other ones)
Room may be a little small, but Im by myself. Just right! And they probably have bigger rooms and suites available. 😊 The staff has treated me right. Kinda hard to spot the turn-in off the main street at night, but worth the effort.
On arrival at the hotel all we wanted was a cold shower and rest but unfortunately we discovered that the shower head was broken and we had to wait until replacement arrived. But this was not the last of serious malfunctions, breakfasts were disappointing, mildly stated, with food and drinks that couldn’t be identified. Also we discovered to our surprise that the swimming pool will be closed all day long. The biggest disappointment we experienced was the day we left th hotel, we woke up, my wife and our son early to enjoy the swimming pool which was supposed to open at 10. We showed up at the appointed time, but the pool door was locked, after waiting a few minutes I went to our room and called the reception and was told that "the guy is probably in the toilet and will arrive shortly" ... After waiting 15 min’ I personally went down to the lobby and brought it to the attention of the hotel staff but was treated in a derogatory way by the staff. Beyond the humiliation, disappointment and waste of time we were also dismissed by the hotel staff. Save yourself the heartbreak and find a different hotel to stay in while visiting Jerusalem.
