Suites add pull-out sofas, wet bars and hot tubs. There's also room service.Complimentary perks include cocktails in the casino, and daily coffee in the lobby, plus parking. Everyone from valet was very helpful. Appreciated the help when my hands were full helping the person I was supporting. She enjoyed everything especially the gambling area.
When we are in the area, this is where we hang out. Good selection of table games and slots. Several of choices for dining. They have a lovely outdoor area with a couple of firepits. All in all, just a great place to hang out.
I would like to begin by saying that i have stayed here maybe 5 times over the year some times in the spring hill suites and a time in the double tree and all those other times i didnt have one complaint, but for some reason this experience last night leading all the way through checkout was horrible.confirmation #92764041earlier yesterday I called the double tree reservations and made a reservation and during this conversation I specifically asked if I didnt want to park in the underground parking would i have to pay the 14.95 parking fee.Later after checking in we then proceeded to go to guadalajaras, I tell you no lie, I have only seen this type of stuff in movies. WE FOUND GLASS IN MY SONS FOOD!!!!!!!!!! !! After bringing it to the gentlemen hosts attention. He went to the back and came out saying they found the guilty party and it was a glass bowl with glass bumps on the bottom and one had broken off. I was totally understanding at this point. He comped my son meal only. I still was cool, calm , and collected. I didnt want anything free, but if thats what he wanted to do thank you. After all this when i went to check out with a Ms Zoe or however you spell it at the double tree desk would not hear my reasoning with the parking fee. She just tried to explain the situation by checking on reservation and then explained the discount card was to off set the parking fee.Look I didnt come to this casino to get free stuff. I just want this place to operate exactly as its supposed to and do what is agreed upon, and the parking fee was just the cherry on the cake. If my son would have ingested that glass the size of a dime with sharp edges he could of died. But yall got your parking fee right?Last night
Most of the employees we interacted with were very nice. We were purchasing some items from the gift shop and Liv was so nice. However the man working with her at the counter, large guy with a loud voice wish I had gotten his name, was horribly rude to us. Liv was embarrassed and tried to cover for him. Left us with a bad taste in our mouth. Not likely to come back.
Great resort and casino. Nice and upscale building.
Clean, small, non smoking casino with convenient hotels attached.
They allow people to touch you and when you ask people to stop touching you they ask you to leave , because asking people not to make you uncomfortable makes a scene.
Not the best place but seeing its pretty much the only decent sized casino in these parts parts maybe worth it to stop to take a leak
My Wife and I enjoyed going to Cadillac Jack’s been twice so far
Nice place, great slots, craps table was hot!!
Valet parking got ink marks on my husband’s show car leather seat. His Camaro is flawless and immaculately clean and preserved. We don’t chance bring anything into the Camaro that might cause damage or risk an accidental mishap like a pen. I can only assume the person who parked or brought back the car had left the pen open in they’re pocket and it poked though and marked the seat unless it was done on purpose but either way we’re very upset someone was so carless with something so obviously cared for. You’d think it just left the dealership. Its in brand new car condition and we work hard to keep it that way.I’m just disappointed we made the decision to trust valet when we’d rather park ourselves. The parking lot was full and we figured valet would be fine. Big mistake!
Exceptional customer service from Chuck who helped us get our room last minute after a scheduling error on our part. Kind, professional, and even laughed at my dad’s cheesy jokes.Love that it’s just a short walk from historic Main Street in Deadwood and the trail system. Right across the street from the trolley stop if you don’t want to walk, too. Room was clean with comfortable beds, was very quiet even late on a Saturday Night! Didn’t play slots this visit but there’s a lot of machines on the casino level to suit many different tastes. We got discounts on the restaurants in the building which was a nice touch! The AC in our room had an easy to use thermostat and easily removable filters to give it an extra clean for those like me with bad allergies. Has a Starbucks downstairs which is great to not have to sustain with only the in room coffee ;All staff we interacted with were pleasant and kind.
Great placeNice rooms good food great atmosphere
The beds are completely worn-out and uncomfortable. The breakfast was horrible, no real milk no real food or meat, no pastries, no creamer for your coffee. Paying over $200. Per night youd expect better. Unacceptable🤬
Won a good bit here!! Nice little place, good food options as well!
What a wonderful get away. My husband and I were truly impressed with every single employee we met at Cadillac Jacks, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The property was absolutely spotless. Warner was exemplary in his position as casino host, he added so much to our already amazing visit. We are already planning our next trip back. Absolutely outstanding!!!! Thank you all!! Laura and Mike
Horrible bartender not sure his name but I have awards from liv and governor awards for customer service I moved back and they went to dirt in customer service
Clean place, good variety of machines. Amanda who use the bar manager, Brian, and Sam are so awesome. Very great bartenders, fun to talk to, and makes you feel "at home" Definitely a great bar to drink at.. plus they have a great variety of liquor to choose from and they have a blender!!!!!
Best casino to gamble at in deadwood! The free drinks come around the fastest, the casino floor looks the most clean, and the people working there are the friendliest! I dont go anywhere else! Highly recommend
Always a good stop when coming through Deadwood but it’s a bit of a hike from the Historic Street. The restaurant looks like a hip high end place but it’s food is more akin to a small town cheap steakhouse. Except for slots and Starbucks, nothing really opens till 8am so if you want to wake up early to eat or play table games you’re out of luck till 8am. Springfield suites offers their own continental breakfast which is open earlier. Poker room, craps, roulette, and card games. Never been too crowded.
I was severely injured at the pool, resulting in shattered elbow, surgery and now disabled and in debt, and of course absolutely now help or comp from Canalis jacks. Truly a Flippin fan nightmare.
The stay, parking, swimming, gaming staff, and night life was Awesome bringing in 2022! For two morning breakfast meals the lady was very rude to me, business etiquette was not her main goal. The front desk lady almost took me down, she thought I stole a bag of chips!
I recently booked Cadillac Jacks for my son and his fiance as a gift. Except I forgot some key details. The staff not only fixed the problem, which again was my mistake, but they actually improved the situation. What an unbelievably kind experience! This is my go to place!
We have been coming here for years. Paid $250 to stay last night which we typically only come on nights where we get a promotional rate. This morning was getting breakfast at the Springhill Suites and was there at 9:30. We had our small children with us. There was plenty of food left but the employee said “hurry up I have to lock up this room” and rushed us out the door. My children wanted a waffle but we didn’t have time to make one. We will NEVER come back to Cadillac Jacks or any of the 3 hotels. Don’t appreciate how our children were treated. We will tell our friends from Gillette to never stay here again. Thank you.
Absolute awful service. We had no idea you got complimentary beverages while gambling and we thought what a win that is. However, the bartenders and waitresses take forever to bring you “free drinks” - we got so tired of waiting 30+ minutes or not even getting your drink at all…every time we ordered that we started walking up to the bar and the bartenders were just rude and would walk away and not even finish taking your order. I think the manager really needs to prioritize areas waitresses go so this place has happy customers. Everyone complained about beverages and food taking forever.
What an absolute bust. So disappointing. The hotels are nice, but the Guatelejaras inside was subpar, at best. While the casino is flashy, it’s payouts are extremely low - if you track your odds, they’re extremely far off, so much so it can begin to make you speculate.I am not an avid gambler, but do enjoy it from time to time. They handful of times I’ve gone gambling, I have not had an experience this poor. If I’m going to spend this much, I’ll wait for Vegas next time.
Great casino to hang out at. If are looking for a resort casino this is a great one. They have onsite bars motels and several great places to eat. We came here from another resort that we did not like. Came for a meal and ended up calling to get a room while we were there and stayed the night in one of Cadillac Jacks motels instead. Thanks for the great time.
Horrible and unprofessional staff in the Springhill Marriott. Stay elsewhere. Management is just as unprofessional. If you have a issue that you want addressed they will not speak you they will reply with a computer generated text to tell you that you are no longer welcome at cadillac jacks gaming resort.
Nice staff and the facility was clean. It does however, have to many old slot machines. I would like to see more newer updated machines. We would have stayed an extra night if that might have been the case. lastly it takes way to much time to wait for a free drink so. I ended up having to buy like 5 of my own. During the holidays I would suggest getting more help, because the staff on the floor always checked in but by the time they came back many gamblers left to other machines. Oh, I Loved, the non-smoking policy
Well my husband and I came to spend our 28th wedding anniversary there something different. We stayed here one other time and never had to pay for parking!!! Prolly wont be staying here again. Might just as well stay with at our usual spot. Other than that we love coming here. Casino employees are really nice.
Had a pretty good time here... lost more money than I won... always wanted to stop in and check this place out.., workers were very pleasant and the place was pretty clean.. bathrooms as well... enjoyed myself and will definitely come back and try my luck again..
When I arrived at Cadillac Jacks I was treated like royalty. There was a nice variety of machines available to play and the same can be said of the table games. After playing a bit on the machines I met Shawn in the table games pit who was kind enough to set me up with a room without me even asking. Both of the dealers I had were pleasant and genuine. The room was in phenomenal condition, and Ill definitely be playing and staying here again!
We were on a casino trip, staying at casinos in Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Las Vegas (MGM), Colorado and Deadwood. Cadillac Jacks was by far, the best experience! The rooms were super clean and very nice. The staff were excellent. The casino perks were great! Loved our stay, cant wait to go back!
Beautiful newly remodeled rooms....feels like Vegas. Britton & Michael welcomed us and the entire Staff were just so accommodating and friendly. Swimming pool and hot tub area is clean and beautiful. Just such a special place to stay!
As a former Las Vegan, all the casinos in Deadwood seem charmingly small and quaint, which is not a negative to me--I detest Las Vegas. Cadillac Jacks is the largest and most modern, I believe, but it is still tiny to those used Nevada casinos, which again, was a positive for me. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable-not-luxurious rooms, and a very good breakfast buffet in a nice little dedicated restaurant area made me have not a single complaint with the place for the three nights I was there. What makes this hotel superior to others, is its location: it is pretty much the last building on the main drag of Deadwood (not to be confused with the other road in Deadwood). If one wants to explore anything in the area besides Deadwood, and one has vehicle to drive five min into town, this is the place to stay so that one does not get caught in the Deadwood traffic--like I said, basically two roads--Cadillac Jacks is a great option. We were very happy being just a little bit removed from the center of town.
it said online $50 for a room so i call to make a reservation, the lady tells me it will be $78 i said it was fine. Then she pretends her computer crashes then she says it will be $50. I get to the room it is extremely dirty mirrors arent clean carpet everything you can see has not been wiped down. I leave the next day with a bill of $78.
WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN. Called over the phone to make a reservation and was told that I could get a decently priced room for $49.99 along with one of their gamblers packages. This included $20 food voucher and $30 gaming credit that costs you a total of $35. Lady on the phone told us our total with taxes included was suppose to be $89.60. Check in and I am getting charged $120 and I ask a man at the front desk that this is not what the lady told me over the phone and he reassured me that the price should be what we were told over the phone because this was a security deposit for the room. NOT THE TRUTH. Come to find out when we check out that our total is $110.66. I was not pleased and told the man at the front desk this is NOT what I was told over the phone and he said there was nothing he could do about what the lady said over the phone. This was an over priced and poorly run establishment. Not to mention people were constantly at the front desk dealing with issues it seemed like. If you plan on going make sure you ask for everything you want when you check in including the packages you paid for, keys to get into the pools, and QUESTIONS ABOUT THE FINAL PRICE.
Saturday night, I was performing magic for a private party, and I found the Hotel/Catering staff to be helpful and friendly. I had occasion to walk the gaming floor for a bit. The games were fun, the area was clean and attractive, and everyone seemed to be having a good time.
Nice place with friendly staff. We stayed two nights in the original Cadillac Jacks hotel, soon to be a DoubleTree. Very nice, modern, remodeled rooms. Theres still some construction going on on the casino floor, but nothing too crazy. The new look is going to be awesome when is complete. Well definitely be back!
Rooms were nice. Modern feel to hotel. Easy walk to historic stretch of Deadwood. There were restaurant choices within the hotel building complex, but they didnt look as enticing to us as the historic area options. Free coffee bar in casino area, though it was fairly lackluster
My family and I went to stay in this area and didnt have much luck finding a cabin to stay in, called Cadillac jacks and they were friendly and gave a good rate! So we thought. We confirmed the co-joining room multiple times with the front desk before out arrival. Turned out the rooms didnt join leaving us at jeopardy for our 5 KIDS as to where they would sleep without being over looked all night and splitting all of us up for the evening. We were told about the "perks" of staying at the hotel before we booked. Marcos percentage off your order (not trueit was not on the card. Buy one get one Starbucks (the store wasnt even available because they were just building it yet). Those are just a couple examples. Tried talking to the manager about our rooms not being together and he made up the excuse that they dont guarantee it. Talked to more than one couple that was staying there and the front desk charged them for their stay even tho they didnt even check in the day before. The staff is rude and inconsiderate. I would not recommend this to ANY family that wants to stay in the area and we will definitely not be going back. I have never been treated so disrespected by workers who are "supposed" to be in customer service.
Had to wait 1hr and 10min for our room after making reservations for the room in advance. Valet parking slow. Customer service absolutely sucks!!! As for room, Jr suite was very nice. Casino was fun. Sry but were I management, Id be looking for a new job as well as most of the employees. After the wait for our room, not once did anyone apologize for it. After paying $400 in advance, non-refundable, some concessions should have been considered. Will not be staying there again. Will not recommend this place to anyone.
Hotel is under construction and it was very noisy even in the morning if you want to sleep in. Our room was very nice, a king suite, with a comfortable bed. Casino was very nice but the slots were very tight compared to other casinos downtown. Restaurant food was OK but our waitress on Wednesday(March 28thmorning was very rude. She was the only server and wasnt too busy and she wasnt in the least bit courteous. Parking was not very good. They have construction going on and due to that, it was limited.
Booked a jacuzzi suite and upon arrival thought the cleanliness was not great but nothing to complain about. Later found the sheets were dirty. Called front desk and asked for a manager to come look and was told nobody was there. They decided to upgrade us to a bigger suite and while checking the sheets in the new room with the front desk staff person found the duvet was stained. The sheets otherwise appeared clean. Once she left I pulled back all the sheets and the mattress pad was covered in hair. Will definitely not be staying here again.
Cadillac Jacks had a few rooms available last minute, so we decided to stay. Free valet parking and prompt and friendly service at the front desk. However, DO NOT eat at the restaurant. The food is unfavorable and when we mentioned something to the wait staff about our food we were treated like we were just trying to get a free meal but clearly hadnt eaten but a couple of bites. The server was rude and so was the cook/manager that came out and verbally attacked us because we didnt like our meal. They discounted our ticket but not without confrontation. We will not be back.
Loved that out room had a cold empty fridge and microwave! We drove a couple of hours and was so nice to throw our supplies into the empty fridge and not have to remove all the mini bottles ! $15 resort fee but show ur card and Starbucks was BOGO, 15% off food tab, $15 added to my gaming card so it was fine.Staff very nice. Towels delivered in minutes!Deducted for shot ceilings .Shower nice upgraded!
I am an Elite rewards member. We asked for an early check-in but it wasnt ready. We understand that sometimes this isnt available. The front desk stated that they would call when it was available. No one ever called so we came back 2 hours later, still no room. We were told they would call so we waited 2 more hours and finally got a room. The next morning we went down to breakfast at 8 am and most of the food was gone. Everyone was asking if they were going to refill the breakfast bar. It seems that they are running very short staffed and that makes for poor customer service. This was a Tuesday night stay so there should be no excuses.
Hotel was nothing exceptional. They were in the middle of remodeling so some issues were to be expected but my biggest complaints pertain to front desk personnel. My wife, child and myself had been driving all night and were really looking forward to a shower and nap when we arrived around 1230 PM on the day of our reservation which I had already paid for. I was told there were NO early check-ins and even if I was willing to pay a prorate there were NO EXCEPTIONS and 3 PM was earliest possible time. Finally once checking in I was informed there was a $12.95 fee that covered a casino credit and food discount but could be removed so upon check-out I told them I hadnt used any of it but was told I had to make that choice at check-in. Ill definitely never return to this hotel.
The stay was very well worth it. We stayed in the lowest price room available for $39 and everything was still kept up to par. Staff was friendly and helpful, and even for the off season, it was still relatively busy. Only downside was that the rooms were very bare. No fridge or microwave, only a small coffee pot. I cant complain too much though because the price was worth it.
Stayed for two nights in Sept. 2013. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean. They also offered smoking rooms! Yippee! They had a shuttle that would take you downtown and pick you back up in a timely manner when you called them. Just tip the driver. While the continental breakfast was good, it seems a little unorganized and seemed to be lacking enough staff to keep things rolling along smoothly. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night and the meals were good. Didnt spend much time in the casino, but it was nice. They had a free drink station with coffee, juice and soda pop, which I thought was nice. Upon check in we received coupons a free drink for both nights, for both of us and for the Starbucks that is inside the casino. I cant remember what that coupon was for. buy 1 get one, I think. They also had a guest laundry which we took advantage of. Good place for the value. I would stay here again.
