Food and service are great, best Mexican food in the Lehigh Valley.

We didnt have a reservation gogle was messing up my reservation but when we got there we didnt have to wait that long Saturday dinner was almost full restaurant their menu is a classic Mexican restaurant comfort food. I had the carne asada fries as an appetizer and the shirmp burrito blue as main course, burrito came with rice and beans a nice size not too big not to small the food was good it need it a little more spice but overall nice place and our server was good too. And this restaurant is BYOB so feel free to bring the fiesta with you.🍷

My employer had the food truck come to work. I was impressed with the service. Although there was a long line they prepared the food quickly. The cactus blue staff were friendly and efficient. It was the first time eating from them. I had beef tacos, rice and beans and dessert. The food was fresh and tasty. I definitely would go to there restaurant

Great authentic Mexican chow at affordable prices! BYOB helps keep drink costs down. My wife and I spent $30 plus a $6 tip & had dinner the next evening. My kind of evening out!

I had a large catering order delivered for a picnic and it was a great experience. Easy working with Adam on solidifying the menu, arrived on time and hot --- everyone loved it and we were very impressed!

They were busy but the service was quick and the food was tasty. I shared a chimichanga with my daughter and we really enjoyed it. The chips were yummy

Favorite place for Mexican food. Everything we have had has been excellent from fish tacos to enchiladas to chimichangas. Love their chips and home made salsa. We get takeout out every month and sometimes eat in. Cant beat BYOB!

Visited the food truck at the South Mall yesterday!!! I had the loaded pork nachos, they were loaded nicely, I didnt have any bare chips and they held the toppings very well. Went back for some Baja fish tacos, nice crunch on the fish, fresh red cabbage slaw, yum! My wife enjoyed the taco platter which came with rice and beans, good portions, soft shells were lightly toasted which is how we like em. The walking taco looked amazing too. Will definitely be hitting up the truck throughout the summer! Thank you Cactus Blue Truck!

Way better than our visit to On The Border. The food alone was just like being back home in Houston. Would definitely go there again.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant, since I discovered a few years ago at Music Fest. Chips and salsa are always fresh and a great free appetizer. I recently tried the fish tacos and really liked them. I have also had enchiladas verde and it was yummy.

Great place for a good authentic Mexican meal. Their portion size is good- will not go hungry, in fact will have leftovers for later.Like their service.

We have been to Cactus Blue quite a few times and the food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. Portion size is good so one should never leave hungry. Weve always been very satisfied with our meals. Were always too full for their great desserts.

I ordered from Cactus Blue pretty often. One thing I never understood .. why lunch burrito is twice smaller than dinner burrito. I understand, price is different too. Rather than dropping price and size of a meal match the price and add free drink to it, so people don’t feel scammed.

Havent been to a Mexican restaurant in close to a decade and Im no connoisseur or expert but what a great place. Food was amazing and the staff was phenomenal.Love the chips!

I had an early dinner of combination chicken and steak fajitas. The server was excellent and the servings generous. I would have given a five but I had two issues; nowhere on the site did it say byob and I really wanted a margarita. Second, fajitas only came with 3 tortillas and when I asked for more because I had enough meat and veggies for 6 I was charged for the extras and not told.

We were in Bethlehem, Pa. for a family event; and we were looking for a place to have dinner. We drove past Cactus Blue, and we decided to try it. It was the best decision we made. The food is delicious from the salsa to the entrees. The server, a young girl with dark brown hair and a beautiful smile, was excellent and very attentive to her customers. Our only regret is we are just visiting, and we won’t be able to enjoy your wonderful restaurant all of the time! Thank you for a delicious and memorable meal!

Good food, great variety, friendly staff

My family and I have been coming here for a few years and we’ve always loved it. Until tonight unfortunately. Went for dinner with the family. Service was a little slow, but I understand that is not their fault as they are understaffed and doing the best they can. I had ordered chicken and cheese enchiladas, and the server brought chicken Quesadillas. When I told the server that wasn’t what I ordered, I ordered the enchiladas, she was extremely rude and said “uh, no you definitely ordered the quesadillas.” When I told her again I didnt, she rudely insisted I did. I’ve been going there and I get the same two things over and over; chicken chimichanga or chicken cheese enchiladas. I understand she may have misheard or made a simple mistake. It happens. But I don’t appreciate her being so rude and ready to argue with me about it. We’ve been coming here for a long time, but I think we will stay away for a little while. And as I said before, it’s not about the pace of the service, or even the mix up. It was about the rudeness.

Carne Asada Fries were yummy just like the rest of the food we ordered.

Was very yummy food. Opened a couple of minutes late, but service was very fast. The waitress, June, was very friendly and attentive. If there would be one criticism, would be the lack of Coca-Cola products. Food was great. The guacamole was nothing extra special, but it was tasty. Fajitas were a very healthy portion. The appetizers were spot on and quick to arrive. Prices were fair. Would definitely visit again, soon.

Cactus Blue is my favorite mexican restaurant! Not only is the food superb, but the wait staff is very kind and goes above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need and that your meal is prepared exactly to your liking! Whenever we want to go out to a place that makes you feel like home we always pick Cactus Blue! We also love when we can go check out new places and still eat from their food truck!

Best Mexican food in the valley, hands down. Prices may look high at first glance but you get at least 2, most of the time 3 meals out of it. The homemade chips and salsa that come to the table right away are amazing. BYOB is the way to go! Great service, and in all honesty, this time only they messed up my wifes order. She asked for no cheese or sour cream due to food allergies and it came out with cheese. They took it back and remade it with absolutely no snark or eye rolls or anything. Highly professional 👌

WOW. The food was great. The portions were huge. Get the guacamole, it is freshly made to order, and prepped at your table.The margaritas are perfect. The service was on point. The atmosphere was welcoming.Will be back. Now on my favorites list.

By far the best Mexican food Ive ever had! Get their house shredded beef with their own special seasoning burrito with guacamole. The fried ice cream was amazing as well.

The food was good, flavor was there. I gave 3 stars because of the food, however, we had to wait almost an hour for our antre and its not like there was a lot of people in the place, only 2 tables.When the food came they had made it wrong. I ordered a steak chimichanga and they made it with chicken.It tasted good, but that is not what I ordered.My wife ordered flautas.they were overcooked, to the point where the chicken crumbled.So I take 1 star for long waiting time,and 1 for getting order wrong.

Ordered about $70 worth of food, big mistake as I never tried this place and most likely won’t go back. Queso and chips are delicious but everything else is bland, flavorless mush. Ordered a specific dish without an ingredient due to allergy and they still put it in. Ordered enchiladas and received some sort of tortilla cheese salsa verde stew. Very unappetizing. Cactus Blue is no bueno.

Great food and good ambience. Staff is kind and helpful.Highly recommended the Tamales - authentically made and great flavor. Tacos Blue are a favorite as well.Wait time for food can be a little long, so expect a minimum 30-40 min for a sit down meal but its very much worth it!Smaller dining area, so call ahead.

Great, authentic Mexican food. Never have been disappointed with anything weve ordered. My personal favorite is the chimichanga and the quesadilla tinga is great for an appetizer.Staff is always friendly and they have been offering curbside service, which has been very convenient.

The food was really good but the best thing was the dessert! Fried Ice cream and funnel cake fries. Sooooo good!

The food was great. The service was friendly, but slightly slow. The chicken nachos could have been a meal by itself for two. The toppings were layered, leaving hardly any chops without coverage. They were some of the best nachos I have ever had. We also tried the chimichangas and fajitas. Both were excellent.

Usually excellent. But today the beef in the tacos was very tough and stringy. It is BYOB so money can be saved easily. Beans rice and chips and sauce were excellent. Guacamole seemed to be smaller than I remember but very good. Plenty of food. Ruby my Akita loved the extra seasoned rice. !!!! Lunch prices were reasonable.

BYOB MEXICAN restaurant. The food was freshly made, very tasty. Nice decor, friendly service. All the food came out at a nice pace.They do offer various margarita mixes by the glass or pitcher. We had the mango, it was really good. So bring your tequila.The fried ice cream was made with corn flakes instead of coconut. It was fabulous .This facility is handicap accessible.Update: came back 1 month later waitress wanted to charge $7 for 2nd basket of salsa and chips. So watch your bill. Brazen move being they are so close to On The Boarder restaurant.

Pretty good food. There are some dishes that you dont see on menus elsewhere. The rice is forgettable. BYOB. Had tacos and rice&beans from their food truck. The rice&beans were an improvement over the rice I had at the restaurant.

Chips and homemade salsa was a great start to our lunch and then the service was little to non existant at great lengths of time. She was either preoccupied or something else but attending 3 tables could not be this stressful. I had a line of sight of the kitchen and the microwave was not used once for any of the meals served while I was there which is a great sign. Overall the food was tasty and flavorful but I was expecting much more from a local award winning favorite.

My absolute favorite. Their fajitas are slamming and I love the salsa they give you. I always go during lunch time and its never busy.
