Amazing game store. Met up with my online dnd group here, the man behind the counter made great conversation and helped us pick out a game to play, and even came over to explain the rules and go over a practice round. Great vibes and an awesome selection of games and MtG/DnD accessories, cards, sourcebooks, minis, and dice

I fully support this friendly game store. They do games, and thats all they do, so dont expect comics, cosplay, or other geeky goodness. Their occasional MTG tournament nights are packed, but they still manage to fit in other customers. Theres even a local group of D&D Beyond players that use table space on the regular. All this combined with the other businesses (food and drink options very nearbymake this gem of a shop a must visit.

I would liken cabbages and kings to the Cheers of game stores. Dan, the owner, knows the name of just about every customer who has been a patron more than once. It is extremely welcoming to people of any background. Some could say a safe haven for any type of nerd you choose to be. This place is an absolute favorite of mine! If you like Magic the Gathering and you are in the Peoria area, this is the place to play

Dan (the owneris an excellent guy. The shop is clean, the selection is great, and its awesome to have a shop that cares so much about the customer.

Staff was nice. Clean place. The only thing Ill say that keeps it from getting a 5th star is i think the selection is a lot smaller than Just for Fun. But a nice place to stop of you need some fun for game night.

Great place for cards in Peoria

Love playing d&d in the shop. They have multiple games a week and your character can play in any of them.This was one of the encounters on Friday nights game. I might have been the cause of this.

They sell tabletop games, dice, miniatures, and cards. The staff are very friendly. They have a ton of tabletop games for you to try out. Plus they have lots of tables for you to play on.

Moved to Peoria from Florida. Found this game shop and it has been amazing. Owner is friendly and the community is great. My fiancée loves the selection of board games.
