CUT by Wolfgang Puck in Doha

Tried this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner.Breakfast is a buffet where they can make your eggs to order, along with waffles and pancakes and such. Definitely one of the better hotel breakfast buffets.For lunch I had the weinerschnitzel veal cutlet, which was so perfectly crispy, along with a very tasty mac and cheese.For dinner I had a wagyu ribeye, which was cooked to perfection, along with a velvety, smooth and creamy mashed potatoes. Perfect companion to the steak.Their service was great as well.

Amazing food, great staffs! Will come back again next time because the food is soooo great 😍 Also, the hotel gives you legit Alice in Wonderland vibes ♟️♣️♦️♥️♠️

Came in for a business lunch. Great menu and an amazing Striploin steak cooked to perfection. Their business lunch is 2 or more courses. I would definitely come again.

Unfortunately that wasnt special night for me and my friends. Food serving was really strange, as side dishes went to the center of the table we got huge empty dishes with small pieces of meat. Waitress kept away the table after all main courses been served, so you have to got to bar to pay for the dinner as all been so super busy.

I was very much looking forward to dining at Cut as Id heard so many good things but I was a little disappointed in my experience.The service was lovely as were the staff.What disappointed me was the crab starter lacked any particular flavour. The steak was nicely cooked but the asparagus was overcooked.My favourite desert Creme Brulee was dry and the portion way too large.For sn expensive meal it was disappointingI would eat again there trying something completely different, and then decide.

I had the worst dinner in my life , I ordered ribeye-stake medium well, and they got me filet mignon well done and super dry , who eats well done stake ?????? I was super embarrassed because i was invited with friends and i couldn’t change it because my friends want to eats with me in same time . My strong advice the stuff should have more lessening skills. And i will never ever recommend anyone to TRY THIS RESTAURANT .

It was our birthday celebration but unfortunately it was quite a disappointment at CUT by Wolfgang Puck..we went for business lunch...firstly we were not at all pleased with our table placement..it was way back in the farthest corner where we literally had to make a huge effort to get attention of our server..we were 8 ppl we were given 2 round tables awkwardly joined together .we very politely requested Mr.Waine if he can change our table or accomodate us to a different setting..but we were absolutely taken aback by his unprofessional and rude behavior..he was very condescending in his tone and body language ..told us that the table we were requesting was booked 2 days in advance..so we cant have it and we made reservation late.we understand this but the way he was talking so rude...n surprisingly from 12pm till almost 2.30pm nobody showed up for the so called reserved table..if your guests are already here with a reservation also you can make an effort to accommodate them rather than ppl who never showed up..The food was very average with 4 orders of salmon completely over dry n when we told them ..were were asked to eat with the sauce provided so u will not feel dry..wow.. had to make multiple requests for simple things ...although I will menion that our server was politeWe are very reasonable ppl and usually ignore n dont complain small mishaps...but being a five star hotel and in a service industry your staff especially Mr Waine should be properly trained to be polite atleast ..substandard food and rude customer service really spoiled a very special day for us..You need to improve your standards @Mondian

Very nice lunch experience. I went there with 2 coworkers and we tried the lunch menu. The price is great if you compare it with the a la carte menu.Just with the salad, which I asked as a starter, I think would have been enough as a meal plus some protein. In my case I went for the kale and quinoa salad and the taste was nice.We had the NY steak and also didnt disappoint us, some people would like bigger portions though.Desserts were just great. Would recommend the cheesecake that we all agreed was the jewl of the set.

Warm white wine and overcooked pasta!We used to go there for the Veal shnitzel which used to be the best in town, sadly not anymore! The shnitzel was bland, supermarket quality! Wine brought to the table warm and told us to wait until chilled- we were already on the main course and still waiting for the wine to chill!! No one bother offering another wine choice - I guess they didn’t have any white wine chilled! Won’t go there again! Disappointed!

Absolutely love this restaurant. I always order the eggplant appetizer, hand it tagliatelle and their sea bream is to die for. I highly recommend those three dishes. The rest of the menu is fantastic. Do try different cocktails, Anas the bartender makes them super delicious. My favorites are Peace on Earth, and Angels and Politicians. Honestly everything is good there, and I love the staff. Shoutout to Alex, Sophia, Anas, and Antonio the manager who always take care of my group and I. Cheers!

Second visit to Cut here in Doha, have been to the ones in London and Vegas before.Not sure why, but the Doha is just a bit better than the others.Great food in a lovely hotel and really nicely laid out. Great staff to explain everything clearly.This place always delivers, definitely the best steak house in Doha that I have been to.

It was truly amazing food and service! My taste buds were jumping up and down for joy… definitely a worthwhile experience. Go see the staff and experience delectable food!

Yet, we are really totally disappointed from the service down to the food…1. One tall asian guy who took our order is rude kinda questioned how much more food we’d like to order as if we can’t afford it. It’s 2PM late to have lunch, of course we are hungry.🙄🙄🙄2. They insist to remove the appetizers even we were still enjoying it, even we requested not too.. just so they can serve the main course.. Can’t we really not enjoy having everything we ordered in our table at this restaurant??3. Most of the food we ordered are salty, ribeye steaks, the sauce, beef sashimi and most of all my Boss order “Special Pasta by the Chef” he even complained to the waitress it’s salty. The food is not worth the price4. Mocktails are too sour..definitely not worth the price!One staff was very sweet lady & humble thou.Overall, the service & food was terrible..👎🏻👎🏻

We went for the happy hour type deal. Overpriced, honestly. The food is good, dont get me wrong, bit its not worth what we paid for it. And, if youre a larger party wanting more, youll pay a LOT more. Prefer the happy hour over at Tahitian Village.

The Bolognese pasta was delicious , however the strip loin steak did not meet expectation..

I left this restaurant still hungry after eating there. The food is really pricey but but not wort the price when compared to other steakhouses in Doha. You can go elsewhere and spend half and have a better dinner. The restaurant itself looks nice and is located in a nice area but I was disappointed is the amount of food you receive for the price.

During my stay in Doha I was lucky enough to have Lunch and Dinner at CUT by Wolfgang Puck at Mondrian Doha as it was situated within the hotel we stayed in.Its simple yet elegant in its decor. The staff were all amazing, both times I had Wayne attending to our tables. He gave us exceptional service.My Lunch meal was a Crispy Chicken Breast Sandwich with Garlic Aioli and served on a Brioche bun. I ordered a side of Tempura Onion Rings too, served with Ketchup (it seems to be a thing in Dohaas you know I cant resist that combo. The sandwhich and the onion rings were scrumptious, I enjoyed every single bite of it. Everyone else enjoyed their lunch too.On my second visit for dinner, it happened to be Thanksgiving, so they were serving a special dinner. We however, had our eyes set on the prawns. Grilled Jumbo Prawns with toasted Chilli Soy, Garlic, Ginger and Jasmine Rice. I washed this down with a Tequila Cocktail called "Pepinos way". It was a mix of Silver Patron, Basil, Japanese cucumber and lime. It was enjoyable wish it came in a tall glass.Would have loved to go back again but didnt have time. We had a Friday outdoor brunch. Place is very nice yet it was almost empty which takes away from the whole brunch experience.Service is very good and staff extremely friendly, like the best in Doha; The food presentation is top notch and I enjoyed the starters the most. I was expecting a good steak for the main course especially this is the highlight of The Cut by Wolfgang; we got a variety of sea bream, Turkey and a small slow cooked roast-beef which were okay. I didn’t see the menu before booking which is my fault.

Very nice business lunch , with a good choice. Super customer service, and music to add a relaxed atmosphere, the only thing I would say is its too cold , the air con is set way too low , my advice is to take extra clothing , my feet were freezing , and I wish I had worn long sleeves.

This has recently been our favourite spot in Doha! The food is absolutely outstanding and most importantly it is consistently good. The staff are so professional and honestly personally care about delivering high level of service. I highly recommend the Happy Hour at The Cut, which is great value. The Cut has a lovely terrace overlooking Lusail.

Cut has a great happy hour deal. The bites are excellent, especially the eggplants. There is variety of drinks. Worth it!Nice outdoor sitting to enjoy while weather is fresh!

This is probably our best dining experience in Doha. The food was flavourful and unique, but the service and staff made the difference - friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful when there was a slight issue with one of our orders.We will be back.

What a beautiful resturant in a beautiful trendy hotel. If you are looking for USDA Prime meat you must try this place. My Medium cooked rib eye steak was juicy and tender. The chef come over and we had good chat about the meat. Beef tartar was delicious. Happy to have such a place in Doha. Will definitely go back.Their Friday brunch is waste of money and low class. Can’t agree with five stars. We came because we rated Cut the best steak, from Singapore. But here it was a very different experience from the start. The setting feels like a hotel breakfast buffet spillover rather than the mood lighting and intimate atmosphere we had in singapore. The meat looked good but my daughter had the trio with a distinctly “iffy” smelling US cut. The waiter checked with chef and said it was ok but my stomach said otherwise. Then the entertainment. A girl with piano, a girl with a violin strapped to her chest, and a magician. What did that have to do with quality food ? The magician was the highlight of the night but unfortunately interrupted the main course which had cooled whe. We got back to it. So altogether wee they designed to distract us fro the food ? So what’s the point ? Not a great experience and not comparable to the other Cut restaurant in Singapore. However, the staff were really nice. Not their fault but something seriously amiss.

Ive eaten here a number of times and the food and service is wonderful and consistent. The waiters are attentive and try their best to cater to your dietary needs. The only thing is they ask for your number each time and though Ive asked them not to call and they say they wont, they do. The lady at the front was offended though I said it kindly. Its overwhelming after eating there a few times, they always ensure things are OK which is great and ask if youre fine, open to what you have to say but to then call the next day... Save your calling credits.

We arrived for a late lunch, however the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food is very good, the service is attentive and anticipating yet not intrusive. We had a wonderful moment. Special thanks to our waiter Andrei!

The Cut just doesn’t make it. Although the interiors of this new restaurant in Doha at the Mondrian are unique and offer something different, the whole dining experience is let down by a number of factors. The food is fine but not as one would be expecting, the service needs huge improvements, from the moment you walk in till you sit down for dinner. The Cut wants to be perceived as fine dining, but eventually once you are able to eat and complete your meal, the only fine thing is the bill. It doesn’t come cheap, so head to other places in town.

We had an excellent evening last night at Cut and were blown away by the attention to detail of the manager, Fabien. They created amazing cocktails for all of the girls and even made a special menu for our friends special day. I would highly recommend booking events here and Im so thankful for Fabiens help in making our night, and the bride-to-bes night, so much better!

Can not say enough about the lovely servers and staff at this restaurant. They were attentive and downright sweet, and really made sure we had a lovely time.Good selection of drinks and small bites during happy hour. We chose to sit back in two of those high-backed wing chairs which gave us a lovely view of the rest of the restaurant (and theres quite a lot of lovely things to look at - the decor is outlandish and I quite liked it). We unfortunately did not stay for dinner so I cant comment on that, but will definitely be back for it.

As everyone said in their previous reviews the service is unmatched so I do give them 5. For the ambience, we were a little disappointed because we felt the furnishings (chairs and tablesdid not match the status of the 5 star restaurant. The place felt empty and I think mostly because the ceiling was a bit high.And now for the main event...food. We ordered couple appetizers and they brought assorted breads which were out of this world..amazingly delicious. For the main course we ordered a huge stake and fish.As for the prices we paid, the main courses (taste, authenticity and qualitywere not close to the prices and thats what got us disappointed. We had definitely a better tasting aged stake at much lower prices at the Mall of Qatar.

Great food great service! We were looked after fabulously by all the staff and made to feel very welcome. The food was soooo tasty and varied but we had the Friday Brunch and we did feel it was rushed, we had finished in an hour! Good music and a great Sax player even though it did get a little loud we still could not fault this place. Would defo go again and soon!
