CURRIES & KABABS - Kebab Shop in New Delhi, India
CURRIES & KABABS in New Delhi
Description
Privilege
They have mobile phones on fixed holders so you cant even hold a phone in your hand to check size, weight, feel etc. before buying. What a pointless thing to have them in store.
MoreLooking for a gas cooker....have to wait 3 weeks to order.... ridiculous
Took laptop in to be cleaned told girl what not to remove. She said that it would cost £45 ,told her we have insurance. Still had to pay. Picked laptop up today and everything has been wiped off. Went back this evening, did get our money back . Should not have had to pay in first place. No help in getting things back on laptop . Really disappointed with currys customer care.
MoreVery helpful staffLooking for a new mobile phone and they were knowledgeable efficient and helpful. Rupert in particular was great. Well done guys
MoreGreat range of goods and some very knowledgeable staff. Some excellent prices as well.
MoreThey don’t seem to care about the clients anymore. We were there almost 45 minutes and not once someone asked can I help you.
MorePathetic. Couldn’t process an online order because of fault in their IT. Had to go into store next day by which time the price had gone up. Refused to refund the difference. Very bad customer service from such a large company. After this experience won’t be using them again and don’t recommend.
Morebetter to shop online as store is not well stocked. Hard to find staff to assist even though plenty around the store.
MoreThe shop like any other currys had lots of products but sadly many products were out of stock. It would be great if the respective authorities avoid displaying the out-of-stock products. I went to take a laptop and many laptops displayed were actually out of stock. They also had lots of new tech stuff like Meta Portal go, Nvidia Shield TV etc. The shop is big and the customer service is also fine.
MoreUseless staff walk around and just read if a tablet now less than the customers about products
MorePurchased a keyboard had a discount from a manager as the packing had been opened and torn. So many thanks. TonyB.
MoreLove to come here even just to look around and see the cool tech they have. Staff is quick when it comes to replacing a faulty product
MoreGot sent all over the store for a specific item and were evetually given the wrong one, had to go back the next day and exchange it, was helped by a very efficient staff member, so I guess it depends who you get
MoreEvery electronic itemis available under one roof. You can opt for delivery, recycling ♻️ installation, extend extend warranty.
MoreUpstairs had the largest selection of built in ovens Ive seen at a Currys in a while!
MoreOrdered an item to have delivered and delivery day came and went. Contacted customer services who had no idea about why the delivery had not been delivered. No apology nothing.
MoreStaffs behavior and service is too bad...they interested in chatting with colleague rather helping customer to get their requirements..went to Argos later then
MoreLesson learned never buy anything from currys becuase if it breaks you are stuffed... Essentially please go away!
MoreGreat selection, helpful staff, but the shop itself needs a refresh, some devices displayed were so old that I would be surprised if they could find in stock...
MorePurchased an integrated fridge freezer plus installation and disposal of old one. Extremely poor installation, no gap left between fridge and freezer doors. Pulling one door results into opening of both doors. Further, during removal of old fridge guys dropped it at patio door causing damage to the door. Complained on currys Online chat, they promised that store will call back. I m waiting for a month, no contact by currys. Pictures were shared with currys
MoreWanted to buy a TV, one guy said hed help, be back in a minute...never came back. Then asked another dude and he said he couldnt help, was too busy...so..yeh...no TV for me
MoreStaff more interested in chatting in little huddles than helping customers.Went to Argos instead.
MoreDropped into Slough store yesterday afternoon looking for a new vacuum cleaner. Thought I knew exactly what i wanted- the same as my old one but alas I was wrong. A wonderful sales guy "wish I had got his name" talked me through what i really needed and asked plenty of questions and advised on which product I should buy. He was totally right got it home just perfect. Thanks again
MoreCan’t give a zero star rating so forced to give one star 🙁wanted to buy a washing machine and asked about discount, sales person flat out told me no … even though I can get it cheaper on AO.comWhat a useless store…. They straightaway lost a sale
MoreIm waiting for my oder 3 days every day is telling that I will resive today but nothing have been delivered first day they send me wrong item wich one seem day I send it back and now its not delivering my item and took the paymant
MoreCurrys front of house staff was lovely the man welcomed us told us where to go for the fridge/ freezer department one person serving who was on a computer so had a walk about to find what we were looking for when we found it stood a round waiting for someone to come to us ?Got fed up with waiting asked for some assistance as their were at least 5 employees stood taking together ( Not about work either only to told that the tickets on the freezers were not up to date so they werent any good ( ie on the freezer said it was a rateibg AA but really it was a F or E so was not a happy person
MoreWe bought a Kenwood Cooker, for my elderly parents, from Currys in March 2021, in April 2022 it triggered the carbon monoxide alarm. On enquiring they were told to phone the gas emergency line, who came, checked and disconnected it, saying the carbon monoxide gas reading was so high that he was surprised nothing bad had happened. This was a month ago and since then the Currys engineer came and said he couldnt check it as they are not given the equipment needed and he would just write it off. The oowclaims team have made an offer which is an insult. For being just on the other side of the year, they are offering about 1/3 of the price. My parents cannot afford, one year on, to buy another cooker. The amount offered would not cover a good set of pans. This is a manufacturing fault and had it have been used by a family on a more regular basis it would have happened sooner and maybe even with disastrous consequences. We have always bought from Currys but were shocked that the one time we have needed their understanding it has not been forthcoming. I have been phoning since the offer, but am passed from pillar to post. Non of the departments knows what is going on. I was advised by the oowclaims team to contact the specialist product investigation team they have, which no-one in Currys is aware of. Our family has always bought electrical goods from Currys but after this we will not be buying from them. They have lost valued customers. The fact is that my parents are without a cooker for a month and cannot afford to buy takeaways and have no means of cooking.
MoreWell its OK staff is usally good if you can get hold of them.Lots of parking.Prices are usally alright.
MoreI gave my laptop which I brought it online in Currys PC website for repair. After a week, I got SMS stating that my laptop is ready for collection and even the online tracking system shows its delivered to Slough Currys PC store. But when I went there to collect my laptop the staff members are saying they dont have the laptop. The teamknowhow guys who does repairs on behalf of Currys PC said that it was definitely delivered but Slough Currys PC store staff told me that they dont have the laptop and giving lame excuses like it might be still in transit and will be delivered in next batch. But the truth is even in the next batch delivery my laptop was not found. It seems like they dont know where the laptop is and have no means of tracking it and they have lost my laptop. Moreover the way how they treat me and handle this situation is not very professional and worst after sales service and customer experience.I would definitely not recommended Slough Currys PC store for buying any items nor for any repair or after sales service. Worst experience so far and the staff are not able answer simple questions with a straight answer. All they say is just lame excuses like a toddler all the way up to store manager. This is not just with me please see other reviews as well. It seems like thats the way, how this store operates. Pretty bad and shame. Not even worth 1 star.Update: Finally, I got my laptop back after a week. They raised an investigation and found my laptop and returned it.But still not satisfied with the overall Customer Service & After Sale Support I had so far.
MoreI was enjoying (?perusing fridge/freezers until...ear blasting rap issued forth over the speakers, preventing any discussion of any products, and ensuring a hasty exit....ps your staff will probably achieve the same level of deafness by the time they are 20 that has taken me a lifetime listening to heavy metal!!
MoreLots of stock in store and lots of staff. However not always knowledgeable. And I was refused a refund for something I returned same day. Poor service. I took to another store in high Wycombe the same day who refunded my money no questions asked.
MoreHardly any phones in stock, all order for next day delivery. I can sit at home and order a next day delivery. No wonder shops are being closed down.
MoreWe got a shark vacuum cleaner today. Nasheen was so helpful.Very good service. Thank you for your help Nasheen.
MoreLots of variety and very efficient with online orders. However the staff were completely oblivious to the concept of customer service. They had no idea where to find which items and kept me waiting to pay whilst they chatted about social issues. Left without picking the item I wanted due to this incompetence.
MoreThe staff was niceI bough so many products from thereIs such a good storeSometimes they have good discounts
MoreThe store is huge and has a variety of options especially if you are looking for computer accessories, televisions or laptops. They can out or stock though for many items. However, its one of most convenient options if you wanna go and check out the stuff before actually. The staff was helpful and friendly.I think you can find competitive prices online though.
MoreOpening a residential home for kids with ASD, asked in store about donation or significant discount TV and games console, was served by young man, who was told "see what we can do for the gentleman (me!)" - all I got was "only vouchers are for finance, buy now pay later" TBH, dont think the kid had the first clue about customer service! All he had to do was speak to his manager......but he couldnt grasp this concept. Needless to say, no discount or donation!! Thanks Currys Slough for not helping the kids I am trying to help!! Also, agree with other comments, lot of staff not doing anything other than chatting between themselves when customers waiting to be helped, I saw 3 people leave the store un the 45mins I was in there getting no help!! This was 2 weeks ago, so who knows how much money they have lost in missed sales over the last fortnight!! Will be happy to write a new review if store manager gets in touch with a deal for me though 😉
MoreI love this place. Always find the bargain when you need and can not wait that long. However, staffs seem to be too busy, not too bothered be too honest with customer service. You litterly have to look for staff members to speak to them. They do have lots of choices and items on offer always.
MoreWent in with a shopping list of things to look at/buy, toaster, kettle, headphones, vacuum cleaner, laptop and a cable to connect my phone to my car. Looked at displays for kettles and toasters, very nice, well presented and clear, found a couple I liked. Then went to headphones, only boxes on display, I understand why. Wanted to have a look at a couple because I currently have beats solo and after a while the pressure on my ear hurts. So wanted bigger ear pieces. Everyone seemed to be busy so wandered around had a quick look at laptops and then went towards TVs to see if I could find someone, which I did 2 in fact at a screen. I said hi and asked if they had any of the headphones on display I could look at the younger guy looked at me and said "no", I waited a moment to see if he was going to say anything else, he didnt so I walked away. I went to the front of the store to see if I could at least buy the cable but it wasnt clear which 1 I would need and as everyone seemed to be doing something, I gave up and didnt even bother to look at vacuum cleaners or go back for the toaster and kettle, perhaps I will go back on a day they actually want to sell me something .....or perhaps not!
MoreConsidering there is hardly anywhere left to touch/feel tech goods (no thanks to Amazon/internet only stores), its brilliantly set up to demonstrate every gadget youd want in the home.Excellent new headphone testing setup.Staff arent overly pushy, thankfully.
MoreTook my laptop in yesterday, and staff at the repair desk really helpful. Suggested I contacted HP help desk (it was outside guarantee so I hadn’t bothered). Computer now sorted. Curry’s could so easily have charged me £60 to send it away for a repair it didn’t need, so thanks for correct impartial advice!
MoreReally poorly managed store, lots of staff walking around doing nothing while the customer service staff have a queue of people waiting, Shaun the manager has no customer skills at all and allows one member of staff to be swamped with customers, the manager should be skilled in all areas of the store to be able to assist and coach. The only shining light was the excellent customer service provided by Ruby (Rubjiton the customer service desk who kept her promises regarding communication and was really friendly to all customers despite the undue pressure that was put upon her (I would imagine she is a studentits a shame the full timers do not follow her example.
MoreI didnt catch the name of the girl who served me, but due to her unresponsive colleagues, she was running around doing more than she should have or needed to do to serve customers.Aside from this one poor girl who was clearly overworked, the rest of the staff by the customer service kiosk/click and collect were on their phones and chatting away ignoring customers.
MoreLast Saturday I visited the store. It was very crowded and no-one was availed to talk to. Finally I found a bread maker, went to till to order one. Stood in a queue for half and hour. They didnt have one in stock, so the lady on till told, we could order by paying now and they will call in 3/4 days for collection. I waited for a week. Tried calling them but no-one picks the call. Today, I drove to the store and I was told that they couldnt order one as its not availed to order. I was asked to take refund after waiting for a week. Simply waste of time and rude staff. Never buying anything from Currys.
MoreWent in to replace my 20 year old 6ft chest freezer with a modern Fridge freezer ( downsized family and no longer needed for businessand met Dave. Most helpful customer rep Ive ever met. Treated me extremely well , very Helpful and didnt look down his nose at me as if I was something to be scraped off his shoe ( like some stores).Well done Dave. Ill be back early next year for the rest of the white goods for my new kitchen.
MoreLight, bright and airy store - a relaxed place to browse and (we visited on a weekday afternoonplenty of people to ask for help if needed. We wanted to chat about a possible laptop repair and had a bit of a wait for someone to become free but when they were free they were pleasant and helpful both on cost and timescales.
MoreBig big shop, many famous brands can be found here.
0 stars for customer service. I made a planned visit to the store ready to spend north of £500 on ring home security solutions but was failed to be served by a single member of staff. When I approached a young man at the front of the store he stated he only deals with mobiles and tried to fob me off and find someone at the back of the store. Curry’s needs to realise people come in store for a customer experience we have questions and need advice at time but when your staff make zero effort to engage with warm customers walking through your door then I’m sorry I refuse to hand over my money! I will do my own research now and order of Amazon instead. If I want a robotic experience then I’m better sticking to online!
MoreHi everyone! I was served by a really Excellent sales representative Nadir. He was so calm and patient and explained everything in a simplified way so I can absorb the information being a non technical person.. I was there around 7:45and the store was about to close soon, but without any frown on his face Nadir explained everything so patiently and we bought the phone with confidence. I highly recommend his service and car phone warehouse must be super proud to have him. Thank you so much Nadir, you are a star.
MoreVery large store. Lots of staff, someone is there if you need help and not pushy to keep bugging you. Only problem I have is that that they have items for sale in the shop such as Ninentoldo switch Joycon but when you get to the till the actually have none. Better stock management on the floor will help customers out a lot.
