Benefits of a hotel while paying for a hostelHostel room located in a hotel. Everything was fairly clean, and amenities fairly standard. A bit of a walk to the MRT station, but close to a night market, which was nice to visit at night.Room type: Bed in mixed room of 4Lockers• Size: Almost close to carry on size (though mines overstuffed, so it was hard for me to confirm)Bed• Light in bunk: Y• Outlet by/in bunk: Y• Area to hang towel: Y• Bunk curtains: Y, but need both you and your neighbor to fully close your curtains for both people to have their private space• Set up bedding yourself: N• Break down bedding yourself: NBathrooms• Number: Shared amongst the floor, though I never had issues with it being too busy (perhaps the hotel rooms have their own bathroom inside them?)• Combined toilet/shower: N• Hair Dryers: YCommon Area: Small area with a bench and table seatingAmenities• Included breakfast: N, but paid breakfast was available• Laundry: Y, coin operatedNotes: There is a very small gym area in the same room as the restaurant area, which contains 1 treadmill, 1 cycle, 1 bench, and a rolling bar and balls.Top opportunities for improvement: Update curtains so that each bed can fully enclose itself in curtains without their neighbor also closing their curtains. Provide shower sandals. Add dumbbells to gym.

Have to walk like a crab to get between the bed and tv from the door to the bathroom. Other than that the hotel is clean and has comfortable bed pillow and good pressure on the shower. The best part of the hotel is its location right at Ningxia night market

very quiet hotel, and decent quality for the cost. if you want to travel cheap, this is the place to go. its also near everything, bus, mrt, you are right in the center of stores and such.my only complain is the inability to turn off the bathroom light, no switch. so you cant sleep in pure darkness.as for the lack of bathtub that just a personal luxury i would have loved to get.

Light was blinking while night and couldn’t sleep well. Call receptionist but yet they just asked to sleep with light on and wait for technician to come. No escalation channel for complaint or action taken at all. Hotel management doing anything ?

Great location. But not so good experience about group check in. It took me almost 1hour to get the key. Room is small but very clean.

Its a two storey building along the shop houses which can be missed easily.Staffs are friendly and helpful.The location is about 7 mins walk from Shuanglian station. Ningxia night market is just 2 mins away. In the morning, there are local markets opp the hotel.On the day I stayed, it was crowded with students and was unable to use the washer which is on first floor. But it wasnt noisy considering so many students. Their breakfast is till 10am. And night snack bar , but I didnt make use of it. The room I stayed, the handheld shower head was not functioning properly, shower head power is good but it cant stay attached to the holder once I on the shower.it would flipped up. Since I was staying for a day, didnt bother to inform them. There were some mould in the washroom.Lacks hanging place for shower area. However, the location is good. Bed are comfortable. Overall, I would highly recommend for the location and I feel safe staying there.

Very reasonable price and quite clean and neat. It was also very quite so that you can really sleep nicely.

I highly recommend this place,reasonable price and very clean with great quality service and accomodating staff. The room and the bathroom was so clean. It is worth 1,699 NTD per night for double bed or times two if you convert to pesos but its worth it.Outside,there are food stalls

Rooms were small but clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet was a little lacking, Id suggest you have your breakfast elsewhere in the area.

Even of ITS not too close to MRT station but still doable for walk. Beside, the sidewalk is pretty and the hotel is just step away from Ningxia road night market. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, the air con works just fine but the breakfast is not varied for Muslim traveler like me so I just have toast and coffee while others eat hot pot lolBut overall was a nice stay, receptionist can speak English, all the staffs were friendly

Very conveniently located next to Ningxia night market and MRT. Not a bad hotel with fairly good amenities. 24 hrs laundry is dirt cheap for a basketfull of clothes. They also provide free mini bar snacks from 6 to 9 pm. Staff are pleasant. Someone ask abt fitness centre. It is too small to enjoy and smack right where the breakfast area is

It located at the outskirt of a night market and take about 15 minutes from Taipei Station on foot, may considered as convenient.Hotel & Room are new, clean, tidy and comfortable. Staffs are polite, friendly and willing to serve.Soundproofing of the room did good to reduce noises from hotel outside BUT not from corridor and sounds from lower floor, the later is unavoidable as sounds like chopping things conveyed via structure, that maybe shops downstairs need to prepare for business early in the morning.Well balanced dishes for Breakfast provided.

Really convenient location and comfortable enough for travelers. Cozy room with shared bath rooms and showers. Except one of our family member got viral warts on the foot from shared shower. Bring your own shower sandals!

Nice and big room with coffee and tea,flat screen tv,nice bed, the cr is so big i wonder why? The breakfast is good too many available food,,staff are nice specially the ladies in breakfast area..location is very good near night market and too many food eateries around the area..higly recommended

Pro:- very cheap room price- hot water is really hot and strong- Air conditioner is ok, slow but cool- clean- Breakfast is ok- location is close to street foodsCON:- Thin wall and windows. Youll hear nearby noises even pass midnight- Room is tiny. Fit two persons uncomfortably.- Trash collectors come at 4AM and they talk very loud.Bottom line: if you value your sleep time, dont stay here.

very recommended when you are in Taipei. you can use the kitchen to warm your food. clean and nice beds. friendly personal. good location near night market.

Neat, comfortable, daily housekeeping, friendly staff, like the buffet breakfast and I especially love the happy hour start at 6pm. We can bring our take away food from the night market to enjoy at the cafeteria with kitchen utensils, drinks and snacks provided.

Lovely hotel especially considering the big size and the low price. The key card dorm system is a little eccentric but it doesnt matter that much - location and friendliness are two more reasons to look at staying here if youre budget-conscious

Close to train station and very near to night food market.. place is nice and clean.. toilet and common pantry area are properly kept and monitored by the personnel..

I was there one night, great price, clean, snacks in the evening bread jam,tea, popcorn complimentary, employees friendly especially Joe at the desk went out of his way to help me.

This station is part of the Red MRT line, which connects you to most of the tourist attractions.(5The low price, and(6The close proximity to the Ningxia night market.

Clean room, good price,and the breakfast was included, good location near all the tourist attractions. Only thing I would recommend is to put a night lite in the room.self service laundry was a plus.

The place is neat. They will clean the room and replace grooming kit everyday. The staff are helpful and speaks English. On the other hand, you need to take a cab to go to Taipei Main station, fare is 70-80 NTD.

Rooms are well kept, convenient location, 10minutes walk to the trains.

Good location(near the Ningxia Night Market and Dihua Street), nice staff, clean room. It’s has free snack after 6:00 p.m. We will book this hotel again! Highly recommended!Maybe improve the sound insulation would be better!

Nice hotel for shortstay in Taipei. Very convenient as its just 6 min. walk from ShuanLiang st. Friendly staff and their Breakfast was reasonable. Must try the garlic eggplant they serve.One more must try ust outside the hotel was the combo Fried Chix comes with a Small can of coke just for less than 100 NT.Also dont forget the Oyster Misua Soup.

Very friendly and helpful service desk following some issues with bookings. Accommodated the guests needs very well and our rooms were very comfortable, especially for the price. The included breakfast was relatively basic, but very tasty.

Staff was very friendly, especially Joe. His English was great, helped me find places to go, laundry, and held out bags extra time the day we left. And staff member Ting was very accommodating, I found the staff to always try their best to make my stay enjoyable. Good location, lots of rooms

Hotel located next to night market.But not very near to train station.Hotel provide simple breakfast, dont expect big spread.Staffs are polite and friendlyRoom are clean and nice, no window.However the room cleaning is at 4-5pm, kinda of disappointed when the room is not done upon returning at 3:30pmDont like the bed and pillow, not comfy at all

I had a great 1 night stay at their C U Hotel. Literally a 40 seconds walk to busy night market with lots of food. Small but comfortable room

The hotel was very clean. They staff was very friendly. And I love the fact that they have a snack bar available. It came in handy after a long day of walking around.

Nice new hotel with gym and great breakfast. Right next to it is a street night market and its relatively easy to go to, walking distance from red line MRT stop.

Its very clean and kind. We stayed really comfortably. Hears a front of Shanglian market bus-stop and near by MRT Shuanglian. MRT Tamsui, Main Station, CKS Memirial hall, Sun Yat-Sen Memorial hall, City hall, Taipei 101, etc... I could move all places conveniently. ^^ If Ill return to Korea tomorrow.
