COWamongus in Lubbock

Our family was born and raise in Lubbock, but forced to work in Houston. Along comes our TTU grad sons wedding and we all wanted to return to the area. COWamongus catered our sons wedding this weekend. Brian and his team did a fantastic job. Brian communicates very effectively with all the planning. The bride/groom were able to do a tasting to chose selections. The meal was delicious served hot, timely, and just as ordered. They cleaned the venue kitchen up spotlessly. Many, many compliments that is wasnt normal, dry, cold wedding food ! Outstanding job to this crew.

Always a great place! Some of the best burgers in Lubbock. Now called Red Raider Meats Restaurant.

They make everyone sanitize their hands and wear a mask. Inventory was a bit low and a lot of items didnt have prices on the packages. Seems like the prices are higher. Hard to beat the meat though.

Getting some thick cut pork chops and bought a frenched rack of lamb. The right cut and price. Special cuts are possible if they have the protien. Highly satisfying shopping experience. Heres what I did with the chops!

Wish this was a full-on restaurant! Great food items and honestly one of the best burgers in town. Plus you can also buy cut meats to takes home and cook. Best place to eat on campus and best place to buy meats in town.

Cowamongus serves the best lunch on Texas Techs Lubbock campus. You can also buy some of the freshest meat in the region to take home and gift to other carnivores. Theyve recently repaved the parking lot, located right across Indiana Avenue from the United Supermarkets Arena.

Amazing food hidden gem in lubbock!

I came here to try them out and just wanted to get a bacon cheeseburger, nothing else. I dont want soda, I dont want fried sides. But the lady at the front refused to ring up just a burger. I HAD to purchase the drink and sides with it. No way to just sell me a burger? No way. Throw in the bacon for free and keep the fries and drink? NO. Ended up paying 10.50 for a burger that was par and fries and a drink that I did not want or eat. Wont be coming back.They also do not take raiderbucks, but that doesnt matter too much.

The staff was very friendly! Showed me everything they had to offer and took the time to explain any products to me that I didn’t know about!They have some great specialty products!Great prices and the meat selection is well marked!

Absolutely the best hamburgers on campus. The breakfast burritos are pretty good too... sausage, bacon, or chorizo. Fries and tots are cooked when you place the order and you can get them covered in queso (mmmmm.... queso). BUT, someone should let the guy behind the register know that it only takes one screw-up to wipe out ten atta-boys. What a sourpuss. In the morning hes a sourpuss, at lunch hes a sourpuss. Few people (aside from Mark at the Fed-Ex on 82ndare pleasant all day every day, but this guy acts like he hates his job and whoever is standing in front of him. He appears to be some sort of management and its a shame that hes the morning/lunch face of the establishment.
