CHAWLAS2 VEG & NON-VEG - Non vegetarian restaurant in Bāzpur, India
CHAWLAS2 VEG & NON-VEG in Bāzpur
Description
Privilege
The food is really good, but the service is so horrible that I have to debate with myself if the trade off is worth it. The lady that’s usually there taking orders doesn’t seem to care about anyone standing at the counter waiting to order, in fact she’ll flat out ignore you.
MoreService was very slow. Called in an order told 25 minutes. Showed up after 25 minutes and had to wait an additional 25. Food was delicious though.
MoreVery bed custmere service plz I have request in owner plz change the staff thx so much
MoreThe food is junk the butter chicken looks like water with food dye and tastes weird and the naan is not cut into quarter. Also it took like 20 min to come even though they said it was ready, Waste Of Money Do Not Buy😡🤮
Moregobhi parantha comes in naan breadit was burntnot ordering again
One of the best tasting foods in area everything was on point tried it few times it just gets better and better each time we have it. Best butter chicken you can have in New York Five Star always!!!
MoreAmazing value for the price, if you come here make sure to check out Tunjis at 105 Tech Place.
MoreThe food is very delicious i went there and the girl in the front she is very nice and polite to me the best serving i love it
MoreSo Disrespect she was very rude she dnt know how to deal with customer
Very unprofessional when I order she was laughing at me I feel so uncomfortable this place has to closed permanently
MoreThe lady at front staff is very rude doesn’t know how to treat customers 👎🏿
MoreThis is lacha paratha- uncookedUnimaginable how can you serve raw food??Biryani had egg shells are you guys trying to serve people better or trying to make them sick the butter chicken tasted like malai kofta … the bill board says you are serving food industry since “1960” this is the kind of food to be expected ?? we came from hicksville all the way waited 45 mins for order pick up and got this kind of food. Terrible, Waste of time and money.Do Pay attention to these pics.
MoreThey call this as mango lassi 🤣🤣🤣🤣Playing with customers innocence👎👎👎
MoreThis was one of the best Indian restaurant Ive known I purchase food today instead of chicken tikka I received chicken tikka gravy less meat liquid gravy not the way it used to be. I drove for miles for the good Curry same with the goat carry gravy few pieces of meat watery gravy
Moreit was my first time ! delicious food fast service
I ordered two Goat Karradi and paid $30 ($15 for eachbut it was filled with bones (only 2 pieces of meat). I payed to eat meat not crunch on bones. Would never recommend to family or friends, very dissatisfied and disappointed in them.
MoreFood not cooked well . Gave us frozen bhaturas .no salt , bad service, bad attitude dont waste your money or time here👎🏻👎🏻
MoreNot cooked properly they gave us tarter sauce with malai tikka 😂😂😂😂Mint chutney had no taste no salt nothing cream chicken lol it was Kali mirch chicken😂😂😂😂Chawla2 since 1960

MoreThis place got the best food in nyc and everything they make is delicious all the services are fast and very friendly service
MoreBest food I ever had in east coast. service is little bit slow but it takes some time to make that much delicious food. Overall best experience. must try Palak panner if you are a vegetarian out of the world tastes. Butter chicken oh my God love be here again and again
MoreIndian 🇮🇳 food, my favorite is samosa, chicken Tikka masala, bastami rice and jalapeño Naan 🍚 😋 👌 😍.
MoreGreat tasting wholesome food. Authentic indian food. Highly recommend. Good prices too.
MoreNice clean restaurant. Food is just ok. Ordered chicken kebabs and some other stuff which was nothing amazing as far as taste goes.
MoreThis is my second time ordering from them from DoorDash and the service has been great. I ordered butter chicken with garlic naan bread and mango lassi and the food is great. The butter chicken tastes very good and it’s so creamy! The garlic naan bread is fresh and it’s great with butter chicken. The mango lassi is a great refresher and has a good taste from the yogurt and mango combination. I enjoy Indian food and this filled me with happiness!
More0 STAR ( DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ..so I end up calling 911..I order $20 food . when I called them after 1 hour, ask is my food ready..the owner replied very offensive words and he said i order for $20 not $1000 . I even had recording the called .which I heard them clearly thought phone got hung up.I show up to restaurant owner came out and claimed that was delivery guy and he left the job ..will never order again.
MoreOne of the best butter chicken I’ve had in New York, very similar to the one I remember I had in india. This is my go to spot for butter chicken and always will be.
MoreI ordered garlic naan and curry from them..naan was so thin feels like eating roti without garlic in it...then i ordered naan from other resturant they were fluffy nd good size...chawla has lost their quality now...they are compromising now...would never recommend nd order now.
MoreI found this place by accident just by passing by. Absolutely satisfied with my food. I got chicken tikka masala and it was super tasty. I got a small meal and it came with lentils and salad. My meal was delicious, haven’t had such a great meal in a long time. Thank you for s great food !
MoreOrdered a few items for a birthday party. Nasty watery chilli paneer, tasteless Shahi paneer and hard nasty undercooked koftas. Will never order again. All these 5 star reviews are fake!
MoreThe goat meat smells and the dal curry i ordered tasted super unhealthy. I am frm denver. I love goat curry so ordered 2 plates frm them. Overall i couldnt eat their food at all. Surprised cuz i love indian food. Wasted $45
MoreI just ordered lunch today and regret paying for it. NONE OF THE CHEFS were wearing a mask. One of them sneezed in the kitchen without a mask. Like seriously WTH!!! I should have left without taking the food but I felt bad. But will not be returning! There is a reason why we follow protocols and remain cautious during this pandemic. Looks like these people barely care and follow rules. I’m out and will not be returning. Save your money and order from a place where proper hygiene and protocols are followed. Really DISAPPOINTED!!!
MoreVery good food, if you want rice however, is another story, make sure if youre ordering more than one order to call the restaurant beforehand because theyre a bunch of twits that dont understand one rice cant serve more than one person, they will only give you one small rice. Ive had this happen many times and since the owner barely knows english its hard for him to understand. Pathetic, but the food is good
MoreWhat a lovely place! We went late on a Monday night, after arriving from Europe, and there was no hesitation when we said we wanted to eat in. The man behind the counter was so kind.We ordered the shahi paneer combo and then asked him to surprise us with a dish. Combos come with a salad, naan, AND dal makhani! He brought the most delicious mushroom dish to perfectly compliment our mild paneer. Spicy. The food was simply delicious!Thank you!!@wanderlustmoonduo
MoreWhat a gem, this spot is so good and for such an amazing price.Combo plates come with naan and dal makhani.Amazing flavor and spice on the dishes.Highly recommend this spot !@wanderlustmoonduo
MoreRestaurant serving Cuisines from India. Great taste, may be spicy if you haven’t informed them in advance of your tolerance for spices. Vegetarian as well as non vegetarian kebabs, curries, Indian flat breads, Naans, Grilled food too is available. Food is served fresh & Hot. They also deliver if the order is for a minimum price..
MoreThis rating comes courtesy of my wife. I was on my way home and decided to get some Indian food because my wife is a connoisseur. Pro tip: eating outside of your culture can be a digestive adventure. Ask for a recommendation from someone in said culture on what and where they would eat. Ok, so thats what I did. I called a colleague and asked for a recommendation for an Indian place. He said, "Oh, by all means go to Chawlas2, there food is great, authentic and the service is great. When I went there all the boxes got checked. My wife loved the food and I left there a happy hubby.
MoreI have ordered from multiple restaurants now in Richmond Hill and Kew gardens. These guys serve the best butter chicken 😍😋 and Dal makhni.breads can be better but that its understandable for delivery.nice size portion, and delivery is on time.worth orderingI highly recommend this place for food delivery.
MoreI ordered butter chicken and garlic naan.. it was very delicious and well served .. staff is very friendly.. the only thing i am disappointed is .. i had to wait a long time for the food.. otherwise all is good 👍🏻
MoreThe place is the mixture of fast food and sit down restaurants. Street parking, bathroom for guests. We ate there - metal utensils, melamine plates, glass glasses. However silver water pitcher looked fancy and authentic. Food is very tasty. I usually like Indian cuisine and this place didn’t disappoint. Mutton curry was tasty and mango lassi - too. The place is not fancy enough for a date or for a special occasion, but the prices are not that high either. Most customers on Saturday night looked like they were regulars and knew what they were ordering. We could see chefs prepare food through half open door to the kitchen. It is a good place to bring kids. Not too fancy that other customers would be giving you dirty looks if kids are not behaving like robots. I will be stopping there for mango lassi to go every time I drive by!
MoreSmall "hole in the wall" goldmine! Yummy food, but they did not have Vindaloo on the menu!?!?!?! I was bummed but only for a moment. Everything we ordered was delicious, nice size portions and excellent service. Worth visiting!
Morelook at this oily bhatura first time we eat at this garbej restaurant never gonna come back
MoreWe ordered food from here. The service is good and the food is pretty decent. The daal and briyani were tasty. It’s decent Indian food not great.
MoreGood, but just too hot. I realize Indian food can be spicy, but the server asked if I wanted the chicken with gravy, I asked if it would be spicy and he said not at all. I guess he might not understand what that means because my mouth was on fire. Otherwise good food
MoreOne of the best chicken biriyanis I have had ever and the chilli chicken was also really nice, affordable too:P
MoreDelicious food even at 10:30pm and great service. The waitress was incredibly warm and friendly. As a non Indian girl who loves Indian food, it can be a challenge to feel like you fit in at an Indian restaurant but she made me feel more than welcome. A great place for vegetarian food too! Thank you for making us feel at home!
MoreOverall, very satisfied. We ordered chicken tikka masala. Food tasted great - highly suggest garlic naan. Only thing, I wish there was more food on the combo platter. A little expensive for the portion. But hey, thats NY. Overall, two #thums up
MoreThe food is resonably priced and extremely tasty. They take care to make their food right. Some of their dishes are different than Ive had at different Indian restaurants, but not in a bad way. Its still very delicious, just spiced different. I was amazed to see Mexican cooks in the kitchen making this Indian food. They must have been taught well. Anyway, this is the the best authentic Indian fare in the area. This is strictly northern Indian fare. Anyone looking for disaster or idling or upmarket or any other south Indian fare must look elsewhere.
