CASA INFERNO - Pizza Restaurant in Tromso
Description
Privilege
Good pizza place with plenty of choices. I recommend the 7 cheese pizza and my partner loved his classic calzone. A negative is that they charged 18 NOK per person for the olives and almonds. These were already on the table when we arrived, so you dont have a choice (and we werent notified that these will be charged).
MoreShared pizza inferno and 7 cheese pizza. Delicious!
Amazing gourmet pizza restaurant! We arrived late from the airport and were just looking for something simple and quick after a long day of travel and jet lag. We wandered in to Casa Inferno shortly before they were closing. What we found was a warm, inviting restaurant ambiance that was unique and upscale without being pretentious. The staff were amazing, the decor was incredible, but the pizza was really the star of the show. From the classic Margarita to a hand made calzone, to an unforgettable pizza bianca, it was truly some of the best pizza we have had in Europe. Would highly recommend!
MoreOne of the best pizza Ive had outside Italy. Very friendly service and even the house wine was surprisingly good.Margherita was great. It was like it should be and the tomato sauce was especially tasty. Also tried the seven cheese pizza which was on the heavy side (duh...but also very good.
MoreGreat place, good atmosphere. The pizza’s may seem a bit pricey, but the quality and toppings make them worth it! Very friendly and attentive staff too
MoreExcellent pizza, good wine and beer assortment. Personable staff in a unique environment. 3 of us had one pizza each, two drinks, and dessert for a total expenditure, including tip, of $140.
MoreGood, italian pizza. Inferno is recommended for a surprise!
Let’s start saying that this is the best pizza I have eaten so far in Norway. Simple, crusty and very tasty with good quality ingredients.I am Italian so I can definitely recommend this place! You pay a 2 euro service fee but water and olives/almonds are free.3 stars for 2 reasons:Expensive! 43 euro for 2 Margherita, more than Luxembourg or Japan! Crazy! The service was a bit sloppy. The restaurant was almost empty, and the waiter let us sit down in front of the entrance sitting one a long table just a span away from another guy.I mean… the rest of the restaurant is empty, let us sit down in another place! No other tables were occupied while there.Funny thing is that he needed to check for a minute or so where to let us sit… that was funny…
MoreVery cozy and intimate restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. The group loved their pizza. However, I think mine was a bit salty and lacked some flavor. The prices were also a bit high.
MoreOrdered a formaggi pizza with 7(!!Cheeses on, ordered additional salami on top, because some quattro formaggi pizzas might be a little bit " dull" in taste. Let me put it this way, the salami was unnecessary 😊 The pizza bottom was first class and so was the pizza topping also. The people working at Casa Inferno was splendid, a real good service. I will be ack 😊👍
MoreGreat place with tasty food, the atmosphere and the music was amazing and so were the staff✨
MoreBest pizza weve had outside of Italy. The staff is very friendly and speaks fluent English. The almond appetizers are really nice as well. Atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely. Well defenitely be back!
Moreabsolutely best pizza in town! just amazing! we really enjoyed it, especially the genuine italian! thanks a lot!
MoreExcellent pizza, wine, beer and staff! Very cool steampunk decor also 🚂
Vast choice of pizza, fresh ingredients and best Tiramisu you will get in Norway!
MoreVery good pizzas, a proffesional run restaurant with good service, real italian menu and extended drinks listing.
MoreVery autenthic restaurant, super tasty and exciting menu, also very nice staff!
Best pizza in Tromsø, by far! 💝 🍕True Italian pizza, just like in Italy 🇮🇹. This is the one and only pizza!Lovely careful staff, fast service, delicious appetizers from the house (olives and some special baked spicy almonds), wonderful noir steampunk ambiance with a romantic touch.Definitely totally recommended. ❤️
MoreBeing from New York, I am biased, however the pizza here wasnt very good. It was soggy and needed to be eaten with a knife and fork. The margherita pizza sauce was watery and sweet/ not very tasty and soaked into the dough making it spongy. We also had the truffle white pie and it was also spongy and had ingredients plopped on randomly. When trying to spread the truffle, it just smeared the cheese and made a pizza soup. The service and ambiance were great, as was the antipasti, but the pizza just wasnt.
MoreTasty pizzas, very friendly service and fair prices for Norway
Pizza was good, wasnt expecting to find white pizza on the menu. Staff were friendly & service was quick.
MoreCasa is probably the most premium pizza restaurant in Tromsø, staff is nice, and they serve pizza the way it is meant to be served. It is however usually quite packed, so booking is recommended.
MoreBest Italian Pizza in town. Very friendly staff. Cosy and authentic family restaurant flair.
MoreDelicious pizza in a grate atmosphere along with a large availability of local beer. The staff makes the experience grate by being helpful and always available.Would recommend for any pizza lovers
MoreNice place, quite centrally located. The staff are very welcoming and nice. It’s great if you wanna have a cheaper dinner or just some Italian dishes. The pizzas were nice. The dough was good but it could have been better in a different type of oven. We also tried some bruschettas that were very varied and tasty. The house wine was cheaper than in other restaurants. They also provide some black olives and almonds with salt and chilly flakes for an added 18kr service fee.
MoreBest pizza in Tromsø but our server has been a bit sassy and opinionated every time she was serving us. Also, don’t just assume everyone is a “lady” at the table please :)
MoreExcellent pizza towards the pricey end of Tromsø restaurants, but worth it. Friendly service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.
MoreReally good pizza ! delicious dough and quality ingredients. Very friendly staff, they attended us almost at the time the place closed, that is greatly appreciated! I recommend this place!
MoreVery good Pizza Inferno and friendly service. Food came quickly. Please note that they bring you almonds and capers and charge you 1,80 € per person. However, you can eat as much as you want of it and they always bring new almonds and capers when you have eaten them up.
MoreSome of the best pizzas I have ever eaten! Very traditional and italian food - u can taste the love and passion with which they were made. The location is also fine and near the Center of the city. Give it a try if u want to eat Italian food in Tromsø, u can’t do anything wrong.
MoreOne of the best Calzone and Pizza we‘ve ever had.As appetizer you got nice little olives and salty, spicy almonds (really good)! The furnishing is also very interesting and nice.
MoreSpectacular pizza... Book well in advance we tried 3 times before we got a table. Great staff (except for one guy who obviously just wanted to go home and wouldnt serve us properly. I made a comment to them about him everyone else was awesome.Great food and deserts were fantastic. Very nice atmosphere as well
MoreWe had an amazing evening at Casa Inferno, super nice atmosphere and the Food was very delicious, 6 Stars 😋
MoreVery nice Italian restaurant in the heart of the arctic capital. We were a group of 7 Italians and everyone enjoyed their pizza and their dessert. Fast service, good quality, normal prices. Wed recommend!
MoreI have eaten a lot of pizzas around the world, even in Italy. This is the best Italian pizza I ever had... here in Tromsø, made by Italians. Who would have thought? No pictures of the pizza, as it was consumed fairly quickly. The place is rather busy, but they tried and managed to squeeze me in anyway. Nice staff, nice restaurant, lovely food! Could have more craft beer, but not required. Will visit this place again.
More!!! AMAZING !! This place is the only place I have found that deserves a review from me. The NO.1 of pizza places I ever visited. -Chef/food critics/food lover
MoreWent to casa inferno following the google recommendations and do not regret it. Slightly pricey, but it has a nice variety of pizzas with different options compared to what you would normally found in other restaurants.
MoreSuper helpful and nice and knowledgeable staff! Very cool atmosphere and theme (steampunk). The pizzas were great and so were the drinks!
MoreGreat restaurant. Possibly the best Italian pizza I have ever had (The Sicilian). Super friendly staff, cool interior and all in all a great experience. Would recommend booking a table!
MorePerfect pizza ever! I have ordered Inferno pizza which was super spicy and came to my table with flames! And Tiramiso as a dessert. Really delicious! Just a little bit unhappy about our red wine but thats fine. Dont forget to book table before hand.
MoreExcellent pizza, also very friendly atmosphere. Really worth visiting!
Authentic Italian pizza.Perfect for dinner.Good vibe.Super friendly staff and service.Great location.Would recommend to any pizza lovers.Tips: ask for chilli olive oil 🔥
MoreVery delicious pizza and very good service provided by staff try the famous inferno pizza its the best
MorePaid a visit after they opened one hour on new year. The restaurant started to get busy even though it was 5 pm.Apparently many people made their booking prior they’re arrival. The waiter directed us to our table. The seating is classic and romantic with candles on the tables. We received a free Italian olives and almonds. The almond was tasty and it was mixed with red pepper and oil olives. We ordered 2 margaritas. One of them with coperto cheese. Both are done perfectly in the wooden oven. The dough was crusty and yummy. It’s done from their heart. We took also the affogato which was really delicious. I never ate a vanilla ice cream that delicious in my life.Big thumb up to the team of the restaurant.
MorePerfect pizza, the only think I didnt like was that there was some small tax (18 NOKin the bill which was for the water, olives and almonds that were served when we got seated, and thats why I give 4 instead of 5 stars, because nobody told us that it will be included into the bill. The interior is quite nice and comfortable, the pizza itself was just amazing, the ingredients were perfect. Id recomend this place if you want to taste great pizza.
MoreVery cool service...looks like a real Italian pizzeria...I will go back there for sure!
MoreCozy place with nice interior. Prompt and friendly service. Pizza was good as well. Cards are accepted and they also do takeaways.
MoreGreat place to eat a pizza, also the service was great! The pizza size is big (at least 6 pieces), the ingredientes fresh and he beer great!A little expensive but depends on what you order.
MoreAbsolutely lovely place, amazing pizza well worth the extra price compared to the other pizzerias. The service is friendly and quick with a very wide range of beer produced locally.
MorePretty nice interior and setting was relaxed and quirky. Pizza was really great - toppings were unusual and base was thin and crispy. Attentive staff were helpful and friendly. Olives and almonds as a starter were a nice touch. The bill was pretty steep though but then again this is Norway.
