Reasonably priced and really tasty cocktails. The staff were great, particularly Max, who was friendly and attentive, and really knew his stuff.

Delicious drinks and large portions. Too bad that kitchen work on weekends only.

Very beautiful place to enjoy cocktails for scientific research. Beautiful place, interesting people and quality anything especially bars image and presnetation. Prices are fine even for locals. Writing this after I enjoyed my first old-fashioned and negroni. Thank you 😊

The cocktails were nice, nonetheless. The waiter Annette was extremely rude to my friend when she talked to her in russian if we could get the menu she said, and I quote " dont talk to me" after asking further, she just said that we should wait for the waiter to come. We are tourists from Denmark and I must say that it was very unappreciated to get this sort of comment from a place where we want to enjoy and spend our money.

The drinks in the bar was really nice, however, do not expect the nice attitude from the staff. I never experienced such a disrespectful and nationalistic attitude in the bar. The minute the waiter Anete heard us speaking russian, she change her behaviour so much to the extent that she wouldn’t want to talk to us, literally says “don’t talk to me”. I believe this kind of behaviour should not happen in the middle of Europe, where every nation should be accepted. That’s really pity that something like that happens in the middle of the city center!

The waiter Annata was very rude, because of Russian language. I asked her if I could get a drink menu when she answered me not to talk to her “не говори со мной».

The girl behind the bar was really rude with us, we were waiting for 20 minutes and she said that we were on the “wrong station”. It’s two steps to come to us and in the bar and we were 4 customers, and I was there with two of my friends

The waiters are a bit rude, the only one who was nice with us was the DJ. Also, the waiters had a mistake when we order our drinks.

The bar is located in a very nice spot of the old town and it is really cool for sime evening drinks. Also, the best service we had in the whole city. I would only suggest some more beers to be added to the list.

Fun and professional bartenders, variety of interesting cocktails. Busy on weekends and Fridays, happy hours. Food and snack options, possible to sit on the terrace with a view to old Town and historical Powder tower. Must visit!

Go there at happy hour *(1900-2100 & 2400-0100for double your drink order.Great place to relax after a walking tour of Riga, staff was very friendly.Try the cocktail of the week, usually a cheaper option, and sometimes more alcohol.Paid 6 euros for 2x large margaritas...cant beat that in most countries 😁

Very nice small place popular among students.Prices are good, the people working are nice. On the weekends too full due to its popularity so in case going there on a Friday or Saturday be ready to wait for drinks a while and to stand or dance because no place to sit. On the summer there is no problem with space because they have seating also outside.

I didnt get the chance to try the food but I can assure you that the drinks are worth a visit, during happy hour its 2 for 1. During this time it can be kinda crowded but there are tables outside in case you cant get a table inside. The staff seemed really professional and kind.

Great little bar that gets busy at the weekend. Nice vibe, decent music and good service. May be a little too busy for some at peak happy hour but worth a visit.

Cartel Bar is where the guys from 3 Pavari recommended that we visit after dinner. Conveniently located only 1 minute down the road, we topped up our wine, cocktails and black balsam from dinner with more cocktails from Cartel.Sitting at the bar watching Emile make cocktails to our liking was fantastic. My friend asked for a gin based cocktail that was sour. As Emile was making it she was questioning whether she should have been clearer about what she wanted e.g. not a negroni (!). However, Emile delivered and she said it was one of the best gin cocktails that she has tasted. I loved my amaretto based cocktail with limoncello (two of my favourite drinks!).Cartel is a small underground bar with a DJ and seating around the edge with a fun atmosphere. Don’t forget the epic happy hours early evening and then again between midnight and one. Grab the 241 cocktails!

I liked the location and interior. We havent tried any cocktails, but had traditional meal and desserts. Food was ok, but nothing special... you could easily find much better and cheaper place to eat in Riga. Didnt like the service... it was not attentive and very slow.(

Great location, great prices! We happened to get here just as Happy Hour (19:00 - 21:00started, meaning we could get 2 Long Island Ice Teas for €7 and two Mojitos for €6. We were really impressed with the quality of the cocktails for the cheap price. The bar is in a great location. Inside is quite loud, but we came outside to the courtyard underneath the turret of the Latvian War Museum. Would recommend to anyone coming to Riga - prices are great even outside of happy hour!

Excellent drinks and cocktails, really friendly staff. We were there on a really quiet Monday evening so it is probably biased but it was a really nice place to hang out. 4 drinks and a shot for 15 euros! Thats unbelievable!Comfy seats, good atmosphere. The toilet was dimly lit and I can imagine it getting pretty gross on busy nights.

Excellent little bar with friendly bar staff, great cocktails and very appealing prices and 2 for 1 offers. Although with quite small indoor space, it has a large outside terrace for when the weather is nice. Dont miss it when in Riga!

After whole day of shopping around Riga we were hankering for a drink and we saw nice entrance for a cellar bar. Next to the door said "Drink responsibly.. Or not." and as a Finnish person I was sold immediately and we tought to pop in.Bar was small but really comfy looking place that had nice music playing on the backround. We were only ones in there and the service was helpful but bit slow. We ordered some wine and beers, selection wasnt big but they had local products and bit bigger selection of drinks. After couple hours more people started pouring in and bartender raised the volume and changed the music style for something bit more modern and groovy. At that point we left to take our shoppings back at our hotel and find something to eat.Later that night somehow we ended up back to Cartel and there was whole new atmosphere. Place had nice lights, dj, it was full of people and had more bartenders. At that point service was quicker and mood was really nice. Worth to visit again!

Happy hour every night, two for one on cocktails from 7 to 9. Has some kind of Latvian stand up(?evening on Thursdays, so its busy and incomprehensible then.Otherwise, its great
