Butterflies Cafe and Tea Room - Tea room in Clevedon, United Kingdom
Butterflies Cafe and Tea Room in Clevedon
Description
I can’t lie but me and my girlfriend found ourselves in cleavdon and popped in for c a take away coffee. We were greeted with smiley teenagers with great customer service. The coffee, and this is going to sound far fetched, might have been the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. My girlfriend agrees. We will be visiting cleavdon more regularly.
MoreFood good but service not great and coffee pretty terrible. Staff were nice and polite but missed items, one drink had a hair in. Hopefully just a bad day.
MoreLovely place unfortunately over priced coffee £14 for two lattes and two small decaf Americano won’t go again purely because over priced, I have coffee out regularly. Must say food looked lovely, but unfortunately won’t be trying it
MoreHad a good old fashioned breakfastService great good value
Avoid. Waited 45 minutes for burnt suasage and onions. The Asian omelette was vile and so spicy.
MoreLovely homemade breakfast. We will be back
Lovely cosy place.
Make sure you dont leave it too late. Very popular and rightly so. Lovely food and excellent service
MoreHad a takeaway and the food was superb. It was piping hot with spices and flavours simply perfection. My dinner guests had lived in KL Malaysia and insisted I phoned Butterflies to pass on their compliments. The Staff are lovely too and nothing is too much trouble. Now that is what I call Service.
MoreIts raining. Why am I in shorts and sandals? The cafes in town are queuing out of the doors. I stumbled into this place, dampish! What an unexpected surprise. Ive just eaten a hefty breakfast with the tastiest bacon Ive had in decades. On top of that, loose leaf tea too.
MoreGreat little tea room with great staff and menu was a little different from the norm.well done
MoreFantastic Latte and Butchers sausage and poached egg brekkie
Loved this place we found by accident didnt know it was there the food was good and the staff very friendly and helpful will definitely go there again now we know where it is
MoreIts cost just shy of 40 quid for 3 cheese toasties, 1 ham sandwich and 4 drinks. That averages 10 pound per person for a basic cheese/ham toastie (nothing fancy about itand a coffee.Lovely staff but absolute rip off. Go to the Pier cafe instead its a fiver for a chip butty
MoreGreat and quaint cafe. Loved the breakfast and coffee.
Very friendly staff and gorgeous cakes, taste amazing! Cant wait to try other flavours 😋
MoreExcellent cafe with an Asian twist and friendly owner
Food was not bad. It took an exceptionally long time for our food and drinks to be served. Quite expensive for what it was
MoreGreat food and service. Friendly staff.
Lovely friendly welcoming staff, really nice atmosphere great coffee & cake.
The food is very good but I had to go home and change my clothes because of the strong smell of cooking. A good extraction system needs to be fitted in the cooking area.
MoreLatte was nice.....fruit scone had 2 currants in.
A Lovely place 😊 Friendly owner & staff & nothing was to much trouble 😊 Would definitely recommend a visit 😊My friend & myself visited twice & we are both vegans 🌿
MoreA cute little cafe, Had a nice chocolate milkshake while visiting with my family and staff were very accommodating.
MoreLovely brunch, great service and a little mooch on Hill Road made for a lovely morning.
MoreFood was ok, surprisingly expensive. £8 for a baked potato with cheese & beans. Being generous that can only be £1 worth of ingredients if that, huge mark-ups on the food, seems a bit like ripping off the mostly older clientele.
MoreVery nice coffee and cake. Friendly staff
Wonderful place for a takeaway coffee with a lovely friendly owner. Really nice Thai menu for takeaway.
MoreLove to sit and have coffee and a sausage sarnie at least once a week. The Thai takeaways have been wonderful.
MoreLoved it in a time of need. Friemdly, good foodj amd not expensive!
Lovely cafe. Great food. Personal service. Just what you need from a cafe. And it feels nice and intimate.
MoreCosy little cafe, lots of food and drink to choose from and also friendly staff. Situated on a road with independent shops and close to the sea front makes for a nice walk after.
MorePleasant little place for tea and cake. Soya milk alternative and vegan cake available.
MoreHandy place to refresh after a meeting. My companions gluten free cake must have been very good as she didnt offer me any but I can vouch for excellent expresso. Friendly and fast service.
MoreNice cosy place with warm and welcoming friendly staff. Good collection of loose leaves tea and handmade coffee with a selection of brunch breakfast and cakes. Loved the decor, tables layout and especially the China cups and saucers
MoreDelicious lunch. Very friendly staff. Recommend the Greek style salad.
Lovely little cafe with a great selection of cakes, coffees, tea and also a normal menu so there is plenty of choice. The staff are friendly and helpful and the overall appearance and atmosphere is one of a cute and lovely English tea shop. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our visit sitting outside in the son whilst enjoying the delicious cakes and tea.Great place and will visit again when I am in Clevedon
MoreUnpretentious cosy typically English tea room style cafe. Clean and careful management. Clear allergy advice. Service friendly and prompt. Breakfast and lunch Menus clear and inviting. Tea choices. Specials menu adventurous and enticing. Interior newly refurbished. Just right to meet a friend for coffee or lunch.
MoreWe both had Panini which were nice, coffee cups could do with being larger!
I ordered an Egg Mayo sandwich. What arrived was a warm, undercooked (and presumably friedegg smothered in tasteless mayonnaise and packed into a basic French stick, complete with two or three leaves from a supermarket iceberg-based salad bag and some tomato. Nothing was seasoned, there was no dressing, and for the pleasure of nausea I paid around £6.Avoid.
MoreFriendly traditional tea, cake, breakfast and lunch cafe with traditional, older clientele. Very good loose leaf English Breakfast tea.
MoreWonderful service, great atmosphere and good value for money. Had a lovely goats cheese salad and it was gorgeous!
MoreA lovely cafe and they serve heavenly cream tea. Staff is very welcoming, truly a hidden gem.
MoreA lovely privately run tea / coffee shop offering a wide selection of home made cakes and puddings. They also do a variety of hot food at reasonable prices in a very friendly atmosphere.
MoreWent for tea and cake today - dreadful service - had a pot of Earl Grey tea for two and the teapot was only half full served in a not very clean looking teapot. The shortbread cake was just slapped together with caramel stuck on the sides and had a very weird taste so left that. Asked for a tea strainer for the leaf tea and this was filthy dirty. The toilet needs a good clean and update too. The lady Chef was wondering in and out of the cafe in what can only be described as a none too clean black jacket - all very unhygienic - needless to say we will not be returning - dont waste your money.
MoreThe scones and jam were delicious, though the hot chocolate lacked a good chocolate flavour. Unfortunately the service was very slow though not unfriendly.
MoreNice coffee shop, scones delicious, real tea refreshing but hot chocolate tasteless and service slow. Dogs not allowed inside but there are two tables outside where got can sit with a dog.
MoreSmall and cosy trendy cafe feel with great selection of cakes and snacks. Outside seating on the main road.
MoreTraditional friendly tea room with some nice food dishes which surprise. Not the most modern but then you would go to Tiffins for a posher tea?
MoreLovely good quality food.Drinks very hit, but you are in no rush to drink them.Very relaxed venue and hair relaxed staff.
