Wonderful winery with very affordable prices! Got a tasting for $5 ( and she gave me an additional free sample!Super-friendly and their store cat Miss Kitty is adorable! Highly recommend!

Ill never go back. After bringing customers to this establishment for years, I was treated like a door stop. My clients were emmbaresed for me and asked to leave. Never again. Too much competition with Running Vine and Andersons up the road. Dont waste your time.

Very nice wines, great staff. Cool garden seating so nice and relaxing while sipping the tasty wines! Prices seem to be very good..we got 6 tasting for $5..while just down the road a ways we paid $10 for only 4. The wines here were also much better..way to Butler!

Our tasting attendant Debbie was excellent and we enjoyed every wine we got to taste. We took home a bottle of vineyard red. A nice quiet place to do an inexpensive and delicious tasting. They have board games and a house cat which is a lot of fun.

This place is amazing. Great selection of wines plus they have games to play in the study. Love going with Cupcake

The wine is very good but the woman who runs this place is extremely rude. We came in with a group to taste wine and she told us to go sit in the back because there were too many of us. Then she forgot about us! She finally grudgingly allowed us to approach the tasting bar but only some of us were able to taste wine. She was "far too busy" to pour for the rest of the group. We wont be back.

Great time today sampling Butler wines!!! Lisa started us out and we enjoyed chatting with her. Then Jared finished out our tasting and was also great to talk with and enjoy the wines and ports. It was such a fun afternoon. Try the Blueberry Obsession and Traminette!! And at 8 samplings for $5 it’s a great deal. Cozy atmosphere and genuine. Will definitely go back again!!!

Cozy wine tasting with friendly staff and a fabulous selection of wines. Port style, dry, semisweet and fruit wines. A must see when in Chesterton. Great price for 8 tastings!

I am a fan of the “sweet wine” and Butler has a large selection of fruit-based wines to choose from! I highly recommend their Blackberry Wine. I also enjoy the adorable tailless cat that lounges around the property.

Visited this winery for the first time on September 8, 2018 and I had a great experience. The location is small but the wine selection was nice. The price for the tasting was excellent! Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it seemed to be a tense work environment between the employees but they were nice to us.

Even the hubby liked the wine so 5 stars!

Great ambiance, great wine, super nice service. We had a coupon for a free tasting and ended up buying three bottles! I look forward to attending another tasting soon.

I attempted to walk in with my service animal, and I was greeted at the door and told no animals were allowed on the premise. I stated it was a service dog, and the lady yelled back to a woman in the back who screamed “well do they want to get attacked by the cats.” We walked away at that point because it is not my job to educate businesses on being ADA compliant.I was unable to try the wines, but being non-compliant with the ADA makes this place inaccessible to be and a 1 Star.

My boyfriend and I stopped by on the way back from Michigan City and really enjoyed our experience. The wine was delicious, Debbie was delightful and the shop was very cute. Highly recommended!!

My wife, son, and I stopped in for a tasting along the way back to Chicago from Michigan. On a Monday afternoon it was relatively quiet and Debbie behind the counter was happy to spend time advising us on the right wines for our palates and pouring our selections. While our son was happily occupied with a wooden train set, we enjoyed all 6 wines we tried. My wife ventured into the dry wines while I went toward the sweet & fruit - all were excellent! Well worth the stop for any wine enthusiast!

Lisa and Joe BUTLER who own this winery are the two nicest PEOPLE you will ever be privileged to meet, the wine is great and you get free wine tasting loving people i have ever met in my time here in chesterton love you Joe and lisa <3
