Busanjib - Restaurant in Koyang, South Korea
Good Halal resto in myong dong, If you get off from myong dong station and walk to night market, You will find first ABC Mart on your left, Turn your face to the right, you will find a smal way (isleto this resto. The Cashier can speak Malayu and understand Bahasa.
Tucked away in a narrow alley in Myeongdong area, these restaurant(downstairshas limited food offerings. The pricing does not correspond with the serving/portion. Tastewise, just fair.Environment- small joint but condusive. However, the staffs were talking too loud in Malay among themselves which I thought should not be as customers were eating.Halal option given is okay after shopping in Myeongdong, however its a first and a last for me since its not value for money for me and only so so in taste. The BBQ upstairs was not open for me to try. It just did not appeal to me. I came because of other Malaysians’ suggestion.NOTE:Be aware that this restaurant charges 3% on top bill if you pay by card instead cash.I heard the staff told the customers when they came to pay over the counter
Korean halal food in korea.. worth to try
If I could put -10 stars I would. Don’t go to this place!!!!! It’s literally the worst Korean restaurant ever and a rip off. There was barely any options on the menu, food wasn’t fresh and the portions were so small and so expensive compared to other Korean restaurants in Korea. I’ve been there with a friend on summer and we still regret our choice.
Don’t even know why this place bothers calling itself halal when it basically only sells seafood like raw octopus. This place is extremely overpriced for what it is - the inside is practically a dump and that’s not even the right word to describe it. The old lady inside was really rude and dismissive as she saw me change my mind and leave. The customers in there seem to be soulless and ignorant of the menu’s price, and are essentially a mirror of the staff, so there’s no surprise that they’re there. This place is literally expensive though - even the best restaurant in London doesn’t cost as much as the basic “halal” menu here.
Great food. There is space for pray.
Absolutely delicious food. We tried the bulgogo, nasi goreng and shrimp. Five stars
This is what you get for 12,000 won. Not acceptable.
Very nice halal restaurant to enjoy Korean food. The people are very nice and the service is great. Not fancy but warm and cosy 🥰
Very rude! The old woman is very rude!My friend took photo of the menu to recommend her family members then she gone mad and asked her to delete! The food wasn’t like in the pics. Small portion and expensive also tasteless! I would never recommend people to go to your restaurant. We asked for four rice but she gave 5 . We felt too lazy to return the extra because she’s talking too much and impolite! When we wanted to take out of our money she approached us. We didn’t feel comfortable. Please fire that waitress!
good service. great food. a place for Muslims to have halal food in Seoul
Good Restaurant!! Good service !!! Good taste!!Staff really friendly 😁 Most Recomended restaurant for indonesian people specially muslim , around myeongdong!!
This is by far my fav Halal restaurant in Myeong-dong.
The lady boss is a nice, friendly and jovial lady. Other than Korean, she speaks a little bit of English but she may prefer speaking in Japanese is better if you can speak it and cant speak Korean. The foods pretty good and I appreciate her providing of halal Korean food so much. A lovely experience overall!
Lady is very nice. They serve halal Korean food.
Korean cuisine with a bit mix of Malaysian taste.. Halal too..
Missed travelling to Seoul! Nice place to have your craving.
We are back here after 3 years. What is great to know is they will be opening up another 2 storeys. 2nd floor will be bbq and 3rd floor is a prayer room. If you are going after 3rd Dec 2019, you are in luck.Indeed still a hidden treasure while shopping at Myeongdong. We went for early dinner and by 6.30pm. The place is packed.
Halal korean food. Moslem friendly. It has prayer room. You can order bibimbab, ramyeon, etc.
Really enjoyed dinner and lunch here 😍🥰👌🏻 squid in chili sauce (ojjinggobokeum)👌🏻 sautée glass noodle with mushrooms (japchae)a👌🏻 side dishes (banchan)👌🏻spicy tofu seafood soup (sundubu jigae)Would recommend this restaurant to spicy food lovers 😉Facilities:✅prayer room (moslemon 3rd floor✅halal certified foods✅toilet✅wheelchair-users can access first floorThose who are using Naver, you may not find it on your map - but search on the map with block 11-4
The grill mackerel? I think.. IS SUPER DELICIOUS. Weve tried few dishes and all approved. The taste is great and their service is fast. Free refillable plain water. A bit difficult to find the restaurant but worth well. Halal place for muslims.
The food is way too overpriced for the little amount you get. We only came here because one of our friends only ate halal.Of course this restaurant is halal. Most of the menu has seafood. If you order a dish with meat like bibimbap, you would only get a miniscule amount of ground beef. Traditionally, bibimbap has thick strips of marinated beef. This was about double the price of bibimbap in any other Korean restaurant. The portions of the food in general was ridiculously smaller than any other restaurant in the country.Youre better off eating at the food stalls or at a vegetarian/vegan restaurant, or sticking to a seafood dish at a regular restaurant. The menu is expensive and theyre clearly taking advantage of the little halal food options in the area. The staff was also standoffish and the bathroom didnt have an area to wash your hands at all.
The first korean meal i tried! I came here twice as its located in Myeongdong! So strategic, a Muslim should come here!
The only halal restaurant i can find in Myeongdong.Abit pricey due to the area, understand. Ordered alot, mostly all are delicious. Big portion. Muslim traveller should come and try. Recommended.
Came here on Saturday and again on Sunday for dinner after tiredly walking around Myeongdong shopping street. The place is slightly hidden in one small alley. The saba fish and ginseng stew chicken is recommended. Big thank you to one of the guy staff for coming out after us as my wife left her new phone on the table after leaving.
I think the food is ok, but its a lil bit pricey compared to other halal restaurant.. located in myeong dong
Food alright but a little bit overpriced probably because most muslim came knowing their halal status. 👌
I went to Seoul in last April and almost everyday i ate my late lunch and/or dinner at the restaurant for 5 days. Highly recommended for the food. My fave - sundubu jigae. I hope that we can find more halal restaurant like this in Myeondong. 😎
This is one of places if you need halal food in Myeongdong. Although we found it pretty difficult to find the spot by following gmap, it was nice. The ladies served us in a friendly way, even showed us some photos of Indonesian people when they figured out we are Indonesian.First, we were served with appetizer; rice, seaweed, teri fish, and kimchi. We were also given mineral water and kurma (it was ramadhan). If you are not used to eating much, one order per person will be enough. I went there in May 2019, and the price for most of the food is around 10.000 won.
Good food. Decent size. Free flow seaweed and kimchi. Halal too!
Located nearby Myeong-dong area, look for Nature Republic outlet, then you need to go to the narrow walkway. The ahjumma is friendly. They have limited menu and the portion is quite big, so the price is at the high side. This definitely convenient for Muslim to find Halal food. And no worries, the food is superb! Totally recommended!
Overpriced. We try beef and octopus hot pot. 40,000 won. Too expensive but the taste is so so. The only good thing is its halal and at myeongdong premium area.
Delicious bibimbap. The anchovies side dish is really delicious.Price wise, cant comment much as the restaurant is at middle of Myeongdong and the food is really good and halal.Very popular with Malaysian tourists.
nice...its labeled Halal Food...the location at the narrow street (car can not pass... its only 3 minutes from ibis hotel myeong-dong ... I try bibimbap the price is 8,000 won ...there is fork also (see the picture hehe... other menu like ikan bakar (fish barbequethe price is 30,000 won. There is a toilet, wastafel (hand washing). Alcohol is available for non muslim. The taste quite good. The space can be for arround 25 people/seat.
Stuck in a small alley in the city. Not worth price For the Food! Too expensive 150,000won = USD$138.For small 4 bowls of rice. Shredded Seaweed, omelte 1small piece saba ,one ramen bowl, one smallsquid The hot pot Cost in picture cost $50,000won.the quality of food price vs price my opinion , been to better. Super over priced for the food. Period! But if in dire need of halal food.Go and try this restaurant. Their staff are very friendly but the food is alright. If i be really honest hmm........
If you are hungry after walking around aimlessly at myeong dong, this will do.. oyster pancake & bimbimbap was quite nice.. tobbeokki was too plain..but with the price you can get better at other places
This is the place of halal korean food. If you talked about taste, come and enjoy this. But i you want a cozy, sorry, this place will not suit your expectation.Nice food guys!
Halal food in myeongdong area. Every food was so delicious.many Variety of menu.
I just order the cheapest food from menu, thats bibimbap, because the other is expensive. The price here too touristy. I realized that the food is not should be like that when it comes with dry rice like re-heated rice (i know that rice in korea is sticky and soft). The amount of sauce is a little if you compare with the portion of rice and its not blend well. The kimchi is little bit bitter, the worst that ive been eat in Korea. When its called bibimbap, no, it should be not like that. It just like i eat in other place, not in Korea.
Nice halal restaurant. The bugolgi is good 👍🏻. Walk along myeongdong street, the shop alley next to an Apple reseller store
A halal restaurant in Myeongdong area. It is placed inside an alley, make sure to read the signs carefully because its not that obvious. My friends and I ordered Hot Pot Bibimbab (10,000 KRWand Seafood Ramyeon (10,000 KRW). Wifi is available.
Loved the ikan asam pedas and spicy squid. When we came not much of people so kinda cozy. Expensive Price already had in mind so we came later using excess budget of the day or day before. Good and fast service.
The red ricecake is superb. Ramyeong taste more like maggie kari.
Staff has bad attitude, overly priced and taking advantage of Muslim tourists. Food was "meh." Dont go to this place.
The owners are so kind and generous. They gave our kids extra plate of rice and eggs for no charge m. We ordered the Bibimbap and the rice cake. The food was tasty!
Was a terrible experience, Nothing special with no-taste cooking, oily oyster egg and expensive food price. I went there because of the overrated comments by some of the people here. I was so regret. There are many more halal restaurants to go for in Myeongdong/Seoul. Advisable to avoid this Shop. The rating is below the par.
Its kinda difficult to find halal restorant in Seoul, and its located in Myeong-dong, placed where all tourist go shopping in seoul. Big portion to share, i love the Samgye-tang (chicken gingsengso much! Perfect for winter food 💕
Nice place, nice services. Halal korean food in myeongdong. We had our dinner here after shopping some cosmetics.
Muslim friendly (uses halal meats but sells alcoholdelicious food prepared generously by friendly aunties thatll cure your craving for moms home cooked food. Average meal for two is about ₩40,000-50,000 depending on what you order. The bulgogi cooked in soy sauce is highly recommended especially during really cold days.
The owner was nice and can speak Japanese very well, but the waiters quite rude (maybe because they cant speak English and Japanese). I ordered Nasi Goreng Daging and it was served with Kimchi. Delicious.
