Beautiful city, like you are in Paris
The service is excellent and being a Hop-in Hop-Off concept, its perfect for those tourists who are in Buenos Aires for a short time and would want to visit all important places within a day.
This is the BEST way to see the city!!! There is simply no better way to get to see everything and then decide where you want to go back and spend time. You just hop off and on where you like. The price was fair and we ended up doing the 2 day which was worth it and allowed us a free trip the next day to the port.3 stars because the sound needs some work - cuts out of stops halfway through a city fact. Also, a couple of the stops were closed without notice so we waited and waited until we called them and found out. Also, it was a gorgeous day and they didnt have the top open!!! You can see 90% more when the top is open.Overall a great way to see the city.
An utter waste of time and money. I feel so angry and frustrated at how poor this was. I have previously really enjoyed many bus tours around major cities. However this is basically a con. First of all, we waited 2 hours in the first instance and the bus never arrived. Then when a bus did show up at a different spot I honestly couldnt believe how bad it was. The audio quality is the worst I have ever heard. They couldnt even get an English speaking person to do the voice-over for the English option. The "information" given included such great insights as "this building used to be a factory, now it is an HSBC bank" and "This area is know for being the coolest". Then you had to contend with the driver announcing every stop, inevitably speaking over the already hard to hear audio. Buy a guide book and a bunch of taxis and save yourself from this sham.
Though yesterday was just busy so gave them a pass but today is worse. Just left this whole group of people with room on the bus. Down not have or run enough buses for the tickets sold, especially foreign tourist that are charged $4500 peso for 2 days, residents only pay $1500 .. if you are in decent shape take taxi you can get to most the centers for $600 pesos and we were 3 so spent 13500 peso or 11 round trips on taxi and then walk main things are grouped together or try Grayline RED BUS. I sadly paid cash or would dispute transaction not worth it. They do not have scheduled stop for staff so they randomly stop for smoke breaks and drinks and bathroom. Now wasting another 30 minutes of my time. Very slow and inefficient to board.
Must-see atraction. It would be even better if they accepted foreign currency.
Ideal for a lightning history lesson of Buenos Aires. The buses have 2 levels and an air conditioned sector in the upper deck which was highly appreciated. Docking a star because the tours audio was off a couple of times and had to be readjusted.
Great way to see Bs As.
Very efficient and on time. Big seats and a small snack make the trip more enjoyable
Could be better for the price they charge! Overloaded, some conectors to conect the earphone to listen the tourist guide doesnt work, stay in the upper floor in a sunny day is almost impossible you can get a "sunstroke", the bus is not confortable!
Great day out on the hop on hop off bus. Mind you, it was a holiday so not much traffic. Only hassle was at the stop where I joined you needed cash or prepaid ticket, so do get your tickets online if you dont have local currency. Bus was frequent, good info on most of them, a couple had poor systems, I really enjoyed the 3 routes, saw so much.
Great way to see a lot of sights.
Terrible serivce. Rude drivers and guides. As it is they dont drive every 20 min as stated on website. Stood 10 m from station on plaza Italia so waved when bus came buy. Didnt bother to stop and just sped up. While guide just looked away ... Made me furious!
Average. Some buses were excellent, some awful, we had to change bus twice in 1 day due to problems with the one we were on. As for the tour information, one of the worst Ive been on. Very very little information as the bus was driving around.
Great way to see the city and get off wherever you like along the many planned bus stops! We feel this maximized our one day visit pretty well! Wear sunscreen if you plan to sit on the upper deck as it doesnt take very long to burn!
Nice way to explore the city! Get tickets on any bus stop or online not at the shop at stop 0, it’s very busy! You can do all 3 routes easily in 24 hours!
I think it is a good service. Not cheap. $24 dollars per person but it takes you around and show Buenos Aires. I’d recommend it
Great tour and great solution for a one day see it all
It was so great to be transported from place to place, getting off where I wanted, and getting on again later to go to the next place.I just wish I had more than one day.
Highly recommending this option to explore Buenos Aires! U will see all highlight and more.
Basically a scam. Usually enjoy bus tours on my first day in a new city, this is by far the worst we have ever experienced. 1 hour wait when we were supposed to be on a 20 minute schedule, and more than once we were turned away because the bus was full. English commentary is shallow and irrelevant because it does not correspond with the passing landmarks. Avoid at all costs.
Great way to see the city. Hop on hop off and 9 different languages available in the audio system
This service is a ripoff. It is oversold and at 11.30am we were told to come back the next day. A couple told us they waited in line for 2.5 hours to board. We could get come back the next day as we were flying out - still chasing a refund. We used the subway to get around a much better service. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE
This is expensive. We waited an hour at a stop for the bus to arrive, when there advertised time is 20 mins. The quality of service is not great on the bus either, and we were not able to get a spot on the top deck. I would just take normal transit next time.
Wast, audio quality is very poor. Route is long, bus has very limited seating
Terrible audio quality and I feel there must have been a translation problem too as the English version didn’t translate well at all. Not good value for nearly 1000 pesos per person
Lots of places to visit.
A great way to explore the city eventhough I have seen a lot before by foot.
This hop on hop off is affordable and a nice way to see the city. However the audio was having to be reset many times on the first bus I took, so I missed a lot of info. Later in the evening we got back on a bus and about 15 min later the driver told everyone to get off and another bus would come soon. Not really sure what that was about as it wasnt even at a stop.
The English version of the tour is a bit light on detail, with a lot of music playing in between the various locations. There are two buses to choose from, you need to take one to get to the start of the other. The loops are quite large as BA is well spread out. There was plenty of space on the buses when we were there (Easter). They start around 9.00 and end around 19.30 the two day pass was better value as there are a lot of stops you might want to explore further.
We had a very bad experience on the bus. It was full on the second floor and there were two seats in the first. They were blocked by another customer and the ticket taker from the company. She was called Eliana. When I tried to seat there Eliana told us to wait. We were very tired but we waited until she finished talking with the customer. That was a long 5 minutes. After that she rudely grabbed HER stuff from the seats and told us to sit down. It was her stuff! We could have been seated way before. She made another rude comment afterwards. She should not be allowed to deal with customers. We felt so insulted that we got off the bus at the next stop and waited 20 minutes for the next bus.
Wonderful way to get a layout of the city and check out which areas you want to see more of. I highly recommend it. They were even open on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
Great way to get an overall perspective of this busting cityWe started our time in BA by doing the HOHO bus, first on the Red route and then continuing on to the Blue Route. Busses run every 20 min. On the bus, downstairs it is air conditioned and upstairs it is open aired (but with a roof covering for shade). The elevated position upstairs gives you a unique perspective and is great for photographing and admiring the gorgeous architecture and vibrant city life. The commentary and music is a good source of information, especially if it’s a first time visit to BA. Doing the bus for 4-5 hours at the beginning of our trip help us plan / organise / coordinate the rest of our stay and make best use of our time. We felt it was time and money well spent.
First of all, the website says a different price than you actually have to pay. It was more than 50% more. The busdriver also said that they have changed the prices months ago, so I don´t understand why it´s not updated on the website. Secondly, it is stated that buses will come every 20 minutes.... well it´s more every 45 minutes to an hour!!!! Thirdly, some of the buses didn´t let us enter the bus even though we were able to see empty spots in the bus and on the top! One time two buses just drove by and didn´t even stop even though many people were waiting at the bus stop. Lastly, the service was terrible. bus drivers and stuff were very unfriendly. Not willing to give advice on places to see.All in all it was a terrible experience and an extreme waste of money.
Very long slow lines to buy a ticket. Could be way more efficient. It was hard to hear the speakers on the bus. The headphone jack didnt work and I couldnt get any other languages either. Probably a 3 star experience. Good way to see the city just temper your expectations.
Good service, price is reasonable, makes it a little easy to see the city, busses not too frequent
Excellent! Recommend for all, a fast and detailed trip trough the city. A good idea to overview the city and choose which places will visit with more time/details.
Great service and very good tour around all the most popular places of the city.
Quite defficient. I generally never use this kind of buses in European cities, since public transportation is quite good. Since distances for touristic places in BA are quite long and the subway doesn’t reach all of them, we bought two days, for around 40€, not that expensive in comparison. However, the service is terrible, most often than not, the audio guide didn’t work. Anyway, it’s local music 90% of the time. The actual descriptions are brief and they appear well after you pass the landmark. The worst is that most of the buses don’t have the retractable roof, so during rainy days there’s no usable room. Travelling downstairs is just like a normal bus, and you can’t see pretty much anything because of the window decorations. All in all, it’s only worth the price if you plan to visit all landmarks, including the hard to reach ones, like Caminito, or the Monumental.
Even the locals take these buses. Great way to see the city. Hop on hop off.
The Hop On / Hop Off bus service was great. It has 2 circuits that include everything youd want to see if just visiting the city for a few days. The period for the bus is 20 - 30 minutes and they seemed to be quite punctual on the day we toured, except for one bus that seemed to go missing in action.
If your in BA for only a day or so, its the best way to see it all.
We have taken the Hop on Hop off bused around the world and have been pleased. This one was disappointing. WE picked up the bus at the port where they have a kiosk selling tickets. Believe it or not CASH only. Then we were shuttled to pick up the touring bus.The sound track is old and needs to be updated. There was a lot of music between sites instead of narratives. We took 2 circuits and when they stopped at the first stop where their main office is. Instead of telling us to get on another bus which was leaving, we sat for 25 minutes.
Dont take this tour. You will wait forever for the bus. The headsets dont work. The service ends early. The service is a bit rude. Not worth the time or money.
Very nice tours but be ready for waiting one hour at the stops
For those trying to figure how to explore the city. This is your best choice. You will driven through the main attractions in town. You should purchase the ticket that last 48 hours. The first day you follow the tour and the second you use the tour as a ride and you stop to take pictures on your favorite spots. Then you wait for the bus as they pass through every 15 min.
This is the typical bus tour in every major city. Different bus lines will take you to different parts of the city. Buses frequent every stop in 20-30 minutes. Great value for seeing the city.
Best decision we made was to take the bus for get to know Buenos Aires. We went on the top a great view of 360 degrees
Great way to see the main attractions and popular neighborhoods of the city in a short amount of time. However, we found many of the headphone jacks did not work, the audio was of poor quality and poorly timed and our bus broke down.
Great way to see the City, the audio was appauling with it either not working, being out of sync or cutting in and out on all 3 buses we used.
