Bad service, exceptionally slow staff. Dirty glasses, serving the wrong table, people walking out because ordering takes way too long. Wrong food brought twice, charged the wrong items. Food below average and all-in all not worth it. Go to the next place

Understaffed for the school holidays waited 40 mins for a burrito and chips and chicken was so hard you could not chew it, not much choice at DFO..avoid if possible

Very bad experience, I was there yesterday for Friday lunch . We were waiting 45 minutes for 1burger and half a rack ribs !!my 4yrs old child was extremely hungry and I had to follow up my order 3 times which the last time the waitress offered 1chips for free however they didn’t even bring that to our table to apologise . I should have asked for a full refund but didn’t even bother to talk to those careless staff!! I will never go back again !!

Stood at the bar waiting to order, bartender said he would be right back. He wasnt, left to clear tables and do Uber. Absolutely awful food. Didnt get what we asked for, manager was slightly accusatory that we were wrong. Wish we walked out. Wont be back. Avoid.

Gusman + Gomez started the trend of overdosing their Burritos with rice. As a result I do not eat there any more. This place is just as bad. Maybe very poor people in Mexico eat this rubbish, but at $15 a go, its not a bargain. I will never eat at a Burrito bar in Australia again.

The staff were rude and did not listen when taking the order, then refusing to admit that they had misplaced the order. Paid extra for slow cooked pulled beef and instead got beef mince. They then attempted to argue, quite rudely, that it was slow cooked beef. Not once did we raise our voice, just politely asked for what we paid for.

Nice quick stop with good lunchtime specials and offers. Worth a visit if youre shopping at DFO.

Ate here today.. the food was below Burrito Bar standards... burrito fillings are not prepared correctly making a very inconsistent burrito.Also 90% rice and 10% chicken does not constitute to being a chicken burrito.They dont turn their bar fridges on early enough to chill the drinks resorting to serving warm beverages.If management does not jump on these issues I cant see them lasting too much longer.P.s. the woman serving us was exceptional at her job though.

I have never had such thin Quesadillas in my whole life. They hardly have any feeling and, it was so thin, the staff was so disorganised with our orders. I will never go there again if its still run by the same crew.

It’s is really bad experience this time. I have ordered large veg burrito with extra sauces but i got regular without any sauce. I’ll not prefer this store at all.

Giving this place a second chance and boy am I pleased. Ordered a side, two mains, a gin and a soft drink. Only ,$50 and service was great, everything came out fresh and hot. In about 7 minutes, really enjoyed the food and they made it exactly as I ordered it. Loved everything about our lunch. Will definitely be back, been to others butrito bar but this one is the best.

Never thought that a good restaurant just inside the DFO. This was my first time tried Mexican food, its really surprised me by their taco and torta burger. The burger served with a side of mexican fired. The hot bun with corn chips just a perfect match. Highly recommended their tasco, the hard one was crispy.

Service was fast and the staff were friendly and attentive. Food was tasty and didnt have to wait long. Kids were happy too.

The restaurant suppose to close at 4pm but the front staff told me that they can’t serve us at 3:30pm so does it make any sense. Very disappointed at our first visit.

Waited for over half an hour because the rice wasnt cooked yet. Honestly the wait wasnt worth it.

Horrible Experience.Myself and my work team of 7 ordered delivery via Burrito Bars website to our work. Burrito bar seems to use Door Dash as their drivers and when our driver arrived he was told that no order had been made. The driver than put us on the phone to a worker at Burrito Bar who procced to tell us that they dont do delivery and that they would not be making our food. We were also then told that if we wanted a refund we had to go to Door Dash for one.Eventually I had to go down to the store in person as money had been taken out of my account ($100 +for the order and their phones all of a sudden stopped working. When I arrived and asked for a refund or for the food to be made the lady at the counter gave me a filthy look and then said she would get the manager. The manager than came out and said that he was making the food now as they had an issue with their delivery system.After having to wait again for the food to be prepared I was given the food with the comment "is this finally everything that you want" I hadnt received my drinks and when I asked for these the person rolled their eyes at me.I have never left a review but after this experience I had to leave a warning, DO NOT go to this Burrito Bar. Not once during the whole experience did any of the staff including the manager apologise.A delivery to our work ended up taking up an 1 hour of my time away from work to deal with this issue. As well as the poor door dash driver who had initially driven their and been turned away.I have gone to other Burrito Bars before and had nothing but a positive experience.

Cheap but somehow still overpriced.Friendly enough staff but So Slow.Suggest looking at your kitchen bottleneck and treating customers as if you want them to come back some day.

Such hardworking bunch of staff members. With the amount of customer inflow, its reasonable to get loaded with orders & be abit behind in serving. Its not always the staff, its sometimes the customers as well- who dont know what to order & what to specify which results in longer wait in the queue. The food was served well and warm. Thanks for your service guys.

We just had our first time going to burrito bar this afternoon. I have ordered naked burrito. On the menu stated that it includes cos lettuce however there was none. Taste is not there, meat and rice were horrible. My partner ordered a large burrito meal. It came with about 10chips (not large at alland burrito was 90% rice and 10% meat. We feel that is a rip off. Very disappointed. We will never return.

I mentioned to the people working that I had a 30 minute break and if it was possible to get it before the end of it. They predicted a 15 minute wait. I’m waiting for ages for the food and they continue to serve other people even though I had ordered a smaller amount before them. They we’re not understanding at all when I said that I had to return back from my break and told me that it would take another 5 minutess. So overall it took me 30 minutes to bring me a bowl of chips and 6 wings that were under cooked.

Very slow service... they over-charged me and then did not know how to refund my card and did not have enough change... it was about $16.95 or something... they gave me a pile of coins and when I counted it there was something like $15.80 and they told me that was all they had and I could have a can of drink as well... I wanted my money back... they over-charged and I did not want a drink I didnt want... I told them to give me a $20 then and I have no cash, hence paying with a card, or to refund my card... they made a big deal of it and gave me $20... the food was ok but the large server was small... I dont think we will go back here again.

If u fancy cold burgers, loaded chips. Flat ginger beer and overall the taste of cheap food for the price ur paying. Than this is the place for u! Absolutely disgusted in the food quality and rlly slow service it’s ridiculous I would rate it 0 stars but that’s not an option

If I could give 0 stars I would! My two chicken burritos arrived stone cold RAW! Not just cold, raw! How on earth can you forget to COOK the food before sending it to be eaten? Worst part is roughly 12 months ago the same thing happened but I gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and tried it again, what a mistake. People die from salmonella poisoning especially unborn babies. You need to be investigated and based on your terrible reviews you should just shut down.You should be ashamed of yourselves

Been there on so many occasions, takes 45 minutes to get any food and twice they have forgotten my meal. When I question where it is they simply say the machine is Broken and it didn’t go through to the kitchen. But odd when others at my table got their meals…

Poor customer service today at burrito Bar dfo. Im a staff member at dfo and order from them often on my lunch break but today when presenting the 25 percent off voucher I was questioned by the staff member why we dont give them an EXTRA discount on clothing, he was reluctant to put my staff discount through . Pretty poor service and hopefully they offer some proper training for short fella with the dark hair and glasses 😊

Don’t bother going here - in fact avoid it at all costs!Staff were rude, and when I only received part of my order the cashier/waitress was extremely rude.The first taco I received was stone cold and congealed, chicken was over cooked to the point you could taste it had been burnt. The other two tacos came afterwards and at least they were fresher but still pretty tasteless.Nacho fries also has the same burnt chicken and was basically flavorless.Grotty eating area inside, kinda matched the food.Overall a bad experience 👎🏼

Thoroughly enjoyed my fish burrito + chips from Burrito Bar. Initially planned to get just the burrito but due to the promotion, I decided to upgrade. Best decision — the chips were delicious!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I ordered the chicken enchiladas and there were a few pieces of chicken . No flavour AT ALL , looked really good but tasted like nothing :(- tables were disgusting and no one came to clean messy table next to us , we were there for an hour

This place is a classic case of a textbook jooging. My mate and i were thrilled to hear that this chain offers a $7 burito deal on tuesdays and wednesdays so we went on a lunch break full of optimism and excitement to enjoy this deal. We get to the register to find out that this deal only exists for small buritos. We were rocked. We were then forced to eat a large meal which costed us both $17. The food was of decent standard but the portions were laughable. I ordered a large chips and was given an XS portion. Laughable. This place is the place of the joog. Do not buy into their deals because most of the time you just get upsold to the point where you end up losing $20.Sincerely,Victim of the joog

Appreciate you requesting for further feedback on my 1 star rating, and am changing the review to 3 stars for that reason. I found your service good. Cleanliness in the outside seating area was below expectations but I believe there is little you can do about it. The primary reason for my 1 star was the quality of food. We ordered nachos and chicken wings which were both dry and displeasing. Too much sauce on the wings and they did not taste fresh.

Today I had a Vege Burrito. It was rice, with rice, and a bit more of rice. Ridiculous, will never be back there.

Pretty disappointing meal all in all. My beef burrito was mostly rice. Had to chase up the guacamole which was forgotten from our order.

I would avoid this business at all cost, firstly got charged extra for beef when nothing states that then on the receipt Ive been charged for toasting, then the burritos were the same size even though one was a large, not much flavour and all rice and the chips were very bland too.Proof of the toasting charge.Go to GYG over this

I’ve had about a dozen meals from this place over the last couple months. But today’s experience was terrible and I won’t be going back.This time I had ordered via Uber eats, the driver was friendly and on time but my deliverer meal was incorrect and missing items, the 3 items that were delivered were all stone cold and soggy. The chips were foul to try and eat so that was wasted.The very worst thing was just how small the portions were compared to being a regular customer that walks in and orders face to face.I expected much more from $30 from a lunch for one...

I was very disappointed to notice that when I received my burrito, not only was the foil ripped but the person who attempted to write my name on it teared the foil and wrote on the actual tortilla wrap with the permanent marker.This was the first time I ever ordered from here but will be going back to Guzman y Gomez Mexican who I have never had a problem with.(I didnt even want to give this a 1 star, but unfortunately had too, to post this)

In a nutshell, below average customer service and overpriced. Taste is okay but they screwed up my order and didn’t handle the complaint in professional manner, in particular that Indian lady. Even the large nachos didn’t satisfy me and I was still hungry.It’s took a long time for the food to be served too.

Don’t let the photo deceive you. This is the large size and it’s pretty much a small serving spread out to look large. There were two customers who had the same problem at the time we were here and they disputed it with the manager on duty only to be given the same thing twice. The whole experience was awful. Heavily not recommend.

Probably one of the worst places I have been to!!! Had to ring the bell to place our order, no one at front counter. Restaurant was basically empty apart from maybe 5 people. Had been waiting for over 30minutes for our food to come out, which didnt taste anything like Mexican food, blend is an understatement when describing the food,their one size serve is the size of a kids meal. They have Jenga blocks for people to pass time with while they wait, but there is left over food on the blocks.

A meal and a show. The food was exactly what we were after so can’t knock them for that, but when my partner and I had a late lunch at the Skygate Burrito Bar we couldn’t look away at the lack of customer service, experience, and sense of interest that the staff showed.When we arrived there were many vacant seats but all tables were covered in dirty dishes, glasses, and piles of leftover food. We thought it must be very busy or maybe they were just understaffed, but they just really didn’t seem to have any hustle or care at all. When I ordered some table water for the table I was give two plastic cups filled with water as there was no cold water, and was given no number. I had to go follow the the kitchen hand to get my meal. He was the only friendly member of staff we had contact with. Another customer, when asked if they need a number when they ordered, was pointed to a number on a table and told to use that one.Over the next 30 minutes we watched, wondering if the two girls behind the counter would clean any of the tables. One eventually came out, picked up two glasses and went behind the bar again and slowly cleaned them while more customers waited to order. We started laughing with the table next to us who were also finding the scene incredible. They also had to go chase their meals down. Then ten minutes later another girl came out and picked up a water jug and went back inside, with dozens of dirty plates and piles of food remaining outside. By the time we left we had seen people come in, try to find a clean table, and leave. We left laughing, unable to believe what we’d seen. About half an hour later we walked by again and saw that our dishes, and the food that surrounded us when we sat down, were still there. we would have taken more photos but wouldn’t have been able to take them without including the customers around the food.There are so many reviews for this place that say the same thing, with a company response saying that they’ll pass it on, but it doesn’t look like anything is happening to fix it.

Food is okay. We went in on Thursday for lunch. I wouldnt recommend this place. It wasnt that busy but our order still took some time. They have enough seating area to cater for both groups and small families. Air conditioning was off so we decided to sit in the open area outside.They certainly didnt have the staff to properly manage the place. It wasnt superbusy but still the leftovers were on most of the tables. It will be nice if they could improve this aspect as well.Secondly, there was no bartender, because the drinks tasted like someone just read the ingredients and mixed stuff up. In pina colada they had put sugar instead of sugar syrup as we could literally feel sugar crystals in mouth.

Tasty mexican food near Brisbane Airport. Servings are quite small however and overpriced for what they are. Staff service was quite average as well.

For the DFO, its a good place. The food is not great but at least it is less noisy than the main foodcourt. I definitely do not recommend the burger, the beef patty was not tasty.
