Burnt Pizza - Pizza restaurant in Cork, Ireland
Absolutely divine. If you like Italian then this is your place 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻
Had the best gluten free pizza ever here! So tasty and great service too
I havent had such good pizza in a while. Too tasty, friendly staff, everything perfect. I was with my wife and we were delighted
Good vegan pizza and lovely staff! I was so gutted I couldnt finish my pizza, but the waitress said they give leftovers to the homeless and that made me really happy 💚
Our 11yo ate all his Tagliatelle Bolognse but gave thumbs down on the garlic bread. My Spaghetti Carbonaro was ok but not as creamy as I expected. My wifes Calzone was cold on the inside, warm and toasty on the outside. Looking forward to trying again, next time during evening hours. Like the proprietor suggests below, we would normally comment before leaving but we were in a hurry and definitely will be back to try our luck at a later time in the day.
Staff were super friendly. More importantly, great pizza 👌
I have to say that I actually tried the best pizza in my life here. Its perfect, the dough is so soft and is just simply amazing. Its also 1st time for me leaving review for food so yes, I am so delighted we went for our lunch at this place today.
So nice to find a gluten free and vegan pizza that was super delicious. Really enjoyed.
Taste was good. OK if you dont mind soggy and rubbery dough. Im more for crispy pizza. Staff were friendly
If you want to taste the original napolitan pizza this is the best place you can choose, theres nothing else Id like to write about this delightful restaurant, just enjoy your 🍕
Came here from Manchester and was going out to a restaurant, most places stopped serving witch made us doubt we would get to a restaurant (on to the pointluckily, this place was still serving and had amazing service. Food was excellent and can be hard for me to describe food as sometimes as I am very picky ( most of my family calls me Gordon Ramsey’s daughteroverall this is defiantly 5 stars food was amazing, clean place, lovely service defiantly a solid 5. Thanks Freya O’Connor aged 10
Had the margarita pizza and Oreo cheesecake. If you’re looking for a great tasting neapolitan pizza come here! Leopard spots and all on the bottom from the high heat oven. The oreo cheesecake was the best I’ve ever had. Easily tops the cheesecake factories take on it in the US.
Very tasty food at a good price in Cork!We were 3 people and ordered 1 pizza and 1 salad, it was enough to have a good lunch ;)The staff service was nice as well, I totally recommend it!
We liked the pizza, especially the one with aubergine. We also gave the pizza chef the feedback that anchovies cannot be missing in a real Italian pizza place: pizza with anchovies is the best!hopefully next time there will be the anchovies option on the menu.
Pollo pesto pizza was very good. They offered a big jug of water on a hot day, very kind.
Nice outdoor seating with heaters, prompt service and very tasty pizza..
Really enjoyed this place nice relaxing atmosphere great food and nice friendly staff and family friendly
Probably some of the best pizza I had in a long time. With every bite, you could definitely feel the freshness of the ingredients being used. Though its pricier than typical pizzas, I thought it was well worth it.
We had a great time today at BURNT. The pizza dough was good and the inside of the calzone was well-cooked with fresh ingredients. One lad sitting to the other pizzeria next to them seemed a bit sad when they saw our ones arriving.Nice location as well. We’ll come again if we ever pass by.
Really good Neapolitan style pizza here, great spot!
Delicious pizza and lovely staff. Prices reasonable, outside covered dining great cork eaterie.
Probably one of the best pizza place at the moment in Cork. They dont have the trufflePizza anymore but offer other good choices. For the ones who like dessert they have a huge Nutella pizza with oreos. Finally they do also nice cocktails.
I had a pizza margherita. The dough is pretty good and light. Pretty authentic napolitan style. The mozzarella was nice enough. I didnt try other ingredients so I cannot tell. The service is good. Ambience a bit bland tbh.
I had doubts going here because of the food reviews but we went on an adventure anyway. We had a lovely date in the restaurant. The staff was brilliant and amazing! They took care of us. Service was top notch! The food was amazing as well. My wife told me that this is the best and creamiest pesto pasta she had in her life. Pizza was very good too! I even did takeaway and put it in the oven the next day and the food was still great! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and Im glad we went here. Give your staff a glass of peroni for me! Bravo!
Burnt has a very high standardThe staff is professional and politeIve been here many times and never disappointed meWell done fellas
Good service and lovely food. Pizza possibly one of the best Ive had. The Number 12 Pizza.
Super cute space, had out door seating with heaters which was nice on a cool evening. Wonderful pizza selection as well as fresh salads, pasta, and even dessert pizzas. Beer list was small but had no trouble finding a local brew. Crust was crispy and very flavorful (we’re from New York so we can be pizza picky…best we’ve had in Ireland). Perfect spot for a casual bite and some people watching.
This is the best Pizza in Cork / Ireland!Im Italian, ex pizza maker, Pizza lover, and I assure you that this is a very high quality pizza.I loved every bite of my pizza. I took the one with fried eggplants and vegan mozzarella as I am intolerant with lactose. The pizza dough was simply amazing, you see this by the border and the "bubbles" inside. Please be advised: This is a Napoletan style pizza, some people dont like this kind of pizza and find this very different as the ingredients are falling and is a very thin and light pizza. This is the way is supposed to be, you can eat 2 pizzas and dont feel heavy as other pizzas made with heavy ingredients. Its an easy to digest pizza.
Okay but with such a lovely oven they should have cooked the pizza better. It was pale coloured without the char you would expect from Napoli style pizza
Top place!!Best pizza in Cork
Pretty good experience overall. The pizza took a bit of time to arrive but I put that down to the fact that the restaurant was already crowded when I arrived.🥲In the meantime, I sipped one of their cocktails with a good dose of gin, which was quite nice.🍹The dough of the pizza was good, on this point it is fresh. 🔥The toppings were perhaps a little less generous than expected. 🤔On this point, opinions differ.I am of the opinion to say that the ultimate pizza does not exist or rather that there are as many good pizzas as there are pizzaiolo. They each have a vision of their best pizza. The important thing is that they are made with passion, we find bits of passion in these pizzas for sure, we feel it!Not enough for my taste. I am especially difficult to convince, no offense.Im going away for sure, but pizza is a serious matter for me 😏
When getting pizza in the store itself for sit in, the food is great. However, I just got their pizza delivered, not only did it take 30 minutes to get from the shop to my house but the pizza was squished, cold and soggy, absolute disgrace and have had to spend 40 quid for the privilege, literally have gotten better pizza from dominoes, hot and in better condition.
Fantastic experience; great pasta! Sorry I meant Burnt Dublin, they do great pasta! You should add their recipe to the menu! A sure fire winner!
Best pizza in Ireland I had in the 6 years since moving to this country
Realy enjoyed our meal, staff were excellent.
Just ordered on deliveroo and the food was hot, driver was lovely. Pizza nice, plenty of toppings etc but very hard to pick up because it was quite soggy, it was like tissue it was so thin which i love but prefer when a little crispy or when i can pick it up. think its meant to be like that for this style of pizza? I will try again defo
Absolutely beautiful pizzas and the best sweet potatoes fries Ive ever had. Delicious cocktails and very friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely be back soon
My pizza was very poor. The dough was so wet that I couldnt pick the slices up. The server tried to convince me that Neopolitan pizza was supposed to be wet all the way through when I pointed it out to her. Very disappointing. What a joke. Waste of money.
Really good Neapolitan style pizza here at a very reasonable price too. Staff are friendly and attentive. Surprisingly good chips too which is great. A few reviews unfairly commenting on the dough being soggy in the centre however that’s the style. Great spot.
Mixed feelings. I loved Burnt pizza when I had it in the restaurant, but I ordered it today with delivery and I have totally different experience. I ordered Number Twelve which I loved last time, but today pizza arrived cold, I got some regular ham on it instead of parma and White onion instead of Red. I had to heat it up in microwave and take out the ham as I’m not a fan of this type of ham... dissapointed.
Nice atmosphere and staff, pizza was very tasty but the base was too thin and couldnt support the toppings. The fact it was so tasty makes me over look this and would still go again.
Very good. Good quality pizza, quick service. Had the ‘Twelve’ pizza, which had whiskey in base, topped with honey and ham. Excellent pizza.Pizzas have more cheese than you’d normally expect but it’s good quality and it works.
Absolutely beautiful pizzas here. Real quality ingredients. Staff are professional, friendly and polite. We went during Level 3 restrictions and had to sit outside on an October night but we had a lovely evening and it didnt take from the experience at all. Huge indulgent deserts, the first desert in years which beat me and I couldnt finish. Cant wait to return again.
I decided to give this place another go after the first time and Im changing the score from 4 to 5. Great pizza, napolis style, we had the best pizza I had in Ireland and the smell was the same from the pizza placesnin Napoli.
The pizzas are unreal here. One of the tastiest pizzas I had in a long time. The staff went out of their way to make our experience be the most enjoyable ever. A great experience all around.
Amazing restaurant. The pizza is legendary, the desserts are a poem of taste and beauty. You must visit this restaurant if you are around the area 😉👍
I liked the pizza so much that a picture would not do it justice. Service was lovely, responsive and nice. Overall, a really nice pizzeria and a nice setting, plus the coffee was great.
A pizza place that wants to be much more than it is. While there are some interesting pizza options, the execution is poor. Rubber dough, and the Parmesan tastes quite young, more padano like. Limited wine menu and no Aperol. Starters are a waste of money - local cheese and garlic bread, two slices of prosciutto And Spanish salame. On the bright side, the staff was friendly and the Tiramisu was good.
Went for brunch and it was amazing. Really good service and very cool decor. Ordered the spicy el chapo and it was delicious. Menu is fantastic and pizza looks amazing, will have to come back to try it.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambience at BURNT Thanks Mikey (chefand waiting staff for the great service 💯😋
