Burnham Shores Park in Evanston

Very cute park great for kids 2-12. I love this park when I bring my nephew because both my toddlers and my nephew who is 6 have a great time. They also have bathrooms which is always a huge plus. I know they are open in the summer but not sure about fall hours

Great playground for the kids. Its in a beautiful location .

Nice shade and benches. Very cool boat to climb on! Kids from 15 months to about 5 were all having fun playing together. There are poured rubber paths to get to the structures but then lots of climbing so may not super accessible depending on disability and support needs. Wood chips under swings.

Do you want to see a hidden Jem.This place is wonderful if you just want to walk around . You will feel safe and feel like your out of town .

Very cool and family welcoming place to be.Everyone are doing there own stuff on a peaceful event,very peaceful and friendly place,I celebate my birthday there yesterday which was my day 31st of July and me and my family with some friends were there,we eat,drink have fun and play music.The kids also went to the main oark to play with other kids.Beside there is also a beach where people can also swim in.Is just a combination of park and beach.The park also have a special area that have table stand and benches that has been binded to the ground for small gathering of celebrations where you can have fun with family for celebating birthday or any occation.

Nice park with well maintained kids playground, tennis courts, boat launch, beach, shady spots to sit and more.

Northern Lights experience! This is what the aurora borealis looks like on a clear night of Chicago light pollution. It was taken with a decent cell phone camera.

Its very peaceful, tranquil & lifts my spirits when lm feeling sad and depressed.

Very beautiful scenery not to mention the location by Northwestern University and whole area itself.

Lovely place to spend an afternoon.

I really like the fact the park is right next to the lake best to come when its warmer out tho since me and my boyfriend took our kids on a much colder day and kind of regretted it lol but the park is cute with the theme of sail ships perfect for 5 yr olds to 12 year olds. Theres a lot of dogs in the area so hopefully people keep in mind to pick up after their dogs since kids run all over the park and grass areas.

I enjoyed listening to the water waves there, plus the park atmosphere was really nice. Lots of people jogging and walking with dogs.

Awesome park with Lake views and beaches

Very pleasant. But we have to pay to enter the beach nearby in summer. But, we can also come free sometime after 6 pm or 7.30 PM (depemds on the datewhen the staffs finish their shifts.

Great lakefront location for all water activities.

Its a beautiful park and a hidden gem to most. It is a great area to have a date, clear your head and relax. Watching the lake regardless what time of day is great but the plus is in moonlight.

This park had a lot of different things for the small ones to do. In a safe location and easily accessible!

Difficult to scubadive with the tide, but a great place to dive and see a shipwreck other than that.

Amazing park for walking & enjoying nature with the lake. Great for kids

Nice lakeshore park with fairly new play equipment. The pirate ship is a favorite with the kids.
