This place is so welcoming - I love that it is part of a larger collective, performance/exhibition venue. People who work here serve you with so much love. Their fries with lemon-pepper mayonnaise are a must try. They have a lot of nice vegetarian options to choose from.What’s better? They serve giraffe coffee 💚

Visited this restaurant while on lookout for vegetarian food.Had one burger and one mocktail.Burger taste was fine, quantity looked small vs the charge.I had ordered Mocktail only post seeing notice that it contains fresh pineapple juice...later learnt when drinking that they use canned juice..waste of money.To be frank, they shouldnt do wrong advertising.

Good vegetarian and vegan menu, burgers are very tasty! Serviceleaves a lot to be desired, it felt like the staff was untrained. Thats a pitty, as the food and ambience were very nice. Long waits (20+ minutes for drinks), many mistakes were made, and the toilet wasnt very clean.Drinks are fair priced, so a sloppy 4 stars.

Chilling atmosphere and decent background music. The waitress was a bit annoyed having to ask almost everyone "vegetarian or vegan?" but Ill forgive that. The fries were excellent but sometimes covered with spices a bit too much. The vegetarian Kapsalon was good, something new at least. Be aware that the accompanying red sauce could feel spicy as hell and just watch out for hidden Jalapeños in your food! 🥴

Delicious burgers and crunchy fries. There are many dietary options like burgers with meat or vegan or vegetarian. There’s also a salad option or burgers without bread.We went for lunch on a Saturday and the place had a lot of tables available.The service was good and the staff was friendly.They have some art exposition now and then if anyone interested in art. Might be worth checking it out.Cheap prices compared to other similar burger places!

Honestly, I dont remember where Ive had better burgers. The food was absolutely amazing and the cherry on top was the kindness of the staff and small touches that make the whole experience so cozy.

Best burgers in town! Just forget about walking any further. Just walk into Burgertrut and order. Also really nice Vega burgers that will put other regular burger too shame.If you lucky there might be an after-dinner show with a crazy band.

One of my favourite restaurants in Rotterdam. Close to Rotterdam Central Station. Amazing food and lovely home made drinks. I had the Big In Japan burger (seaweed, wasabi, pickled cucumber, lettuce, bean sprouts & soy burgerand the home made peach ice tea. For dessert I shared one vegan Oreo milkshake with my friend because its very filling, but very delicious as well! Nice staff, fairly priced food. Love it here.

Have been twice and both times had a burger to eat. Both times very tasty and the place has a great atmosphere too. Recommend also fries with vegan mayo; so good!

This is a place to go in Rotterdam. Might be busy but for sure it is worth to eat there. Vegan burgera and organic beef burger. We had a wonderful time there. Take some fries also, you cant get these anywhere else

The vegan kapsalon in this joint is the best kapsalon I have ever had. The fries are crunchy yet soft in the middle, the sauce is light and tasty. The only downside is the aluminum tin, if they had served it in a plate it would have been A++

Very satisfactory visit... really interesting options for variety of burgers. Unfortunately did not have space to try desserts although they looked delicious.

It’s not the best burger place but performance/price is quite good. The restaurant is vegan friendly, that’s why even beef burgers are highly saladful. However cucumber in a burger does not feel good. If you are going to this place, don’t forget to tell about cucumber.I tried salty caramel cheesecake as a desert and I liked it. This is the reason I gave 4stars.Burger is juicy, I give that!

The hamburgers meat or vegan are just high quality and delicious. The cakes even vegan, gluten free and sugar free choices are amazingly good. Stuff are nice but take into account that sometimes are really busy and you might be waiting a little even when you want to pay. Worth every penny

Amazing vegan falafel-esque burger and the best fries Ive ever had. The service, although friendly, pays very little attention to the tables, if you want something go ask for it yourself. Do try the sugar free pies and sweets, they are fantastic.

The burger was good, but nothing special.Texan Cheese Massacre had a good bun, blunt sauce, and ghost of lettuce. Good meat, but not much beyond medium.Extra plus for great service, good fries, nice interiors.

Im glad we stopped by for burgers! They were absolutely delicious.On a weekday night, it wasnt very busy. We were able to get seats although it was the last free table in the house.The staff is pretty chill and friendly too.They also have pretty good beer selection and the place attracts quite a good crowd.

A very artsy place with lots of artsy people. Burgers tasted very fresh and were delicious! Had the fries as well which were nicely seasoned and had a tasty mayonaise served with it. All in all a very nice place to visit where you can get a full meal for relatively cheap.

What the burgers lack in width they make up for in hight! Great vegan options, from the burgers to the sides, even when it comes to sauces. Im not vegetarian or vegan but I find their menu really tasty whatever the choice is. The atmosphere inside is also very relaxed with mismatching furniture and grandma style lamps on the ceiling.

A great place to grab a delicious hamburger. With plenty of vegan/vegetarians friendly options too. Good coffee and possibly the best chocolate cake in the world but certainly of Rotterdam.Friendly service and located just a few minutes walking distance from Rotterdam Central Station.

Cosy and alternative place in which we can enjoy a large variety of veggie/vegan burger (not all of them are but definitively more than half). Pictograms allow us to see easily to which diet the dish fit with :). Burgers are really filling even though the fries are not included.As well as nice and original sides. Also a large range of homemade sweets and treats (didnt have the opportunity to try them though).The atmosphere is really nice and the service perfect.

I came all the way from Utrecht to eat what in my opinion is the best vegetarian kapsalon in The Netherlands (they also have a vegan version).For those not familiar with the kapsalon,it is a meat based dish with French fries, kebab, melted cheese, vegetables and sauces.At Burgertrut they have their own version which is made with seitan instead of meat and with a huge quantity of fresh vegetables on top, which makes it incredibly good.They also have several homemade cheesecakes which are also very lekker.Of course, they also have dishes with meat (burgersto make everybody happy.I highly recommend it.

Great burgers (including and mostly the vegetarian onesand rich cakes. Burgertrut is always the right place where to go for an easy night out if you dont mind the strong smell of fries and grill. The atmosphere is very hip and informal but still with a very efficient service.

Tasty food on a good price. Decor more on the rustic side. Be aware that they dont serve tap water, so you will be charged for the water. Also, credit cards are not accepted

Good burgers, lots of vegetarian and vegan options and organic ingredients. Next to the menu, a bunch of specials, tasty desserts and seasonal beers. Service was attentive and well paced. Enjoyed the burger, but not blown away, disliked the bread, too solid, lost the texture of the burger and too much chewing. Other ingredients were good, the jalapeno burger had a lot of jalapenos! Cheesecake was tasty and the vegan chocolate cake was very good.Nice ambiance, cozy interior.

Fantastically varied food, and all organic and stuff even the meat burgers! I love the ambiance. It really has an artsy no nonsense with a lot of nonsense feeling. It is not expensive yet you still get great quality. And every once in a while there are some interesting performances going on there. And obviously you have got to try "the best chocolate cake in the world".

Very tasty burgers and potatoes, the staff is nice and the restaurant is cosy and lovely. A very good adress in Rotterdam!! Moreover it is not expensive for the Netherlands
