Burgerman - Hamburger restaurant in Hong Kong, Hong Kong
Hole in the wall operation with questionable taste in decoration. But these burgers are good. Probably the best in the area. Perfect for a singleton. Not ideal for company.
Apart from super juicy burger, I was very impressed with the burger sauce which was very flavourful. Satisfying portion. Recommended.
Simply the best burger in town
Overrated and overpriced. Amazed at all the high reviews..Out of all the burger restaurants in HK, in my opinion this one is mediocre at best.
Burger is a bit under-seasoned, despite of good meet quality.
Theyre serving really nice burger, fresh and delicious
I hv left my comment in Openrice, the post is not allowed to be published! Is it because my comment is not positive?I hv ordered cheese burger, and I found there is no sauce in it! Not even ketchup! The fries are cold & soft, their colour is still white, didn’t fry for enough time!I didn’t finish all the meal as it is very disappointing! To be honest, McDonald’s is even better!
Had a terrible experience. Staff simply didn’t care, music was super loud I had to keep repeating my orders to which they gave me looks of disgust even though we were the only ones there. Food was fair, it wasn’t bad but it’s simply not worth the price. Chips were really dry though. Will try other options next time.
Best burger in hk
Quick service. Nice burgers with details. Chips are excellent.
The burgers are very tasty and there are some interesting creations if you want to try out something new.The burgers are served with salad or French Fries - the French Fries are surprisingly good, most probably home made. When delivered, burgers come in a appropriate box. The salad is served with a sweet dressing, I wouldn’t recommend that. Most burgers include blue cheese, which has kinda special taste. Who doesn’t like that will probably hate it.Reasonable prices for what you get.
Absolutely horrible. twice now Ive been rejected service. they are apparently too busy to serve me. I do not recommend coming to this place. staff is rude and horrible. looking at the price its extortionate. First time being turned away I assumed it was true but for a 2nd time when there is clearly no customers is truly a lie.
Delicious juicy burgers,not too expensive
Tried the lunch set consisting of cheese burger fries and drink, i think its a good value. Really like the toasted sesame bun the crunchy seeds really add to the texture. The patty is a little bit dry for me, and I think a little extra sauce wont hurt. The fries is good, crispy exterior and soft inside.Waiting time is a little bit long, considering its quiet when i get there. The service is nice though, very kind and attentive👍
“Any way you want it baby, I am your burger man!” I always recall this lyrics when i visit Burgerman 🎶.We ordered two combos: danish blue cheese burger with salad and fisherman burger with fries 🍔.I like the melted danish blue cheese. It was flavorful with bacon and red onions. The fried fish fillet with cheddar cheese and tartar sauce tasted great. Both of the burgers were delicious. The danish one is $68 and the fisherman is $63. Combo is extra $20 for a salad/fries/waffle and a soft drink. This was my third time to visit burgerman. I wanna eat waygu burger but unluckily it was sold out this time. The location is not so convenient since we gotta walk around 10 minutes from Olympic station or mong kok station. Anyways it’s worth a try 😁.
Tried the Black Truffle Wagyu burger with salad and coconut water (HKD 103 or $13.13, 4.5*).
Lunch set is very well priced and worth it. I got the trucker burger for $88 which included a drink and either fries or a salad. 2 patties, bacon, cheese and an egg is definitely worth the price. I was extremely full after the meal and will definitely come back
Affordable price for a delicate burger. The beef is tender, the bun is soft and toasted.
<Buffalo Chicken Burger>Visited Burgerman for the first time some time ago, but it wasn’t open even it’s their opening hour. Second time luck for me and I got to try it out this time.I was lucky to get the lunch set at 17:00. It’s HKD$58 with this Buffalo Chicken Burger, fries (or saladand a canned drink. The Buffalo Chicken Burger was absolutely fantastic! Fluffy bun with crispy toasted top, wrapping juicy chicken fillet, and best, blue cheese! It’s a bit spicy with the hot sauce. Definitely legit buffalo chicken!Fries were great too! Thick, freshly fried, crispy. Nom Nom!I would love to visit again to try out the signature and famous beef burger!
Great burger and fries. Comes with gloves cause its messy devouring this juicy burger. Ordered the first choice, forgot what it called, it comes with 2 paddies plus an fired egg. Very tasty!!!
Well I had a good expectations, unfortunately it was just ordinary burger without any sauce, spicy or other idea. Bacon inside was cold and vegetable without taste. Nothing extra. not best in town. Just ordinary fast-food.
Nice fresh burgers. Awesome portions. Signature trucker burger a little less flavorful than expected. So many more burgers to try though.
Burger is inexpensive and delicious. The breef tastes really good.
High expectations on Burgerman, as I visited their Sham Shui Po shop, but this visit is really disappointed. They are still using non reusable tableware, so you will need to throw away everything after finished for every customers. And as this shop is close to a busy street, you can actually feel the heat and exhaust gas from vehicles. But the main point is their meat feel tasteless for Trucker Burger, which completely unlike the the Wagyu I tried before, but the chips still recommended. And they accept cash only
I ordered blue cheese burger and fries. They were tasty and the fries were very crispy.
Luxury Burger, a little pricy but sometimes have really good deals. Ive got a Wagyu Burger deal for $68 HKD today and it took me to heaven.
Decent burger but compared to other burgers weve had, nothing special. For the price, I wouldnt say its worth it. The patty was small compared to the bun, and the flavor of the meat patty was a bit bland. The waffle fries were too crispy for our tastes and hard on the throat. A nice feature though, they have gloves for you to use to eat the burger without getting your hands dirty! Overall, satisfactory burger, probably wont be back but no regrets trying it.
Very good food, new burger flavours every so often, environmentally friendly dishes (however there is still plastic forks and gloves), recycles cans
it a small restaurant with very nice burger made of different kind of meats and at reasonable lunchset price
One of the best burgers in Hong Kong. Theyve got a great lunch set: cheeseburger (beef, chicken, fish or veggie), fries or salad (ha! yeah rightand a drink for 58.The only downside is that its a tiny little shop. Oh, and that they dont have a location on Hong Kong Island.
I had high hopes for this place. Unfortunately I wasnt impressed.Firstly, it was stifling hot inside. No A/C or fan. Which was uncomfortable in itself. The table setups were too small. They dont accept card payments which is frustrating...I ordered waffle fries with my combo and it would have been nice to try them! However they never arrived 😑 The blue cheese on the burgers was way too strong. It just ruined the whole burger and made it bitter. French fries were crispy, yet flavour less. Tables werent clean either. The bread is classic HK bread. Plastic tasting and definitely not fresh. Plus the portion sizes were too small for a main meal. Felt more like an entree.Definitely not American style burgers at all. In fact, I dont think the owners have ever tried an American style burger. Which also leads me to believe that this place has only been rated and tried by locals who have never had a real burger...Would rather go to McDonalds to get a decent burger.Disappointed 👎🏼
Had a nice burger black truffle wagyu style with crispy fries. The meat was juicy. Overall a good choice...
I used to go to the branch in shum shui po. This time, i came before 6pm on sunday. Ordered wagyu and hida wagyu burger, one of them was with set, which including deepfried fries or grid and soft drinks. Both of the burgers were juicy and with well-balanced flavor. Drinks was cold enough. Everything seemed to be fine. However we found the potato grid was not as expected. There were so so many black flakes or dot covered all around. When we ask about that, the cashier replied just she didnt know and didnt even want to come closer to look at those grid. Then we request to change to change to fries. She didnt response but then took the paper plate (i got some leftover thereback to the kitchen. After awhile, she passed me back the same plate but with some newly fried grid (i think). What a nice experience?!
Straight up great value: tasty, cheap and efficient. Wide variety which made it difficult to decide. Had the wagyu burger. I prefer mine slightly less cooked but it was delicious nevertheless. Simple fuss free bun, does the job. Loved the piping hot and crispy waffle fries.
Good price for the quality, I recommend the "trucker" which is: double patty, cheese, bacon and egg all for 80 HKD
Pretty good food, the toasted bun was a bit much but overall good!
A good place for burgers
Order the Hida Beef burger amongs all those choices! The beef would be much more juicy than the ordinary one. Had also tried their signature foie gras burger, not as good as the other reviewed, a little bit disappointed, the shop is very small offer a few high tables, many customers ordered take away. Fries are not as good as the potato grid:friendly and helpful staffs. Abit overated, still would come again to try something else on menu!
Not as good as the reviews had us believe. Quite a walk to get to for a run down place that doesnt accept card and sub-par burgers. Would not recommend.
The burgers were good and there were good selections. But the seatings were quite limited
The patty was so juicy n good quality and the price is acceptable. The fries is so crispy. Yummy
Burger with excellent taste, affordable prices and nice place to remember western original burgers! Client service is good all employees speak English and are very polite. If you are in Mong Kok you should visit here is near Dorsett Hotel in 97, Ivy Street. This place do not win the award for best Western Food by chance
Wow, I just had the best chicken pineapple burger I ever had. Loved it, definitely worth a try if you are in the area!
Great burgers! Walked into this burger joint by accident and was pleasantly surprised with how good the quality was. Did not expect to find such good burgers in Hong Kong.
Very Good burgers. Price is very nice. The onion rings are great true onion rings
Nice burger, crispy bun with nice fat fries. Beef patty can be better, maybe its lunch time. Value for money.
Burger was juicy. Waffle fries were a bit dry though. Not that cheap considering the location.
Strongly recommend for burger lovers, it wont disappoint u! The store is small, make sure u can arrive earlier since u cannot make reservation
Waiting time was rather long (around 15minutes, at 6pm), but well worth it. One of the best burgers Ive had in HK so far, and Ive tried a lot.I had the Wagyu burger, which is as delicious as the title suggests. The fries were not as memorable, but they were good and not greasy at all.Ill be back !
2015: Get the Trucker burger $72~+$18 a combo includes fries or salad and a soft drink of your choicePlaces with plentiful food portions at reasonable prices are hard to come-by in Hong Kong. Especially if you come from USA/UK/AU.This, in Hong Kong, is one of the few burger places where you get exactly what you pay for...i.e large portions at a fair price.
