Burgerlab in Cheltenham

Quiet when we visited mid afternoon so service was quick very nice burgers had the chicken burger and lamb burger decent size definitely visit again

What a disappointing experience. Burgers were quite ordinary but the icing on the cake was the total rudeness of the main cook. He was not willing to even discuss dietary requirements for a child. When I tried to ask him a question he glanced at me from the corner of his eye and made it obvious he was turning his back on me and was not open for any discussion. Cant say I have ever had such a rude customer experience. All the other staff were so friendly and helpful and so very embarrassed. No wonder the place was empty. Wont be giving them any further business.

It was a grey night, rain lashed the window panes and the opportunity to cook dinner had passed me by.Enter burgerlab. The rain subsided as I entered, clouds parted and a serene sunset lit up parkdale as burgerlab, like Mecca, became the beacon of hope for a night of poor time management.Delicious, friendly and a fun way to spend a Monday. Good food and even better staff all very friendly

We came here for an impromptu dinner with our dog and sat outside on a quite weekday. The staff were lovely and super friendly. We got two GF burgers, chips, drinks and even got a beef patty for our dog as there are no onions. GF bun was soft and the ingredients were fresh. One of my top burger places.

Went as my friend has been here a few times and recommended it. The chicken burger was average in flavour but I would still like to try another burger on the menu as the area was pleasant to sit out and chat in.

Not as good as we were expecting. Staff are pretty rude. Not really wanting to be there clearly!. Good music though.😁

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming . Nice collection of beer , wines and spirits (must try the local beerand best burger in town.

Bacon burger is delicious but the big win is the onion rings with BBQ sauce 👌🏻 was pleasantly surprised to drink a nicely hopped pale ale on tap from Cavalier Brewing

The best place to have lunch . Burger was amazing ,tender and juicy. Buffalo wings added the flavour with nice green salad. Staff is very professional and best service. Must go place with family,mates and peers. Well done Burger lab . Thankyou for the nice hot lunch.

The burger 🍔 I had was ok, it tasted all good, a bit bland and it didn’t wow me in any way + the chips were a bit soggy, I really prefer the chips crispy.

Love the relaxed vibe, friendly staff, and fast service here. Sitting outdoors is our fave. The food is always great quality, and the weeknight deals (hello $2 fries!make this our go-to local for easy, delicious and kid friendly burgers!

Best burgers in the area, great for eat in or takeaway and always consistent quality food. The concept is great and like that they support local farms.

Dropped in last night with my wife and we both loved our meals and the staff were friendly. She had the salmon which was cooked exactly to her liking and I got the lamb burger - let me tell you there was nothing missing from this burger. All the flavours worked so well together. Perfection 👌 (oh yeah, the onion rings were mega!!We will come back again for sure!

Stay away from the crab burger, never seen anything as oily in my life. If you hold it up it actually drips oil and its tasteless. We went today and got two and actually felt Ill when we got home. For the price, really not worth it. My son got the salt and pepper calamari and that was lovely and the lady that served us was nice, but thats the only saving grace.

After first having takeaway before and loved it, we had high expectations alas I was disappointed that there was no standard beetroot in the burgers and wasnt prepared pay an extra $3 for the privilege!Also they better stick to burgers only as my partners spare ribs werent slow cooked and this chewy, the same for side of wings which were plastic tasting...I did enjoy the Big Daddy and the beers but overall I was tad disappointed.

Wanted to support a local place so decided to try out Burgerlab. Lovely food and service (lady who served us had red hair, didnt catch her name but she was super lovely!). Had the Atomic Rooster and it was delicious. Chips were fresh, seasoned well and yummy. Looking forward to coming back!

Burgerlab is an amazing place, I highly recommend going here. I would love it if there was an option to build your own burger, if that was a thing I would 100% give Burgerlab 5 stars.Very friendly staff and the owner is just great.

We love Burgerlab burgers, we’ve tried a few different ones (chicken and beefand they’re all delicious. The chips are really good too. Prices aren’t cheap but I do think the flavour and quality justifies it.

A firm local and family favourite. Fantastic burgers, a great selection of beers and the sweet potato fries are incredible. Guaranteed to make a mess when eating these. The venue has both indoor and outdoor seating and is amazing in the summer. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Parkdale and the burgers are superb!

Super high quality beef, a perfect bun... Does not matter if is for take away or dining in is worthy the travel (is you live far away), you can take away and have the burger on the beach, or dinne in and enjoy with a great beer on the tap and an excellent customer service.

Feeling dejected after not finding something to eat along the main street I pulled over to the nearest car park once I saw the Burgerlab courtyard.The place looked great. I was greeted warmly and had the special in front of me within a short amount of t time. The soft shell crab was awesome. Fresh and bright. Not greasy like you find at other places.Ill definitely drop through again

We walked the kids down this evening. Sat outside with our dog at our feet and the kids happily playing. Nice way to have dinner with some great burgers and a few drinks. The staff are always lovely. Meals arrived quickly.

Best burger weve had in a while. Awesome taste and generous size once you load youre extras.The only criticism, the large chips serving should be bigger ! I had to look back at my order to make sure i ordered large..

This is such a an icon of the neighbourhood!! Get down there at night and enjoy the heat of the outside heaters.The burgers are amazing. Not overcooked either so a tiny bit pink just the way its meant to be. The chips are always crispy and taste great. Even after a 10 min ride home they still taste great and crunchy.

Well worth a try: tasty burgers cooked to your liking, nice sides and drinks, good prices and no absurd serving sizes that make you sick.

Some guy who really likes burgers knows what hes talking about. We went for weekday lunch so the place was empty. The staff were lovely and the burgers were amazing

Great place to sit out side during the warmer weather to enjoy a local beer and burger with Australian sourced ingredients cant ask for more then that. Dogs are also welcome ourside so great place to stop after a walk on the beach.

Look at this picture. That towering bun right there? 3x160g patty, 2xcheese, 2xbacon - and you can still taste each of the other individual ingredients. Thats how you know a place is top-notch, when something like this gets ordered and its still an incredible experience.Not for the faint of heart. Their normal burger menu are a good starting point to fall in love with - a neat and tidy burger with good proportions and salad that doesnt taste of sadness. Try the milkshakes too - banana was a winner.

Nice spot. We ordered the veggie burger and a lamb burger. Honestly I have had better burgers but then again I enjoyed the overall ambience. We sat outside with our dog, and the staff were very friendly! They brought her a bowl of water which was sweet The sides we ordered were actually pretty good. We thoroughly enjoyed the cob fathers. Overall not the best burgers in town, but overall serves good quality food at a reasonable price. Lots of cocktail choices!

Food came at rocket speed, absolutely delicious! Service was great. Onion rings were the best I have had and I have a lot. nice comfortable environment with an outside sitting area too. Meat comes med rare when we asked for med well done it was cooked perfectly. Price is quite reasonable. Will highly recommend and will go back for sure!! Great work

Fantastic service, the lamb burger is spot on and the sweet potato chips is the perfect side to go with it. I went all out today and even spoiled myself with the creamy soda spider which was a blast from the past! Thank you so much, a great place to be. Awesome vibe too, nicely done.

Nice, friendly place. Very easy to get to add it is right next to Parkdale train station. Pricing on the food is reasonable and the service is pretty good.
