Burger Urge (South Bank) in Brisbane

Bit meh. Like waiting 20 minutes just to be served, watching parents order 10 meals, whilst the poor service lady kept crashing into the huge concrete service bench. Like, she had to wait to get through to serve other people, I got anxiety just watching. No wonder service was slow. Which kinda made my burger cold while it sat on the bench for several minutes before the other service kid realised it was there.I guess dont go there when its busy, or they could open up the doors so the waiters can get through without any safety issues.

This place used to be good. My last visit I was surprised to see that there was 2 unprofessional kids running the place! and the food was less than medication

Not the greatest experience Chips were dry and not tasty at all server and order kid was not friendly and was a bit unprofessional not someone you should have to welcome your customer

Quite disappointed as the southern fried chicken burger was so dry…Maybe beef burger would be better? But not sure if we could want to go back again.At least the wait time 10-15 mins was pretty good, not like the Nandos next door- 45 mins

Nice quick food. But the place is messy. Tables are unstable. Staff are too busy chatting with eachother to serve in a timely manner.

1 star because the Pattie was good. 1 star because the young server was trying really hard and cared about their job. Other than that, just a complete lack of care. Is a review to vent or let the business know that on Tuesday 7 December the food was terrible who knows? And is this review going to do anything? Who knows? All I know is that with so many burger joints I wont be going back to this one.

The burgers were very tasty. The meals came quickly. Our meal included snack burgers which were a great size for small eaters. I would recommend the special sauce it was delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. Only downside was the fact that it looked like it needed a clean up, or I would have given it 5 stars.

Awesome burgers!They have a great lunch deal on currently with various burger styles available. And have great service as well. Would reccomend!

South bank has so many great places to eat but if you want a great burger than you have to give Buger Urge a go. Great quality, excellent range and tasty! The chips are good but not amazing, but the burgers make up for it. The location is also fantastic at South Bank! Dine in or take away and sit on the many great grassy areas nearby.

Really enjoyed their food and the service was relatively fast. Only downside is that the chips they gave us were really short to the point where it was impossible to dip them in sauce without getting it all over ya hands.

Talked into going here whilst in Southbank as I love burgers - and this restaurant did not disappointThey use proper mince instead of cheap fast-food patties, everything was just bursting with flavorWould recommend

Just well made, juicy tasty burgers

Been here twice now and the food has been great. Burgers not overly filled with grease & taste delicious with every burger ( that Ive currently triedpacked with numerous different flavours depending on what you are feeling. Would recommend for a burger joint its yum !

This place always leaves me with a smile on my face. The burgers are beautiful, and they offer vegetarian and GF options.I rate the El Diablo 🌶 (picturedwith bacon, jalapeños and onion rings. The Boston cheese is also great.👶🏼 high chairs are available and there’s a kids menu. My toddler is always happy to come here after a swim

2 stars for the chips and onion rings. If I could give zero stars for the burger that contained off lettuce I would. Not only that the chicken tasted off as well.Fantastic service from the friendly star but absolutely rubbish burgers.

Food was pretty good, cant complain. A bit of lack of customer service but. No napkins or serviettes, food is pretty oily. And its awkward not being able to clean up afterwards. Also our table along with other tables werent clean. Considering it was not busy.

The only bad thing I can say is that the chips are so good if you start eating them before your burger you wont stop. Beautiful chips and even better burgers, only bestest by the service which is always exceptional, especially Nick who went above and beyond.

Excellent onion rings, and not to bad of a burger (could have been better for the price). The wait time wasn’t to bad considering it was lunch rush. Overall pretty good.

After the chef forgetting to add my bacon and pineapple to my Waikeke burger. I sent it back. This is how it was represented to me. Bear in mind also no cutlery is available.

The tables are sticky, as well as the floor. Standard Burguer Urge food, fast service. Walls also need cleaning, as they have lots of little decorations that can easily attract dust and grease. I would not recommend if youre looking for a unique experience. This is more of a cheap fast-food chain than a unique burguer place.

I wanted to go 5 stars I really did. And if the option for 4 1/2 was here I would. However I ordered aioli dipping sauce for my onion rings and didn’t get it. And that was the largest serving for the onion rings that were available.And for around the $22 price mark for that and a water I feel as though there should have been moreBut in saying that. There was nothing else to fault, the burger itself absolutely amazing!! The onion rings cooked to perfection. The service wonderful, and the view while eating lunch splendid.

Maybe we went here on a bad day as There seems to be alot of good reviews, alas our experience was not great. I had a few bites of my burger. Somehow it was dry even tho it had an insane amount of flavourless sauce on it. My partner ate the salad off her burger and left the rest. They were also cold and ready within 5 minutes, the beef pattie was about 2 inches thick so Id assume it was simply microwaved or reheated, not cooked to order.. The meal included around 10 chips and a cider all for the low price of 15 dollars extra. So for around 28 dollars each we drank our ciders and walked away, barley touching the food. The only reason they are getting more than 1 star is because the staff were friendly and provided good customer service.

Yummy food and good atmosphere. The host was friendly from the word go. He made sure our meal was good, which it was.

Popped in Tuesday avo for a quick lunch. The waitress was lovely. She was polite when she served me, she came and checked if everything was okay while we were eating and she promptly took our plates once we finished.The burgers were really lovely as were the fries. It was reasonably priced and we left feeling full and happy. Would 100% go back.

Nice burger, good value for money!

The food was pretty damn good. I was afraid it would taste like a normal burger from a restaurant and I would have preferred I had fast food but it won out. The burger, onion rings and fries were good.

Cosy settings and lovely ambience to have a quick meal with family. The burgers were delicious. Service was friendly and approachable. Delivery of orders were reasonably quick as well. Overall a great night out for the family.

Friendly staff, good service, good price. They have two vegan burgers! The vegan cheese used in the vegan cheese Burger is not the best ever but the Burger itself was quite good, and I am not a burger person. We can eat inside and outside with the bonus of a nice view, near the streets Beach.

Hmm the waiting time was a little bit longer but we werent in a rush anyways! Their sweet potato fries were super great, my moms absolute favourite ☺️ I love the whole environment and atmosphere over there too, I wouldnt mind spending some time chilling at their outdoor seating!

Its position right on laneway of The Collective weekend markets is prime. Burgers with tantalizing ingredients and fun names. Good prices too.

I went there with my sisters and we had one of the best moments of our trip to Australia. The burger maybe was the best burger of my life (I am over 30 and I like to eat burger every week). The service was unbelievable friendly and the prices are totally good. People, if you are lucky enough to visit Brisbane: Have a delicious burger at Burger Urge! Delicious!

Im from outta City, third time around here, had the today New Yorker, pretty tasty, nice view, no problems.

Burgers were pretty awesome, chips not so great.Had the El Diablo with extra hot for an extra $1 which in size and taste was great but wasnt quite as hot as Id hoped.First side of chips were obviously not fresh, the dirty fries were much fresher and pretty good in taste.Kids meals reasonably priced but smaller burgers for the kids than you would get at other burger places.Probably reasonable for kids under 7

Good food and right in the heart of Southbank in parklands. They have seating inside and out and aircon inside because its a hot day on this Australia day.Specially made burger today and lovely service. Cool wooden tables and chair with a funky atmosphere. Mid range for pricing on meals. The urgrfs and chips etc. Sold separately

Definitely the best burger place hands down. The service was great. Staff was extremely nice and provided us with what we needed. This place is fairly popular as it was quite crowded but it was okay with me, felt like a friendlier environment. The pricing was reasonable. I got the Fat Elvis. Could definitely come back here.

I went in and ordered a cali chicken burger sandwich, fries and a milkshake. The bacon was spot on yet the chicken was overdone, the fries were undercooked, i had to ask for ketchup and wait for my food to get cold before getting it. Then i never got my milkshake until i finished my food and asked two staff members.Honestly i feel like i wasted my time and money especially since there were only a few customers in the store

Friendly staff, very clean and inviting. The best onion rings I have ever hard. I had the Elvis Burger. The buns were nice and soft. The fresh meat pattie was juicy. The bacon had a maple taste and you know who that makes everything better. Just the right size for lunch. Value for money.

Decent burgers, bit sloppy for my liking but the taste is good for an American style burger. Five stars for their fries though! Real potatoes home cut style cooked to golden perfection. Location is great, with good views and lots of local attractions.

Burgers were beyond amazing 👌🏽👌🏽 I got the dirty fries to share and that was pretty good too.My friend got the Mac and Cheese balls and we were honestly so disappointed. For me it tasted bland. Im fat and eat a lot of burgers. This creation may ensure I stay that way. Quick service, excellent concept, great combination of ingredients. Sweet waffle bun unexpected and delicious.

Simple Karate Lamb burger. Saucy and sweet bun. Nothing special but ok for a Burger joint. Its an option besides Grilld. Their knives are behind the counter, not at the table like at other places. Came back. Tried a different burger. Very big...something with Beef, Cheese, Egg and Pineapple. Also saucy and sweet bun.

Great range of burgers for the person who doesnt want an expensive heavy meal. Great flavours, fresh ingredients, gluten free options and they are happy to modify the burger to suit YOUR taste. Great soft drink & apple cider options available too. Not-so-comfortable chairs and sticky but clean tables and excellent friendly fast service. Reminds me so much of another similar grilled burger store...
