Afordable place to have a quick lunch

Food quality not satisfying. Service was fine. But place almost empty at Friday eve, I guess is says all!

The first and the last meal from this place. Raw, uncooked chicken breast on rice. I thought these things are in the past, as it is a must to check if the meat is cooked before it is served.But hey, some places are still stuck in the past.

The perfect place for burgers and any other meal. We were there a big group of people and all of us were happy with the quality of the food. Portions very big. You can find vegan options too. Waitresses super kind people. Very decent prices. Must go place in Riga!

This is a great place to sit and have a drink or grab a bite, located in the quiet center of Riga. The prices were surprisingly pleasant and the variety of beers and food was also nice. If you are in the area and hungry or thirsty, I recommend it.

Best but not good food

Can go there for acceptable lunch offer. Most of food is pretty basic in taste.When calling and trying to make a reservation felt like it was a burden. Used to be a regular there, but the staff often gets their bad days out on customers.

Service was fast, professional and very friendly. The food came out hot, and it was delicious. Went in 4 people and less than an hour to eat, we were able to eat and pay with no rush at all. Fantastic spot to eat.

We went there late on a Saturday only to have dessert and a beer. The place was full, but not stuffed, the service was friendly and very quick, the desert was fine and the price fair. This is nothing high class, but good middle class with excellent service and a easy going atmosphere.

Dishes would do well with a little decoration to appeal to the eyes, but in terms of taste we found our burgers and side-dishes on par with some of the more expensive joints in the city. This place is just a little less touristy, a lot locals seem to frequent it as well. Drinks are reasonably priced. We found a friendly, relaxed vibe and stayed longer than planned.

Generally all was ok, but after my question about daily offer, staff just pointed to menu on board. Not so kind.

Good food with nice service. The chicken pasta is quite tasty. The price is decent as well.

I ordered juicy burger (looked the most classicand it was the worst burger of my life. Meat with strange aftertaste, bun falls apart after 2 bites and that awful salad leaf inside. Really you need to change something...

Grabbed a burger from this place during lockdown as I could go out to eat and it was superb, probably the best burger I’ve had so far in this city.

One of the best restaurant. I’ve been there so much.Custumers are mainly locals. A large choice of food, really cheap.

Amazing restaurant and bar, kids and Animal friendly, tasty food affordable price. I had grilled chicken with veggies. Check this out and try.You can seat outside also, inside is cozy..! Great service by two service provider. 😘😉 rag me for more amazing places.

Its a very good choice for business lunch if you work in the centre of Riga.Its stylish, sort of hipsterish, yet serves simple, tasty foods and has hearty portions.Just how I like it.

Good food but nothing special

Staff is really nice, service is good but the food is not tasty. Had the mushroom cream soup - it that was kinda tasteless and watery. The salmon, that was freshly cooked, good quality, but again the taste was not there. Other then that - it was allright.

Though the ambience is good the staff is very grumpy and make you feel as though they are doing you a favour while serving you. Look out for the portions on food, they are really big.

Nice meals for a reasonable prices. I like that this place is not overcharging for non-existing fanciness. The service was fast and unpretentious. The atmosphere nice and relaxed, just right for a late and rainy Saturday afternoon. Recommend the place!

Reasonable prices, not big but proper variety selection in menu. And very tasty food. We were group of 4 - everyone enjoyed what they got. Burgers were excellent.

U have to try the most delicious chicken wings in Riga.

On my way to airport decided to meet up with my friends at Burga. Have been there before and previous experience didnt let me down. However this time was different. Waitress was grumpy with no smile on her face with big attitude towards us. Seemed as she hates her job and doesnt want to be there. She took our order and left. When we got our food, nobody have come to check on our meals. My husbands chicken was raw in the middle, so he didnt eat it all. When she came to clear our plates, I told her that chicken was raw. There was no reply on that and no apology. Poor customer service. And when I told her that I would like to have something done about it, she was turning her back away.I think that is not acceptable,as she does work in customer service industry and customer is always right. And smiling is always a key to a good tip too. I hope that Burga management will consider this as a good advice and train their staff to a friendly approach towards their customers.

Everything was tasty, but youd probably be better off ordering burgers or as the waiter whats going to be readdy quick enough (I presumed we just were unlucky to order something that were not expected to be ordered at all, so the waiting time was a bit much).

We came in to watch a football match. Good location and interior. But the service was not as good. It seemed like it was a self-service place, because no one even came to us. The waiter quietly brought food and bill. Burger and beer was tasty, but tea was from a simple tea bag and noodles were just plain and tasteless and the ingredients were not mentioned in the menu. Also one waiter was eating at the bar, from the customers side. It might have been her lunch break, but it seemed very inappropriate.

Extremely rude and even racist personnel, while the food at its best is only ok, this place will leave a bad taste in your mouth! To them customer service and even basic manners are alien concepts!Dont support establishments like that with your money - stay away!

Tasty food, reasonable prices and good atmosphere. This place is good for breakfast, lunch and casual dinner. Sometimes gets crowded. Has great bussiness lunch offer which changes daily. Suppose that after writing such a feedback the restsurant will be more crowded :)

Its a nice atmosphere here - the burgers are always really reliable, with tasty chips and sauces, and the Caesar salad is one of the best in Riga. It can be a pain to get a table though, especially if you come in a big group. Its always busy, which I guess is a good sign and is great for the restaurant, but theres been at least a couple of times where we have to change plans and find somewhere else to eat. Definitely on my go to list when people are visiting from other countries and asking where is good to try.

Prices arent cheap, but bearable. Food was good, but not great. Service was pleasant. The food took too long, considering that we were the only customers.

One of my favourite places in quite center. Always busy, great food and reasonable prices. Can suggest also as lunch option dhring the busy working hours.

I have a problem with this place - its not inherently bad, but I cant figure out which niche its trying to fit into.If youre just looking for a place to wolf down some carbs, this is probably not your best option, as Burga is a bit too pricey for that. This might be explained in part by being this close to Rigas Embassy Row, but other restaurants nearby would typically add a little flourish for the same money.And Burga doesnt - if youre looking for an exciting and memorable culinary experience its not a good fit either. The food is perfectly passable, but absolutely nothing to write home about.Its stuck somewhere in the middle between these two options, and I dont quite get it. If youre okay with the prices, you can get a decent if boring meal here, though I would probably prefer one of the other places in the same price range nearby. The serving times are fairly short, and you should expect to spend between 10 and 20 EUR here.

Nice place were you can have quite a nice burger. The size of burgers are a but smaller compare to other places but so is the price too. The service is pretty nice too

Big portions, average prices. Good for groups. Menu offers also vegetarian and healthy options. Pork burger meat was nicely juicy. Chicken ceasar salad just melts in your mouth. If you look for Latvian dishes, you can try potato pancakes and drink kvass. As place is crowded in evening, make sure to make reservation, what is for free.

Food/price relation good, but we had to wait for about 50 minutes for two persons. Maybe just a busy point of time. Ill definitely give it a second try!

Loves this place. Portions are very big, couldnt even finish! Prices are quite cheap considering prices at same kind restaurants in Riga. Definitely will come back!

Nice place to meet with friends or colleagues, or to have a lunch. Probably the best salads in Riga - tasty and portions are very big!

Here everything tastes good. Very delicious burgers, pasta and salads. Drinks selection is also very fullfilling. Sometimes when its busy we needed to wait waitress for some time but just get their attention and problem solved. When in doubt, Burga!

Great food great prices. Am 24, asked for a cocktail and needed ID. So bring ID if you plan to drink here. Ordered peppermint tea instead and it came with fresh tea leaves. Liked that part cause I cant get these in aus lol

Good beer, even better Cesar salads, with a pretty good variety of toppings. Prices are in the norm, and theres high tables with stools if you dont want to occupy a 2-4 people table (or cant find a spot, since its packed at meal times). Totally recommend

Delicious food, proper beer.One little detail which is fixable, servers/ bar tenders need to smile more. They have long faces.Otherwise go to place for sure.
