Bunte Burger - veganes Restaurant und Bio-Catering Köln in Langenfeld

We were here for Sunday brunch. We enjoyed it but there is some room for improvement, especially for the price. A relatively large part of the brunch is stuff we could have bought at the local biomarkt (vegan cheese, vegan sausage, vegan honey for example). But there were some self made options as well, we enjoyed the tofu scrambled egg and baked tomatoes. We would have loved to have some fresh raw veggies like cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce. All in all: everything was pretty tasty and we will probably come back for a second time when we want to have a relaxed vegan brunch. And the staff was very nice!

Very good place to Eat. Everything is vegetarian. The staff is really kind and friendly. Everything was very clean in the restaurant. Here is even a place for children to play. I can recommend this restaurant!

WOW! We absolutely loved it. Came for a late lunch on Sunday and it was easy to find a table. The waitress was great and the menu is nothing but fantastic. I love that they are almost completely organic (items that are not, are marked), and there is a beautiful variety of gluten-free dishes. We all had burgers and fries and it was deeeelish- especially the black bean patty. Must go when in Köln!

Burger was massive, had to use a knife and fork also the chicken fillet was nuggets not a fillet

We were looking for a place to have lunch outside that was off the main road. Bunte Burger was convenient to the stop and had a very nice outdoor area. We didnt even realize it was vegan until after we finished eating. My boyfriend could not tell the crispy chickn from regular chicken. Service was friendly and accommodating. They had an English menu which made ordering a little easier so my boyfriend did have to translate each item for me. Im learning German but there is still quite a few words I dont know 🫣. The Rose was crisp and perfect for the weather and the meal.

Nice place for vegan food. I had the beyond meat (impossible meat? Cant rememberburger and it was very good.My friends both got the jackfruit burger, and both werent too happy :/ the patty was a bit in the mealy/mushy side.The Fries however were really good :)

So damn delicious! One of the best vegan places Ive ever eaten at. The only think Id recommend them is to add an English menu but apart from that everything is perfect :)

Holy Moly its mighty delicious. Amaaaazing burgers and fries! Very good beer also. Sadly no aperol spritz.. but hey, burgers are made to be drank with beer or pop right?

Food is ok but ridiculously expensive for what they serve. The only burger thats nearly "worth it" is the one of pulled jackfruit. Im not sure if I would come again

Went for a quick drink, make sure make a reservation because its quickly overbooked. Havent eaten anything so cant judge that. But staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. Bathrooms really clean and overal a nice place to sit too.

Really great burgers, some you wouldn’t even know weren’t meat. If you’re looking to eat sustainably and have a fantastic burger at the same time, no where else to turn if you want variety and quality. They take reservations from what I remember so maybe make one before you go!

Absolutely amazing! Meat eater for most of my life and these burgers are still some of the best burgers Ive ever had!

Rating the establishment 2 stars because I didnt have to pay for my food as it was inedible, otherwise would rate food quality 1 star.OK its vegan, but EVERYTHING is fried. Burger patties, kebap, fries, all dripping oil.Im a bit confused and saddened at the same time about how people can cook such bad quality food, and so many people choose to eat it.

All VEGAN!!! On my first day i had "chicken" and "pulled pork" vegan burgers.. they were made with jackfruit and mushrooms etc.. super nice!!! Loved it! Two days later, i came with another friend and i had the vöner (vegan Döner).. i asked for extra Tzatziki because i like my Döner drowning in sauce! The waiters were nice! I loved the place. Definitely coming back again!!

The place is really classy and burgers are tasty. If you want a super good meal, vegan and healthy, check this address out to come over to eat with friends, family or romantic meeting. There’s not many places to have a vegan meal in Koln. This is my first vegan spot in Koln

Probably my favorite restaurant in Cologne. Amazing variety and their vegan cheese is amazing. Personal favorite: the Camembert Burger.

Came to this place to taste the Beyond Meat Burger which was available for a limited time. The food was good, but quite pricey and overall the experience didnt blow me away. Still a solid location for vegan burgers.

Place is a bit overhyped. I guess if youre a vegan, it has some decent options there. But, if you are not a vegan / vegetarian, this place is probably not for you.

Good location, easy to get to right next to public transport station. Great food, so yummy and all vegan - loved the burger with smoked portobello "bacon". Great staff, so good to see a friendly smiling face even on a rainy day.

My girlfriend and I are both vegan, and went here for dinner this evening. We had a couple of beers, the Italian burger, a döner, truffle fries, a salad, and chocolate mousse for dessert. Everything was delicious! Were both confident that even non-vegetarians would love the food.The wait staff was helpful and friendly. There were English menus available, but in addition, the staff spoke excellent English. Also, unlike most places we visited, they accepted credit cards (my Mastercard debit card worked, anyway).We would definitely be happy to eat here again!

Burgers we ate were tasty but the highlight were definitely the sweet potato fries with aioli dip!

The only down side for me was the service: the food arrived one hour after we have ordered it, as well there was no communication from the waitresses side saying it might take time until we get our food.. Otherwise the food was delish!!!! also for the Carnivore friends that came with 😊

Possibly one of the best Vegan spots in Cologne! Food is great!The problem... service from hell.18 minutes from sitting down (20% capacityto finally being acknowledged by the waitress. Another 13 minutes from the order of two burgers, a beer and a white wine to delivery. Food came out shortly after.I want to like this place... I really do, but this is just insane. I saw one party of four leave the table next to us out of frustration before they could get their order in.This is just unacceptable.Limited choices on Cologne will bring me back and I will update if I ever experience improvement.Edit as response to owner response:23. Great vegan restaurant. The sweet potato fries were amazing and I love their vegan bacon. Yum!

Did enjoy my 2.5 hour visit - we came on Sunday at 12:30, turned out brunch buffet is on and no Burgers before 14:30. So we let the kids have the brunch and waited patiently for the burgers. The stuff was really nice, but I actually expected that well be the first theyll approach when they start serving lunch, since they knew we are waiting for the burgers, but for some reason, they chose to serve other (newercustomers first 🤔. The burgers were good, some more then the others (the BBQ one was the best), but probably a bit overrated. I had better vegan burgers before, but guess I come back again.

If you think vegan burgers must be lame, go there and let them prove you wrong. Their menu has a lot of variety, and the service is good. The only downside for me is that the burgers are a bit small given the prices.

Im not a vegan person but after eating in this Restaurant...Im thinking to be one😁.I like the corner for the kids...Parents can enjoy their food and watch their kids at the same time playing with toys. VERY GREAT IDEA!

I adore this place! Very tasty food, but definitely not the cheapest. They are always busy so be sure to book a table well in advance if youre planning on visiting at the weekend.

I decided to give this restaurant 3 stars because the food was for me too oily. As a recommendation for the chef: maybe less salt for the sweet potatoes will keep more of their raw sweetness.The team is friendly and the burgers are great, if an oily food doesnt bother you.
