I have to agree with the other posters that this was a really good burger, and really delicious onion rings. Compared to current prices everywhere, I thought it was very reasonable, especially for the quality and location in Old Town, so I have to disagree with others that thought it was expensive. I had the double Classic as it comes- it was flavorful, tender, cheesy, and the other toppings were so fresh. I also ordered the Swiss & caramel grilled cheese, which was so delightful- a cheesy, gooey, caramelized onion slice of heaven. The onion rings were cooked to perfection- crunchy, savory, and everything youd want in an onion ring. The staff was amazing, I wish I had gotten their names- but the service was so friendly, which sadly is hard to find these days, so THANK YOU!

Great burgers, excellent fries. Very fresh, buns are delicious, patties are tasty...Many toppings that can be added to your burger (do get the grilled onions!and there so many sauces to put on your burger or dip your fries in. I loved the banana ketchup. Inexpensive for the quality and quantity. We will good here again during our next visit to PR.

Went a couple of days ago and, I’m sorry, but I ordered and the prices online and on the store were different, and that’s a huge problem for me. 35 cents for A DROP of BBQ is beyond wild.

Fries were over cooked and very salty. Burger was ok. Table was sticky and dirty! Line of customers with 1 register open! Employees standing around behind counter chatting!

Great burgers, fries and shakes at reasonable prices.

Me and my girlfriend chose this place since all others were like bars and we just wanted to grab a quick lunch. Sandwiches DONT come with fries so you have to order your fries also. Delicious place. Two chicken tender sandwiches & a side of Fries and a side of Onion Rings came out to $26. We didnt get drinks. But the food was good!

Great spot to hit if your looking for a tasty burger

The service was good and we enjoyed the large variety of hot sauces. Unfortunately the burgers and sandwiches were not good. The chicken sandwich was dry and the chicken was not seasoned at all. The hot sauces couldn’t even help. The beef burger also wasn’t that great. Would not come back here.

Pretty good! Although, the reviews about the fries being soggy and undercooked are totally true so skip on those. The burgers and variety of hot sauces were awesome though 👍

Had the Bacon double double cheeseburger & fries.. Everything is a la carte but fries were great & so was the burger. Lots of sauces & condiments for your fries to dip in or put on your sandwich

Perfectly acceptable hamburgers for a reasonable price in a touristy area with otherwise overpriced restaurants. Service was good. Atmosphere is NOT pretentious. Simple menu of burgers and sides. Great for people who want a good meal and a place to sit without dropping a lot of money.

I went there twice whole on travel for a few reasons. It was 2 minutes from the hotel, they offered lettuce wrap burgers, they were tasty and Wayde was super awesome. Enjoy!

Wow is this place dirty. Food is decent, but my gosh it’s dirty, unkempt and trashy.Watched as two workers using one hand each tried to use a broom and a dust pan, and still missed trash on the floor. Then I asked a worker if she could wipe down a table for us (2and she said she already did. The table was covered in crumbs and wet cup rings! I told her it was dirty and she said “it’ll be a minute. She was STANDING THERE TALKING TO A WORKER!Avoid this place!

So good and open late! Ive eaten a lot of chicken tenders and these are absolutely in my top 5 ever. So unexpectedly great. They also have a lot of topping and sauce options for burgers. Ill definitely make this a San Juan regular.

Placed two separate orders on two different days and both take home orders were missing products.Be sure to review your order(sbefore you leave the restaurant.Sloppy order management.

Very unfriendly customer policies on mobile orders. We placed a mobile order that included 4 iced teas. Our family only drink unsweetened tea, which they didnt have. The teas were not poured so we requested to change to something else. The manager refused to do that bit was happy to keep the money without providing anything and charge us for 4 waters that were the same price.

Went here on a whim on the way out of Viejo San Juan and I was very impressed. Not only did they have a massive menu of customizations, a good beer selection, and a wide variety of entrees, the burger I got was an absolutely perfect smash patty. If you like burgers you gotta try it out.

Super tasty burgers, fresh veggies and soft buns. The veggie burger was really flavorful. We had french fries and sweet potato fries. Both supper crispy and perfectly seasoned.

Wow! This was awesome! Didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the food but when in town, definitely get their double cheese burger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and American cheese 🤤

Great burgers. Ive traveled all over the states and this was one of the better burgers Ive had. The fries and onion rings are both crispy. The buns are made here. Local ingredients are used. Prices are very reasonable.

The burger was delicious. The service was great the gentleman was very thorough in explaining what was already in the burger and what we can add. The place could use a little more cleaning between customers because napkins and receipts where littered all over. The restroom had no toilet paper with the garbage bin past its limits. Maybe this Saturday was a little too crazy for them. Still enjoyed the burger and service despite that

Was craving a good burger and got one. Reasonably priced for the island, clean establishment and pleasant employees. Customize your toppings etc. I enjoyed a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup...delicious!

This place is one of those build your own burger restaurants and they have a ton of great options. Definitely get the onion rings bc they are amazing. I got the double bacon cheeseburger and I couldnt finish it. My fiance loved the float. She was particularly fond of how good the ice cream was. She had chilli cheese fries and of course I took a few for research sake. Staff was friendly and they were very accommodating to the fact that I speak zero Spanish!

Beer selection: Amazing. Burger: good, the bun was stale. Onion rings: crunchy and tasty. Cheese fries: were good. Service : friendly.

I was stuffed. It was all very delicious and very worth while. Although I wish the burger had a bit more flavor, the hot dogs were fantastic and the fries to die for. Onion Rings? Great, but needed a bit more flavor. Burger? It felt unsalted, not seasoned. It needed that amazing burger taste you get from other places like Longhorn or Chillies.Overall? Its a great place and I will gladly return.

Good burger joint that also has chicken options. They also offer both a "skinny" burger and chicken option that forgoes the bun and cheese. Burgers come in both single and double options. Be hungry if you plan to finish off a double. Friendly staff. Could have been five stars but the tables needed a good cleaning as they were all sticky. Will eat here again.

Delicious! Burger and fires were great. Chilli cheese fries are the way to go! Not too cheap not too expensive. Right where burger fries and drink should be at $ wise. Wait wasnt long at all, Friday night. Some of the sit down restaurants were 2 hour waits. This place is Recommended. Changed from 4 stars to 5 stats because how good it was. Had to order some onion rings. Too good!

Nice little place. A bit small. Can get pretty crowded. The burgers well made, tasted pretty good. Can customize it to how you like. Decent price. They offer side hot sauces you can try.

Great restaurant. This is located close to the cruise ship dock. The staff if very friendly. It has a nice mix of locals and those who are visiting. It is very similar to an American 5 Guys type of burgers, only better. This restaurant is also known for its craft beers.

The burger is so good! As good as five guys. The numerous sauces and toppings make it even better. Had the Cajun fries with cheese, and the burger with relish and extra buns sauce. Would highly recommend this place, and would love to go back here. The staff is really friendly too.

Buns Burger Shop is a great little burger shop. Located right across the street from the Galería Paseo Parking (before Don Fela), it’s a less formal, fast casual option. My meal came out to about $13.00, but that’s with 2 additional “premium” toppings and unlimited soda refills.The Cajun fries are great, and you really only need one order between 2 or 3 people. The burger was tender and flavorful, if not a bit greasy. The air conditioning is comfortable, but not overly cold. They also have a hot sauce bar!The staff are friendly and bilingual (a must in Old San Juan). The bathrooms are for patrons only, and therefore are respectably clean.All and all a great place to stop for a bite to eat while exploring the lower part of the city. 10/10 would comenagain!

Excellent burger place! Probably one of the best burgers Ive ever had. Three of us came here and we all enjoyed our food. Burgers were tasty, but not greasy. You can also pick what toppings you want. The fries are amazing. You can top with chesse, bacon, or Cajun spice. Amzing place. The atmosphere is fun and modern. The service was quick and friendly

Awesome music, reasonable prices and the quality is great. If you love chili, youll love this place. Ordered a Chili Dog with the Cheese Fries. The wait wasnt all that long and the service was top-notch. Definitely intend to go back in the next couple of weeks.

Delicious burgers and fries with the right crispiness! The burger had lots of flavor and wasnt too greasy, and the Buns sauce tasted great on it.

Loved the atmosphere and the variety of toppings/sauces for the burgers. The burgers were well cooked and well seasoned. Also a great selection of craft beers and wine.

Not as good as I was told. I have tried burger at about 20 other places in Old San Juan is I was just not impressed with this one. To me it task just like Burger King but with a more dense bun. I did not much care for then bun. If the name of the place is buns it should have a good bun. As others have said the bugger pattie was thin did not have any great flavor just a normal burger. I am glad I ordered sauteed onions as a topping even though they werent sauteed they were just normal white onions tossed on there. The cajun fries were good but its not that hard to make french fries. They do have alot of toppings and they serve beer. The inside is very nice and has plenty of seats. So if you are in the mood for a burger and you are tired of Burger King I guess this is your place.
