What an amazing experience. Starting with the way they welcome us, all dinner was very good. Its a restaurant and also a school of cooking, where young cookers can be seen working with high performance. Very clean, was the best restaurant for me in 20 Bali days!

Wow wow wow, the food was delicious. Only thing is we we’re put into the separate room and had to get attention of staff as we felt like they’d forgotten about us. They were very busy, service was great though. We had nasi campur and nasi pork

This fabulous place served authentic tasting, but presented on a next level balinese cuisine. With that amount of delicious food the only flaw was that we needed more fluffy rice. Reasonable prices and the servers went above and beyond for us. What an enjoyable experience after a long morning of water sports at Benoa.

I ordered shrimp satay plate with iced latte. They were good. The atmosphere is also calm and relaxing

Authentic and quaint Balinese restaurant in Nusa Dua area.Note that they have another branch as well, if you are not staying in Nusa Dua area.Always love their Nasi campur, which is so delicious! Food is very authentic and Balinese style.Staff are very friendly and prompt.

Bumbu was exactly what we had hoped for. We were greeted at door by all staff. Even those in kitchen. They gave us a flower and escorted us to our table. We are vegetarians, but they had lots of traditional food options. Definitely recommend if your in the area.

I went there to try Balinese foods with family including kids aged 13 and 10. From net we found out this one as a famous and authentic restaurant for Balinese and Indonesian foods.Their waitress helped us to order from range of menus.The price was quite expensive.Loved their environment, flavorful and mouth-watering foods. Also liked there presentation of foods.

walked all the way here under the hot sun .. when we finally reached and wanted to order lunch at freaking 1.00pm, they said only dinner left LOL totally wasted my time coming here .. which restaurant don’t serve LUNCH?!at the very least they could’ve put it on the website saying that they don’t serve lunch.Brainless

Do not bother trying other restaurants in this area as this will be the best choice for great Bali cuisine. Food was exquisite, service was above and beyond near by restaurants, and the price for such food was worth it.

Very happy with both Balanese Beef rendeng and grilled chicken. Food was not dry. Generous amount. And cost is very good. Food was served fairly quick, did not need to wait long. Customer service was very nice. 10 out of 10.

Loved it!! My partner & I had 2 year anniversary dinner (and last dinner in Baliat Bumbu Bali 2 we were not disappointed. We had the grilled chicken with coconut sauce and the whole baby chicken and the flavours were stunning!! Thank you to my boss for the recommendation, we were not disappointed. Highly Recommend!!

Although is kinda shocking at first that the price is like a fine dining restaurant..but its kinda worth it since I ordered Ayam Betutu that can be eat up for two people and its quite good! The chicken is so tender and its fancy for you to take a pict with it. Im glad for chosed that menu instead for others menu. Cause the other menu is too pricey for me a local person who used to eat all the indonesian food.Its more suitable for tourists from another country who wants to taste much of indonesian food in one place & with a fancy platter.About the place its better if you make reservations first so you wont wait too long, since its quite crowded even though its a weekdays. You got a flower to be placed in your ears to which is quite a good promotion or for taking a selfie with. Lol.And its not too spacious, and an classic traditional interior.

Great authentic Balinese and Indonesian food prepared under supervision of long term expat!.if you are a spice hound this is nirvana. Atmospheric vibe attentive knowledgeable staff. If you need more culture come when a side of traditional dance is served.

Yum! A must if you’re by Nusa Dua. Amazing food, great taste and service. Very nice atmosphere and sometimes they offer a car service from your hotel. Everyone from rich to poor comes here. Quite authentic and fun.

Great local traditional ambiance and architecture with delicious local delicacies. The nasi campur, sate Babi, sate Ayam and freshly made ice cream were excellent.

Food is okay, traditional restaurant with traditional Indonesian food and drinks. Not cheap, tourist price.We go by ourselves and the restaurant can take you back to your hotel if your hotel is situated in Nusa Dua district.

Very delicious and authentic food! The quality of the meat and veggies is high and everything is seasoned well. Service is excellent. Make a reservation from your hotel and they will include transportation for free. We had papaya salad with duck, chicken in coconut milk (curry), and my husband had the grilled ribs. We had the veggie salad. It’s not really a salad but it is sautéed veggies in a yummy peanut sauce. It was so much food we didn’t even come close to finishing. And the mango juice is very good!

Best Nasi Goreng I’ve ever had, just perfect when you ask them to spice it up, I totally recommend and the only reason for the 4 stars is the price and the serving size of the curries that we ordered. You need to take into account that rice plays a much larger roll in meals here, so less curry is normal.Their traditional dishes were good and the presentation of the meals is amazing!

Didnt reserve table so when we went there at 6.20pm, the staff told us if we leave before 7.30pm then we can have the table. Well, cant think of anything nearby, so yup, a bit of challenging, to order, eat and go in an hour. got a little bit lost the moment when we look at the menu, as we were not quite sure what are the items there, lots of spices..so for simple, we ordered two pax meal. Overall, i thk it is nice to try new things, new food, but we r not quite used to the taste of the spices...we r two big eaters, with a six yr old kid, and ended up we didnt finish the food for two... It cost approx USD70, which i dont thk it is worth the money.. all dishes, except the yellow rice, are either spicy or lightly spicy , we did ask the waitress if there is anything not spicy so kiddo can eat, but hmmm... so kiddo only ate the rice... talk abt service, they are ok, but they will give more patience and smile to non-asian faces.. thats my observation.

Nice little restaurant close to the Grand Mirage. Was quiet when I arrived, but the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nice atmosphere. Ordered a Pina Colada and the Beef Rendang. Thank goodness I didnt order a starter as my main was huge! Could definitely share between two. The taste of the actual beef was a bit bland, but the rest was tasty. Would recommend. Cost of my dinner for one was 300,000RP.

I am so glad to have found this place. The food is absolutely AMAZING! Every bite gives an explosion of taste and spices. My friend (an omnivoreand I (a vegetarianended up going 3 times, 1 for lunch and 2 for dinner.It was not always easy to find a purely vegetarian meal while in Bali, but Bumbu had a good enough selection and it was very tasty. Service is impeccable, always with a smile and an explanation of each dish. Also, since we came in the rainy season, mosquitoes were a big issue everywhere we went, so was glad to see they had mosquito repellant lit up under each table, and the smell was not disturbing at all.I tried the Vegetarian Nasi Goreng (fried rice which came with tempeh sate and a salad; the Pesan Wong (grilled mushrooms in banana leaf); and the Gedang Mekuah (green papaya soup w/vegetables). My favorite was the Nasi Goreng which was not greasy and full of taste, followed by the Gedang Mekuah. This soup is on the very spicy side, but nevertheless delicious... and I am one who can normally take spicy quite well. My least favorite was the Pesan Wong since I felt the flavours a bit flat but it was quite salty.For desert we tried the 5-spice and lemongrass ice creams (unfortunately we didnt have much room after the large meal portions). The lemongrass ice cream was very mild in taste, but I would definitely recommend the 5-spice ice cream.

Satay/sate was a really good starter, the mains we had I dont think were to our taste. I found the minced fish in banana leaf, over cooked and over seasoned the rendang my wife had wasnt that great. We left quite a bit at the end. I found our waitress a little pushy, Im still eating starters and shes taking the plate from under me for the next course. No one asked us in the very far corner table if the food was ok once we started eating either. I would go back again just for starters though they are worth it.The presentation of the food was lovely and the setting is beautiful. We were welcomed with flowers in our hair which was a nice touch.

We had the seafood platter for dinner, it was great amount of food and really fresh seafood. Service is not very friendly I would say. We couldnt finish our food and I asked the waitress if I could pack it. She brought me box and bags, and said nothing. I assumed you have to pack it by yourself(for that you have to pay them 21%tax and service?!We actually ordered the vegetable fried noodles without chili for the kids and they brought up first with chicken sate and chili in. So she took it back, put the chicken right into my plate. Maybe we should of check with her if she got the wrong order. But an the end we had to pay for what we didnt order, the meat fried noodle. It wasnt so tasty BTW. For trying traditional Balinese food is good experience but it is really really pricy..

Nice Balinese restaurant. Famous especially for suckling pig but minimum order is for 6ppl and they need 24hrs notice. Theres quite a few mosquitoes at this location, not sure about Bumbu Bali 1. Food was delicious though. Both the pork ribs in Balinese sauce, and the curries were great!
