Food fantastic - fresh and delicious 😋

Had chinese here a few times, can be a bit of a hit or miss. Unfortunately on this occasion we got given someones sweet and sour pork that had not turned up to pick up their order and had been sitting there for a while. Got it home one minute up the road and it was pretty much stone cold and the sauce had gone hard. They must of realised this when they gave it to us. Basically I am feeling pretty ripped off that I paid good money to get someone elses cold dinner!

Enjoyed a great Chicken Chowmein. Very tasty and not too much "cooking juice", which was personally appealing.

Ordered Chicken fried noodle and cost me $19, wow that is expensive but when I got it, it is 1 Kg noodle. Enough for 3 people. Great value for money. And also delicious.

Great food! Lovely chicken fried rice and black bean stir fry...only problem is the hours of service! When or when are you not open? Seems to vary week to week! Love your food though...brilliant

Food was good, just ease up on the salt content, service was good.

Had the chow mein and fried rice. Both were large and tasty - the chow mein had plenty of fresh vegetables and the fried rice had plenty of chicken.

Got combination fried rice and combination fried noodles last night. The service from the young girl was very good. The first thing I noticed was the dishes were different sizes. They used egg noodles which was a first for me. The pork was cut into chunks and was quite tough yet the beef and chicken was tender. Definitely overpriced for what you get. The proportion of rice and noodles leaves you digging for the meat and veges. Not the best Chinese food but also not the worst believe it or not.

Chips were fairly good but the customer service was the worst I had ever had. The man serving didn’t say anything at all, ended up having to look at the little screen on the till In order to know how much it was. Wasn’t welcoming at all. Other people I went with said he didn’t talk at all either

Very nice fish and chips. The wait was long it was very very busy (Tuesday nightand we didnt get our spring roll but what we got was very nice.

10 OUT OF 10! Absolutely amazing customer service, with a smile :we got special chicken noodles, lemon chicken, wontons and deep fried mushrooms. Everything came way better than expected. I could taste every flavour on the flame wok cooked noodles and chicken! Mushrooms were perfect as always! Love this place!

Probably the worst fried rice Ive ever had in my life. There was barely and seasoning, and I dont think soy sauce was even used. Requested for it to be made medium spicy and was charged a dollar extra. Yet regardless of paying extra, I couldnt even feel the heat from the chillies.I wish I could write something positive, but there is nothing much to say.They also need brushing up on their customer service, as the gentlemen serving me appeared apathetic.Please improve ..

Not good. Go elsewhere.So disappointed.Wish we didnt carry on driving before opening our order, it would have gone straight back.Almost all chips burnt, dry, oily, and like they were scraped from the bottom of a barrel. No actual potato chunks. Ordered quite a large amount and got a teeny tiny amount of food. What a waste of money. Robbed.

Veggies were cooked well and fresh. The sauce on all our dishes was very bland (I asked for chili sauceand not what I expect from Chinese cuisine. The sweet and sour fish was a whole fillet fried then chopped up and put in a weird sweet sauce but all the batter was falling off and soggy. Couldnt eat it. The spring rolls had mince beef in them and were greasy, again really bland and lacked the freshness youd expect. I regret spending $50 there. The prawns and cashews were generous to be fair, just the sauces needed work. Also one dish said it came with rice but we didnt get anything.

Appalling quality Ive be to this restaurant twice now once for fish and chips and just now for a wonton soup the burger buns are tiny the chips they gave me looked as if they had been scraped from the bottom of the deep fryer and now the wonton soup!! It looks like they have used to minute noodles gave 1 broccoli and have it in what appears to be the water from the noodles. If you want a good feed Id highly recommend you stay clear of this place horrendous quality and grubby store will not be going back and will be letting as much people know of this place

Cheese burger was not very nice cheap and nasty could of made a better one at home it was yuk and I didnt eat it it was that bad I feed it to my dog

One of the best takeaways here in Westport. Their Pork and Egg burger are off the chain and the chips remind me of home. They are one of the best Ive tasted around Buller

Best low cost small town fish & chips I’ve had for ages. Fish was incredibly delicious, chips were great. Outside of the boutique big city “chippery” places, this is one of my top F&C spots.

I LOVE all of the dishes on the Chinese menu, but my absolute favourite thing to get is a pineapple ring in cinnamon sugar. Cannot recommend this enough!!

The burgers are different and nice the good thing is the burger is always the same I just love consistency what a great place

The food was atrocious. Chips cooked in old oil .. fish small over cooked and running with fat. Spring roll was burnt . The worst meal that we have experienced.

I was very disappointed with the whole situation., 1 staff member plus 1 Cook. Not that was a problem but I have worked in retail for over 30 yrs and I was taught that the customer in front of you is more important than phone cust. Not so in this shop. I ordered sweet and sour pork. Im sorry but didnt recognise the meat at all. Definitely wasnt pork

My husband and I got fish chips and Paua patties from here yesterday and now my husband is layed up violently Ill with food poisoning! The fish was sitting out in the open not refrigerated and its was slimey batter slid off while eating it and the Paua smelt and tasted rank! Never again

I think the fried rice was cook day before, and the fish was totally seriously "NICE"

The fish was covered in flys when shown selection when commenting on varieties mentioned that fish was covered in flys owner just said that they dont eat much. Yuk wouldnt recommend this place ever.

Disgusting old chicken. Rice was soggy and clearly had been sitting for hours. overall horrible experience. requested refund as I then had to go pay for MORE food else where and was told no because I clearly dont like the "style" when I got 4 other people to try and they all agreed it was feral.Surprisingly food came fast, which proves my point it had been sitting all day.Dont come here unless you want salmonella.

Most of the time good fish and chips plus Chinese take out food.Only place in town that dose in shop cut chips. (Very good with vinegar)Can be hit and miss with small over cooked fish and long wait times depending on whos cooking.Easy to find being on the main street and right next to the fire station.

Great fish and chips, but my favourite is prawn fried rice. The wontons and sweet and sour sauce yummy!

Very poor, I only tasted one month full.I guess the temperature of the "food " to be within one degree of the culture temperature of food borne bacteria. Yuck!!!!!
