Great place to unwind during the weekend. Book your river rafting, it’s totally worth it!

Pretty lovely place, with beautiful nature, and u can already cook a 🥓🍖 on real fire with great public place to chill with your friends or family, but the roads to this place is like 4/10, and some not the good touristic infrastructure

Nice place for bouldering. Very beautiful and green place. A lot of bus-tours , so all this crowd a little bit annoying .

Very peasant, adorable place. Excellent for 1 day trip for any kind of visitors.There are climbing facilities here ( for more experienced visitors), places for swimming and diving, waterfall and a lot of nature spots.Also you can put up a tent and stay here as long as you wish.Be careful: there are no restaurants here (at least we didnt see any), so take food with you.

there is a lot of rubbish in some places, although there are garbage cans with the inscriptions "Buky clean village". the local fauna looks dangerous: young people threw large stones into the river while my friend and I were near the river. but the canyon is still beautiful, there is where to climb, what to seeP.s.: I came back here in the summer for a walk, but summer is a very touristy place. during the day there is nowhere to go - everywhere there are tents, people and barbecue.

traveling across Ukraine, dont forget to stop by the Butsky Canyon. Magnificent nature will open to your eyes

Nearly 2,5 hour from Kiev City center...Last 1 hour roads are bad....View is beautifull but water is dirty, not usefull for swimming...Maybe will be interesting who loves camping and photopraphing...Also if you are on a vacation to Odessa City, you can give break at there...Good Luck )

This is just awesome place, but a bit overcrowded

Buky Canyon - what a wonderful place! To do rock-climbing, sightseeing, hiking through the canyon. Enjoy marvelous views from down at river banks or at top of steep rock walls.You will see different pictures at various times: be it noon or evening, summer or early spring.

Freaking amazing. Astonishing views. Clean water. Great hiking trail. Some people do cliff-climbing as well. Must visit for nature-lovers

Beautiful. But the road to the canyon is hell and there is no infrastructure. No place to eat, no place to rest, no normal toilets.

Place of the really beautiful but the road is with a number of holes. So it is not convenient to get there.

Good place for walking. Beautiful river and canyon! Many people on weekend.

Nice place for light hike, you can go through all area in one day. No hotels, day time only grocery stores. No ATMs . But still good place to check if you have just a couple of hours. There is a forbidden water energy plant, the fist in USSR, its free to explore. Cheers

Beautiful place with great landscapes

The very first impression is rather contradictory. But later on you realize the real magic of the place. Wonderful nature, amazing views and nice and friendly local people. Apple juice suggested by the lady in small shop near the canyon was unbelievably delicious.Do recommend.

Decent.Garbage everywhere thoughtFar from, say, Great Canyon. WAY smaller than it appears in photos.Ways toward this are abysmal or an adventure of its own (if you into this kind of thing): roads leave you wonder if they were bombed or ridden by heavy tanks right after the last repair around WW2 ending. No signs.Local services nearly absent, but there are few "hotels" (primitive B&B), in the village near there is a small store or two. Same goes for cafes.During daytime several locals sell many kinds of Ukrainian homemade dishes: vareniki, pirogues, ham, along with coffee. Ridiculous amount of honey products. All in all quite good and very cheap; but if you are not a Ukrainian it very well might appear rather questionable as to hygiene and general appearance...All of these gather right after the bridge, near a bus stop; right below the dam. You must come early to get anything, but you may make arrangements with sellers to have something prepared for you for a later time at THEIR homes.After all, this place, despite being a great LOCAL site, not worth travel. We regret waiting time driving from Kiev. But might be a great stop if you happened to travel in some vicinity from this. Ukrainians tend to oversell its appeal TREMENDOUSLY. Then again: it goes for almost everything.P.S. During weekends and holidays the piles of garbage harmoniously amended by crowds, barbeques smoke and fair number of heavily drunk roughes

Super place for short trekking and camping

One of the most interesting and beautiful place you can find in central Ukraine. You can observe the oldest hydroelectric station in Ukraine, nice rocks and swim in fresh water.Also it’s a very common place to have an outdoor lunch for a tourist. Be prepared to take some time walking around and be amazed.

Nice views. Got time to visit are summer, spring and Autumn.

Very nice place, beautiful canyon

Its a rear peace of unusual for Ukraine rocky Canyons. Beautiful nature, free access, it attracts many visitors to swim under a small waterfall and to roast BBQ on its rocky banks. There is a place where professional climbers host a mini camp annually. Must visit for those who like active recreation.

Great natural wonder of Ukraine. Brilliant place for camping, hiking and rock climbing

Beautiful place! Nevertheless, it’s a regular Ukrainian village, so don’t expect reach services here. The village features just a couple of shops and cafés. For hungry travelers I can recommend a nice restaurant “Shokolad” located near the village’s center. As for the canyon itself, it is great, but mind to be careful :)

Beautiful calm nature. Nice place to enjoy natural masterpieces :)It is peaceful and meditative, relaxing and inspiring. If you are traveling in this part of Ukraine be sure to reserve time and visit the secret beauty heart of the Butskyy district.Some practice yoga here, other photo hunt, and some look for inspiration.
