Rustic-industrial cafe serving breakfast, house-made bagels, salads, sandwiches & coffee drinks.
Scrumptious brunch with matcha at an affordable price. Great location.Delish delish delish!!
Absolutely loved this place!!! Became my favourite spot in Mississauga for brunch and coffee. Amazing service and lovely ambience. A lot of Vegetarian options were there! ♥️
Tried their Bagel egg cheese sandwich. Sesame Bagel seemed stale or had a distinct sour taste. Ambience of the place is nice. Order was extremely late.
Glad I took some time to look up different cafes for a visit into town. Tried the cocoa crave and it was very tasty! Great pick-me up, especially for a busy morning and looking forward to bringing a double espresso and a couple drip coffees to my meeting. The decor and atmosphere is a comfy but lively vibe. Would like to come back and try other menu items, especially the pastries.
Buka Maranga is one of the best cafes I’ve been to. It is a true hidden gem. The bagels are delicious, the breakfast is exquisite and the coffee is simply perfection. However the best part of this cafe is it’s staff. Kind, welcoming and they treat you like family. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who cares about their caffeine dosage and stomach 🙂
Delicious coffee and Avocado Bagel! Clean, comfortable atmosphere. Tina was vefy helpful. I will be back fir sure!
This a favourite we only wish we had where we live in N Ont. It is definitely worth a few minutes detour off the 401. Coffee is excellent, prepared foods are freshly made of quality produce, and the soup was home-styled and delicious (mushroom). Definitely worth a visit.
Love this place for the bagels and open bagel sandwiches and daily soups never disappoint. If they have the pistachio cake when you visit, get a slice with a coffee or latte its soo good!
The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and seating layout, especially on warmer days. The food is great, coffee and beverages tasty and the staff are wonderful.
Great bagel assortment, quality food with wholesome menu, and incredible cappuccino. The aged cheddar was particularly flavourful. Kitchen may be slightly unorganized at times, but doesn’t detract from experience.
Great atmosphere, beautiful rich coffee and delicious pastries, I will have to try the bagels next time. Please add Lactose Free milk to your menu 🙏
I really wanted to like this place. We came for brunch on a sunday afternoon and the place wasnt crowded (should have taken the hint!-- food and coffee menu is pretty limited but we didnt mind. The Cold Brew Flask was actually just a regular glass of cold brew just named misleadingly. The avocado toast and omlettes were ok, nothing special.
Quality, made-in-house ingredients.Coffee is excellent, food is worth a visit just on its own. Substantial sized menu, good variety without being overwhelming. All healthy & fresh ingredients: aged white cheddar (instead of processed cheese like most places now), house made avocado mash (instead of guacamole out of a bag with chemicals and preservatives). Fresh made-in-house bagels. One of my fav spots.
This place has lively ambience. Seating area is divided into outdoor and indoor once the partition is opened. Several different seating arrangements which we liked! It gives a feeling if café.We ordered vegetarian Omelet and Vegetarian Piadini along with caramel mocha. We loved mocha. It was just delish. Food was okay. It could have been better. Also, very few options for vegetarian (3 or 4 dishes).Staff is friendly.Place doesnt require reservations. We got table when we arrived. Also there is no table service. You need to order at the counter and find empty table.Added menu and some pictures for reference.
I am glad I found this place! The food and coffee is amazing. I loved how cozy the atmosphere was, I was able to sit, relax and read my book! Its a great place if you want to just come and do some work for sure. Amazing customer service as well. Ill be a returning customer!
The interior of the restaurant is pretty and spacious and they have many seats. One thing I wish they had was air conditioning since it is very hot outside.I got one of their grain bowl and I dont remember which one I got. The dressing of the salad is the key, it made the salad a lot yummier and more flavourful. Other than bowls, they serve classic breakfast like bagels and omelettes (this is what my friend got), it tastes pretty good and it looks amazing.I really liked how they have a lot of different drinks on the menu, some of them you cannot even find in other stores. this time I tried their iced Lavender Blue matcha latte, when it was served, I was kinda scared of drinking it because it looks like a pretty funny blue. But it actually tastes pretty good, the Lavender flavour and the Matcha flavour are actually pretty balanced and it is very tasty.
Maybe the best bagle place in Sauga! In love with either thier lox or avacado concoctions! Drinks can be a hit or a miss, but they make a killer London Fog. Gr8 atmosphere and patio too!
Great atmosphere, super friendly staff and food was fresh and delicious. Also one of the very few good cafes in the area that isn’t a chain. Definitely a hidden gem!
This is a great location for good eats and great coffee. Its been in Meadowvale for a long time. All of the staff are great and the location is clean and well kept. Doors and windows open wide so lots of good ventilation! Will be back many more times!
I hope the manager reads this to fix the issue as I generally like their fresh and healthy food here.I just ordered the veggie piadini but it was totally disappointing.Barely any roasted vegetables in the wrap.Balsamic dressing in the wrap dominated everything else inside and made it very sweet and soggyIt was like a side garden salad with lots watery balsamic in an open wrapDid not stay together even eating very fastWas not worth the 18$ at all
This is a very good spot. Good food and coffee and as such I give it a 5 star. However it will frustrate you if you are in a hurry or impatient. The time from walking in, placing your order and finally being served is excessive. Management really should look at how the current process can be streamlined.
Place is pretty hip, with a couple of people with laptops choosing to do their work here. Its a nice place for that. The menu was oddly stretched out to the right of the cashier which isnt very efficient. Ordered a Citrus Quinoa salad with smoked salmon and chicken couscous soup. They dont have trays so I have to make 2 rounds for the food. I liked the salad it was refreshing with was sweet sour and savory. The problem is the soup which was serve to me cool. Not hot, not warm but cool...which is never good for soup.
Lovely place, friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and variety of coffee.
This has got be the best cafe in this area. Fresh, delicious 🤤 croissants and refreshing smoothies. Excellent customer service.
I came across this place online and decided to try it. I thought that the customer service was excellent, although it did take a little bit of time before we got our order.I liked the set up of the place and find it very simple. I also like how the theme remains constant throughout, even on the cups. I found the vanilla hazelnut latte slightly strong, but the chai latte was good. I wouldve preferred the egg sandwich to be toasted and warm. The veggie wrap was great, healthy and tasty. Its also a great place to hang out. Turmeric latte was great.Update: still my favourite breakfast place!
This is definitely a top cafe in Mississauga. Majority of items on the menu are baked, and made in house. The decor is nice, very clean, food and coffee top notch. Great job team Buka, you guys do amazing! Thank you for opening something other than a chain coffee shop.
I really enjoyed this cafe. They have a great beverage menu and both hot and cold are very good. The salads are delicious as well and decent portions. It’s just on the pricier side for what it is
This place is a gem , strange we have passed by so many times but never tried it.Finally dropped after gym to give it a shot and was not disappointed at all.Got Veggie Padini , avacado toast and Turkey sandwich. We all really enjoyed our food and the salad was soooo good . Will be going often now
The Cafe has a nice vibe - warm, cozy and welcoming. Though I think they can do better in terms of the decor inside. We ordered a hummus bagel, power bowl, Cafe latte and a cappuccino. The food was really good, tasted fresh and the presentation was also very pleasing to the eyes. I was a bit disappointed with the drinks; they werent hot enough and didnt taste that good.Overall, it was a good experience and I would visit again in the future
So I had this place on February 5th for my bday. I ordered the lox bagel. The wait time was pretty long and it seems like a lot of people were waiting for some time. The food its self was good. The pickled onions definitely go well with everything. My only negative was that the bagel its self wasnt as fresh as I expected it to be and it was toasted a bit too much. Nice little Cafe and Id definitely go again for the lox bagel. Good selection of hot drinks as well.
Loved this place, the atmosphere is so amazing and warm, you feel home in this place. And the food is very tasty and done well..Love it ❤️
HIDDEN GEM!! Havent had anything I dont like! Kale smoothie, Hazelnut latte hot or iced are fantastic and the bagels!! Who knew a bagel could be this good! Amazing! The owner is incredibly hospitable and accommodating. Love this place!Been back and love this place all the more! ❤. Had the omlette this time and bagel, of course 😋
I’ve been coming to Buka Maranga for over a few years and their service and food has always been top notch. I usually get the avocado on a multigrain bagel with a latte and it’s the best breakfast ever. They also have really good lunch salads and smoothies that are always fresh and healthy, its a must try. Highly recommended!!
Let’s start with the atmosphere: unique. Despite the classic outside look of this local café in Mississauga, the inside displays a beautiful range of modern design and furniture. They provide free wifi, and a wide variety of menu options - a diversity of classic items for safer picks and flavourful foods and drinks for food lovers.I tried 3 items:The Lox Bagel, Whole Wheat Banana Bread, and the Lavender Blue Matcha Latte. The Lox Bagel offers a blend of flavourful moments in a single bite. The delicious taste of the smoked salmon is complemented by the acidity of the capers and tangy kick from the sauces and onions. All of this topped on a spread of herbs and garlic cream cheese and artisan cheddar bagel.Any other Banana Bread would have been overpowered by a thick buttery texture and consistency, yet Buka Maranga’s version is quite light and pleasant. Not overly sweet, not heavy, just the right bite. I wouldn’t recommend having it as the only breakfast item, but it perfectly complements a coffee or a hot beverage. My surprise was trying the Lavender Blue Matcha Latte. The milk foam visual with the warmer tone of blue sets the tone for a tasty, aromatic sip of latte. You would think matcha would dominate the taste of the drink, but in reality it just adds a nice texture to the drink. Interesting hot drink! Would definitely recommend it.Highly recommend this place. Great atmosphere, delicious food and beverages.
It’s a unique place. This is my first time here. I had a lemonade and my friend had coffee both were delicious. The place is very cozy and suitable for work or study as they have many food choices that you can have while staying there. They have free wifi as well. Chairs and couches are very comfortable. The atmosphere and decor were nice too. I would come back. Also, the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
When you make a place your ‘home away from home’ (mind you, you live 7 minutes away 😉you can tell how good this place is! It’s by far the best coffee, breakfast, bagels, sandwiches in a 100km radius. The customer service is absolutely heartwarming; Tina is always welcoming, courteous and smiling. Trust her recommendation if you don’t know what to get!Oh, and thank you for such a clean and relaxing environment! Download their friendly app to order in advance if you don’t have time.Buka Maranga, I’m sorry I never frequented you before. I’m totally committed to rectifying that!
A unique cafe. Very different from the many chains in mississauga. The menu is simple and uncomplicated. Ordered avocado bagel and Lox. The food is fresh and tastes good. Would certainly recommend if one needs a break from the regular coffee chains.
We dropped by Buka Maranga for breakfast and loved the vibe inside. The cafe is trendy and has garage doors that open up to the outside giving the whole place a very welcoming and airy atmosphere. We ordered a Lox Bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and a Veggie Florentine Omlette with a Berry Punch Smoothie. The Lox Bagel was great, the salmon was fresh and the cream cheese was delicious. It was very filling and worth the money. However, I didn’t enjoy the Veggie Florentine as much, the goat cheese was definitely too strong for my liking. I also wish the side of potatoes in the dish weren’t as hard; they felt unbaked and were difficult to eat.Lastly, our smoothie was good, while it had a rather strong cinnamon taste to it, it was a really unique touch to a a classic berry smoothie.
What a wonderful brunch spot! Super friendly staff and great healthy food. Ive celiac disease and it was nice to enjoy fresh GF bread with my meal. The ambience is nice, the prices are very reasonable, and I love the open air feeling. Ill definitely be coming back here again!!
Highly recommend this spot! Friendly service and we got the vanilla hazelnut latte and coconut latte which were delicious. Didn’t get a chance to try the food items but definitely will next time plus they have a cute patio setup. They had a lot of merch options you can purchase that looked very cute too.
I tried the smoked salmon bagel (the spread is a bit too much for me, but my bad I shouldve leaved a noteand the avocado bagel, the salmon one is sooo nice, avocado one is not really for me (chives warning 😅 I really cant eat any chives..)
Friendly staff, best coffee bar in the area and some really tasty food and drinks. I tried the tuna salad sandwich, but on one of their (made fresh dailybagels. It was delicious. My wife really liked the grain bowl she ordered.. also the coconut lemonade was 👌
Such a great experience! The cafe is really inviting and the decor naturally puts you to ease. The food is so delicious! Simple Ingredients that really work well. They also bake their own bagels every morning!!!! They have an incredible selection of food and drinks. Their patio is also open now, which is also great! I went with a few friends and definitely a place I will be visiting for that Brunch fix. I look for something different in a Cafe and they certainly have the classics but at the same time some creative fixes. The Service was amazing too.
Very trendy cafe serving fresh, healthy & delicious food. This place has become my favorite joint to hangout with family & friends. There bagels, sandwiches, soups, salad bowls, eggs, smoothies & hot & cold lattes are amazing. I am in love with this place ❤️❤️
I really love this cafe. Really good vibes and smartly designed interior. Lots of individual tables and seats for more intimate hang out. The food here is healthy and portions are perfect. They are located away from the Erin Mills frontage so go in from Millcreek.
YumGreat coffee and the power bowl was tasty, healthy, and looked appetizing. The pea and spinach soup of the day was good too. Not overly salty. Friendly staff and modern comfortable decor.Six months later... still excellent.
Good ambience and service. Loved the classic breakfast bagel as well as the vegetarian omlete was good with side of greens and bagel.Only disappointment was the coffee machine was under maintenance and could not try my usual mocha/latte here. Just normal coffee or tea was available. Will be visiting gain to try this out.Overall great place for breakfast!
Didnt know about this place. Was recommended I try this place while I wait for some work to be done on my car by Graham (Tint World Mississauga Owner). He was spot on with his recommendation. Its a nice little cafe. Has a nice lounge/seating area and free wifi. I tried the Avocado Breakfast Bagel and...WOW. It looked amazing! It tasted just as good too! The ingredients and bagel were nice and fresh! If you get a chance, stop by and try it. I will definitely be coming back with the wife so she can try it too.
Ive been here twice, and both times enjoyed absolutely phenomenal food. The first time I ordered avocado on bagels, basic, beautiful, and most importantly DELICIOUS. That first visit was in February, and I suppose the colder weather prevented them from keeping the kind of garage-like door/wall that separates the outside from the inside open. On my second visit in the summer, they had an open air concept going on where the doors were open, which didnt work as well for me as the closed off winter version. A bunch of bugs flew around my food in the summer, which was unpleasant and annoying. Other than that, the seating and lounge area were very relaxed and comfy, and the server was very friendly and took initiative well.
The food is so so so good and so far every time I have been in, every single person that works there has gone above and beyond. Everything is flavorful and the coffee was perfect. They have WiFi and open up a wall so there is fresh air. Bar seats, tables and couch.
