A very peaceful, clean and safe beach near Holmsbu. 1 hour drive from Oslo and you are in a remove small village. There are ample parking spaces, a small town centre with some good restaurants, marina, picnic areas, washrooms, etcWe went on a Saturday afternoon and found that the beach was empty and we could have a picnic there and go for a swim. The beach has pebbles but once you are in water, it is all sand. There is a temporary diving platform for kids to have a safe dive and enjoy the summer afternoons. Highly recommended.
