Bugsy's Bar in Prague

Two stars because the place esthetically looked decent. Service was bad we were not acknowledged. Ordered at the bar and the bartender took forever to serve us that we thought he forgot. Drinks were very sugary barely. We left at one drink.

Amazing cocktails and super cool venue. Food was delicious, we tried the dumplings that were going to be on the menu which were the tastiest dumplings we had all of our trip. Highly recommended for a great cocktail bar!

Good cocktails with a nice service. Nice atmosphere in the city center. The tables where a bit to close to eachother but overall experience was good.

Definitely get away from touristy Old Town and go to Bugsys! Best drinks, best service. All of the bartenders are amazing (Tomas is the best though). Each drink is exquisitely made just for you.

Bar with good vibes where you can see the bartender mixing cocktails in front of you. Although we dont speak Czech, they were pretty nice. Cocktails were both original and tasty.

Stumbled upon this bar with my friend and couldn’t have been happier with the drinks and the service. Excellent cocktails. Our bartender was able to create some custom cocktails based on our preferences. Great time. Should be noted that people do smoke inside, so if that bothers you, you might want to select a different bar.

Over the top cocktail bar

An extraordinary place with excellent service and perfect cocktails. A necessary stop for any cocktail-lover visiting Prague, arguably one of the best places to have a drink in town. Besides its vast menu of alcohol, you can choose from a wide variety of delicious snacks to get along with your drink! The jazz music in the background just accentuates an overall amazing experience.Do not hesitate to try the refreshing cocktail Ruby Tuesday and the Bugsys Tiky Head!

Saying that this is a exquisite cocktail bar would make me "captain Obvious". Thanks to my visit in the middle of the week and shortly after opening hours, I had a chance not only to drink some of the delicious cocktails (the rest hopefully soonbut also had nice talk with barman about ingredients, state of the bar scene in Prague and more. Oh, what a nice evening it was, cant wait to be back in Prague and visit Bugsys again.

Awesome bar! The staff is friendly and knows how to make delicious cocktails. Whether you like classics or would like creative new tastes - they have them both. The front side of the bar looks a bit strange (with red kisses), but the inside is stylish.

Cracking bar, great interior design, very reasonable prices and expert guys behind the bar. The guys serving us on Friday evening were incredible. Served us cocktails that weren’t on the menu on request and everything we had was fantastic. One of them even gave us info and places to visit in Prague. Fantastic services and so much better than a lot of the tourist trap bars in Prague!

This is an absolute exquisite bar with an astonishing interior design. The fabulous drinks are made with love by the sweetest bartenders.

My experience here is two-sided.On the one hand, we had a great evening here for my birthday with absolutely wonderful drinks and atmosphere at fair prices.On the other hand, when coming back a couple of days later not dressed just as nicely and without a reservation, the waiter was quite unwelcoming, saying she did not know if anything was going to be free at any point in time and asking us to stand for a while despite multiple tables being free after 22:30 (22:00 is last time you can reserve a table). So it really seemed like they did not want our business and we left.Pity, I really enjoyed the first evening but the second ist experience makes me hesitant to come a third time.

The staff were very rude. Gave us the expensive menu only and sat other people down before us. Disgusting.

This is one of the best bars I have ever been to in Europe. The service is super helpful, attentive and extremely friendly. The drinks are phenomenal and the bartenders cater to your individual wishes. I cannot recommend this place enough. I will definetly come back here the next time I am in Prague.

Amazing decoration, horrible music, very busy and noisy. Quite creative and tasty drinks, but rather expensive for what you get. There is a complete mismatch between the attractive old style decoration and the off putting busy fashion bar atmosphere. We ordered two drinks of the same price, both were tasty, but one was almost half a liter while the other was served on a small sake cup and this is not easily visible in the menu. We quickly finished our drink and left the place.

Modern bar with nice drinks and great service!Drinks were original and nicely mixed. I really liked the different shapes of glasses. Very artsy and elegant at the same time. The giant ice cube was also a nice touch.The service was amazing. Friendly and attentive.I had a very good time here!

Second time in Prague and of course second time in my favourite bar!!!If you love cocktails but also if you love gin, search no more!!!!This time we had a gin and tonic session, we tried different types, from their Bugsys gin with thomas henry tonic, to gin mare with Mediterranean tonic and we finished with Opihr (we chose it a little spicyand Schweppes tonica pimienta rosa, which was a great closing!!!Next time you are in Prague, visit this place and if you are lucky and sit on the bar, you will have a unique experience!!!

Super bad service!!!!! 2 waiters for the whole bar + a waiter ( rude woman with black hairwanted to cheat us for money. First she tried to convince us that we drank it all and when it didnt work she said that the terminal doesnt work!!!!! (Like what??!!Really??!!!I have no idea why this bar has good reviews!

Excellent bar, which over the years has maintained its standard. We sat at the bar and just had a few cocktails. Good vibe, great cocktails and attentive bartenders. A great saturday experience.

Great place, with good music and energetic vibe.My spouse and I went there after a long day walking Prague.Even though we were tired, the places energy and vibe got us pumped, and our nightcap turned into longer stay with extra drinks.I had the aged negroni, which was presented in a tilted sniffter glass. Although it was more sweet than smokey (mainly due to a heavier dose of camparithe drink was enjoyable. I followed it with a white extra-bitter negroni (recommended by the waitresswhich I enjoyed.My wife took the tiki head tropical drink, and a creamy drink recommended by our waitress. She enjoyed both.

I find this bar very elegant and same time very cozy. You would find very good champagne card, friendly staff and with atmosphere of old NY bar.This place is not common to typical Prague bars.

I came here on a late Friday evening and had the best margaritas Ive ever had in my life! The quality of service that our bartender Tomáš delivered was absolutely stunning! There is nothing bad I can tell about the place.If youre looking for some quality cocktails, tasty bar snacks, and chilled ambiance, this is the place! Must visit again!

Very nice club with super cocktails. Get a seat with a view at the bar. The cocktails are not only tasty, but it is also fascinating to watch how they are prepared. Relax, look, listen, enjoy!

Great cocktails , the service is amazing even at 1AM on a tuesday morning.The atmosphere is chill and remind us America (you can even smell a popcorn flavour in the air). The Barman takes care of his clients and their expectorations.Cheers!

I loved Bugsys. Only came across it by chance and what a treat it was. The fruit in the urinals was something else haha

First bar I found in Prague with real cocktails. The place is nicely decorated and the atmosphere is great. Large variety of drinks and even cigars on the menu. Waiters are helpful

Arguably the best cocktail place in town. Cozy, stylish interior, star location, overwhelmingly wide selection, and barmen who have manners and love their job. The most fun spot is a seat at the bar where you can interact directly with a barman and watch them mix drinks right in front of you - usually a spectacle thats truly worthwhile.

The interior is pretty nice. People in there seem to be a bit higher class. Like suits everywhere. But as casual dressed as possible we got a table nonetheless. Prices are maybe a bit high for the Czech Republic, but it was fair. Service was okay too. I really liked their own produced gin. Bugsys DNA Gin. You should try it if you like gin!

An awesome cocktail bar to have some amazing drinks. Bar tenders friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to drink. Definitely a must go while in Prague

Awesome bar reminds me of a modern speakeasy. The bar staff are phenomenal. Any drink you can dream of they can make. The canapes are delicious. Also has one of the best champagne lists Ive ever seen. If youre in the area you must stop in here for at least one amazing cocktail.

I can’t say enough good things about this bar. They’ve perfected all the classics, but you must try some of their own creations. Order the almond cigar and a painkiller. Atmosphere is a 10/10. Fancier but not obnoxious.

Fantastic little bar. The decor was nice and clean with a dark atmosphere. The cocktails were unique but at the same time not over the top. They also make supreme traditional cocktails. The bartender performed his arts with remarkable dexterity and fervour for expanding the horizons of our tastes.

Very classy bar with delicious drinks and cigars on offer. Yes a bit pricey, but still worth a visit.

Amazingly unique collection of cocktails, professional staff. Highly recommend their own DNA gin. Had a great time, thanks to Claudias service and advice, the bartenders and the DJs. Quite affordable too at around €6 for a cocktail

My favorite cocktail bar in Prague. Although a bit on the pricier side, it is totally worth it. The service is great, the cocktails as well. The menu in itself is like a masterpiece - like a comics book :).Do visit it and make sure to book a table, as it might be crowded!

Had the best Old Fashioned here. Prices are very good for the higher quality (ca. 6 € for a cocktail). Location is underground and very nice posh interior. Definitely worth a visit if youre in Prague and looking for good cocktails.

Absolutely impeccable. We walked in and were showed to a table and presented with the most elaborate, awesomely illustrated cocktail menu I have ever witnessed. Later we decided to have a seat at the bar, and got to talking with the bartender who tendered to our every concern and was happy to make drinks by request - as should any well-stocked bar in this level of service. The night ended with a pleasant surprise as we were presented with a very reasonable bill (pretty much half of Norwegian priceand they also called us a proper taxi in the end. Simply a great experience! Would recommend it to anyone.
