Worst BWW’s I have experienced. I made the order half an hour prior and still waited an extra 45-50 minutes at the establishment for my order. The place was not busy, only the bar and the high tops were occupied. The main dining area was empty. I asked to speak to the manager and he/she never came out. The worst part of all, this is the service they give to our heroes from the Army base close from here. Sad, I wish I could give this place zero starts.
Ive lived in this area for over 20 years now and I can count on my hand the number of good service Ive had here.Between the inattentive wait staff and the absolutely sluggish back of the house I never have a quick, easy visit regardless of party number, timing, or staffing.I put in an order before 4:30pm for a pick up, got there by 5:00pm and still had to wait until 5:20pm to get said order.The only redeeming factor is the fact that this particular visit the front of the house was clearly distraught by the kitchens lack of efficiency and effort.

This place has inspired me never to eat at another BWWs again. Service was terrible food was cold and over cooked. Drinks sat empty through most of the meal.
What a nightmare is the truth. Waited over 30 min to be seated in a empty restaurant. Decided to leave. Being almost the only people in the building you would have thought they would have wanted the buisness. Well, never again at this location.

Perennially understaffed. The bartenders and servers there are excellent, but seem to be competing with managers who hire barely enough staff. PAY YOUR PEOPLE. Food is great, with lots of options

This place is so hit or miss! Ive had five star experiences but Ive also had zero star experiences! This last experience was the absolute worst! Ill start out by saying my waitress was fantastic and by no means was it her fault! We sat down and ordered and it was over an hour before half of the orders arrived and I was told the rest would be out shortly. Im waiting and waiting and the three meals are already eaten and the rest of the food still hasnt shown up. I finally see my waitress and ask her whats going on? She assured me the rest will be out shortly. About 15 minutes later, still no food (by this time weve been there almost 2 hours). The kids are getting very anxious to leave and hungry for the ones who didnt eat. I decided to just leave and eat somewhere else. I looked all around for my waitress and she was in the back cooking my order. Which I think is absolutely ridiculous! That is by no means her job, the cooks should absolutely be on top of their jobs better!
I do not recommend this Buffalo Wild Wings…Customer Service at this location is horrible. I waited more than 1 hour and 30 minutes to get my food. When inquired about why it was taking so long, the staff was rude and not helpful at all. They did not even know how much longer it would take to get food ready!
Dont ever come here waited 50 min for a drink not even offered a water seen appetizers at 55min and it was chips salsa not busy at all like 30 ppl here, here on work trip by far the worst bdubs ever they dont even know what mic ultra looks like and if you order a blend double whiskey you get 2 glasses o dont long Island it never comes
Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! I would never recommend this place to anyone. Im sure maybe somewhere other than COLONIAL HEIGHTS might be better. But I can assure you this Buffalo Wild Wings is the WORST. everything we went to order, they managed not to have. I read the menu clearly and chose Coffee as my drink, only to be told they dont sell coffee here... They dont have buns, so they cant make burgers. They dont have this so they cant do that. Please do yourself a favor and dont waste your time here!!!!! I would also like to add that I honestly feel bad for the waitresses who obviously have a terrible manager and is screwing over all of their employees!
I had the worst experience ever at a restaurant this evening at this location. The server took our order at 7:05 p.m. and we still had not received our food at 8:00 p.m. She failed to keep us abreast of how long the food would take. She comes to our table at 7:45 p.m. and tells us that there is a problem with the printer and she needs to take our order all over again. This was completely unacceptable. She failed to use common sense and check with the kitchen staff to see how much longer it would be for her table to receive the order she placed almost an hour ago. This server showed no remorse at all for her incompetence and her lack of professionalism. When I asked to speak to a manager, the manager was unapologetic and neglected to offer any discount, compensation, etc. She also said we would have to wait additional time to receive our food because they were working on wing orders. UNACCEPTABLE! The restaurant was not busy at all; however, you cannot teach people how to be courteous and respect peoples time. They need to hire people who actually know the definition of customer service. This server also tried to avoid us when the manager came to speak to us at the table. Clearly, she has a lot to learn and this establishment does at well. The manager and her staff need to be reprimanded and this place needs to shutdown immediately!
This place is a nightmare. If you enjoy waiting 30+ minutes for your food then this is the place for you! Oh and make sure you never call in your order unless you’d like to pay $1 extra JUST FOR CALLING IN! My go to burger was the most bland tasting burger I have ever had. Avoid at all costs.Edit: If I could give negative stars I would! My granddaughter came here along the way home for the sole purpose of discounted chicken and once again she left angry with a horrible experience. You’d think ordering boneless wings, traditional wings, and fries would be an extremely simple order. Well these geniuses at this location ruined that too. She should have checked our food before driving all the way home but that is her lesson learned. We received boneless wings of the wrong flavor and cold fries. What about the traditional wings? What about the correct sauce on the boneless? What about fresh fries? That’s too much to ask for from this location. By the time she made it home and realized the order was in shambles I called and requested the manager and I was left on hold 30+ minutes and my granddaughter was able to drive up to this location and show the manager that I was on hold waiting to speak to him. He seemed miffed when she showed him that I was on hold this long. When she brought up the first concern he told her “that is above my pay grade”. Thank you for caring about your customers. When she explained that our entire order was wrong he didn’t want to give her the corrected boneless wings because she received boneless wings earlier. She had to remind him that they were not the flavor we ordered. There was no compensation what so ever for her time, gas, and frustration, she was just given the order that was too hard to give her the first time. Pictured below is what we originally ordered. This is a simple order that was some how destroyed at this location.
Poor service, very Rude employees, and dont miss they are all Im your business too. I went for a nice dinner with my husband try to fix some mental health issues and the waitress choose to get in our business by making comments
Customer service is not a priority here, maybe its due to staffing issues...not sure. I been here 5 times becuase the food is not bad when it finally arrives but always waited way longer then I wanted for food and drinks, when there was only 5 other tables occupied. BWW is one of my favorite places to go for a great atmosphere and to enjoy watching sports....just not this one. This place needs to rebuild starting with management. This place could be so much better, its a shame really.
No biggie if youre busy, but when you are obviously not busy and the hostess tells you your waitress is wiping your table down and would be right with you, then proceeds to go to the back and say they told us to wait and then the waitress then says ugh oh my god no I dont want anymore theyll wait. It was rude and uncomfortable to be within ear shot of hearing this. It looked like there was only two people actually working and everyone else just hanging out in the back. This wasnt cool. We wont be coming back.
worst experience was seated at a dirty table waited an hour for a burger mac and cheese and a salad food was cold asked for a manager had to wait 10 minutes for them because they were cooking and then they said the real manager doesnt work until Monday afternoon worst place to go. Definitely never spending my money there again
If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered a chicken tender box with and extra side of fries. It took an hour and 45 minutes to arrive and when it got here the chicken was cold and undercooked (pink in the middleand I didn’t receive French fries I received wedges.

Tables were not available at lunchtime in dining area as I guess there werent enough servers. We were offered a no wait table in bar area and accepted it. Bar tender waited on us and was friendly and fast. My only complaint was that my 6 traditional wings were covered in buckets of sauce. Maybe there was an accident. Other than that, food and service were great!
First and Last time here.We were 11 inside de restaurant,had to wait 45 min. for 10 boneless wings and Mac & cheese.And when i receive my order(after 45 min.NO Mac & cheese !Ive asked How come it took 45 min. to tell me you were out ofmac & cheese, the answer was:Sorry...Never Again !
My husband took our two sons to Buffalo Wild Wings in CH today (for Fathers Dayand, though the lobby was completely open, (there was one other familythey refused to seat them saying they only had one server and if he wanted to wait it would be half an hour. My husband was not happy about this and my sons were very sad.
We were told a 30 minute wait, however the restaurant itself was empty and they were only using the area around the bar. The HOST African American lady along with another African American lady seem to be irritated every time someone walked in the door. They pretty much just leave you waiting to see how long would it take for you to get up and leave. Also the Cook… Caucasian female repeatedly came in and out the kitchen, no gloves… nothing on her hair. We were disgusted and definitely knew that was out que to get the hell on. I’m just shocked to read other comments and see that this has been going on for several months. I guess the General Manager does not care at all as there seem to be no changes from one of the comments 8 months ago. Will not return at all.
It’s sad when you have a full lobby full of people and they just stare at you and walk away. They won’t even come from the back to reinsure that they are making the food or it will be ready. I’ve been waiting over and hour for my food not that it’s a problem to wait for hot food but the lack of sympathy to the people is the lobby is crazy. PROPS TO THE BLONDE SERVER GIRL FOR APOLOGIZING AND MAKING SURE SOMEONE COULD JUST ORDER FOOD, THATS NOT HER JOB!
Ordered food through Doordash did not get my dessert because BW was out of it so they sent nothing wings were dry and old. I took them back and still got old wings when I complained was told by Manager Nicole to call Doordash. Why they delivered my food early! You guys kept giving old food.
From 2 years ago...40 minutes, and still waiting for our food. Good thing we came in early to avoid the rush!!!May 2022. Worse than ever! Not a server available. Saw some, all in the kitchen, or just avoiding work.
We’ve been to this one a few times and have always had a bad experience, but today was the breaking point for us. Absolutely horrible customer service, especially the take-out. No one ever at the front to speak to anyone, it’s always missing items, and they’re never on time with it. Today, they “lost” our order and the guy’s in front of us. Had to “put them back in” and we had to wait an additional 25 minutes. It was an online order, it really shouldn’t be this complicated. The one on Jefferson Davis HWY is much better, in case you’re looking for good food AND good service.
People came in after us and we’re seated before us. 1.5 hrs to get food- we were told doordash orders were taking priority. We weren’t given any silverware, napkins, or refills on our drinks.
Adora was our waitress and did such an amazing job that we had to tell her DM Matt!! You can tell they’ve made some changes in management and servers. Will def be back. Thank you!!
So I used to work for them a long time ago. I havent been in there since I left, 14yrs ago. So my wife and I decided to go for lunch. I ordered the large cauliflower bites with 2 sauces and the large potato wedge, and my wife got the small cauliflower bite with 2 sauces and a small potato wedge. It wasnt busy at all, pretty dead. So when the food came out, everything was flipped. My wife had the large portions and I the small. So when I sent it mine back to be fixed, all they did was slide over the ones that were on there to begin with, and just added the other ones to the dish. Then they brought them back out to me. I spoke to the manager about the situation, and the only thing he offered was a 10% off my meal. Needless to say, I wont be going back.
Oh boy. 15 minutes after seating to take drink order. 30 minutes more for drinks to arrive. Server (Tanasjaaccording to the bill, shuffled around the area for an hour before asking us if we wanted anything else (1.5 hours in), so we could FINALLY place our food order. Second round of drinks took another 20 minutes while we saw them sit at the bar. Food finally comes out, of course cold. When we tell the waitress the food is cold, she turns and loudly tells the bartender she wants to go home. Complain to the manager who offers to reheat the food and give us a discount, which we don’t get. Wings are wrong sauce. Manager comes over, slurring her words, saying “I need prayers tonight, will you pray for me?” And starts asking if I believe in god. Trash employees, likely drunk manager. Absolute garbage service. would have been happier digging through the dumpster. Waitress should be unemployed.
Restaurant told us it would be a 20-30 minute wait to seat 8 of us, and we couldnt go to the bar area. We ended up being seated fairly quickly in the bar area where there was plenty of seating. Assuming it was due to being short staffed as it took quite a while for drink to come, over 20 minutes and they were at counter for over 10. Also, the floors in the entire restaurant felt weird to walk on. Giving three stars as the staff that was there did a good job at getting us quickly seated and coming back to take follow-on orders.
Save your time and go to Mission BBQ. Server never acknowledged I was there after I was at the table for 20 minutes. Tried to place order through bartender and was told server had to take the order. Asked the manager if they could take my order and was told the same. Went back because I was with a group and pretty much treated the same. They need to cut the space in half or double the staff.Ive read a few of the replies and see its common for a cut paste response from an owner that says go to our website, well make it right. Its not genuine if nothing ever really changes.Do something about that location instead of just taking peoples money in exchange for a poor experience. Because I would rather not complain and I dont like the idea of complaining for free food, etc. The people working there seemed so unhappy to be there. The owner should go there and work on that.
This is the worst Buffalo wild wings I’ve been to. We sat in the bar area assuming it would be quicker. We sat for 15 minutes and no waitress would look our way. Manager standing there looking around not doing a thing. I wish there was a 0 star option for this mockery of a location
Online ordering and pickup was seamless and we picked up at the time we were told to. Quality of the food was extremely poor. Every traditional wing we ordered was extremely dry like it was microwaved or under a heat lamp for an hour. Their was also very little rub on the wings, so they were even more dry and lacking flavor. We also had several partial wing pieces which they counted as a whole.
I attempted to have dinner here with my husband. They didnt walk us to a table, they walked us towards the back and pointed across the room told us to sit at a table where drinks were placed. We sat ourselves at the only table in that area that had no one. The table was sticky. The waiter asked us what we wanted to drink; the only menu we were able to look at was the one stuck to the table. We got up and left.

We were sat down immediately. However, it took 30 minutes for our appetizers and drinks to come to the table. Next, it took 20 min after we finished our first drinks to get refills. It didnt seem to be our servers or the cooks incompetence, only that they are extremely short staffed for the number of table they are allowing per server. Other than longer wait times, the food was excellent and they were able to add grenadine and 2 cherries to my Dr. Pepper. Keep up the great work to the few workers here at Bdubs!
Waitress was good, food came out at different times, took 45 minutes to get the first wave of food. Tots were cold, 30 more minutes to get the wings & they were over cooked & not covered completely in Buffalo sauce. If I had wanted my tots as an appetizer I would have ordered them as an appetizer. Ran out of unsweet tea. We got there at 8:30 & they close at 10 & we got our final part of our meal at 9:45. From 8:30 on there were only 4 tables with people in the whole restaurant so it was not a busy issue. Had to seat myself after 3 workers walked by me & never said a word. I usually dont complain but this was ridiculous.
Well, its not bad eating there and I will say that but their takeout is not that good. My order was only missing a 10 piece and thats all that I needed to have put in there. I told them and they wanted to see my order (I guess to make sure that I wasnt lying). They did put the 10 piece in there but...lol...they took out my friend pickles and didnt put that back in. So, I was out of that and the price for that. Have someone check orders before they leave and this would alleviate a lot of confusing...and mad customers.
The wings were done perfectly. Im pretty sure theyre just having a staffing issue right now because they had half of the dining room shut down. The place is starting to show its age needs to be redone but at least the food is still good.
They told me to wait 30 minutes to be seated with no one seated I saw but a few people at the bar who walked in after me and went straight to the bar. This is my second attempt to eat here this place is the worst. How can you run a business like this is embarrassing and so unprofessional. They deserve no stars in my opinion. The manager we ask for never came out to talk to us. SAD PLACE!!!
If I could leave no stars I would first they said I didn’t place an order online I had to show them where I did. I order grilled chicken wraps, I get home I had grilled chicken breast cut in half that were not cooked thoroughly. Tried calling as this could make someone very sick no one answered the phone. This is not the first time I have had a disappointing visit at this location I will not be returning.
I went there with my boyfriend and they said it would be a wait but we didn’t have to wait. It’s a Friday so it was busy but they got us right in. Our waitress Ariyanna was super nice with her trainee. They helped us with ordering since we don’t go there often. Food was great and service was good even though it was busy. Give them the benefit of the doubt it’s during a virus and low staff, they did good !
I gave them 5 stars 1 year ago. What a difference a year makes. Last week I came in , no host . Found a table at bar area , dining room closed. Wait staff fighting over tables , apparently no assigned tables , first come first served. Today went in at 3 p.m. host tells me not seating anyone at this time , 1 waitress is not taking anymore tables. Only 3 tables in bar area occupied, the rest were open . Told there would be a 15-20 minute wait . Are you kidding me! This one is actually worse that the Chester location , and that takes real drive and determination!
Only 2 stars bc the staff is super pleasant.First time I ordered, they forgot the Buffalo sauce on the wrap. This time, they forgot the ranch on the entire thing and one half of the wrap only contained lettuce, an ungodly amount of shredded cheese, and sauce.
So I decided to order BW3 for game day Saturday. They delivered everything I ask for, the food was and tasted amazing. They made sure I had all the utensils I needed as well as any special sides I requested. I would definitely be ordered from this location again, thank you all for a wonderful experience and completed my Football Saturday!!!
They have a no high chairs at booths rule, which I have never come across before. The wigs could have used a bit more sauce and we were not offered carrots and celery. I liked the metal serving trays better than the to go containers you get at other buffalo wild wings.
A great way to end a week a Buffalo Wild Wings here in Colonial Heights...wrong! My party of around 12 came in to watch a basketball game during the playoffs, however the only shows that could be played was a sitcom, and soccer game. The managers could not change the shows what so ever. We ordered our food, and received it about an hour an a half later. I was transparently un-satisfied with our food, however the waiter service was decent. I received my side of fries that tasted like a pound of Murray’s season-salt. The medium spicy wings and mango haberno wings have way to very undercooked taste. I guess having a party our size put a lot of pressure on the cooks that night but still overall my party felt the exact same way. Make this place a last minute decision if possible.
