Buffalo Wild Wings in Cedar Rapids

I haven’t been to a wild wings in a long time but I was very surprised. It was very good and I had great service! Definitely will be coming back!

Ordered the buffalo pizza, should have read the menu closer, came with jalapeno on it, just picked them off. Menu said medium buffalo sauce but seemed a little hotter than that. I would order it again and try to remember no jalapenos. Wife had a chicken sandwich and seemed to be enjoying it.

TERRIBLE. DISAPPOINTED. I sat at the bar for about 15 minutes and there was only 1 other patron at the other end. Nobody else in the restaurant besides at least 6 employees out front. Not one of them helped me. I left and told them I was disappointed. Best part is the bartender cashed out the guy at the end of the bar looked at me grabbed her phone and went around the corner. When I walked to the end of the bar, and got to the corner she leaned out to look at me and was still holding her phone in hand and looked me. I told her "terrible lack of service ". I walked out.

Tried chicken wings boneless and with bone, vegie mogarila, fries, everything tasted awesome, tried hot sauces as well ,

Sat for a hour waiting for the food, they shut off the fryer..so we didnt end up getting the order. Not a place Ill be back to

Seems accuracy is a little questionable here on a slow night I ordered 20 boneless with mango habenero and a house platter but ended up getting 20 bone in no sauce and a burger and fries.

Once again, this BWs shines. The food is good as expected, but the service is excellent. Each server that I has made me feel welcome and provides outstanding service. Thank you.

Went in around 4:00 today 9/3/22, walked in and the young ladies asked if it was going to eat in or take out, asked if I could sit at the bar, showed me the way. The two people (guy&girllooked and made eye contact with me as I was sitting down. Didnt acknowledge or even greet me. They walked away from the bar. I watched a whole segment of the Nebraska football game and commercials, still nobody came to ask me if I needed anything. I got up and started to walk out and a guy asked me if I needed anything I said no I dont need anything now! Looked over as I was walking out and the girl that was behind the bar said "I didnt see him" umm Im 64 320lbs and made eye contact when she was behind the bar, she might need her eyes checked.PS. The bar top was nasty, and JimmyJohns across the street was awesome

Server did excellent. She had a lot tables and kept up.

Middle of afternoon.Walked in and sat ourselves.15 minutes later staff who had been watching us came to wait in us. Food was so fast that i assume it was not fresh cooked.Boneless have loads of breading

I am a regular at BBW and I am sad to say that today was probably my last time ordering from them. I am giving this review 2 stars because its not the staffs fault. If it wasnt for them it would be a 1 star. I have gone along with the price hikes and the bogo half off from the good old bogo free days but today took the cake. I order 20 wings traditional and the size of these flats were literally the same or smaller than my pinky. I called and they said sorry the distribution has been spotty and thats it. I understand but some reassurance of quality control should be the precedence. The quality has dropped so drastically that I will no longer return or waste my money.

Cooked my wings exactly like I requested. Waiter was great!

Normally we have an amazing experience. Lesson of the day: dont go after 10pm. Took over 10 minutes to get greeted at the bar. No bartender in sight. Wont be back for a while.

Staff was super nice and didnt have to wait very long for a seat

We came in as a larger group after a baseball game, we sat at two tables. Boys table and adults table.The attitude started when someone in our party wanted to order food right away. This was not allowed because it was only time to order drinks.Excuse me? I am paying you. If Someone wants to order food ASAP because of a medical condition and they literally feel their blood sugar plummeting, you do not tell them no.The two waitresses we had so freaking rude. My son asked for Ranch, she said No, and walks away.Then comes back with ranch. WTH?I’m not sure if they think being an absolute Richard is funny or if they’re trying to make it their thing, but the attitude and food was absolutely the worst I’ve dealt with.Maybe they think because they is a work force shortage they can be rude. Maybe they think it’s okay to serve someone cold food, or be out of food and not tell the person ordering until 40 minutes later.No wonder the place was empty. The food and service was horrible.

Terrible service. I mean really really bad service. Left truly disappointed, spent over an hour at the table didnt even want to eat anymore!!!

Its a grand environment for a great family experience. I enjoyed the food, it was decent meal.

Better service and food. Table wasnt cleaned before we sat. Server very nice. He actually added my points for me. First time for that. All restaurants need to do away with towels. For cleaning tables. Spreads germs. Unless there using a clean towel everytime. (Which I doubt). They also need to strip there floor. Liability, extremely slippery. There was a female sitting at a table. Hanging out. Not sure if she was a girlfriend of an employee or an employee hanging out. A table that could have been used for customers. Seems like every time I go in there. Theres someone sitting at that one table hanging out??

Visited at noon on a Tuesday. Seated immediately. Drink orders taken and served promptly. I asked about the Tuesday special, my server was knowledgeable. Order served promptly , everything warm and correct. The only reason I rated them at a 4 was that I would have liked more sauce on the wings. I ordered sweet bbq, my son got the lemon pepper rub. Potato wedges were warm, the ranch dip excellent. We got a pretzel bite appetizer that was very good. Our total, appetizer, 20 wings and a large potato wedge, 2 sodas, was about 32 dollars. Our server was great, kept our glasses full. The music was right up my alley, blues and classic rock. Tuesday special is the buy one get one half off on bone in wings. We left stuffed!

Quality has gone down a lot. Its a door dashers or delivery persons nightmare they tell you 10 minutes every 5 minutes then after 20 -30 minutes pass theyll have the nerve to say that your order was in the wrong spot the whole time and sorry for the wait, what a joke that place is no one cares. If its not on the shelf when you arrive wait tops five more minutes and unassign.not worth it!!

Great place, everything lines up perfectly, except the lady cleaning the foot rests of the chairsShe’s the most annoying person pushing chairs around for the whole eveningProbably only happens once a week.Besides that bartender has an attitude but takes care of you.Kitchen does an awesome job.

Good spot for drinks. Always love the big tvs for major sporting events. Had a better old fashioned here than at the fancy Italian restaurant for supper.

Dont go there !! My glass of soda watching the Nfl champion game. No person took away .. Garbage on the grease floor weeks old .. Snot spit on every wall Bartender has Hickeys. Took 90 minutes to get a go order. 5 employees doing nothing. Then bartenders complain they had to go bag my food after 90 minutes. The tab had a 15. 20. % tip recommendations. Never go there again. Gross as hell

Faimly had a great time. Food drinks and service was amazing. Love Buffalo wild wings but from 2005 to know the prices are high. In their defense no one else gives you what they do!

Great wings with a good amount of kick, however the waitress took too long between checking in on us, leaving us with empty drinks and without a bill for a while. 4/5 stars

Plenty of servers yet we wait 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. Not all of our food was brought at the same time. Waitress never came back except to collect money

Got wings which went fine but the waiter was not ever over at our table, waited 15mins for drink, forever to get the bill and a refill and to top it off the mac and cheese for kids had no taste whatsoever. Thought they had really redeemed them shelfs but I guess I was wrong.

Terrible service .... Or should I say no service. Was seated, And then 15 minutes later, When no one had came to the table we decided to leave. I wouldnt even suggest trying their food.. It was 10 p.m on a Thursday night and they were very slow. Also poor management called and told them and didnt offer anything. But "have a good night." Worst BWW ever... DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!

Dont eat here! Pls dont. Decided to give them a try despite the reviews. Ordered on door dash,.took an hour and a half. I ordered 20 bone in and 20 bone out. With 3 different sauces and 10 with no sauce for my mom so she can eat those. But long all behold they all had sauce and she couldnt eat the wings because sauce and spicy stuff make her sick. The boneless wings were hard and old and nasty. Absolutely disgusting. The fries were severely cold, old and hard and tasteless. They gave me barely any ranch. I got my money back and 20 dollars in doordash credit. If it was anything less id be highly upset! Dont order from doordash, dont order at all!

Wings an All American cheeseburger were ordered. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. Our waitress Skylar was terrific. Will definitely go back, highly recommend

Not very happy with our experience, the manager was rude and told my sister and her husband they could not join our table and that there would be a table sat before them.I finally got the beer I ordered when we were almost done with our meal. We had a bad experience a couple months ago with a 2 hour wait for our food and decided to give them another chance. Very disappointed.

We have found that dinning in is better than take out. When dinning in, food is always good and our order is correct. Take out, our order is always wrong and items are forgotten. BBW has always made it right tho when we notify them.

Dirty tables everywhere. Slow moving staff. Waited 30 minutes for a table while the 2 hostesss watched TV and all the servers had to clean their own tables. Drinks took forever to come out and waitress charged us for the wrong food. Last time we will be going there, management needs to run the house better.

Horrible customer service at front. I was there for a pick-up n there was no hi or thank you when I left. Finally getting my food they just put it on counter and they said nothing. The food was sub par and fries were very skimpy. This happened 3 times in a row. Thats the last time I will go there....

Every time I have gone in they are super friendly, I will say earlier in the day they are not as quick to greeting but overall thats the only thing that I would have to say that bothered me. The gentleman waiting today is a sweetheart and want to say thank you for making me smile today was having a rough day and your compliment of "Earth angel" made melt day so much brighter!!!

We had a newer waitress (according to herso I will say that my review is not a direct reflection of her (although some of it was primarily herits a reflection of the restaurant and how it is managed. I will say one thing I liked about our waitress as I used to be one was that she gave enough time between getting our drinking appetizer order before getting her food order that way we had time to eat our appetizer without having our meal come on top of it and that was a big plus its very rare to see that, she was pretty busy but she was very attentive. As far as whether or not the kitchen staff is to blame for the next part is I got a dipping sauce for one of my pretzel knots and it had a film on top of it like it had been sitting out for a while, and the ranch tasted way off not sure if it was bad or had too much sour cream or what but I told the waitress because with my wings and with my daughters salad we ordered like five or six ranch cups, and while doing this review I just realized that my salad was not refunded on the bill so the bill was a little bit difficult but other than that the wings were great, which if not I guess they would go outta business LOL but their french fries are tiny skinny and they do not serve a whole lot considering that you pay $3.49 for a side order of fries.

We placed our order online (B-Dubs online ordering always feels clunky, not smooth at all), the food was ready in time indicated and the staff were all super helpful and courteous. Also, it was Thursday so we had BOGO boneless wings which is always a bonus!!

This place was absolute garbage - avoid at all costs. My boyfriend and I spent $22 on quite possibly the worst Bdubs weve ever eaten. The wings were barely warm and were also quite rubbery. There was barely enough sauce to cover them, even though we requested extra sauce. The fries on the side were absolutely inedible (cold, hard, and barely seasonedand went straight into the garbage. My boyfriend remarked they were the worst fries hed ever eaten. When we picked up the order, it had not been checked for quality, and the box of wings was smeared with a different sauce than we ordered. Sloppy service, anyone? Went to Wendys the next day was for chicken nuggets and they were easily ten times better than the wings at this place. Take my advice and dont waste your money.

We were a party of 4 during a slower time. After waiting for quite a long time 3 of the meals were brought out. Not as much sauce as usual. The 4th meal didnt show up for at least 25 minutes AFTER everyone elses meals. Server never came over to quality check. Since the rest of the people were over half done with their meals, I found the manager to see if my order was forgotten. He asked who the server was (that was my only interaction with him). I pointed him out and the server decided to loudly say that no food sits in the window. I get that, but a over 20 minute difference for food ordered together? I saw at least 4 tables food go out that came in AFTER me. When I finally received my meal, it had obviously been microwaved. The outer part was tough, rubbery, dry, and way over cooked. No one even apologized for the delay or anything. No one came back to quality check, and no one refilled sodas, until we flagged down the server. I have over 20 years experience in the restraunt industry. From back of house to front of house, to management.... Expeditors need to expedite, Cooks need to finish a table before starting the next, servers need to quality check, and managers need to make sure things are ok, ESPECIALLY after knowing of an issue.... and the first thing said should have been "sorry", not an "push off" to someone else, sn excuse and defence.I will not return. Our waiter was wonderful! The food was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The reward points are easy to use never disappoint. Sometimes there is a long wait for service, but the food is always consistently good. I wish I had caught his name, but he was the best waiter ever.

The only thing consistent about this location is that its always terrible. This use to be a fun place to hang out with great food! Not sure what happened in the past few years but now its awful. Our order on 3/30/21 (I was reluctant to place but we had a gift card so it wasnt going to be money out of pocket), and thank goodness. Zero dipping sauces, fries so burnt and hard we almost broke teeth, and the boneless wings were mush. Dont bother giving them a chance.

Food tasted fine, server was nice. However, my food came out 5 minutes ahead of my wifes food. Server didnt offer an apology, nor did they offer discount on bill, an extra beverage or dessert. I like BWWs, but was disappointed today. One time out of 10 is forgivable.

I ordered a wing platter with Honey BBQ and Medium sauce on the wings with blue cheese and ranch sides. The wings are all mixed together you cant tell them apart cause there is hardly any sauce on them and they forgot the ranch and blue cheese. I worked in the kitchen across town for a couple years and know what the wings should be like. This is laziness from the kitchen and the cashiers. You should get what you pay for.

With it not being crazy busy, the food could have been hotter when it finally arrived... but the taste was spot on. The wait staff just isnt what it used to be.Really liking the new pizza flavored wings.I think this location has done a really good job at spacing stuff out for COVID, but no one was really cleaning as well as they should have.

Ive never had a problem with taste of the sauces or undercooked chicken. Sadly, thats the best I can say.See attached photo. At least each of the wings was in contact with sauce, but it was a definite stretch for some of them. Maybe the trick is to order sauce on the side and add it yourself, at home? For $1/wing Id like think a bit more care would be taken. I guess not.

What a disaster. We ordered fries, wings and ranch for delivery. Everything was a nightmare from the moment we ordered our food. When we ordered online from the moment we pressed "send" to complete the order it was "confirmed" that our order was sent 15 minutes ago. This was impossible seeing as to how our order hadnt even been in for 15 secs. We called to confirm our order, when we asked approximately how long it would take to receive our order they drew blank had no answers for us, nothing.So an hour later our order arrives minus the fries. And they barely put any ranch in the containers, you could literally pour all three little containers of ranch into one without any spilling over. We had to call them back twice and they didnt make it right. Furthermore there was a piece of plastic in my chicken. We had already called twice we knew a third time would be like beating a dead horse.Was the half of the order they sent to us good? Except for the added ingredient of plastic added to my chicken it was great. As for the other half we paid for who knows?To be fair the supervisor made a failed attempt to make it right the first time but they couldnt make good on the offer so we simply had to go without in the end we were told our fries would be refunded in a week or so. Minus of coarse the sause we were cheated out of.

So if your into wings with very little sauce, this is the wing place for you. But if you’re like myself, and would prefer sauce covered wings, this Buffalo Wild Wings is not for you. How can one look at these and say, “Yes, I would eat those myself.” Come on l, Buffalo Wild Wings, you are better than this. This location needs some work, clearly. Maybe some retraining?

Take-out order. Half-size wings that tasted like theyve been sitting for a while, with minimum sauce. Definitely the worst BDubs experience Ive had yet. Disappointed.

Food was pretty good. TVs are everywhere to watch football, which is great. Maybe it was the big crowd today but the food took forever, so that was a bummer. A fun crowd here if you’re looking for a sports bar. Lots of fans!
