Grilled Argentinean meats, empanadas, sandwiches & salads with full bar in rustic, relaxed digs.
Great ribs. We went for the eat as much as you can ribs. Was great evening with friends.
Owner and staff generally are super friendly and helpful.Cooking quality is overall good, but varies a bit. The meats are usually quite good. Fajitas on the other hand, need some improvement.Raw materials (except meatare fine, but nothing extraordinary.Meat is good quality, ok. Again, you can also find similar quality at a butchers, although they say they bring in 100% Argentinian beef.Prices sting. 300g fillet steak 42 EUR. Ouch. Appetizers are also quite pricey for the offering. Its got a good selection of wines. For me its always an internal debate if I want to go there. On one hand I like the food, on the other hand, Im not sure I want to chuck 40-50 EUR per person for a slice of beef.
Food was OK, better than most touristic grill places in Amsterdam, but far from great. Service was somewhat slow towards the end of the evening
High quality food service. I would suggest the entraña as a good choice of meet.
Very nice place, good food. I really liked the grilled taste of “catch of the day” seabass. We will be back there more often😍
Really friendly Waiters, the food was really good and flavorish,
Very good quality meat and friendly service. I had the entraña and greek salad and it was in my stomach before I could take a picture.
Great steaks and great personel!
Helpful and friendly staff, and good food. I was there without a reservation on a busy night, and they still managed to find me a seat. I can recommend the empanadas, very tasty.
Amazing! Great steak, cozy ambiance and friendly staff.
Very good meat.. Good service..
Very atmospheric, feels authentic and cozy.Great meats, several really nice specialty cuts and also unlimited spare ribs!!!I love going there.
Nice an cozy place. Excellent service and great food
Decent staff and friendly owner, the spareribs were very nice.
Delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. Great place to celebrate our twins birthday. The boys especially liked the ribs..."As many as you like"
Gorgeous food, amazing staff. Literally just left the restaurant half an hour ago. Never felt the need to write a review so quick before. Unreal service from the staff. The best fajitas Ive ever had (Ive had a lot).
Fantastic steak, service needs a little attention. But overall a great place with a good atmosphere
Nice atmosphere, polite staff, very good food and not hard to find while walking in Amstelveen. Can recommend this restaurant if beef is a favourite.
Great place! Meat was super tender! Octopus was soft and tasty, even my 5 years old daughter who does not like seafood ate it.
Nice location, reasonable good good, price a a bit higher than expected. Service is not so good, the waiter/waitress were easily forget things. Our bottle water is served at the time when we almost finished our dinner. They even forgot to serve our ice cream.
Excellent restaurant. Very good service, good wine, very good starters, very good desserts, but the special thing of the restaurant is the meat. Some Argentinian meet cuts, cook perfectly, having as a result Excellent meet dishes, more than very good meet. For me, the ribeye is the best. Nice restaurant. The only negative point is the football tshirts they have in the wall 🙄. Very recommended!!!
Sitting on the terrace was great, service is good, waiters try their best. The food though is disappointing coming from an Argentinan restaurant. The fajita was not sizzling when served; it tasted good but because of tons of spices that also made is very salty. The steak was midiocre in taste; I asked for medium rare, got medium well. The wine collection is extremely limited and not impressive. The chicken was dry and stiff. I was there twice, and twice we got our main dishes cold because it seems that they prepare the starters and the mains at the same time. So my advise: dont order mains with the starters, or skip directly to the mains, you might get them warm!
Drove half an hour after some research online into steak restaurants in the area. NOT disappointed. Fantastic steak, quality juicy meat - very fair price for such a high standard of food. Friendly service. Top marks. Best steak I have eaten in a long time.
Everything we had, from the appetizers to the meat (especially the meat...to the dessert, was very tasty, well cooked and as it was supposed to be. The house wine is also to be recommended, considering that having a decent wine for a decent money in Amsterdam its not easy. Very good food for the mobey, nice blonde-haired service and a pleasant environment. Thumbs up! Well come back for sure.
Its a very good Argentinian stakehouse in Amstelveen. Especially we liked the service and food. Ordered spareribs and ribeye. The steak was just perfect medium-well. Spareribs were a little bit cold, but when we asked to warm it, the waitress apologized and they completely remade it. We were pleasantly surprised. Also they offer a free appetizer (bread with garlic sour cremetwo kinds of potatoes (fries or bakedand souce on your choice included in the steak price which is also nice.A choice of glass wine is pretty small, though. Only merlot and an Argentinian one, for which I forgot the name.We will be happy to visit again!
The place itself is nice, well and stylefully decorated. The food was ok, beautifully plated but didnt stick out for me. Though the meat was ok, I missed a strong and juicy grilled flavour that I have come to expect from an Argentinian restaurant. However what really costed Buenos Aires a point is the service. Though they started strong they totally forgot about us, a group of 4 people and quite visible. Though it was full house and they asked for our understanding at the start, they were quite understaffed and most of the time just did not look in our direction or bothered to check up on our table. It even became more comicle when all 4 of us tried to get their attention. We did make eye contact up to 3 times with different personnel, which they would acknowledge, but then completely forgot about. After half an hour or more of waving we managed to get in touch, but by then they had already lost 2 rounds of possible drinks and our interest. I dont want to sound condescending but if your restaurant is fully booked with large groups make sure you have enough personnel in the house to deal with them and dont forget about the smaller tables because they bring less money to the table or so it felt to us, for the bigger tables got all the attention. We were also not the only small table being forgotten.
Nice ambience, great food. A bit pricey but nice place to spend and evening
Delicious food, great service, very helpful stuff. Ask the owner to make a suggestion.. We will come back definitely.
First time at this restaurant and I had a good impression but before giving one more star Id like to try it again, choosing different food (meat). The meat I had was ok, perfectly cooked based on mine request. However, the taste wasnt particularly wow but probably because the type of meat I asked for.A good selection of wine, mainly Argentinian with some Chilean. The staff was gentle and attentive.
Amazing food. The service was a bit slow (3 course meal took 1.5 hours). Great location, great atmosphere.
One of best known places when it comes to Argentinian cousine. Variety of starters, meat specialities, and vegetarian food. And not to forget a plentiful of wine and alcoholic drinks. Definitely a place to visit and enjoy with friends, work, and family.
Amazing food service and wine good prices too
Lovely cozy restaurant with absolutely Amazing meats to be served.Great for pairs or groups of people that are looking to share big meals together.
We have been there totally unplanned, and have to admit that it’s a very pleasant surprise. Good food, great staff 👍
Great place with a lot of authentic plates. I had the Rib eye steak and the others had spear ribs. I suggest trying the starters as well, the gambas (shrimpsin garlic are good, the nachos and chips with guacamole are great.
Great service and great food! The steaks are perfect! Unfortunately the appetizers werent that great (maybe wrong choice?)
Delicious, cooked to perfection, steaks and most friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Best argentinian restaurant ever!!!
Good food. great service
Tasty Argentinian restaurant. Especially good meat! Would definitely recommend to go here.
Good food, good service...
We decided to go here because it had the highest rating in the area and despite my boyfriend being vegan and myself being vegetarian, there wasn’t an obvious alternative nearby, and we checked the menu and there were a few vegetarian options so we thought it would be absolutely fine. When we let the waiter (maybe the ownerknow, he just looked at us blankly and said ‘It’s not really ok, this is a steakhouse’, and wouldn’t help us. I was really shocked and he sent another waitress to look after us. She was a little more sympathetic and talked us through what we could have. We had the veggie fajitas (not really sure they are made with steamed carrots in South Americaand lots of sides, but it was such a hassle it was pretty embarrassing. When we asked for olives they came with a side of meat. It was like going back in time 20 years to a time when it was really unusual to be vegetarian/vegan. Such a shame because everyone else was having a great time, but there was no need to be so rude to us.
Not just an Argentina steakhouse. Amazing. They offer the best quality Entrecôte and Rib Eye, which is perfectly aged but juicy. The balance of ageing and fat was perfect.
Very good meat, nice service. I bit slow on filling the drinks but the very good food and presentation made up for it
Good quality restaurant with menu offering a variety of dishes incl. Argentian meat, fish and accompanying wines (for e.g. Malbec from Mendoza). Also, friendly knowledgeable staff and sometimes (especially during weekendslive music.
The ambiance was good but the food was okay-ish. Ive eaten at a lot of Argentinian restaurants but this was not good. Everthing came close to tasting authentic but never reached the goal. The food was fresh and nicely served.
Meat dishes are good, service of owner not. At 1 point he "ordered" us to move from our table, as he needed the space for a large group that was coming. We had to move our own glasses and plates to the other table, while he busied himself setting up the other table. Incredibly rude service and will not eat here again. Other waiting staff is friendly enough, but seem not very motivated.
One of the best Argentinean steak houses I have been too and trust me there are a few dodgy ones.Service was great, steak was great. Its a must to check out the specialsSome really fine cuts of Argentinean Angus. Garlic butter is out of this world.Make a reservation so as not to be disappointed.
Cozy, tasy food, nice and helpfull staff that speaks english, dutch and spanish. Good place to enjoy a friday evening. If its busy then is getting a bit to warm and I havent felt the air conditioning.
The food is still good, but the ambiance is not what it used to be. The lighting and the furniture feels cold. Before it had a much warmer feeling to it. They have tried to over engineer the dishes a bit. Quality and taste is still very good. Misses that rustic feeling that you would like to get from an Argentinian Restaurant.
