Buenasado Argentine Steakhouse - Walton-on-Thames in Goya

A top g came out and gave us drinks and heat for while we wait for our booking.What a guy 👌

A great night was had. Both elements you expect to make a good night were offered - good food and excellent service. The Walton manager gave exceptional service personally and his staff were also on point. Both the wine selections and the food were knowledgeably offered and didnt disappoint. I will definitely return and I recommend the Walton branch whole heartedly.

What can I say the food is so delicious, my first time in this restaurant and wow the starter got me straight away , then my main omg was so bloody tasty big up the chef the food was cooked perfection , 10 out of 10 brilliant atmosphere lovely clean and the staff are brilliant too will be definitely coming back 100%

Very good quality food: chorizo sausages and steak are incredible. I feel like some items on the menu could be improved like kids burgers as main meal didn’t have a single piece of veg except fries in them, and to order extras you need to use adults menu prices, there weren’t any starter included either. Also our waiter was not impressive - made quite a few mistakes. We initially came to use that “kids eat free” deal but we were told recently they removed it and also rises prices. I would come here again. Now I know what it is I can probably navigate better through the menu :)

Amazing staff, very lovely and helpful. The food was quite good as well, we have had better but it wasnt far off. The restaurant looks very nice inside & outside, toilets are very clean, car parking was close by and not expensive.

Steak was so tasty and soft . Great dining experience.

Dont bother!! Me my wife and our two boys (7 and 11went to this place to celebrate my birthday. The Manager is unfriendly and anti child! He originally turned us away saying they were full when clearly they where not! we only gained access to the Restaurant because my wife pleaded with the assistant manager and she let us in! We werent allowed to order our courses when we wanted! After our starters we had to wait 45min for our main and they said it was because we had ordered a 200g steak well done!! Give me a break! I believe the manager was upset that were allowed in to the restaurant and was now making us wait!! management is awful!! They are trying to be a high end west end restaurant but guess what? They are in a Walton shopping centre where they should expect families with children! Never going back with or without the boys who where by the way very well behaved!Will rather spend our money where the customer is valued not like this place

Not family friendly, turned away for having a child’s buggy, even offered to sit outside on table with plenty of space around it but refused entry. Get the feeling the think they’re a high-end steakhouse in the west end.

Had a great meal here last night 20 aug staff was brillant very attentive .would recommend .

The stakes quality was great, nice staffs. Charging for gratuity without permission is the downside!

Excellent food here, Ive only been a couple of times but fully intend on returning often. Exceptionally clean glasses & cutlery, always a good sign, staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of menu, which has all you would expect from a steakhouse, with good wine selection picked to accompany the dishes. Easily one of the best eateries in Walton and best steakhouse in wider area. Highly recommended.

As a pescatarian I rarely go to steak restaurants as they rarely cater for veggie or fish options and smell really meaty!! However after my visit to Buenasado last night I was shocked with all the fish and veggie options they had and the care they took to answer all our questions! Also it does not smell meaty in there at all! Our waiter Alejandro was so extremely attentive and was a pleasure to have met as was the barman - who’s name I cannot remember! (Sorry). Food and service was amazing - 5 stars all they way 🤗

Very impressive. It’s a 5 star spot. The first time I went was Sunday I had an expresso Martini and chicken salad at the table next to the bar; The supervisor and the bar man were super it wasn’t so busy. Yesterday I went for steak(ribeye/ancho), incredibly tender, ordered rare-medium was just perfect, grilled and shards on the out side and cooked to perfection. The triple cooked chunky chips and broccoli; wow. A coke to drink down with and for dessert their velvety expresso martini.This whole time I have been travelling to eat Argentinian steak in Richmond. Having lived the last 3 years in brazil and dined at the best Argentinian steakhouses in the world. This steak was authentic to the point that if I closed my eyes I would be in Argentina or south Brazil where steak is always satisfying. I am so happy that I discovered my little Argentina only 5 mins walk.You can tell that the values from the ownership to the people working day to day are respected and agreed on. Really and truly wonderful atmosphere.Thank you to the team, chef, barman and the host of the night. You really made me happy. I hope that your success continues and resonates. See you again soon. Would recommend to everyone.

Absolutely delicious! Juicy, flavour, cooked to perfection. Recommend fillet lomo steak with the Palvenco(?starter cheese and chimichuri sauce. Malbec red wine from Mendoza, Argentina. South America came to Walton. Thank you! So pleased with the food and the staff were 5*s too very attentive, knowledgable and proactive. Fabulous!

Steaks tender. Salads need improvement especially gloopy dressing. Acoustics are loud means difficult to hear. However if you are meat and chips person and dont mind not hearing anyone you be love it.

Great steaks as always at Buenasado. Great service from the manager and the person that met at us at the door. Our young waitress needs some more training and experience, which should develop over time. Found the chimmichurri a bit too herby and dry.

First time we have dined here. Liked decoration, lighting and music. Could have been better with more diners and a little more heating!We ate Gambas and Empanadas to start. Both good. Gambas looked rather pale but tasted good. Empanadas very good, had one beef and one ham and cheese also very good.For mains we had the 4 steak sampler - rump, sirloin, rib eye and fillet. Each was 170g to share so a lot of meat! Had to send the gristly rib eye back. Second one was ok. Chips were good too. The only moan was that it all got cold very quick as the ambient temperature was so low. Probably worth another visit when the weather is warmer!Update: 22 june 2022. Had a great meal with wife, daughter and her boyfriend. Celebrating the end of her Alevel exams. The food was great again, slightly marred by the ferocity of the aircon! What is remarkable though is the staff. Very attentive and ultra polite. Full marks!

Best steak ever. I chose the Rump. Cooked to perfection.Staff were first class and answered all questions regarding the food and wine.Restaurant was clean and tidy and very comfortable.

Classy, Beautiful interior gives a nice atmosphere. My steak was - as you would expect - succulent and delicious, even though I ordered it very well done. But what made the lunch extraordinary was the staff. Each person we interacted with was polite, respectful, efficient. They were all super-personable. Glad we managed to eat here. Anything that you order wont disappoint you!

We really enjoyed our mother’s day in Buenasado. The meat was very delicious and enough to make us happy at the time ne of the day. There’s a carpark opposite of the road where the old Homebase located.

Took some family that were in town here for dinner, and judging by all the good reviews here we must have had an off day. The staff were friendly and the service was good, but unfortunately all of our meals were very average given the higher prices; our meat was overdone and dry, and the desserts were all a bit tough and tasted like they’d been kept in the fridge for days. Doubtful that we’ll head here again anytime soon 😢

A lovely evening out. Great service. The best steaks we had in a long time. Everyone was happy with their steak. The fries and sweet potato fries were perfect....and we polished off the desserts too. 😋😋😋

The most delicious birthday dinner for my fiancé. The service was impeccable, we couldn’t make an immediate decision on wine and the waiter (Hermanocame to our table with 3 bottles of his recommendation and offered us a tasting of each- a beautiful touch. Perfect service from the entire team and the FOOD…The food was just fantastic, perfectly cooked, quality steaks. We went for the four steak sharing platter which we’d highly recommend. I honestly can’t fault a single thing. We also brought our children and they loved it too!

WOW, had the rib eye, easy to say the most tender and tastiest steak I’ve ever had. The service was so efficient, diligent and prompt. Will be visiting again without hesitation.Thank you for making my Boyfriends birthday a special one!

Really good steaks, cooked to perfection. Nice selection of sides as well. Would recommend that children go for the burgers as the pasta wasnt a hit with my kids who normally gobble that straight up!

Very and cozy restaurant. The Argentinian beef is super good and the staff is very friendly. Thought the burger wasn’t as per our expectations.

My visit was a huge disappointment. On the good side, the decor is nice and staff friendly and attentive. On the bad side, the food was significantly sub-par; think Pub having a steak night…but not priced that way. I had a 9oz sirloin, rare. It was lacking flavour and a bit chewy. Had it been previously frozen? My friend’s burger was a disgrace: burned within an inch of its life. It was so small and hard that they delivered it toppled over with a huge powdered bun which highlighted the insignificance of the meat. When we challenged it we were met with some very disappointing responses such as ‘I can’t make you eat it’, and ‘it’s gourmet because it has egg and bacon on it’. Neither refused to admit it looked terrible and inedible. Won’t be returning.

DELICIOUS!!! Would definitely come back. Cocktails were lush, steak was some of the best Ive ever had and the staff couldnt do enough for us.

We went to Buenasado Argentine Steakhouse to celebrate my sons 18th birthday. It was his choice actually. It was incredible! Amazing food beautifully served and fabulous staff 👏👏👏

I came, I got myself a chautaubriand based off other reviews and I was not disappointed. The smokey, juicy texture of my steak was phenomenal, and it pains me to return back up north as I dont know a steakhouse that can compare to Buenasado.10/10, definitely returning if Im in the area!

Went on recommendation from a colleague and I was not disappointed!We only had lunch but it was incredible and well be taking my in-laws when they visit in a few months. The food was perfect and service was impeccable! I look forward to returning.

Ate here last night and can’t speak highly enough of it. The steak was excellent, try the sampling platter, and starters and desert were a delight. The passion fruit and mango cheesecake is the lightest and most satisfying I’ve had in a long time. Above all, the manager and waiting staff were on point throughout; friendly, knowledgable and attentive.

Slight hipcup to start but the evening was perfect - the owner /manager was so professional and really made sure our evening was outstanding so we thank you for that - looking forward to spending an evening with you all again soonThank you for finishing off our evening with a Malbec 45 - which was divine

First time I tried this restaurant and I have to say that i am pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, quick service but most of all I was blown away with the food. I had the Spiral cut rib eye with was cooked to perfection according to my request. The seasoning was fantastic. The special salt they use finishes of the dish really well. Price wise for me .. I would say reasonable. When quality and service are good,then I dont mind paying extra. My sincere gratitude and compliments to the whole staff who made my visit worthwhile. I surely will be back soon.

The welcome was warm and guided to a table quickly. They gave us time and was great as we were here with a child, which was more than enough for a party of six.I had the aubergine escalope with goats cheese and the King Prawn tagliatelle. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. Hundred percent!

My first visit today which was with my wife and another couple. I booked on OpenTable, and was greeted very warmly on arrival. The waiter was very attentive and helpful, and explained the steak sharer that we were interested in. When the food arrived, it was all presented, and hot. The steaks were all of high quality, and very tasty. Generally, the restaurant had a nice feel, and was clean and tidy. The toilets were also very clean. Prices are mid range, and Ill definitely be back!

This is a wonderful restaurant to visit. Very nice decor. Food was amazing, steak excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful, they explained certain everything to us. My dessert was perfect. We will certainly be returning. You must try it.

We were there on Saturday night, service was poor and slow. I asked for a medium cooked steak but got rare, the meat hasn’t rest enough so my plate was full of blood after I cut the meat.Also on the side of the steak was the worse salad decoration!!Sorry but I won’t go again. It didn’t worth £17 steak. Need to improve a lot.
