It was nice to finally see one of Londons MAIN big Tourist Attractions. The gems, jewellery and artwork, were beautiful to see, while also little mixed emotions at all the wealth which could help so many. The Queen has served her country well and reached a great age, and may God continue to bless her.

Buckingham Palace is truly one of the most popular tourist destinations in London, and obviously for a very good reason. Its the official residence of the British monarchy (the queen), and its absolutely massive and beautify built. I was really impressed with how well-kept everything was and how organized everything is. The gardens are so beautiful, and theres so much history inside and outside the palace. The Changing of the Guard ceremony was so beautiful and thousands of people were outside watching the ceremony. I would definitely recommend a visit if youre in London, its a must see.

We just walked around the outside of the palace. It was okay. We got to see the changing of the guards and that was okay as well. I did enjoy seeing all the people gathered enjoying themselves and being in awe of the palace. I also enjoyed all the children laughing and being at play. The atmosphere is very nice here.

I liked it as this was my first ever visit.I have wanted to visit to say I have been there but not really something I have any interest in.But a great place to visit with lots to see around the area and some very big fish in the pond opposite. Its one of those places that is a must to visit.

Honestly the castle itself is a little underwhelming compared to other old grounds- however the gates, statue and the flower gardens were very beautiful and made it look magnificent! Overall I wouldn’t go out of my way to see this but it’s nice to see once. (Did not see a guard changing ceremony as none were on that day)

Great visit. The multimedia tour was fantastic and a great way to introduce and understand the phenomenal rooms. Bonus was the kids multimedia tour which my 10 & 7 thoroughly enjoyed allowing us adults to focus on ours in peace! Ending in a peaceful garden walk. Highly recommend.

Our visit to Buckimgan Palace impressed us, especially the changing of the guard. We also enjoyed the beautiful gardens around the palace. Inside you can see the magnificence and splendor of the Royal family. Each hall reveals the majesty of the Queen and is truly worth a visit.

Beautiful palace and grounds. The home of English tradition and Royal family history. We visited for a Palace tour along with the garden visit. There are plenty of staff to professionally assist you during the visit, and you will be granted a audio commentary. Although the garden visit provided a in person commentary. There are no photos or videos allow to be taken during your visit apart from specific areas - of which you will be notified.Your visit should be booked online and scheduled for a specific time. All proceeds go into a Heritage Charity Trust.Only a specific part of the palace is offered for the tour and this includes formal presentation and areas when persons are knighted.

Wow such a great visit.Details of prices ect in the photos, unfortunately you are not permitted to take photos whilst inside the palace, photos are from the Buckingham Palace official souvenir book. But amazing visit, you have to queue per visit, if you have tickets I would send one person up the front to speak to one of the many staff to make sure that the queue you are in is for your time alot. The queue moves quickly but then takes time to get through security as you can imagine.Audio description devices are available once you have passed the security section, then you follow the route at your own pace and take as long as needed for the visit.Once you are done you will come out onto the rear of the palace by the garden, if you look to the left you have a pavilion area where you can take photos and straight ahead is the gift shop.It was great to visit this and get a bottle of Buckingham palace port, even better with 20% off.Hope you all have a great visit.

We (myself and my 9 year old daughterbooked in for the State rooms tour. No photos were aloud. Absolutely stunning! Such an amazing experience. We walked through the different rooms including the ball room and the throne room. The details were exquisite. The jubilee exhibit was out of this world, we got to see some key pieces of the queens personal jewelry collection, stunning! We also got to see some of the royal art collection and various paintings of previous Kings, Queens and other Royalty. It was extremely reasonable for what you got to experience. There is a cafe situated on the veranda and the rear of the palace, it had a lovely selection of cakes, sandwiches and icecream again, reasonably priced. You got to walk through some of the garden which were vast and stunning even in the rain (an additional ticket allows the full garden tour). There is also a shop which has some stunning pieces but is very expensive. However if you get your ticket stamped at the end of the tour you can turn it into a year ticket allowing you to visit again and again, fantastic! The only downfall was the wait in the rain. When they say only arrive 10 mins before hand do so... you will be asked to return to the back of the line to allow the earlier ticket holders in first as you book a time slot that they adhere to.

We HAD to get a glimpse of the Queens residence while in town 🙂. The memorial for Queen Victoria is located in front of the palace. The flowers were STUNNING with vibrant colors that serve as a gorgeous entry point to the grounds. They do have a ceremony for the Changing of the Guard" every day, but we missed it. I have been to London a few times, and I am always amazed with how strongly the Monarchy is represented in SO many ways. The Royal image seems to be everywhere from the currency to pub names, parks, Souvenir Stores to the sides of city buses. I think its pretty awesome, and as an American, its quite fascinating 😀 . In comparison to the White House, Buckingham Palace is much more ornate and ceremonial, complete with the palace guardvin bright red and bearskin hats.

Each summer Buckingham Palace’s State Rooms are open to the public. It’s definitely worth going as all the 12 rooms of the self-guided tours are stunning. It’s well organised and the audio guides are free. In some rooms it unfortunately gets a bit too busy. And the 90-min experience is also somewhat overpriced - even though UK residents can use their ticket for an entire year.

Buckingham Palace is something you must see if you’re in London. I would definitely recommend buying tickets. There will be a queue to get in and you cannot take pictures inside the Palace. The interior was impressive and the gardens were beautiful. I would recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes as the companions we were with complained almost the whole trip. We had tea on the back garden area. It was very crowded. I’m not sure this is something you must do as there are plenty of other options in London. If you’re going to see the changing of the guards arrive early so you can get a good view. Again, our English companions were not interested in walking much or showing us a good time. Needless to say, we do not even talk to these people anymore. We would have rather been by ourselves and explored this alone. We would have had a better time.

The audio multimedia guide tour is not quite precise, in my opinion should have a larger screen with a better sensibility for the touch screen (same problem is with multimedia guide tour Windsor Castle).More information for the numerous works of art with improvement in highlighting this ones .Its a symbol and one of the most beautiful castle in the world wich I highly recommend.

Obviously had a cream tea (would of been rude not toand as expected the scones were delicious. Very generous in size, very tasty and with lots of lovely fruit, topped off with a small jar of TipTree strawberry jam & Rodda’s Clotted Cream! Loved the experience of walking around the state rooms of the palace. The rooms were stunning. The tour was very informative and only took about an hour to do. Love that the tour brings you out into the gardens. There was a lovely café outside, that sold delicious ice cream! Which was perfect in the heat. Would 100% recommend the tour.

Very busy tourist area, but a classic British landmark to visit whilst in London. You can walk up to the outer fence areas and see the palace guards and the changing of the guard. There is a sizeable pedestrian area protected from the road to stand and take photographs or admire the landmark.A fountain stands opposite the palace, and the surround ‘mall’ green area is a good sized parked for London

My London trip will not be complete without visiting the top and number place must see in London, Buckingham Palace.Buckingham Palace is where the United Kingdom monarchy or the king and the queen live and is also the headquarters of the monarch administrative for the United Kingdom. This palace is located in the city of Westminster, and the palace is the place for the monarchy to host celebrations, such as the state event and royal celebrations, such as Platinum Jubilee. One activity that attracts most tourists while visiting London is the ceremony of changing the guard. This palace is open for visitors and closed on a specific month date. Unfortunately, the Palace was closed during my visit. Nevertheless, I am still happily able to see the palace in real, where Princess Diana and Price Charles was getting married.

The palace itself is amazing and the tour is very much worth it. We also included the mews and the art exposition which makes a nice half day activity. With that being said, I think that if this is your first time in London might not be the best use of your time. Also be aware, this activity is open for only a few months a year. Plan ahead with time!

I have been to here just to enjoy the changing of guards in different views, it is amazing! And I have visit the State Rooms, Royal Mews and the Queen’s gallery. There are so much collections that you could enjoy.A very unique experience, would love to bring my wife here again.P.S. if you want to see the changing of guards with a better view, you could either choose under the Queen Victoria statue or beside the gate of the Palace. The guards will enter the gate from both sides, and leave the Palace using the middle gate. Good luck! Enjoy!

One of the most popular destination in England, people from around the world comes here, always lively and full of people . People enjoy coming here ,its good that this place doesnt have entry fee, looking into the crowd and sensitivity of cleanliness I believe this place should have some Bins. I and many people were struggling to find bins searched everywhere and found one outside . No wonder some of the rubbish were hidden behind monuments. For this 2 star, else its a good place.

Visited the state rooms. Absolutely beautiful! The tour was a media guided tour which gave a lot of information and a history of certain items. Attention to detail in every room truely is amazing. I had afternoon tea in the garden after and the cakes were delicious, my son had ice-cream which he said was so good. There are a few kids activities to do after the tour which I thought was a really nice touch. Huge gift shop too! Would certainly recommend and cant wait to go back!

Fantastic place to visit. Would have been even better if we hadnt felt like cattle being herded, and the shouted instructions would have been better on a TV screen. Other than that, a unique and thrilling experience. Good health to her Majesty!

A brilliant day out for seeing the grandeur and historic State Rooms. We were lucky to see the Platinum Jubilee banquet all made from felt which was amazing. Her Majestys jewellery was displayed which was very beautiful. The cafe is a welcome rest with reasonable priced refreshments looking over the gardens.

Go see Liz. The state room tour is very sumptuous and to see a little of the behind the scenes was good. The audio guides were informative and detailed but a little short. After the tour we are in the garden cafe, a good choice of food but really expensive. The garden tour was good but we got the feeling the guide was not feeling it that afternoon. Will go back and do the other tours at a later date.

Fantastic worth while place to visit. We visited the State Rooms and Gardens, but were let down by travelling across London to get there - no Toilets found, arrived to go on the tour, No Toilets available untill after the tour in the gardens.Come on Queen, The Government and Councils, why is our Country the laughing stock of the World - and is classed as third world, compared to Japan and other countries. It was a very hot day, and we are all meant to be sensible, and drink to stay healthy but no Toilets available - I ask you !!!

Very beautiful place. I advise you to visit here. The official London residence of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. Went there to see the change of guard. It was amazing, the band even played “Into the Unknown” for the kids around. You can get s really nice view of the whole event from the stairs the Queen Victoria Memorial. The only downside is that it’s very windy during the winter, so it’s worth it to wear a thick coat.

A must visit place for anyone visiting London. The surroundings are very quiet. The fact that the guards are moving around is something to look forward to. Visiting is completely free of charge. Because its so spectacular. As far as I know this palace is the palace of the Queen. The palace complex is located on a large plot of land. Also, the park around Buckingham Palace will soothe your mind. This is a very valuable opportunity to visit.

The heart of the UK itself, the Buckingham Palace is an extravagant sight to behold. Though you have to pay for tours, visiting it is completely free and marches are done frequently for those wanting to see. The park next to is also gorgeous as well with a small Cafe right next to it. There are soldiers on guard 24/7 and is really cool to see. It is usually busy as expected but I would still recommend going here if you want to get your breath taken away!

A must to visit when coming to London. We went to see the royal changing of guards.. Got off Green park tube station and the walk from the tube through green park is scenic. There is a lot of police security around. But they are very polite and friendly. The changing guards ceremony was nice along with the marching band. The entire ceremony took around 30 mins

Buckingham Palace is the Queens residence in London and is open to the public during the summer months between July to September, when the Queen is not in residence. The tour needs to be booked online in advance and the admission is £20 per person. We visited there only for the Changing of the Queen Guard which is highly recommended by friends and we enjoyed the show so much even though it’s more than 1 hour. It’s not serious and boring as what we expected but really amusing.Just a reminder that the schedule varies by months. It’s daily in June & July, but only on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from August to May. We did not pay attention to the update and needed to change our planned schedule.

The security was extremely tight but since we just so happened to show up during changing of guard completely understandable. However the police although strick were friendly and nice. The palace was beautiful and clean. Tours were not available but thats just because of when we went. Definitely planning to go again and see the inside.
