Great service, very friendly staff and good food/wine

Me and my boyfriend went for dinner as part of his birthday celebration and we had an amazing time. The food was unbelievable, especially the surf and turf - lobster and steak cooked to perfection. Wine and cocktails list offers a great selection for everyone taste. The part which made our visit most memorable was the service. All staff members were very friendly and attentive but I would like to say a special thank you to Emily who really went above and beyond for us making us feel special.

We poped in on the off chance u had a table for 2 . Yes there was availability and front of house staff were lovely . Are waitress emma was very helpful and polite. Everything was perfect

Food was good value for money within the lunch menu and our server Emma was especially great :)

My server, Gary, was very attentive and friendly. He asked the kitchen questions about the dishes as I have an allergy and made sure it was OK for me to eat what I had picked. Food was tasty.Very friendly atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Looking great after the refurb and with the same high level of service and food quality. Have been many times for drinks and food and never had any complaints.

I had dinner at browns last night, it was a party of 6, for a Saturday night the place was very quite and the service was very poor and the quality of the food, just as bad. Each one of us were left stuck in our hotel room for the rest of the night after it, getting sick, completely ruined the whole weekend for everyone, the prices being so steep, youd think youd be getting good quality fresh food, but that couldnt have been further from the truth. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND 🤢!!! 🚽🧻

Good selection on menu, food was delicious (all 6 of us really enjoyed our mealsand the service was just amazing. Emily was very friendly, professional, highly skilled and is a true ambassador to your company.

Was ok. Service was friendly and very relaxed pace. Food was nice. Drinks was nice. Nice atmosphere. But left feeling it was expensive in comparison other locations such as Gusto

Best fish and chip experience in Liverpool. This is the second time that we’ve had a wonderful meal at the same place. Service was excellent too. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect from service provided to the fantastic food.

I cant remember leaving a restaurant hungry for decades. It was BAD.2 different white wines bottles served at room temperature. They put the bottles in blast chiller for a couple minutes. 30 minutes after we sat down, nothing else cold by the glass and no longer wanted a bottle. So no wine with our meal.Wife got the Prawn and crab linguine. No crab. Tasty, but no crab. I got the Fish Pie. 80% mash, tiny bit of salmon, couple of small prawns, no scallop. Flavorless, too.They took my meal off the bill as Id barely touched it. Off to a chippie.

Im on holiday from NZ and Browns Liverpool was highly recommend.Wonderful experience!Delicious food, I enjoyed the excellent crab and shrimp linguini.Our server was Thomas and he was attentive, very pleasant and an asset to your establishment.

Two of us went for dinner and ordered a steak and lobster combo for two. The lobster served was so freshly juicy and tender. The steak (mediumwas also perfectly grilled. Our waiter is very friendly and efficient. We absolutely had a great time there!

Very good. Service was excellent and deserves a special mention. Decor pretty glam, good menu with lots of choices, loos stylish, very clean. We were looking for a special venue for our daughters graduation. Browns did not disappoint.

Food was amazing. Had steaks perfectly cooked and house red we had with the dinner was lovely. Our server was friendly and helpful and ambience had a fab vibe.

We came here on Saturday with my son and his wife for Father’s Day breakfast. For the first time ever we were so disappointed. We have been to this restaurant hundreds of times and never had a bad meal. The restaurant was pretty quiet , we had a table booked for 11am. We were seated and the waitress took our drinks order. When she brought the drinks over she took our food order. We waited 45 mins for our food to come and it was ok at best. My wife was sitting facing the bar area and whilst we were waiting the 45 minutes she counted 9 members of staff standing round chatting but at no time did any of them come to check on us. We had drank our drinks and were just sitting there waiting for food. When the waitress brought our food she looked very uncomfortable and apologised for our wait. I had Eggs Royal and the wife had Eggs Benedict. The sauce looked congealed and was only warm. On payment we were given £10 off for the wait. At no time did we mention anything to any member of staff so it was obvious that they were aware of the situation. To me £10 compensation is neither here or there I wanted a decent meal in a timely manner as we are used to getting at Browns. We had waited for a bit after relaunch of the restaurant as we were anticipating that it would be busy. It was quiet but the service was appalling. What a shame that a refit has affected the restaurant in this way. Definitely re training needed here to include the importance of the customer. So disappointed by our visit. NEVER seen this before here

The whole experience was very good. Our waitress, Emily, was very attentive without being "in your face." Her suggestions and comments when we were making our choices were very helpful. The variety of the menu and the presentation of the food when it arrived was also very good.The only downside was that we felt the main course arrived more quickly that we would expect. It would have been nicer had we been asked if we were ready for the main course. Having said that, in no way did we feel that we were being rushed to complete our meal, due to the high demand for service. Our table was within view of the door and we did comment about the people that had to be turned away due to reservations being full at that time.Its a pity that Emily finished her shift midway through our meal, as we would have liked to personally thank her for our service.

It was our first time back to Browns, since the renovation.We only had a few drinks but as usual, the service was excellent.We would like to thank Hope, Cerys and Michael Stables for looking after us. It is great to know that the one constant thing is the service.Now 2 negatives. No Moretti !!!. We visit Browns regularly and, whether its Liverpool or Manchester, the food is consistently good. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Good choices on the menu both for mains and desserts. The cocktails are an added bonus - excellent! The wine we wanted was unavailable on two occasions this month but we had a nice alternative. Recommended!

Jason our server was lovely and attentive. The food was excellent and tasty. The only thing was me being old school was expecting a carb with my meal no chips or spuds, they were an extra with the fish cakes. But you get them with fish (they sold out of them).

Amazing food, extremely friendly staff

Great quality afternoon tea in a sophisticated ambiance. Beautiful scones, fine sandwiches and delicious cakes. Only downside was that the tea (a teabag in a potwas not open end. I would have hoped to get at least one top up during a 2 hour time slot.

Ordered meal and drinks and had to shout out to order more drinks .Waited extremely long time for mains and when arrived my roast was completely cold , was not impressed, second serving was piping hot and delicious was such a shame was not eating with rest of my family

Really impressed!!We had a great meal last night at Browns (Liverpool). We had phoned our order through because we were due at a show later and the staff were really organised and attentive to our need to be quite prompt. The guys that served us were so lovely; friendly, helpful and charming. Added to that, the food was excellent; all four of us enjoyed each of our three courses - its one of the best meals I have had in a while. Well done Browns - well be back!

Never visited a browns before but very impressed. Table for 8 people and all very pleased with our starters and mains. Great steak and cocktails. Very pricey but worth every penny. Good atmosphere, good music.

We had an amazing Mother’s Day dinner, food was hot and delicious, everything came really quick as well! Gary went above and beyond with the service, he made us all laugh and we felt really welcomed and well looked after. He is a real asset to the company and makes the visit even more enjoyable. We will be definitely coming back again x

Wow! We went for Valentines Day and I was blown away. The food was exquisite, the cocktails were delightful and Lucy our server was probably the best, she couldnt do enough for us. It really made our night memorable for our first one together. Also, I cant forget they actually have a piano man! It was super romantic, will definitely be coming back

Had a nice dinner here, food was pretty good. Staff were really nice. Service was perhaps a little slow but understandable considering how busy it seemed to be, our waitress was literally running in and out of the kitchen. Nice ambience about the place.

Vegetarian breakfast - was ok. Burnt edge on eggs, tomato seen better days, toast needed some colour for me, everything else was good.Coffe - fantasticService - awesome (considering the place was extremely busy our the service was exceptional, staff were always attentive and focused on everhone present).5 stars if food was improved.

This is such a lovely restaurant, serving British classics, when you arrive you are taken to your table by a very smart waiter and made to feel quite specialInside this Brasserie, the interior feels very up market, lots of deep warm mahogany and mood lighting, the bar takes centre stageThe menu has lots to offer and is quite varied although they had run out of a couple of itemsI had the chicken and avocado salad which was excellent and my other half had the chicken schnitzelIts ideally located in Liverpool one, it serves food all day 😋

The food was overall solid given the price. A little disappointed they ran out of pancakes only an hour into service, which is odd for a brunch spot on Sunday. The spinach omelette and egg/salmon on sourdough were good subs.

Gorgeous dining experience at Browns Liverpool today. The food was amazing and the staff were just so lovely and couldnt do enough for us. Will definitely be returning!!

I’m visiting from London and found Browns from Google. Reception staff were friendly and showed me to my table. Where I then waited 20 minutes to place an order- lots of staff, no tables and no service. I ordered sour dough toast with avo and 4 extra poached eggs. The eggs smelt and tasted of vinegar which ruined the meal. After eating same situation - I waited another 10 minutes to get someone’s attention while the staff huddle around in groups talking to each other. I’ve counted 8 staff infront of me and only one other table in view with people. The food and service today was awful.

It was our second time at the restaurant yesterday, amazing and delicious food! we really enjoyed it.Very friendly staff expect one elderly gentleman who served us yesterday, he wasn’t rude but we didn’t feel comfortable with his attitude and manners.Thank you for understanding.

Lovely staff, lovely food, amazing warm environment. Clean, tidy, aesthetically pleasing, well laid out restaurant. Service time was good for the table of 10, staff are friendly, well trained and attentive. The quality of food was cooked perfectly as were the ingredients. I would highly recommend coming here.

Had to book but no wonder as the atmosphere food and service are excellent. It is disabled friendly and has a good gluten free menu recommended by the celiac foundation UK. Will be going again before the end of my Christmas holiday.
