Mmmmmmm I thought it was going to be so good as I rememberd...No not at all ...all the way from Houston...The Links dont have that taste as I rememberd ..My Mama said the pork bones are bolied, she is a BBQ legend, she loves her meat smoked...she knew the difference besides ,smoke was coming from them, in the container...she said they havent always Been liked that. Time 2 find a new spot!

My wife had the Rib Plate and she said that her meal was okay.I had the Chicken Plate, it came with dark meat. The meat was dry and tough, which is not normal for dark pieces of chicken. It was as though the meat was old or had been over cooked. Therefore, I did not enjoy the meal.

The food was very good. Service was fast and friendly. Didnt know they had a drive thru window.

Service was ok from the lady that took our order at the window, however she got the order completely wrong. They didn’t put one of my sandwiches in the bag that they charged me for. Another lady that was handing me the food was very rude. The food don’t taste anything like it use to. I would honestly no recommend!

We hit it Just right. Pulled into the drive through and very lil wait. The 2 links we got were actually very very good as were the ribs.

Links are worth a 6hr drive from Oklahoma!!!!!!! Only place on earth to get em ,and smoked Budden

No star took 28 minutes to make a barbecue Spud and a link that is not even edible it has a fake casing that is in the they told me I had to squeeze the meat out of it on a piece of bread that aint how we do links in Texas so furthermore they would not even give me my money back for the link advise anybody in Southeast Texas to not eat at broussards totally disgusting look like dog food$8 for a link and a piece of Hill country Fair paper thin bread this place is a joke

Nope not my type. Ate one rib and part of a link plate. Tossed the rest cause it was over cooked.Too much sauce and not enough smoke.Green beans and dirty rice were good.

Would never order the link sausage, again. My husband asked me why he couldnt eat the paper the sausage was in. The ribs were ok. Tender and lightly seasoned. The customer service was great. The service deserves 5 stars.

The meat was so good, the service wouldnt have mattered... but they were so good too! Best BBQ Ive had in, well, forever, and Ive worked at in the business for a couple of years in my younger days. Dont even think about it, just go try it, youll see! One affectionato to another...

Stopped by today on a whim. The drive through process is a touch on the slow side and there are no prices posted on the menu. With that said, the staff is friendly and were quick to offer up a recommendation when I asked "whats good here?". Their answer : "everything". So I went with the brisket and rib plate with a side of dirty rice and potato salad. $14 and a short wait later, I was off with a nice plate, plastic ware and 2 slices of bread. This plate is generous enough to split. Give this place a shot.

They had a lag when they first opened after the fire the food wasnt as good and some of their regulars had went to another vendor but I was going to visit my nephew a couple of weeks ago and he asked me to bring Broussards so I said sure and picked some up as I was looking in the bag for a snack the top came off the container and if I hadnt made a promise I would have eaten all 6 they smelled that good. When I got back home I went to get some business was booming. "Nirvana" THEYRE BACK get yours! I got mine!😋😋😋

I’m sorry but the brisket was not fully cooked the links were not edible I had to squeeze them out which I don’t even eat my food I gave it to my dog I’m sorry I’ll give this call one out of the 10 I’m not satisfied with the barbecue at all.

Did a call in order at 6:18pm...got there before 7pm and some ugly lady said tShe didnt make it cause I called in after 630pm...had to show them my phone at the time I called.... Im like really?

Did not enjoy the food. Hadnt been there in awhile, and had a taste for it, but it wasnt the same of what it use to be. Wayyy too much sauce, and the rice is nasty ijs. Yall have to do better!!!

Delicious meat. My girlfriend had heard of this place years ago and we were just passing by , but the detour was well worth it.Great value for money too.Seating in the nice outdoor area was comfortable on the wooden benches.No restroom though, but any nearby places to use one.

Best BBQ in Southeast Texas in my opinion. My go to BBQ joint if we dont want to smoke our own. Extra BBQ sauce poured over everything. Best green beans Ive ever had!

Bought Ribs, Chicken, Brisket and Pulled Pork. The only item that did not have to go into the oven to make it tender was the Pulled Pork. None of the meats on the pit long enough to have a smokehouse flavor

The ribs and sausage taste ok. They forgot my 3rd meat of my 3 meat dinner, but didnt forget to over charge me for 3 meats though. It was cold upon delivery. So I had to heat it up before eating it.Overall a disappointment, especially for an out of towner looking for the areas BEST bbq.

Broussards links plus ribs serves up old fashioned bbq. The brisket was not that tender to me but had good flavor and the sauce was tangy and tasty. It was good as a Sandwich, not too greasy, but just moist enough. The casing on the links was a bit tough to cut through. The ribs were very tender and had a good smoke flavor. Boudin was average. Not too spicy, but with a classic flavor and a little smoke.

Just moved here wanted some good smoked bbq.The sausage was floating in bbq sauce I tried cutting the sausage with a knife the inside part kept skidding out the skin..omg and that sausage was not smoked on a pit I know that much lukewarm food ..never going back over there...not real out the smokey bbq didnt even have a smoke taste or smell..

why is the food so cold? i think they serving leftovers and that is awful ..food is not seasoned no taste at all you have to use your imaginaTION WHILE EATING AND THAT IS TERRIBLE FOR THAT . I was a customer at Broussards BBQ on June 24,2020 10:30am ,phoned in order total $63.00 for travel. Picked up the order NO BREAD. So I go to the window asked for bread that came with order but I did not receive. The lady open the window theres a roach setting there and she asked me whats my order(roach just setting. I asked for the missing bread ,she turned around took her bare hands and put the bread in a bag ( saw gross eyes). So I ask if there was available gloves then she replied WE Do. I say well how come you didnt use the gloves. She neatly folds the bag as she walks to the window. I told her with C19 ,food handling rules I refused the bread. She told me "HAVE A Good Day" I replied I will when I call the food and drug ADM. Well I called Bmt local was told we will get back with you. Still waiting ! Until Mondayaget call back. As of today I have not received a text/call/email/ letter from the local office. Now I know why the windows are tinted

Broussards has BEST FOOD & MOST HOSPITABLE WORKERS 🤩 My family used to own a bbq spot when my mother was growing up so I know GOOD BBQ when I eat it. The ladies that served me @ drive up window were so sweet & accomodating, they smiled, they made sure that I got all of my order. I have tried other places to eat bbq but NONE CAN COMPARE to the FOOD & SERVICE @ BROUSSARDS BBQ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The cashier was very nice the girl who gave the food didnt give any plastic forks or napkins or bread with my meal. And my daughter bought two links sandwich the sausages was floating in barbecue sauce. Which ended up in my car seat. Couldnt eat my food cause no. Silverware and dropped my daughter and grand daughter and went to work. So Ive to wait until I get off at 8:00 p.m. tonight

For the record, it came with 2 halfs of a link. Beans tasted straight out of a can. Potato salad was the worse. Never had it with chopped onion and relish. Link could have smoked longer for my taste. New building, worse cooking. Brisket was on point.

Been away from my hometown since 2006. I usually stop at Johns Seafood but lately Ive been craving LINKS ...and HOUSTON dont know about these. No barbecue place out there even knows what they are. Got my link sammich today tho..cravings solved!!!!!

Is it small location with sitting area outside. The potato salad is sweet and bbq sauce. The ribs are tender but sausage has a weird texture with a casing the seems inedible. The dirty rice is good. It was ok to try for the first time. The bbq sauce is put on the meat without asking.The food was ok

This is bad BBQ. I got links, ribs and brisket. The links are like a fine grain meat with a weird aftertaste. I ended up throwing away my link sandwich. The brisket and ribs were covered in BBQ sauce. I knew as soon as I opened the box it was going to be bad based on the fact of how much sauce was in the box. Good BBQ speaks for itself and none to very lil sauce is required. It was my first and last time to go there.

You know, BBQ is highly speculative. Its an opinionated subject. Someone once told me that "the best chili was the one like your momma made." I think that is a factor. I discovered Broussards by accident. Its a picturesque place. There is no inside dining or service. Just walk up and order from a window. I was in Beaumont for work and on my way home back to League City. I ordered to go. Asked what they were most proud of and they replied the sausage links and pork ribs so I got some.There was a wait before they even addressed me and no one was in line. Then there was a bit of a wait before I was served a few sausages and some pork ribs.They are good food if you are starving. But not so good compared to any of the more famous Texas BBQ places. The sausage was more like Boudin. The casing was rubbery and chewy and the meat was a fine grain, pate like substance which squished out as you bit it. Better spread upon crackers. The pork ribs were cooked to the point where they fell apart and the pound that I ordered was mainly the small junk ribs on the end of a spare rib rack. The meat itself was dry and overcooked. All of it, sausage and pork ribs were covered in sauce. The sauce was kind of like what you would expect from a can of pork and beans.Its no BBQ legend! I ate most of it because I was hungry. But... its not bad food. Just bad BBQ. Probably, I will put the left overs into a pot of beans.

The barbecue is very good, hotlinks very good customer service is lousy. I would visit more often however the wait time is substantially too long. I don’t quite understand why it takes so long if you have two customers to prepare their meals to go this place really needs to take a look at customer service.

This is absolutely the worst barbecue Ive ever eaten in my life. I went about 7:40 p.m. They were getting ready to close. I got to my hotel room and was super excited about eating. Only to find out, the ribs were full of fat, the beef was old and all of the barbecue was swimming in sauce. Dont waste your money going to this place. It is awful

Sorry excuse for Texas BBQ..drowned in sauce which I didnt get the option to say I didnt want sauce. If you need sauce for your meat, it aint right. Beans from a can, potato salad most likely from a can, no tea ( really?). Way over priced. Im not even gonna get into details about the links...oh well, live and learn I guess. They need to go back to Kansas City with that garbage. Never again.

This place lack customer service. The female at the window was short, and like always my order was completely WRONG!!!! I had a call in order, so I decided to go through the drive thru. WRONG answer!!! We waited and waited. Finally, it was our turn. I told the female, I had a call in and gave her my name. She came back asked 4 links. Because I waited for so long and already endured enough of her so called customer service, I said yes. My original call in order included 6 links for travel since they were out of frozen and cold links already. Remind you its 2:30, and theyre out already. Moving forward, I got my order and you guessed it. It was totally wrong!!! They gave me link sandwiches. Meaning the sauce is mixed in with the meat. I did say for travel!!! When I told them my order was wrong, I was told, they couldnt take the food back. However, I could order more sauce and fix it myself. REALLY!!!!!I try so hard to support locally owned business, but places like this make it hard.

Their BBQ is very good when theyre consistent with its temperature and flavor. My family and I usually order the BBQ baked potato, Links, ribs, and brisket. The potato isnt always cooked to my liking, its not always as tender as it could be. I will give them their props, they have the best links around. The ribs are pretty good when not over cooked and dried out. Tasty brisket but it has been pretty fatty when Ive been getting it lately. Food is usual lukewarm hardly if ever hot. Delicious beans and when I first had the rice dressing it was to die for now it has been bland and lifeless. If they would focus a bit on improving the quality of the way they present their food and consistency (food being served hot, seasoning of sides, they way they cook and cut the meatit would improve an already decent BBQ restaurant to an excellent one.

Stopped by on may 21st 2014 on the 4 stars full custom gospel bbq gave them. Got the two meat combo, ribs and links, beans and rice dressing. The full custom bbq said the links had a nice crispness, easy to bite through, the links I got were tough and rubbery, to the point I didnt bother with them after the first try. Two of the ribs were good, but two of them were off the chine, not so good, left them behind. the rice dressing would have been great except they didnt salt the water the rice was cooked in so it was flavorless. The beans needed something too. Also the trashcan in the dining area needs to be emptied more often, this would help keep the flies down. Finally, be sure to bring some paper towels because they only give you one and the sauce is vinegary and very greasy.
