Brooksteed Alehouse - Pub in Lancing, United Kingdom
Popped in while wating for a taxi having done business locally. Only had 2 halvesVery pleasant and friendly. Good selection of real ales, ciders etc. and had a lovely stout so tasty had a 2nd S it went down quick.A good place to meet up with a few mates for longer I would say.
Great pub and atmosphere. Good beers. We had a live band. Old school rock. It was ace!
Great pub and great beer.
Superb quirky little bar, popular with CAMRA members, absolutely love it here :)
Fantastic little pub with a great selection of beers and a comfortable and cosy interior.
Great customer service and lovely beer
There isnt really anything else to say about this place other than it is a credit to Worthing. Amazing beers, some brewed and conjured within its hallowed walls. Superb banterful people serving it all to you and they have food and non food events. One of Worthing best kept secrets.
Fab little alehouse, wonderful selection of lagers, ales and ciders. Amazing staff, customer service second to none. Miss this little gem at your peril.
Legendary pub, IPA heaven with consistently good hooch
Small but user friendly, very laid back vibe. Beers are amazing, like, really good! Full 5/5 from me
A little pub with a lot of character. Some good bears on tap and some very nice local ales. Worth a visit!
Great place great beer good prices and great staff
Best Sussex Beer / IPAs, Staff polite and professional *****
Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and good choice of drinks
Lovely pub with fab choices of ales, ( Knickerbockerglory looks strange in a Regent fans hands !Struggled with the service a bit otherwise would have been 5 stars.
Very much enjoyed this during the tap takeover event. Friendly patrons and staff.
Great staff. Great environment. Great beer
Rude staff. Pretentious. "This is how we serve this beer"Surely the way this beer is served should be how I want it to be served.. Used to be a good pub but not now
Such a brilliant friendly pub. Great beers, lovely decor and front and back gardens to ebjoy. Always a pleasure to visit.
Lovely place with a great staff attitude and always something ideal to drink. Really helped my birthday celebrations.
Like going for a beer in your mate’s front room - in a good way! Relaxed and informal, good prices, even better beers.
Best pub in Worthing. Great beer, always friendly staff and punters
My first pint on draft was in poor condition. I changed to milk stout (on keg I thinkwhich was fine. The staff were friendly but I found having to use an app to access the beer menu irritating .
Pleasant staff, good beer.Has changed since I was last there. Not the micro brewery it is advertised as being but a good pub nonetheless.
Very happy pub , dog friendly well kept ales and very clean , we had a great time with the locals cheers guys.
Always enjoy my visits here. Great owners and location. Perfect selection of ales, lagers and ciders. Also a nice back garden and front terrace. Highly recommended.
A real micro pub gem, a little walk from the town centre, but well worth it. Make sure you go inside, the owners a young couple have ;put there heart and soul into creating a very tasteful and friendly pub
Another one of Worthings fine independent pubs, we really are lucky. Great selection of craft beers and friendly staff, looking forward to our next visit
The ordering app is unreliable at first so as I had scanned with the NHS app a back up was found. The second try at an order went through OK I just hope I dont get any bothersome emails. I live miles away and happily visit if I am in the area as this is the best micropub north of the tracks.
Great selection of beers, wines and ciders. Really enjoyed it here and the ordering system worked really well. Very friendly staff too. Will be back!
Arrived for a much needed pint after cycling from Chichester and was welcomed warmly and openly for a quite delicious house beer. Staff friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere. Would return in a heartbeat
Great place for a proper pint. Well set up for social distancing too. We felt really safe and were well looked after. Lovely Ales too!
One of the best places to drink in Worthing. A must visit. A top class selection of cask, keg and bottled beers. Also, great quality wines and gins. The highlight for me is the atmosphere and the friendliness of the bar staff.
Dog friendly and a great selection of beers. Staff really respect the pups to the degree of bringing biscuits and getting to know them as much as the patrons. Well be back!
Great little micro pub. Looked like it had a great selection on beers. Unfortunately I was recovering from surgery so on some enforced teetotalling. The landlord gave me a free and surprisingly palatable non alcoholic IPA though. Also lovely dogs in residence.
Fantastic beer selection, a warm and friendly welcome from John and the best pork scratchings Ive ever tasted. We will be back.
Hey guys that is an awesome setup looks so simple yet reinvented a pub meeting place. Loved the porter and tried lots for next visit soon. Relaxed in the sun outside sat on a padded barrel. Loved it. Well done. Cheese and biscuits is that extra mile making it head and shoulders above the rest.
I like this place, but should love it. A lot of well kept beers, but found they were recycling a load Id had from here before.... Maybe need to work with a few more breweries to get some different beers in for full marks
This little place oozes authenticity and passion for quality beer, wine and spirit. They nail and champion the independent crafted product and know exactly how to serve it. I have been in this trade for 20 years in a variety of corporate roles and many try to manufacture this offer. You simply can’t fake it and these guys are the reason why. Enjoy, soak it up and make sure you say hi. Great work good fellows of The Brooksteed Ale House!!!
Brooksteed was excellent as always. It is a very welcoming and friendly place with interesting pictures, books and people. I go quite often with my parents or friends, every time it is a relaxing atmosphere and the drinks and snacks are very good. I would recommend it as the best pub in Worthing.
Absolutely fantastic, very very helpful staff as I was having a difficult time picking a drink I liked they gave me the option of tasting pretty much all the lagers, Once we found out I perfered Gin everyone was jumping for Joy. They take pride in finding the perfect drink for you. Will definitely be back.
A nice space & the outside seating is a bonus in warm weather. Despite a wide range of beers on tap & in bottles or cans,, I couldnt find a stout or porter, which was surprising. The ale I selected was nice enough but not my usual tipple so I only stayed for a half. I was there to meet a friend but As a single woman I think Id feel self conscious drinking there on my own.
This place has style; and I dont even like beer! My partner loves it though and always wants to go there. I appreciate that they serve good wine in proper glasses. If youre very, very lucky, youll find a seat.
Wonderful place, fantastic beer and great atmosphere. The owners really know their stuff and create a very welcoming atmosphere. My only complaint is that it closes so early! Highly recommended.
Visited in June this year. What a wonderful real ale pub. Lots of brews to choose from, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Sit inside or outside. Locals are very friendly too. The interior is very quirky and comfortable. Can recommend.
Chanced upon this place yesterday when randomly in Worthing. Lovely chilled out atmosphere, variety of interesting beers, ciders and spirits (I’d recommend the mango cider). The owner/ bartender was also very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend
So lucky to have this as our local! Small, extremely friendly and really great at theme nights and calender events. Brilliant cider and beer selection. You wont get a seat after 5pm on Friday night though. Lovely it. Like being in your own front room with good company and good cider.
This is my local and its such a wonderful place. Staff are welcoming and helpful and the other customers are always friendly (which is lucky since it does get very busy!). Great beer and cider selection which is constantly changing. You couldnt hope for a more charming spot, really.
It really doesnt get any better than this? Some of the finest beer, cider and more in the Land! A tribute to its owners and very knowledgable staff who are always on hand to explain in detail the type and style of drinks on offer. Friendly and jolly, with patrons of like mind always easy to chat to others, ""A watering hole oasis amongst the dessert sands"", fine beasts only welcome, others, stay at Spoons!!!
One of my favourite UK pubs. Fantastic owners. World class beer on pump, kegs welcome, bottles of some Belgian beauties and a host of local stunners. Amazing locals all passionate about beer. Welcoming to home brewers. Lunchtimes quiet and intimate, evenings are a bustling time for befriending strangers! I love this pub.
