No-frills, family-run eatery with booth seating offering breakfast platters & Greek specialties.
Got fish fry take out. Quality was excellent and service was friendly. Great people work there.
Always a greay experience. The staff is always super friendly and effecient. They have lots of seating sonthebwait is usually never long
The food is okay. Staff is a bit strange/clueless. Got a soda refill from a pitcher of soda that was carried around from table to table and the soda was flat. The faucets in the bathroom sprays the water put so hard your shirt is going to get wet. You definitely get a better value at even a George Webb over this place. Save your self the pain and just go somewhere else.
Great food, nice prices, fast service. Perfect Sunday morning experience. Will definitely be going back!
Loved the food as always, a co-worker introduced me to this place about 2 months ago and I think I go every week now. To tell the truth its actually twice a week. Nice, clean, and quiet. The service is also great, Ive even started bringing my son and friend and they love it as well. Thanks Cheryl
Okay so the food is really good. The service is good. But I have been here 2 times now and every single time they have brought me a coffee mug with lipstick on it. I told the waitress and she brought me ANOTHER mug with lipstick on it both times. So far 6 out of 10 mugs have had lipstick on it. You would think that when I ask for a lipstick free mug they would bring me one but actually just brought me another mug with lipstick. Please check this... itβs pretty gross.
Great little place! The staff is extremely friendly and the food is good! Good for either a quick bite (the food arrives very fastor a place to catch up with friends. Well definitely be returning!
The prices are right and the service is good. Food is awesome with a huge variety. I will be going back.
Food was delicious and fresh and service was friendly! I ordered a chicken caesar wrap with fries and soup and everything was perfect. The chicken was freshly grilled and the lettuce and veggies in the wrap were bright and crisp. The fries were perfectly golden, and the soup was excellent, too. I will definitely eat here again.
Friendly staff. Had lingonberry crepes but ordered without the cream cheese filling. Theyre delicious.
Food was excellent. Big portions, staff very friendly.
Always good food, friendly service at a reasonable price. Even on a Sunday mid-morning when things get a bit hectic, its always worth the wait.
Great selection of food. Great prices. Friendly staff. Food was delicious.
Friendly staff. Good value for the price. Teenagers had plenty of food with portion sizes. Great location near thoroughfare.
Stopped here on the way home for breakfast. The food and service was great. I definitely recommend them if you are in the area. Get there early though,as they had a bit of a wait time when we left, but it is worth the wait. Looking forward to trying other parts of the menu when we are back in the area.
Tried the walleye dinner. It was fantastic. Also took 2 pieces of cod, also great. I would recommend for quality, service, and value.
Nice place for breakfast. Went there on both Mothers Day and Fathers Day. Only a short wait each time. Friendly, attentive staff. Good sized portions and a kids menu. Nothing particularly fancy; just good food at a good price.
Terrible service extremely long waiting. Almost 2hr visit with a 3yr old. Took about 30 mins hostess to bring crayons. Most dont speak English. Every time! Never again! Sucks!
This is by far the the best Breakfast in Waukesha, WI. My wife and myselfhave never left this place hungry. Great service and reasonably priced see for yourself.Check it out.
They have great orange juice in a large mug, their Taco salads are really wonderful their omelets are great and they have a hamburger with avocados on it which I love. My husband loves their pancakes and they have a granola Shake thats really good the service is great
Good Food... Actual "green salads!" (little or no iceberg cullsReasonable prices. Service good... a little slow if their busy. ββββ.5βs
A hidden restaurant off Bluemound in Brookfield. The service is usually fast and the food is good. Serves breakfast and lunch. I think they close pretty early. My husband and I go here frequently when we dont know what we want to eat.
I went in at 12:30 for lunch and there were only a few other tables that were busy, now I know why they werenβt busy. I was approached immediately and received my drink and food quickly, but the food was very plain, something I couldβve made at home and although the portions were big, it wasnβt cheap, $15 for hot tea and a breakfast skillet. The waiter never came back to see how the food was and only returned after I was done eating. The tea pot was well worn and leaked all over my placemat and napkin, the waiter didnβt asked if I needed more napkins or would like a new placemat. With so many other choices on Bluemound road, I wonβt be going back.
Nice place to eat with choice of breakfast or lunch. My friend took omelet, breakfast, I, also had breakfast, baked oatmeal. Very good, not always available other places. Senior discounted meals with free coffee.very friendly to our large group.
Has this delivered via Door Dash this morning for breakfast. Their portions are massive!! My kids loved their crepes, my husband loved his lumberjack skillet and I ate some of my kids crepes( strawberry/banana/Nutella and lingonberryand they also had a ham and cheese omelet with hash browns which was also pretty darn good!My picky little ones are happy!! What more could a mom ask for?Weβll definitely be ordering from here again!
Very good. Lots of choices. They serve meals that are full plates, you wont leave hungry.Added; I recommend the skillets or eggs Benedict for breakfast with a smooth hollandaise sauce.
Went here for breakfast on Sunday. The food was fine, the prices were reasonable, and the service was adequate. Bottom line, theres nothing wrong with this place, but there are other restaurants Id rather go to for breakfast.
I had a patty melt and it was great. It came with soup and fries or chips, I had fries. The chicken dumpling was amazing and the patty melt was delicious. The prices were totally reasonable, I think $10.50 total. All and all I would recommend.
Good food. Good service. No wait on a Sunday morning. Big portions, so plan on left overs.
We loved it!! we got our food very quickly, it was delicious, and the service was outstanding!! We will definitely go back! :-)
The food is always so good when I visit! Sometimes they do have communication problems. So make sure you know what you want before u order
Food was not good. Hashbrowns were half raw and half burnt. Toast was tasteless and had very little butter on it.Service was slow.
Restaurant feels run down, old, and unclean, thats the first impression you get when you walk through the door. Staff does not speak very good English, which meant a complete misunderstanding when it came to ordering our food and the server seemed irritated to make any adjustments to what we ordered. The menu is also misleading as to sides that are suppose to come with the dish. They got both our orders wrong, took one of them back to the kitchen, scrapped off what they shouldnt have put on it and sent it back to the table...big no, no. When the dish came back, it was still undercooked, and served with attitude. The portions are undeniably large but with poor quality, that doesnt really matter. We were extremely disappointed considering the decent ratings we reviewed. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but they made some mistakes that are absolutely unacceptable in how you serve and treat your patrons. My suggestion...drive just a little bit farther down the road and skip this place, Dont waste your money. Plenty of other wonderful places nearby to grab an early bite, that wont leave you feeling disappointed and irritated.
Coming from the east coast we walked in this place expecting a diner feel and got the best service in the Midwest. Not only were the staff awesome and so welcoming, but the food was amazing and plentiful. If we can give 10 stars we would. Thank you BFR for being awesome!!!
Great service and food. My server was Erika and she did a great job. Food was tasty and the portions are huge. Love it!
The food is very good. Got the b&g platter, more than enough food. However, it was a Sunday afternoon around 1:30, so not very many people in the restaurant at all and the service was awful. It appears for the server we got that if you are not a senior citizen you will not get good service, which still wasnβt good service. She was kinda rude to them when they asked for decaf coffee. When the meal was over I asked the server for a refill please. (Didnβt have a drink for about 10 mins and ate half of the meal without one.Her response was β...uhh, sureβ. Wonβt be back for the plain fact that service was not good.
My better half and I always like to try new places for breakfast on weekends. This place has us making return trips its so amazing! Excellent tasting food. Huge portions. Great wait staff. Wish I could rate it 6 stars.
Ive eaten here quite a few times over the last 5 years. I do admit that the quality and quantity of food has stayed consistant, which is above average. The wait staff has changed, but still offer the friendly and knowageable that they had when I first came there.
One of those places I regrettably always forget about. Tucked away in a little strip mall. One would never guess they have such an expansive menu. Good value for the dollar.
I live close to the restaurant, so I order with some frequency. The food is always great! I also appreciate the personable staff and the cleanliness of the restaurant.
Its a decent place with a diverse menu, but, meh.The hollandaise sauce was sweet, and they did t toast the english muffin on my benedict.Nice place , could be better.
Good food, generous portions, and reasonably priced. Great place for breakfast.
Nice place. Good food. Decent prices. Easy to get to. They also have a room for meetings.
My exprience was good. It was everything expected had the fish fry on a cold Friday night. And I can say it warmed my night up. It was amazing potato pancakes were great too. I recommend it to anyone look for a nice casual place to sit down and have a meal
We were less than impressed and will not be back. The waitress did not know anything about one of the house specialties. My food came out and the waitress forgot half of my food and had to be reminded. I then asked for ketchup which she did not bring and was seen doing multiple other tasks. I eventually had to ask the hostess for it. In addition to this the food was made incorrectly. I will fully admit that at this point I did not give the restaurant a chance to fix this, as the waitress didnt know anything about the dish anyways. We will not be back.
I work here and I really enjoy to have pancakes waffles French toast skillets the strawberry walnut chicken salad everyday its a blessing πππ
Whenever Im outing with my family, we usually go to either the big name restaurant chains in the world or country or the cheapest and freshest locals in the city. Despite overlooking this restaurant for decades even when they showed up in TV commercials, it was finally time I introduced my parents to this place what with it being so popular and highly rated on the sites. The atmosphere is definitely meant to be family-friendly. The booths and bars are not dark-themed compared to most other pubs and joints in the city, so its easier to navigate without getting lost, but there isnt much eye candy in that matter. The menu has around seven pages with an extra for Friday Fish Fry, designated around the all-american family-friendly choices. The foods my family chose were top-notch quality. I went with a Lone Star burger. But honestly, we found the prices to be questionable. Needless to say, we walked away happy and left an impressive tip for their long time services. For a family restaurant, the standards are above average, with quality food at competitive prices. All in all, I still recommend this one.
Best skillet ever! They used a variety of fresh veggies (not canned!): mushrooms, tomatoes, onion, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, & carrots. That is so unusual for diner-style restaurants. Also had pretty good biscuits & gravy. Food was hot & service was fast. Coffee just okay, but, hot & plentiful.
We dont live in the area. We live 3 hours away and we were looking for a good breakfast after checking out of our hotel. Found this through Google Maps. It is a family restaurant. With that in mind I rated it a 5 because the food was not only good but was on our table in about 5 minutes after we ordered. The service was great and the staff was very courteous. Exceeded my expectations.
First time today for breakfast. Fast service, coffee cup was always full, large portions, large selection, fair prices, nice people. What else can you ask for?
