Bronze Owl in Poplar Bluff

This is a must each time we are in Poplar Bluff visiting our kids and grands. Everything is so good - if you get nothing else, get the fries. When they arrive to your table, put your head down and ignore your table mates whilst eating and and making yummy noises. 🤣Seriously good.

Great food and drinks. Try the fish or owls nest. Both are very good. Excellent customer service.Great Experience! We will be back!

This place is quaint, clean, and semi-quiet compared to other local bars. They have two outdoor options and an upstairs private room for parties. Theres a projector on the back deck. There’s a handful of locally brewed beer and quite a selection of other Missouri brewed beverages. The food is pretty good, too but I mostly come here for the Black Cherry Shandy or the 573 beer. If you come around often the staff will greet you by name when you walk in the door giving the place a real “cheers” like family atmosphere. It’s a great place to have a beer after work, bring a date, or just get out of the house.

Great food great beer, thats not brewed here, lively atmosphere. Bartender didnt know which on tap beers were theirs and which ones were from other breweries. Come on guys!

Great happy hour, but really really annoying that the drink list was only on the TV. The guy next to me thought I was checking him out, it was very uncomfortable

Great relaxed brew pub in downtown Poplar Grove. Nice outdoor seating, although we sat indoors due to heat. Indoors is nicely decorated, clean and cozy. Awesome beer selection on tap, including their own home brew. Spinach artichoke dip was great. Friendly bar keep, good vibes. Love this little place!

Not bad if you only want to see the waitress once and cool beer. Food was typical stuff out of the box and over priced. Shame....

Excellent brews, great service, good food. I had the Bonze Owl burger (large burgerand my wife had the Chipotle Chicken Wrap, both came with seasoned fries.

Beer selection was amazing. Great atmospere. Great staff. Menu concept was perfect. Exexution of menu... Ehh. Piles of seasoning in bottom of fries, burger over salty... But again... Beer. 😁

Bartender did not know what a Bock was, she even asked others what I was asking for.The food was not good at all. (Owls Nest and boneless wings)And I guess it was the owner that was drunk and trying to talk to everyone that came in the door, very annoying.I would not recommend this place if you are looking for good food or any sort of privacy.It was cute on the inside though.

They only had three of their own beers, food was below average and salty, and servers were indifferent to the customers. They have nice t shirts ( A bit overpricedfor sale.

My buddy and I were looking for a new post-ride hangout. We usually go to Colton’s Steakhouse but we definitely get tired of the chain restaurant thing and like supporting local businesses. We finished our ride at Wolf Creek yesterday and were looking for a place to get a burger and a beer. He happened to find the Bronze Owl and it offered burgers and beer so I said that sounds like where we need to go. We originally passed it by because it’s setback off the street between two larger buildings. However, we found it the second go-round. The building is really neat and has that unique flare you can only find in small town establishments. We went to the bar to place our order and got our beers. The bartender was very friendly and greeted everyone as they walked in. We got our food and it was superb. Meat was high quality and the fries were amazing. My buddy got a Cuban sandwich which he said was one of the best he’d ever had. We’re planning our next trip to Wolf Creek and plan to bring more friends to enjoy a great post-ride burger and brew at the Bronze Owl.

My family and were traveling through Popular Bluff and found this little gem, great service friendly people and awesome Beer and French fries.

The environment has a nice vibe to it and the workers are super awesome and the food is worth trying. Everything in the menu is so goooood. They have had entertainment there alot of times and is mostly open toaards the weekend. Actually their food is probably one of the best in town.

Honestly it was a cool place but the beers werent all that great. The beers all seemed under carbonated and the one I tried that they brewed was less than desirable. Sorry, not really impressed. Maybe the food would have been better but we didnt eat.

Tried it for the first time this evening and it was fantastic!! There was only one person working the floor and the bar so service was a little bit slow but he was super nice and the food well made up for it. Small menu but food is really good. Definitely going back!!

Best place in poplar bluff for draft beer selection; it also rotates often and offers their own brews. Dont skip the food menu either, easily in the top 3 places for lunch and dinner here. Dude that owns it is a real good lad.

Ate there last night and it was delicious! The food was all prepared perfectly! The drink were also amazing! I would give this place higher rating if possible! Seriously some of the best food from a restaurant I’ve had in a long time!!

Nice place to have some drinks. We ate beforehand which I think was a mistake because their menu looked good.

Great local restaurant. Good food, the beer selection was not huge but they did a really nice job helping us pick one out with samples. Very family friendly. We sat on the front patio and let the kids roam.

Food was OK but a bit pricey. The craft brews were mostly flavored and VERY pricey. I probably wont go back.

A fun local place working hard to revitalize downtown! I love the building, and the atmosphere. I havent had a chance to go there for lunch, but Ive seen their sandwich menu, and they look good. Often, they have live music on the weekends. Id recommend checking out their facebook page if you want more information.

We came in with the intention of getting lunch and sampling some brews. Unfortunately the service was nonexsistant. We came in, stayed for about 10 min and had zero attention in that time. We walked out. This was actually the second time we tried it. The first time there was a problem with the cooling system and the manager completely ignored us. The brew might be good but the service sucks. And the menu was extremely high prices. $12 bucks for a Rueben sandwich!!! What a disappointment.

A great little locally owned restaurant and pub. The food was excellent. The service was above average. The atmosphere was relaxing.

Very nice local place. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the upstairs is a smoke free and more "relaxed" quieter area for socializing. Excellent selections of food and brews! Additionally, a kids menu which unexpectedly does make it family friendly. Good clean fun with a nod to the more mature adult who is also a parent :)

Wife and I decided to try this place today for late lunch. Arrived about 1:30 and had the place to ourselves. Decor is nice and service was friendly. Menu is short for lunch but we were ok with the selection. We ordered a pretzel cheese appetizer which was delivered hot with a big cup of delicious white queso. When we ordered we were wanting to split a chef salad and a Bronze Owl burger. Server offered to plate the split salad separate with separate dressings. The food was fresh and tasty and well presented. Only negative was the loaded potato salad was very heavy. Might have been better served heated? I rarely give a 5 star but Ill hand out a high 4 star for this place.

We stopped in here for a few drinks last night and were not disappointed. Service was just a little bit slow, but they were very busy. Its a small venue, looks to be a converted house, but the environment is cozy and welcoming. We are excited to go back soon and try the food!
