Best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever had in my life.

Food was absolutely fantastic. Service was also great. Very cool little place. Lots of character. Dont miss it.

Service was slow but I know everyone is having trouble hiring so I get it. Just allow for extra time. Great food. Best Caesar salad in Chico!

Great restaurant. A family favorite.

Food was mediocre, and the cook was very vulgar, calling the other staff member period panties girl, and made other gross statements like how his eyeball sweat was going to drip into our food.

They had me when I learned I could order any pizza as a calzone. It was the best calzone Ive had since I lived in NYC <mumble> years ago. Our server was awesome.

I don’t normally leave reviews… but this place is absolutely amazing! Atmosphere, staff, prices, food… everything is spot on! By far one of the best restaurants in Chico!

This place is golden. I was excited to try this place out. There was a wait for lunch which in my opinion is a good sign. They were understaffed and the servers hustled. They really hustled while not sacrificing quality. I even watched one server send something back before taking the dish to the patron because it wasn’t right. That is quality control which they must consider the standard. I watched them work for about 15-minutes while waiting for my sandwich and I was very impressed with everything. They know what they are doing and it was obvious that the stress didn’t get to them. The food was perfect and the ingredients used…unbelievably fresh. I’m looking forward to going back.

The staff and food here are always amazing! This is one of my go to lunch places. Upstairs in the Phoenix building above Jon and bons downtown makes for some nice views and people watching.

Great service and food. Delicious dessert. I love the views looking downtown and the art they have inside. I recommend the pizza, tomato soup, and salad.

The salads were over priced gallon sized bowl of bagged lettuce with few toppings.The staff was fine. The food was disappointing.

Every meal here has been amazing! The sandwiches and tomato soup are so flavorful and mouth watering! They make all soups, breads and sauces in-house so you know you are getting a top quality meal.

Delicious sandwiches. The new York pastrami on their homemade focaccia got me good, the flavors.

Small but cute place with friendly service but just ok food. Visited for a wedding rehearsal dinner and ravioli was served buffet style. Also veggies and ceasar salad. Not bad but not great. Also felt very crowded inside but that could have been just because of our rehearsal party LOL.

Ive eaten at katz deli. Ive hunted the worlds best pastrami. And i tell you. THIS PLACE. Eat here. Be patient. Youll be so happy you did. Best reuben on either coast. Get the double meat tho.

The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious. Great service. I had the reuben style pastrami sandwich on focaccia, sooooo gooood!

Sandwiches are great, if a little on bready side. All the bread dishes are really solid actually. Would recommend the bidwell bruschetta for an appetizer.With that said, the bowl, specifically the "garlic prawn" bowl, was not worth the $20 price tag. Black rice, produce, and 6 shrimp with minced garlic tossed on top. Not exactly garlic prawns and not recommended.

This is our go-to spot when visiting Chico. Love the architecture of the building. We always get the turkey avocado.

So much flavor. Best grilled veggie sandwich Ive ever had, and the turkey sandwiches were amazing too. Unfortunately they dont serve french fries but the macaroni salad had veggies!

Would have been a 5 but didnt like the location of the table. It was right in the middle of where everyone was sitting or standing waiting for tables. It looked makeshift and there were other tables available. The wait was long but so it was at all the other places in town. Food was really very good and service once seated was great.

Love the pesto sandwich and Raspberry Ice tea. Had a friend take me here when I would visit him in Gridly and he made it a point to go here, glad he did m. Its my stop if choice when in Chico on business now.

Ordered ahead for mothers day take out. 7 entrees. Asked for no mayo because of dietary restrictions. Was disappointed to find club sandwich covered in mayo. Didnt have time to go back as everyone was together and ready to eat. Disappointed in the pasta salad as well. The pastrami sandwich which my son shared with me was great but not what I was wanting. Cant even blame it on being busy. Even though it was mothers day hardly anyone there.

I usually love Broadway heights, this time though we were disappointed. We came for Mother’s Day lunch. The waiter was sweet but he seemed like he hadn’t been serving for long. When we asked for sparkling water he looked confused and asked if we meant soda water. When he finally brought us our San Pelegríno, he seemed surprised that we would have wanted a glass for it. When he brought our appetizers he did not offer us small plates for them. Also saw our kids food on the line for a while. Groups that had been seated long after us were already getting their entrees while half our order was sitting on the line. Our waiter did not check in with us even though it was pretty obvious there had been a screw up with our order. Almost seemed like he was avoiding us a little. Once we did get our order, my moms salmon patties were not very warm. I’ve served before for many years so I understand that every now and then, a server or kitchen will screw up, it’s nothing personal. Just seemed like they were not on their A game today. Debating if I would wanna go back again because my first experience there was good.

Unique second story restaurant with nice window seating :We ordered the Stuffed Focaccia Ring for an appetizer, it came with a tasty garlic parm sauce and had the Chicken Parm sandwich with some garlic tomato soup; Margarita Calzone. Everything was delicious 😋 Very filling appetizer! They also have unique, tasty sounding desserts as well, so next time Im going with something lighter to be able to try them for sure.

I fell in love with their California sandwich its filled with Avocado, sprouts, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, mozzarella, mayonnaise and House mustard, I added turkey on it and it was mouth watering delicious. The prices are up there but it is definitely worth it because the portions are large for a full size sandwich. I will most definitely be going back for more 😁

Great food and great service! I forgot a box from my large order and an employee drove to my location to deliver it before I could even offer to pick it up myself from the restaurant due to my own mistake. Johnny is a great manager here and deserves his own shout-out. Support this great restaurant during COVID, they deserve to make it through this challenging time, and I know they will thrive again when this is all behind us.

Absolutely fantastic! Got the Thai Chicken Sandwich with the potato soup. The sandwich is huge! The soup was creamy, red potatoes and the garlic was just enough. The chicken in the sandwich was actually seasoned...like during its cooking, not just with the stuff on the sandwich. This sounds simple but surprising how many places are too lazy to season each step. They make their own peanut sauce! So good that I forgot to take pics.Our server was very friendly and knew the food and anticipated our wants and needs before we could think to ask.

Nice place for a light lunch. Their salads are all really good and their tomato parmesan soup is a perfect comfort food! Their sandwiches are HUGE, so unless you want a mountain of food, I recommend the half order on those.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. The last few times weve gone the service has been really slow. Maybe thats part of the deal? Definitely no rush on finishing up so if you want talk and catch up its good for that. And I like that they offer half portions.

Ordered chicken parmesan for myself and the salmon cakes for my fiance. Both of our meals were simply not good, vegetables and rice were horrible undercooked(and we like Al dente vegetables). Couldnt even eat my chicken parmesan, it was crunchy and seemed undercooked as well, and I dont mean it had a crunchy crust, the meat itself had a very strange texture. The marinara sauce tasted like it was straight out of a bottle, probably Prego or something generic. Salmon cakes were alright. Staff was very friendly and it was a cool location but will not be going back for food.

This restaurant has been a favorite of ours ever since it was Jascos. The calzones are " to die for", the Caesar salad is the BEST, all the sandwiches I have tried are fabulous, and the "Bowls" theyve recently added are amazing because they are delicious and yet guilt-free ! We are usually too full for their desserts, however we occasionally share one and they have been delish 😋. Service is warm and attentive, wait staff are professionals - not just a crew of college kids. All around great place for lunch, dinner, and dessert ...🍨

I had a party here with about 40 guests..Amber our hostess was wonderful.. they set up the party area nicely with white linens and ice water, which was fabulous because it was a 97°.. we ordered 3 protein for our buffet , we were not happy with the marinated tri tip, but the chicken parmesan was good and so was the salmon.. both salads were delicious! The party was not rushed.. I would recommend this restuarant..

Love love love this place!! Everything is so fresh and delicious. Most things are made in house, even the bread for their to-die-for focaccia sandwiches. I am always telling people to come here. Lastly, Dawns Desserts are absolutely amazing. Id come here every day of the week for lunch if I could!

Ive been eating here 22 years. Always deliciousness... Consistent and yummy desserts made by Dawn (Who also waits tables and is probably the best waitress in town). Sometimes people forget this is here... But a wonderful gem in Chico

Came in here on a whim after spending a weekend in Chico. The staff was friendly and this was by far one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. My fiance felt the same way about the sandwich she ordered. Broadway Heights is now on our list of "go-to" places when we visit Chico.

Sandwiches so good youll want to punch yourself in the ear for not going here sooner. The focaccia bread they use should be illegal its so good. The soups are delicious too, especially the tomato and the toasted bell pepper soup. Keep meaning to try the other things on the menu but the sandwiches are so good I cant make myself try something else.

As ever the staff is great, cool ambience but casual and the best pastrami in CA. Try the Reuben sandwich with their house made pastrami, youll thank me. Or try their salads and specials, its all good.

Never had a bad experience here. Usually quiet dining and delicious cuisine.The pizza is artisan! Youre probably thinking, "Im sick of pizza, Ill get something else." Big mistake! Your life will be nothing but regret if someone else orders pizza and you dont.

I like the building, didnt try the pizza but sandwich and salad were few options and pretty bad for vegetarians. Bread got kinda soggy fast and the salad was romaine with a bit of added color not much taste. My sister eats here often for lunch and loves it, but I probably wont be back (I could be convinced to get pizza if friends wanted to go there).

Broadway Heights is one of my favorite places to get lunch. Love their sandwiches and soups. The place has slightly changed in the past few years after the ownership but I appreciate a lot of the new changes. I am willing to pay the extra dollar for my favorite sandwich.

Best Chicken Cesar Salad in Chico! Though their prices have gone up significantly, (so were not there as oftenthe menu offers great variety. The pizzas & sandwiches are great & you get full! I have been eating here since the 80s! Its always comforting to know a good restaurant thats always been good, doesnt need to change!!

Good food at a decent price. A regular option for a salad and pizza downtown. My wife regularly asks for their Greek salad and shes always pleased.Been going here though a couple different owners and names.They changed their hot pastrami to to my detriment and their tomato bisque has always sucked but everything else has always been good. Desserts are decent but we usually go elsewhere.Good place to meet up downtown.

Broadway Heights is one of the best restaurants in Downtown Chico. It has all the necessary charm that a great restaurant needs; comfortable seating, a cosy classy yet casual atmosphere, and perfect views of Downtown Chico, and great food. They have one of the best menus and a great assortment of reasonably priced meals. I have yet to eat something off their menu that I did not find to be exquisite.

Our first time there and we LOVED it! Great food, atmosphere and service. (This is their roasted veggie sandwich and tomato Parmesan soup)

Love the food at Broadway Heights. Just throw a dart at the menu, youre sure tho hit something good. Their focaccia sandwiches are huge and delicious. You might only want half a sandwich if you dont want to be stuffed. Their sides are great too, I really love their tomato soups

Slow service despite low customer volume. You should have more people working on a Friday night. Food was common. Edible but could have been better for the hour wait between ordering and getting food. The artichoke dip was really good, glad we ordered it or we would have starved.
